macro chicken wings
On the evening of 25th July I purchased two packets of Macro chicken wings from the refrigerated chicken section of the supermarket. Upon returning home I was shocked to discover that these chicken wings were rock hard and icy. Now that's not a problem in itself, however when I looked at the useby date it was 1/8/2018. I have been trained in food safety and work in food services and so am aware that once defrosted chicken of all things should be consumed within two days. This raises two issues. How long before these wings are frozen and why when placed in the refrigerated section are they being given a lifespan of another seven days. This needs to be brought to your attention before someone gets very sick. These were purchased at 4pm on the 25th July 2018 at the Newmarket plaza store Racecourse road Flemington .
fresh chicken
I purchased RSPCA chicken thighs from the Delicatessen counter at Woolworth Sorell, Tasmania.
I found that four (4) chicken thighs totalling 0.742 grams contained 0.181 grams of fat.
This means that I paid for over 20% of pure fat. I will agree that chicken thighs contain fat; but, not this much.
This is disgraceful and I will no longer purchase meat from you; but go to Coles, where I found thighs to be of better quality.

staff - brimbank shopping centre
Staff smoking outside the front door of Woolworths Brimbank.
Last night at 1830hrs I observed six staff crowded together outside the front door of the Woolworths entry door, smoking. Brimbank Shopping
Centre (BSC) has various designated areas for smokers, all of which are tightly managed and located away from entry points of the SC. The area these staff were standing is definitely NOT one such area. Given the right wind, smoke would readily drift back in the door of a food retailer, in this case Wolworths!
This is not a good look. When I see it, my first reaction is "will they all wash their hands after this?" Is management aware of this? Are management part of this (one of the staff was dressed like a manager)? Do they pick up all their butts?
Should I pass this on, to BSC Management to ensure it is better policed?
Woolworths have two other competitors at BSC, being Coles and ALDI. At no time would you EVER see staff from these competitors smoke in public view.
Not good enough, but a long way Woolworths!
staff/customer service
I would like to complain once again on the service I received at your Golden Square store in Bendigo. The girl concerned was called Stacey, on picking up a Click & Collect order, I was asked to sign a device with my nails. I advised nothing was being written and she showed me how by running her finger over the screen. I then did the same and Stacey advised the scribble on the screen was enough to say I signed! It literally was just zig zag lines/scribble. I said to Stacey that the scribble was not my signature, so she took the device from my hands, making noises, rolling her eyes and shaking her head, it appeared to be such a bother for her. After I had signed appropriately, I collected the groceries and glanced back, seeing Stacey shaking her head and chatting to another staff member. This is the 2nd time in nearly as many months I have received this type of service, ie: anything other than just standing there seems to be too much trouble for the Golden Square staff. This type of service is truly unacceptable. I generally don't go to this store because of the rude staff, but on this occasion, didn't have a choice. I was advised last time that the staff would be told of this type of behaviour, but nothing seems to have changed.
Sincerely...Regina
Look forward to hearing from you soon.
foreign object in t-bone steak
Please see attached photo of a metal object (possibly from a butchers glove) that was found on my T-Bone steak that was purchased from Woolworths in Jordan Springs.
Unfortunately, there are no photos of the object on the steak - however, my husband and I were relieved that we had not served that meat to our 8 year old son. He may not have seen the object, as I did.
pricing
I receive an an email weekly advising me the weekly's specials my rewards card number [protected] so this week you send me that chicken thigh fillets on special for $8.50 I get the merrylands Woolworths and it says $10 I show them the email and it says valid till 24/7/2018. I have to wait for manager the manager can change it until I finish shopping and we have to call her again to change the price. This is not the first time twice before I have paid full price only to find out that they were on special. Now I don't know how a fault but please if your going to send me the weekly special make sure it's the correct prices or inform Woolworths of the correct prices. Very up set customer because it's not the first time

britex carpet shampooer
Date 20/07/18 hire number 3998. When I purchased the machine I asked for the short nozzle that allows the user to clean items like a upholstery, the assistant said it had gone missing? After starting the machine at my home the pipe that feed the shampoo liquid to the carpet was constantly dripped onto the carpet and I had to wrap a rag around the fitting so not to wet the carpet.
Please, if parts from the machine go missing, please replace. We wanted to shampoo the upholstery, but now I am going to have to rehire the machine from another woolworths outlet, this is going to cost me more in rehire. I would like some sort of refund to cover the new costs. Thank you.
