This store has a redbox for DVD rentals. The customer service is substandard, though. I was recently treatly rudely when trying to use a raincheck for a sale item they were out of in Feb.2010. So now it's March 2010 and I try to buy the item that is now in stock when I'm in there to rent a DVD anyway, and the checker says my raincheck was issued too long ago. I said it was only last month. Well, I didn't notice that the raincheck forms now say you have to use it within 30 days. It hasn't always been a 30 day window to use the raincheck by, but the checker argued with me and said it has. Checker would not honor the raincheck. I asked if an exception could be made and the answer was no. I was ready to settle for that answer, and the more I thought about it I remembered coming to the store in February just for the sale item that they were out of in the first place. What a hassle. It seems like this store has sale items in their ads and if you don't shop there the first or second day of the ad week, they are out of what was on sale. Seems like they could do a better job at ordering and stocking the shelves for the items they are advertising on sale. Then to harass a customer over a raincheck price. That is ridiculous. It was only a few days beyond the 30 days anyway. Not like a few years where inflation has had time to make a difference and the store would have suffered a big loss by honoring the raincheck price on 2 measly items. Well, the checker could have offered to call a manager when I was visibly not happy about the situation. But no, she was willing to let me go on my way as a dissatisfied customer. Well, I decided not to settle for her refusal to honor it and had several more words to say to her about the customer service being not up to par and then she finally offered to call over a manager. The manager said to honor the raincheck for me and also mentioned that the 30 days to use the raincheck by hasn't always been the stores policy, but it is now. The manager was nice enough, but the whole scene/hassle was more than enough to leave me dissatisfied with the store in general. Why would I want to spend my money at a store where the customer service is so poor. The grocery store I usually shop at would bend over backwards to make me happy. And, their rainchecks never expire. And even if they did, the store would make an exception to make the customer happy. Plus, the store I do the vast majority of my shopping at has an extremely friendly atmosphere and staff. Albertsons needs to wake up and do some serious rethinking about the importance of customer service. I will still go into that store and get DVDs from the redbox, but I'm not inclined to buy any groceries there anymore.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I use to shop at albertsons i have shop at that store for twenty years. The management got so bad that they treat you like why do you shop here go to trader' joe's or walmark give them your money we got a lot of money!
I hate going in that store now the kids are playing around the check stands they will not help you talking on the cell phone when they need to work. i could say more! There are losing a lot of shoppers. Its cheap laber!
The lotto/service desk stinks! At least when one of the clerks is on duty. I bought 4 rolls at 4 for $1.00 got charged $1.25. Upon asking why I was told to take my business elsewhere the noboby clerk didn't like my attitute. She pawed my rolls, making sure it were 4 and not 5 (duh) then denied it (the pawing) when I informer her that I was getting fresh unpawed rolls. Manager, however, let me get the rolls.
Will not shop there anymore
I am very unhappy with the customer service that I received from Andertons Music Co. I made several attempts to contact customer service and never got an responds 6 days later informing me that they
cancel my order. No explanation of why... Don't make purchases from this company they obviously don't care about there customers.
They just let me hanging. Andertons Music Co. claims to have great service, what a liars they are they are the worst. Take my word review the company for your self. I loss 6 days of my time trying to verify my purchase.
