Zynga review: Gin rummy plus 5

On Sunday July 23rd 2023, my gin rummy plus account was permanently suspended. There was no warning and I have been given on reason as to why other than an automated response that their system has detected a violation of their policy. I have had this account for several years and have enjoyed playing, winning and losing legitimately, so the fact that a computer system has flagged a supposed issue and I have been accused, judged and sentenced without even an investigation or been given a chance to defend myself, is unjust.

I have emailed them several times to ask for clarification but to date, I have had no reply. I know I am just one player and am insignificant to Zynga but I have worked long and hard for the rewards I had won and for that to be ripped away is unfair. Relying on an algorithm to do the job of a real person should not dictate a final decision.

I can’t imagine what rule I could have possibly broken as at the time, although I had experienced wins of 5/6 games on the trot, I have experienced more before and the amounts were not ridiculous amounts either. The game encourages account holders to play against their Facebook friends but then punishes them if they win? All I want is to be able to retrieve my account and my legitimately earned rewards, and get back to playing my friends.