I was profiled and laugh at by woolworths palmyra
today my visit to Woolworths in Palmyra was a utter disgusting by the staff, when I walk in I was followed by an Woolworths employee the whole time and when I went to use the self services again a Woolworths employee stood next to me while I scan my items. when I selected the option to pay the machine refused to accepted my requests I was laugh at told I'm useless by this person standing over me I cant press the touch screen I was totally profile by Woolworths
I walk the 5mins to my local BWS Palmyra to purchase a bottle of wine, I selected my wine to have for dinner, waited to be served by one of the two shop staff severing the 4 other people ahead of me, when it was finally my turn, I was told by of the two BWS staff I needed to show ID. The 4 people ahead of was never asked to show ID. I said your joking and then was told clearly NO ID NO wine DAD! I'm 54 years of age. Woolworths when your staff Hi -Five themselves for been utterly rude, it time to take my legal rights see you in court
parking at woolworths metro north sydney
As I wanted to go and shop at North Sydney Woolworths Metro today, I went onto the internet to see if there was parking available. On the site of parking at 100 Miller Street, North Sydney, it says "customers paid". Please see attached photos. From that I assumed, maybe very naively (I am a pensioner) that the parking for customers was paid for. After travelling down to the basement to eventually finding customer parking - that took about 15 minutes, I eventually found parking. The concierge on the ground floor directed me to where Woolworths was. I went into the store, purchased the few items that I needed and paid my bill of $27.30 by credit card at 11.46am today, 20/07/2018. I asked the cashier, who asked the manager about the parking ticket if it needed to be stamped - no-one knew anything.
I then proceeded back down to the basement area, and checked my ticket in the machine. Imagine my shock and horror when the machine asked for $29 in parking fees. Being an elderly lady, I almost had a heart attack. My parking cost me more than my groceries! This is something that my budget does not cater for.
If this is the case, then I am better off going to park at Greenwood Plaza and do my shopping at the IGA where I have 1 hour free.
Thank you for your time.

delisting rubbedin cooktop magic
I live on Phillip Island in Victoria and since Woolworths has delisted Rubbedin Cooktop Magic I am unable to purchase it anywhere in my area as Coles has also delisted this item. Rubbedin Cooktop Magic is the best cooktop cleaner I have tried and far superior to the brand Woolworths currently stocks. I would like to know why Woolworths has seen fit to delist this product.
woolworths pork strips
I have been weighing my meat into halfs & have noticed that your 500g Woolworths brand of pork strips in Sorell Tasmania does not weigh 500g at all.
I am missing between 23-40g per container so far which makes me wonder what else doesn't add up. If you say it contains 500g then that's what I should get. I will be weighing everything for now on, this is ridiculous & it doesn't include the packaging it says I'm paying for 500grams & I'm not getting my money's worth really not happy I am a loyal Woolworths shopper and I deserve better from you.
woolworths brand gluten free banana bread mix
I purchased this product recently and thought I would bring it to your attention that the ingredients and method directs you to use vegetable oil. Vegetable oil is NOT gluten free and if newly diagnosed Coeliacs were unaware it makes the product non compliant with a coeliac diet. The packet should direct the user to use an alternate oil compliant with a gluten free diet.
reduced items
This is only about 80c, but I am annoyed that when an item was reduced by 80c and clearly marked so on the package, I was charged the full amount at checkout.
The item in question was Soup Starter, originally priced at $400 and reduced to $3.20. This sort of thing has happened before and I have done nothing about it, but now I think I should point it out and suggest that the checkout operator should be told to be more vigilant.
check out operator
Rebecca at the Woolworths on the Pakington Strand just gave us the worst customer experience I have ever had in a Woolworths. I don't expect much, however, from the beginning she was huffing and puffing and making us feel as though we were ruining her day by going through her check out? She rolled her eyes at us when we said we needed a couple more of the 15C plastic bags and continuously huffed as though us being there and her doing her job (simply scanning the food) was causing her pain. Seriously unpleasant.
bad customer service
This is the worst experience i ever had. Its been 2 months am in Australia and every week i go to woolworths store to buy my groceries. On friday 13 july 2018 it was 8 35 pm, as usual i went to the counter to buy cigaret i was accompanied by my cousin. The employee there said no he cannot give it to me because i had no id. I said fine i agree but then i cousim wanted to buy it and he had his Id and his credit card still the employee said no because i had no ID. I walked 4 mins to fetch my driving license and came back. I gave him my driving license and still he refused me because its a MAURITIAN license but i have previously presented it to other stores and even to that store and there was a girl who had accepted it. So this guy is being like racist to me ?00
He was arguing with me and went back home and i will never buy a single thing there again. I ask him tell someone who is higher than you and he say no one is here. Is that the training you give to your staffs?
