I bought some lights through Amazon.ca, and the company said free shipping. When they charged my credit card, no shipping. But a few days later, they charged for shipping without notifying me.

The item shows that it was delivered but it was not. I'd assumed that my purchases would be insured but that does not seem to be the case. We have purchased a great deal from Amazon in the past two years and being ripped off is not something I take lightly. Item was purchased on May 11, 2017.

I received a defective item which seller refused to replace. I also tried to get a refund but seller said that it wasn't his responsibility. He also said that if I wasn't satisfied with my order I should have contacted the shipping company.
That was pretty obvious that he wasn't planning to give my money back or provide any help.
Then I reported him to Amazon, but they literally didn't care and said that there was nothing they could do. They said that I had to resolve the matter by discussing it with the seller I bought from.

We sell items through amazon prime. We ship our items to a amazon warehouse. Amazon sells and ships the item to the customer. We were recently returned an item from amazon that the customer somehow emerged in water (Item is not waterproof) amazon returned the item dripping wet to us and amazon will do nothing to help us to get reimbursement leaving us with a useless waterlogged product. Pathetic Service!
I paid to have a shower screen delivered the following day. I ordered the item via Amazon. The item never arrived. I was paying the plumber and the other tradesmen £400 per day to install me a bathroom, and this is the reason that I wanted this delivering the following day. It never arrived, and still has not arrived. I contacted the company to request that the item is not sent out, and they told me that the item had already been collected by the courier. It is now Sunday, and I have just received the following message from the company.
"Unfortunately, we do not have a collection service for unwanted items.
This will need to be returned back to us of your own accord I'm afraid, with a courier of your choice.

I have been hearing very bad things about this company, and there is a company called IBATH which has no connection to this company, and when I contacted them thinking this was the company I had ordered the item from, they told me that they had nothing to do with IBATHUK, and suggested that I have a look at the complaints that are on the internet about this company, and when I see what people have been writing they will never order from them again. I didn't receive help from amazon
Purchased a book and received the wrong one. After contacting the seller I was given a return address and was promised a replacement. Unfortunately I had to pay for return shipping because seller refused to pay for that.
Anyway I shipped the book back (to China) and few weeks later seller contacted me and told that he has received the package and was about to send a replacement. That was the last thing I heard from him, because he suddenly stopped replying. I then contacted Amazon and asked for assistance. Later I got a message from them where it was said that they had tried to contact the seller but failed. That was the only thing written in the message. Amazon pretty much didn't care and wasn't interested in helping me. I will not shop there again.

I was charged a monthly fee for Audible in early February, 2017, and I never subscribed for this. My credit card was charged without my permission. Furthermore, my account information shows that I am not subscribed to the service and I don't recall making any orders for Audible.

I used to buy from eBay in the past but there were too many scammers, so I decided to try Amazon. Up until now I was pretty satisfied with Amazon, didn't had any issues.
But unfortunately thins did not go so well with my last order.
Order didn't arrive and when I tried to contact the seller he didn't reply.
I tried to get some help from Amazon support, but they also ignored me!
I have no idea what is going on, but my item is still missing and they still don't reply.
I guess Amazon is the same as eBay. I'm done with their site, will not use it again!

I bought a book from Amazon and was supposed to get a free shipping. I paid for my book but did not get any confirmations.
One week later I decided to contact the seller to ask what was going on and I was shocked when he said that I did not pay for shipping. He said that shipping was not free and that he will not ship my item until I pay for shipping.
I refused and asked for a refund but he did not reply.

After I received my tax return I spent 1, 400 dollars on amazon. They took the 1, 400 out of my card then immediately froze my account until I had to verify who I was. kindle customer service and device
I am writing this review of the Fire Tablet with Alexa 7” display 8 GB. On March 16th 2016 I bought a new Kindle for $53 I am a student and on a limited budget but I used my Kindle for school. On August 2016 the Kindle died, the battery just overheated it was warm to the touch, so I called Amazon and they said they would send me a new one. A few days later the 2nd kindle appeared. On November 29th this kindle overheated and I called amazon again “well…. The warranty has expired (it only lasts for three months) but you can buy another one for $10” and send us your old one. I use my Kindle a lot so I bought a new one for $10. Then on March 14 2016 the 3rd kindle overheated. I called amazon again and they said, sorry but we can’t do anything about it, I asked them what I was supposed to do with a dead kindle and they said well you can sell it back for 5 dollars. When I asked to speak to their supervisor they put me on hold for a while then the supervisor hung up on me. Now, almost exactly a year later I have gone through three kindles each one had the same malfunction, they all overheated after about 3 months and now it’s my fault I am out $50 because Amazon’s 2015 kindle has a production flaw and the batteries overheat.

