I've purchased 3 x Premio P1000 Tablets in Sept 2016 for my kids. My problem is getting screen replacement parts for these. I mean it's kids; they'll break it. store manager regarding my poloneck left in the store

On the 13th May 2017, I went to Akermans Wonder Park to collect my Lay-bye. Whiles in store I decided to exchange to Polonecks to a different size. All my items were checked n I had to do the exchange and I took out all the items I wanted to exchange they were all scanned. Unaware one of the red poloneck that I was supposed to take was left on the counter. When I got home the Poloneck was not there. On the 16th May 2017 I went back to the store and I managed to see the cashier who was assisting me n I explained what happened to her. She then decided to get the manager who also I explained what happened. Even though I explained my story she kept on asking me questions as if I was not assisted by the cashier on the counter and she told me that Akermans is not like milady's or other stores where they are able to see how many items were sold n not sold nor returned. I don't know how was that my problem because as a customer I mistakenly left one of my paid items in the store and I needed to get it back. However I was not helped because the manager told me she has boxes to receive n she doesn't have time to look at the cameras to see what happened. And I decided to leave the store.
The fact is I want my item because I paid for it. And I would highly appreciate it if this matter can be handled as soon as possible.
Customer service
I applied for application form to open an account with ackermans and I went in store with the required documents, then I was sent a message to go in again and submit same documents so I did that and asked lady from bay side ackermans mall to fax them for me and she said she did only to find out next day that she did not fax everything so I had to call and I waited approximately 20 min before a consultant could help me and documents did not go through for some reason then I emailed and now I am trying to call and have been on the line for 30 min and I find this absolutely appalling. What kind of service does ackermans provide and do they not care about gaining new customers, cause its clear to me that you guys dont at all.
Store card
I visited Ackerman's Bridge City on Saturday the 29th of April and I went to the phones with the hope of getting a customer services consultant who will assist in contacting the contact centre because I have lost my store card and I needed to make a payment. I waited and there was no one willing to help and I went to the tills to ask for assistance to my surprise I was told that everyone was busy so I had to wait. I waited and waited until I decided to go home and come back the next day. When I got there on Sunday I went back to the tills and I asked for help and the lady I spoke to advised that they were all busy so I have to go an get someone from the floor to help. I went and I found a guy who called the contact centre but the phones were not answered. ALL I NEED IS TO GET THE ACCOUNT NUMBER SO THAT I CAN MAKE THE PAYMENT AND CLOSE THE ACCOUNT .
I even tried dialling *120*27587# but it could not help me as well
Left my wallet at a cashier's desk
I was in store buying raisins when I left my wallet in the counter of the
cashier. I went back a few hours later and asked the cashier and she says
she had not seen my wallet.
The store was empty at the time it was early in the morning. I request to
view their cctv to see wether who took my wallet. This occured in ackermans
Queenstown. I need my wallet back I have important cards and information..Please assist
Service was very poor
I would like to lodge a complain against ackerman @ wonderpark, went today to exchange the tracksuit and sleepers for my 11 month child the problem starts where the cashier told me he can't help since I used the card and I told him yes for the tracksuit I used a card and for sleepers I used my debit card, but he didn't want to listen then he call the manager that's where disaster starts, I wonder how can a manager behave the way she did, am very disappointed the way she handled the situation.cisky the manager was very rude together with thabiso the cashier
I went to the Ackermans today, what a poor service I have received, there were four cashiers but all of the were busy, God knows with what, we stood there on the que without being assisted, the next thing when I was finally assisted, they needed the overwrite cause the item was not priced corretly and then the person who is doing overwrite comes with not so nice attitude,. Faulty netsurfer tablet
