Amazon $100 gift card scam
On Sept 05 2017, while browsing Amazon, I received a pop-up saying that as a frequent shopper on Amazon, I was eligible for a $100 Amazon Gift Card if I took a 3 question survey. This showed what appeared to be a genuine Amazon Gift card with the Amazon logo. The survey segued into a detailed survey on my consumer preferences and demographics, apparently from the "National Customer Center" or similar site. I did not finish the survey and on closing the tab was given the usual "Do you want to leave this page? Data you have entered may not be saved". Hopefully, the data was NOT saved, but I have doubts.I realized that this was a data mining scam, with the data sold on the internet to telemarketers for solar power, credit repair services etc, etc, but also made available to phishing and identity theft criminals. I am reporting this to Amazon, but also, to let buyers, especially Amazon customers, beware of this scam. Note that this is similar to the classical Publisher's Clearing House Scams which are still repeating since the last century.
fake underarmour shoes sold on amazon india
Amazon claims to sell underarmour products ... they are selling fake products ..I bought a pair of training shoes from there app on 15th aug 2017.
After receiving the product I could not believe that the glue used to paste the sole of the shoe was actually visible on the corners ... still I gave them benifit of doubt and tried the shoe for a week ... I was shocked to see that the shoe was torn from one side in such a short span.
The only thing which I liked about amazon is that they agreed to process refund ... but you can't deny the fact that you are being introduced in a new market by a retailer which is selling fake product of your brand.
Imagine the kind of first impression you are giving to your customers who are willing to spend there hard earned money on your brand.

I ordered a Samsung phone and at first everything went well, the order was confirmed as usually, and I was waiting for it within a week. After a week of waiting I got an email saying that my order stuck somewhere and for more detail, I should call them. I did and the result of all this mess was my order cancellation, additionally, they also blocked my account for no reason. They suck along with their CS!
think before ordering
I placed an order and picked a free shipping. I must say that the warehouse is kind of only 50 miles away from me and I was sure I'd get my order pretty soon. But no. It took 2 weeks. This is very very slow. You used a horse to get my order delivered? Though I think a horse will come much faster. Ok, that was a turtle probably.
I will never order from them. It's not worth it.
amazon forwarding my alledged unpaid balance from november 2015. one for 11$ and another for 9$
On 8/9/17 I tried to cash a check at kmart for $67.05 that was denied because I allegedly owed Amazon money from 2 transactions on November 12, 2015. I reviewed my transactions on line and the questionable date and both my transactions were approved. I received no email from the seller or from Amazon stating any different. I called Amazon on 8/9/17 and was ensured that my account was not delinquent and both those transactions went thru. They also confirmed that Amazon did not send me any email or other mail regarding nonpayment for these items. When asked why I was notified of these transactions not being approved I was told they were. Then why was my information sent to telecheck? No answers there. Did I mention it is 2017 and this is the first I am hearing of this? I don't have a problem paying for something if the payment didn't go through but I am also not going to be scammed out of my money because of an error made 2 years ago! Despite Amazon's assurance and my receipt confirmation that this was paid telecheck will still not resolve this account. I have filed a grievance with the BBB against them and you will be next. Since the problem started with Amazon then you need to fix it.

Completely disgusted with Amazon. Honestly, could have never expected this from Amazon. Without prior notice they deducted INR 6612 from my account which is no less than a cyber crime. Feeling robbed. Simply disgusted. I would say that a beggar earns in a much better way. Worse than thieves. They have found an easiest way to fool you. No value for customers.
things fell apart
I didn't expect I would ever have problems with Amazon customer service. I called them hoping they would solve my problem with a purchase. It took me a week to resolve it and during this time they called me with a lot of questions I had to constantly answer. The result of this mess was that I just simply canceled my order.
All I can say is that if it comes to customer service then just run away, I mean just order something different preferably from another place.
Liars from Amazon
I bought a PS4 game and didn't receive it. I sent a couple of emails and get replies with promises to help me. After 3 weeks of waiting they wrote to me saying that I had to choose a different game or if I wanted to refund, I would have to wait upto 3 to 5 weeks. Can you imagine how upset I was? Plus they could not resolve several small issues I had with delivery, so I feel like I was robbed by them. Next time I will order through a different website with a great reputation. All I get from Amazon looks like a huge lie...

I bought a Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 from Amazon and received it on the 3rd of June. After exploring the phone I found technical problems with the camera. I couldn’t take photos. I called to service to notify them about a broken item. They said that all I can do is to return my money instead of replacement.
After 8 days of an instant calling to service they eventually took the phone on 12th of June, and they got it on 14th on June. I called them again to make sure that everything is ok and when I can get the refund, but I got a negative response instead.
So it’s been almost 2 months and I still can’t get the refund. I place a lot of calls to customer care and each time they give me wrong information about crediting the amount into my account. I’m so tired of this…

I won a prize, facial cream, and agreed to pay the shipping cost for that ONLY. I was double charged for shipping plus charged $1.99 three times for products I didn't order! I realize these items have already been sent. I do NOTwant any more sent to me! My total shipping cost was $15.87. I only agreed for the shipping of 1 item for $4.95. Not sure I will order from here anymore.
I just ordered a Microsoft Windows CD-ROM game which is "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus". They are in big trouble. They should undo my cancelled order and have it shipped next week. The vendor I ordered my game is m&m surplus. I may not allow Amazon to cancel my order. I may file a complaint against Amazon or else.
six orders not received, with review inflation & horrible customer service
I've had sporadic problems with Amazon in the past. I have ordered from/through them on a weekly basis so I expect that. As I write this I have 6 orders days overdue and they reject my honest reviews on the matter, as part of their ever-increasing practices of review inflation. Do you ever wonder why the reviews at Amazon have become less and less trustworthy.
Most recently it was Tailwind, who has all 5 start reviews. I have not received the product I ordered from them but Amazon rejects my lower rated review. I know of another product, Curt roof mounted cargo baskets that have mostly great reviews, for good reason, they pay for them. They offer a 10% rebate for a 5 star review. This has been reported to Amazon and they do nothing. Just two examples.
These practices have become more and more commonplace on Amazon. Go take a look, if you have not, and you'll soon see it's obvious. I did business with them for so long because I trusted them. It is explicit now that they are no longer to be trusted.