If am wrong i will accept but here i am sure am not
cat food
I bought three lean meat cat food for my cats on 16/7/2018 at woden Woolworth.
In the night, I want to feed my cats but I see the black dots and stale colour of meat after I open it.
I wasn't angry or sad, I just felt, I'm lucky that I see it before I feed my cats.
Then, I check the package, it's due on 05/07/2018.
Oh my god, it's over due over 10 days.
I was upset that I have to go back to the shop again.
I went and I spoke to the stuff but they are just focus on how to return my money.
What they said to me is, their duty manager is not available right now, can they just return the money to me.
Well, what can I say so I revived the money. However, I was expect someone can apologise and say, it will not happened again.
I'm disappointed about over due food. I know I suppose to check the date before I buy it but I just forgot about it. Then, this kind of things happened.
My cats might get sick if they eat it.
It's no no, Woolworths.
geelong toilet brush and toilet roll holder
I wanted to purchase the above produce from Woolworths last week which was advertised at $7.49. I went into the Chrisites Beach store in South Australia to be told that they had never seen these. The computer system was checked and I was also told that there was no record of these in any store.
Today I went in Woolworths at Seaford and the Geelong Toilet Brush and Toilet Roll Holder were on the shelf. I spoke to someone there who advised me that last week I was given the incorrect information and the staff did not check the computer system properly because most people do not know how to use it.
I do not think this is fair at all for a customer who should have been given the correct information. They have now gone up to $14.99 and I was told that I would have to wait for them to go on special again to purchase them at the cheaper price. I was also advised to check Big W because they may sell them cheaper than Woolworths.
I should be given the opportunity to purchase these at $7.49 given the fact that I was given the incorrect information last week.
home delivery of groceries
On 10/7/2018 (I think), we received our order that we had placed online. The order was pretty late (which I don't mind too much) and there was an item (Bacon) missing (which I can understand happens and do not mind too much)! The main reason one uses this service is for convenience and we had a recipe which we were going to make that night which required bacon and due to the late delivery, was not enough time to go back to the shop. The only thing that really annoyed me, was the agent's attitude when my wife phoned. I think the champ's name was Peter, who was very arrogant, spoke over the top of her, thought that by a refund of the money (less than $5), he was doing us a big favour (this, I do mind very much!). As above, I get that mistakes happen (this is actually the second time, it's just that we didn't complain at all the first time), but all we expect is an explanation of how this could happen, what will be done to mitigate it happening again, an apology, etc. If the reason is that the agent is harassed, because he's getting so many phone calls querying orders', then perhaps it is a problem that needs sorting and if it's not, it's probably just an attitude problem!
rotten coconuts
Hi Folks,
I have been buying coconuts from woolies at Narangba, however lately i have been getting quite a few rotten ones. I feel a little scummy taking back a $3 item, but i have had two rotten ones in the last week. I certainly dont want you to withdraw them from sale, but am annoyed about the number of rotten ones lately. I would just like some good coconuts.
Thanks

woolworths home delivery order
My daughter who is a single mum and on a very tight budget placed an order with Woolworths Sylvania last week, she checked her account and realised that the shopping amount was deducted from her account three times, she rang Woolworths to have this fixed and was told no we didn't take out this money and we don't even have an order for you, she went to her bank and waited for an hour with a baby in her arms to be told yes Woolworths had in fact taken out the amount three times, another phone call to Woolworths and they said oh yes we did take it out three times. She asked if they could please put the amount back in her account as she would be without money for the rest of the week they replied no this will take up to three to four working days and being a Thursday she would have no money over the weekend and then to top it off she had still not received her shopping order. Well today is Saturday still no shopping delivered it was ordered on Wednesday so not only does she have no money she also has no food. This is absolutely disgraceful service she had to borrow money to get her and her baby supplies until Woolworths decide to fulfill her order and return her money. I can't understand how this can happen the excuse given was it was a computer glitch what a joke. Get your act together Woolworths you have now lost our family as one of your customers.