I purchased a Netsurfer Tablet from Blue Route mall, Tokai Branch in Dec 2016, 2 weeks after we purchased it, the tablet malfunctioned. We took it back to the store, the condition was immaculate, no scratches on the unit, this was noted by the man that took the tablet in and marked it as such on the form which was to be sent with the unit to go in for repairs. Bear in mind that this unit was brand new, literally only 2 weeks old. I waited a month and a half for this thing to be "Fixed", I got a call last week to let me know that the tablet had been delivered back to the branch from the repair place. I went to collect it on Saturday past and on receiving it in the store was told it has a different IMEI number. I inquired as to how this can be? Was it a new unit they replaced it with? The lady that assisted me Chantel then called the repair place inquiring if it was a new unit they replaced the faulty one with, they responded no, it was a refurbished unit. Now I paid full price R899, 99 for a new unit, which malfunctioned 2 weeks after its purchase and they want to give me a second hand refurbished unit? This hardly seems fair. If I wanted to buy a second hand unit I would have gone onto a site like gumtree and purchase a second hand unit. But I came into Ackermans and spent R899, 99 to purchase a new unit, which malfunctioned. Am I not entitled to a replacement New Unit? I am not satisfied with the second hand unit they wanted to give me, I did not take receipt of this unit, I took my documentation and I left the unit at the store with Chantel and asked her to get responses for me. Today a call from her was received, she basically told me, that the unit that was sent for repairs had been recycled and I now had to be happy with the second hand refurbished unit that the repair place had replaced my brand new unit with. I either want a new unit from Ackermans or I want my money credited back to me. I want answers and I want to know why a customer who pays for a new unit gets given a second hand refurbished unit if it is not repairable, why doesn't Ackermans not just replace the unit with a new unit. I would like an urgent response back regarding this serious matter. Because I did not get what I paid for, I got a used item.
A phone with a factory problem
I bough a phone at Queenstown Ackermans in july 2016 the phone when i open it after charging my son noticed that it was black with no menu I returned it they told me that it will go on repairs then I came to JHB . A friend kept on checking on the progress of the phone with no luck up to date, one day he went to check it he was told that a voucher for a new phone has been issued, but they need a till slip of which I returned the phone with it, when I told my friend that I did not make a duplicate of that till slip they told him that he can not make a purchase of a new phone without knowing the cost of that repaired phone . I told my friend that it was 7 something .I bought a phone to use it not to be fixed and a bad treatment from Queenstown Ackermans opposite to Shoprite stores

Bad customer service
Ackermans (chrishani crossing vosloorus) came to do my shopping and the shop is clossed. The store is suppouse to be openned by 09:00 but its 09:20 and im still standing outside. No one is coming to tell the customers what is happening, why is the stuff holding a meeting during our time for shopping. Im disgusted by the service we recieve at the township outlets.
Rude-customer service
We were 2 ladies waiting in the Q, we just saw the cashier brining 6 more people to the Q, and placing/helping them before us. She then said we have to wait after all of them! This is crap, the customer service at Trade Route mall is absolutely pathetic! We just left our times there! Please train your staff properly
Account payment
I was having the clothing account in ackermans the account was using by my wife my wife couldnt manage to pay the account untill ackermans transfered the account to nedbank legal department the account was owing r3827.19 I went to nedbank to pay r3900 but since I paid the money I dont get the letter that I did settled the account I even phoned the legal department no one unswer the phone my problem my name still blacklisted so irequest nedbank legal department to remove my name from blacklist
Double payment
I bought curtains at ackermans potchefstroom on 7 june 2012, my debit card was rejected by their nedbank machine and a slip printed saying "unsuccessful - transaction declined". I then paid with my husband's debit card r539.70 only to discover afterwards that the amount was in fact also debited to my cheque account. I have been trying for 2 weeks to get ackermans to have the duplication reversed and my money refunded. I have spent approx r100 in phone calls, listening to promises that the matter is "pending" and will be sorted out. The manager at potchefstroom keeps promising to phone me but doesn't do so.