So like many reviews (I see now...) on this particular item I received 40 loose batteries in a plain white box, as opposed to typical Duracell packaging. That's not too bad. More of an issue is the lack of the usual Duracell markings and expiration dates on the actual batteries. They are branded Duracell Duralock and have a corresponding mfr code (MN1500) but that's about it (other than indicating that they are made in China). Also, as another reviewer notes, these batteries have icons for both positive and negative poles, which are not usually seen on authentic Duracell batteries. I haven't checked the charge yet, but I am almost certain that these are knockoffs. Buyer beware.
I purchased these for my remote tv changers, work for one week then shuts down from low charge after one week time.

On March 27th I bought two Bodum 1543-01US Brazil French Press Coffee Maker, 3 Cup, 12 Oz, Black.
Why I bought two? Because they tend to be fragile. So the first one (glass) got broken by the cleaning lady so then i opened carefully the second one and to my surprise it began dripping, so i detached the glass from the plastic handle and base and there was a hole in the glass.
No one touched it before it came out of the box so please Amazon is not answering my complaints and I was hoping you would help me.

I was scammed out of $2000.00 on a
site on letgo. It was an add for an R V. I emailed them several times during the transaction. We agreed on the price ($2000.00). She said she was using Amazon to transport it and would pay for shipment. We agreed again. The invoice was sent from Amazon. The most authentic, with logo and all the important stuff. It even had at the bottom a statement about how trust worthy they were. Again as with letgo, it was a company I knew and thought I could trust. Well I fell hook line and sinker, they got my money and I got nothing. NO MINNIE WINNIE! I have a picture of the invoice and most all the emails. I hope this stops this person from scamming another old person, I am 69 and my husband is 73.
I am an author and published ebooks on Amazon. Once I started to get popular and made sales, for no reason Amazon shut down and blocked my account. I have been publishing for about a year and never had any complaints until I started making sales.

I have purchased a mobile from Amazon on 2nd Oct 2016 wherein there was offer going on of 15% cash back which was suppose to be credited in my account on 2nd Jan 2017. However till date I did not receive the cashback instead I have called up on their customer service thrice but no concrete revert received. All executive have only 1 thing to say that they will arrange a call back from concerned dept & they have escalated the matter still no revert. Feel like these offer are trap. Worst service. I will never recommend Amazon. I would like to rate amazon 0.

June 25th we ordered two " Sena long range Bluetooth intercom head phones", the in stock # was 7. We wanted these for 4th of July motorcycle ride.
We received one head set on June 29th and have not received the other as of July 8th. The quantity in stock is even more now than it was when we ordered. This is bull);/-$?, I guess the more money Mr. Jeff Bezos has the fuc((: less he gives a crap. I wish I had an address the shove these headphones up his rear.

I was charged 99.00 on my account for Amazon prime. Did not authorize the charge. My card was closed and the last 4 digits are 1248. I was checking my balance and it showed that I had a payment of the $99.00 charge, I feel like that they had no authorization from me to drawn this off of my card. I recently made a purchase on Amazon and used their free 30 day trial of Amazon Prime to save on shipping.
I had assumed that the service would extend a notice prior to the end of my thirty days to let me know that my card would be charged.
I assumed wrong!
The charge was made against my checking account one day before my social security check arrived and the bank charged me a $35 overdraft fee.
I called Amazon and cancelled my Prime membership, but was informed that it could take up to ten days before the money was restored to my account!
My complaint is this; how many people join Prime per day? How many people cancel each day? Whatever the number, multiply by $99 and that is the amount of interest free funds they have to "play" with every day.
I am going to check into a class action lawsuit to collect some funds for the money they are withholding.
I will confess to making a bad decision to save a few dollars, and not tracking my commitment closely enough to cancel in time.
This doesn't change the fact that on thousands of transactions per day Amazon has millions available for which it pays nothing.
I wish I could run a business like this. I would not have to make a profit on the products!
Hang on now people, I just went over and over with the POS at Amazon who lied all over the place regarding the 30-day FREE TRIAL. There is no mention of ANY fees, memberships, charges or a credit card needed near any of the advertising for this FREE 30-DAY TRIAL. I have all the transcripts and I am filing against the company right now with our Attorney General's office. I will also be filing for False Advertising because "Baiting" consumers with "FREE" and then demanding a credit card PRIOR to getting the FREE 30-day TRIAL is a "SWITCH" and also False Advertising.
BTW @Wine is Good - Sharayu repeatedly stated over and over that the auto renew would be turned off...except that this is a default by all companies and programmers. Also, my card never takes 10 days for any refund, that is Amazon taking advantage of interest rates they are gaining by holding onto the money. The only stupid thing here is your comment.
There are consumer protection laws in place to stop companies from taking advantage of consumers. The way you're writing, I'd bet you actually work for Amazon or one of their call centers. Sorry jctown, I wish you hadn't been taken advantage of, I've been burned enough that I now make sure everyone follows the laws to a "T". I suggest that you file a complaint with your Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. It's why they are there. I have the full transcript if they need what I got from my conversation tonight where they were trying to pull a fast one as well.