I never had any issued with Amazon and I was their long time customer and bought many things from them. That was until someone hacked my account and made several purchases!
When I found out about that I contacted Amazon right away and I was expecting them to help me, but they only said that they'll check what was going on. I doubt they ever did something, these people never bothered to contact me back. I had to cancel my card just to be sure that no one will steal my money.
Amazon is a well known company and as I said I was their loyal customer. I was very disappointed when they with their attitude showed me that they did not care and were not interested in helping me. I will not buy from them again!
sony cfds50 cd/tape/radio boombox
Purchased Sony Boombox from Amazon.ca August 1, 2016 and the unit broke down February 2017. Sony will not repair or replace the unit as the warranty is for 90 days. Amazon will not allow returns as it is past the date for return.
Now I am stuck with a defective unit that is not worth the money to get repaired as the unit cost only $80.00
I am surprised that Sony has stooped so low as to sell this kind of cheap equipment.
refund for ebooks I accidentally bought by "one click" mechanism
Spent 45 min with the company on phone last Friday, being transferred 3 times. Said I would get refund for these ebooks, but has not appeared on Amazon card. Emailed and whomever answered it says "I've checked the previous correspondence but I'm unable to get the information for which books you would like to receive the refund."
I am not spending another 45 min on phone. I want the refund, then delete Amazon account, and all dealings with Amazon forever.

On jan 21, I placed an order with this company. Now, for the fourth time, I get an email from them - - on the day delivery was due, informing me that the item has not yet shipped, and that my delivery date is some 2 or 3 weeks in the future; and requesting me approve the delay.
This is simply bad faith business. I understand this outfit is part of amazon. I am done ordering through you. I have searched and searched trying to contact someone for help; finally finding this site.
My time is valuable. You have wasted all of it you will waste.

Good man! Amazon are bullying scammers who let their power go to their head (a universal human nature pitfall, so more fool the idiot who thinks they're going to be immune from that, including organisations). Look at their pathetic 'deals' on Warehouse Deals, in the first place! A few% off (less than 10%) for NO WARRANTY WITH THE MANUFACTURER (no manufacturer I know, supports second-user warranty, which is what Amazon Warehouse usually is or the box wouldn't be open). The price is a joke for what you get and what you lose-out on versus buying new.
Amazon's warranty is what? Thirty days or something equally-lame. Devices should last up to and over 6 YEARS or more, if made well. The ONLY way we as consumers can save ourselves time and grief is by HARSHLY-rejecting abusive manufacturers - and their enablers in Retail. Like Amazon. "Sold by xxxxx and Fulfilled By Amazon" = Amazon off the hook legally when it comes to faulty goods (here in the UK, anyway). Why do you think they keep stuff in their warehouse "on behalf of" other manufacturers and retailers, instead of bulk-buy and sell it directly? Because it is a RISKY product, and they maybe already sold it directly, then had too many returns, so stopped, and put the risk onto others. The thing about rampant capitalism is it is rampant game theory. Game theory ultimately ends up in: "steal from the other man by force to reduce the risk he will do the same to you". Nice world we get from allowing that to run rampant, and Amazon are helping bring that world into reality. They think they're clever, too...

I was called 8/16 by this company for a position to become a Amazon Affiliate Consultant. Mr Howard Jackson the recruiter talked and explained the program and was very convincing that I could make good money at this. I felt that knowing it had the Amazon name it was going to be something good. I purchased the platinum package for $5700.00. They were good at first in replying to e-mails then it stopped. I e-mailed them on 2/20/17 to check on my account for tax purposes and that's when all e-mails were returned back to me. I then called all the numbers and they all have busy signals.

worst shipping, service rude rude behavior

1 week before i broght a watch for my mom(for her birthday gift) from amazon India (Order # [protected]),
and yesterday i received notification from amazon that it will deliver 13th February and it have a mobile number of amazon courier service(+[protected]).
i called him & asked when it will be delivered, he said by4.30PM (13th February), i reached town & wait for him, and wait more than 3 hours, he never come .
when i reached back to home, he called (at 8 PM), and asked where i am, i told him, i came back to home, and asked him to deliver my friends shop, he said he cant, i told him, i waited more than 3 hours, mistake is in his side.
he argued me over phone with bad words, and said, he is not going to deliver this product, he will return it .
again morning i got another message, the item ship back to seller, amazon appointed very worst delivery team, really really bad.

I have an issue with Amazon and it seems like no one from Amazon actually care and want to help. I bought a book from this store and it was a present for my sister. I was super excited about this purchased and couldn't wait for it. But time passed and there was no sign of my book, then I decided to contact the seller and asked him why was it taking so long but he didn't reply. That moment I felt that there was something strange going on so I contacted Amazon support and asked for help. They promised to help but nothing was done, they also stopped replying.