My husband was the first to try this company by the suggestion of a mobile dealer, and since it was working fine for him he referred it to me. I signed up with them too, but it did not work well for me, and I think that the dealer as well as lycamobile were guilty. Every time it was time to pay my husband's phone they disconnected mine even after he paid his, and I couldn't make calls as many time as I wasn't even though my plan was unlimited. For instance, I called a person and left a message, if he didn't returned my call and I decided to call them again Lycamobile would not let me! It happened so many times that I got tired! Also even though I was paying for internet connection it only worked if I had the wifi on! My husband started having problems with Lycamobile as well, so we decided to changed providers as soon as possible since there is no contracts. So it was almost 2 days before my husband's phone to be paid again and he changed to another provider, and as I still had 16 days paid on my phone I was planning to changed providers as soon as possible to. To my surprise Lycamobile disconnected my phone on the same day they disconnected my husband's phone and there was no way we could convince them that I still had 16 days or that I was the owner of that phone and my husband was the owner of his phone. I had to change to another provider right away and Lycamobile kept 16 days worth of my monthly plan. They kept my money! Is there a way I can make them refund me what they've stolen?
Refund taking 8 weeks
I would like to lodge a complaint about the following. I paid up my account on 26/7/2011 at the ackermans woodlands branch, after getting the settlement balance of r910.05 in branch.
On 10/9/2011 I received an sms informing me that I still owe money on the account. I went to woodlands branch on 12/9/2011 and the manager phoned nedbank to find out what is going on. I was discovered that the branch paid the money that I settled my account with to nedbank and not tenacity. I then immediately made a settlement payment of r1195.85, as tenacity advised over the phone. The guy at nedbank gave me a reference number ([protected]) and told me that they will refund me within 5-6 days.
Till this point, I haven’t received my money back and I am very unhappy about the way they dealt with my account. I did enquire at the branch on how long it will take and the manager’s response were that they have a backlog of 6 weeks. I am losing interest on my savings account from where I made the payment from.
I have settled an account with these guys... I've wasted over R500 worth of airtime trying to get my paid up letter...from last week July 2022 they said everyday today I will receive my letter and it's been a week I haven't received my letter has yet...I called again this morning and still no satisfaction... what can I do to get my paid up letter...if not I'm taking this up with hello Peter or ombudsman... this is madness... we get into arrears,they will call a million times but when we settle and ask 4 our paid up letter they take years...if I don't get my settlement letter today I will take you guys up trust me ...and please find better stuff to work people who can speak proper English and not dam mumble on the phone

I would like to lodge a complaint regarding the service and treatment I got from the staff at ackermans in west street (Durban). I bought a premio 530 in March.This August ( 06) it just froze and did not charge. 0n the 9th I went to buy the same cellphone because I knew they will take the whole year to fix the old one whereas I need it for academic purposes.
Today on the 11th on Saturday I went back to tell them that I need them to refund me because the old cellphone is now functioning and they did not even bother to listen to my story, they just told me that I can't bring the cellphone back. They even had the audacity to tell me that they can't take the cellphone back because they know it now has a virus as if it is some cosmetic or underwear.
It's fine I do not need a refund anymore since they refused but all I have to say is that ackermans really do not deserve any customers. They treat us like trash after we give them our monies and when we are not satisfied with their service they tell us to go to hell. Really ackermans, thank you for nothing!

I recieve a card from ackermans via post office and went to the nearest ackermans to fill in the form correctly then they told me they would send me a message of reference number and the first number in the form is no longer working am only using [protected] i want to know if my account is approved or not
Amounts added to account
Can you please help I was in arrears with one of my accounts at Ackerman’s and a person called me for the payment.
I made the payment and my account was up to date, but when I received my account there was amounts added on my account for “invordergsgelde – brief” and “invoderingsgelde oproep “.
2 amounts of R 18.42 were added to my account.
I want to know the following
1. Is it legal to add the amount for the calls and the letter to my account (should Ackerman’s not be that amounts?)
2. with the new consumer act is it legal for them to give my info to a 3rd party?
They are quick to list you but do not delist
I took the initiative and went to Ackermans Eastgate to make paymet on my account, the consultant at the customer service counter refused to assist me as she said that without the card they cannot assist me even though I offered to give her my id number, she told me she was to busy to call the Head Office, so I walked out very disappointed with the service...
