my entire experience
When we checked in, the entire hotel smelled like an oil rig, there was methamphetamine paraphernalia just sitting in the hallway, the elevator was very very rickety, felt very unsafe, on top of when we got to our room, it still smelled like body odor. There was blood, boogers and hair on the bed, and when I went to go tell someone about it I ended up getting cussed at. We were treated very rudely on top of it being absolutely unlivable conditions.
This was the 3240 Broadway, KS City Missouri location

I stayed at the Americas Best Inn at 2929 Market Street Wilmington NC on 5/11/19 checked in at 2:44 pm went in to room # 130 to unpacked my luggage it smelled terrible I had to buy lysol wipes and Lysol spray to disinfect the room. Left the room after and went to the beach, returned to the room approximately 9pm that evening, as I was trying to sleep I felt something crawling on me when I got up to turn on the lights I seen roaches crawling, also in the bathroom of this establishment. As soon as I see daylight I got up and checked out of the hotel this was about 7:20. For this is unclean and unhealthy and I am requesting a refund before I take further action.

Desk clerk said there was a 25.00 dollar deposit for a service dog. She was very rude when we tried to explain the American's with disabilities act of 1990. She said just following the rules, turn me in (to ADA). I called the ADA and was told they would provide legal information and assistance with an attorney, that is not something I want to deal with, but this motel is flaunting breaking the law. My husband and I are pilot/escort drivers, we escort the windmill blades and associate with other drivers I don't want to give Americas Best a bad rep but I don't appreciate being discriminated because of a disability.
check in and lied to
I am currently a guest here at America's Best Value Inn in Cookeville off Jefferson Ave in Tennessee and I am in the construction business on May 9th approximately 7:15 a.m. I requested another room for some of my employees your representative upfront told me she had no rooms available which was not true because your parking lot was completely empty she tried to charge me double for two nights which I was okay with but told me that I wouldn't be able to check my employees in till 1 and I find that hard to believe when the parking lot is empty that she did not have a room available my company spends a lot of money in hotels I also had a crew of 10 showing up Sunday I will no longer be looking four rooms at any Americas Value Inn because of her actions unfair and they rip off that she tried to charge me for two nights but still would not let me check in until 2 when I was checking out at 8 this evening I understand policies as far as early check-in and I would have been okay with it if she would have just gave me a room and I would have paid for two nights but so she said I could not check until 2 I checked them into another hotel I myself will be checking out in the morning and will not be returning like I said before to any America's Best Value Inn because of her actions and I hope this problem is addressed please feel free to call me at [protected] if you have any concerns or questions

money being taken off my card when I never checked in
I was visiting and arrived at this hotel with card only. He wanted too charge me $112 instead of the price listed on the website which was $79 the owner charged my card twice and than told me it didn't go through which I knew was a lie because if it didn't go through the first time it wouldn't have asked for my signature and than say approved. The second time he asked me too slide it again I said it went through and I said but he insisted that I slide again that was when it declined because I only have $50 remaining on my card at this point so of course it was going too decline. He was really rude after that and I never got a refund he said it should be back on my card in five days since it says pending today (3 days) later it's no longer pending so my $112 is gone and the $54 transaction is still pending which is wrong too me because I never stayed there that was all the money I had, I traveled 4 1/2 hrs with my baby who's on oxygen and they still scammed me they didn't care at all. I have called them and they just act clueless like their not in the wrong

I arrived to the building due to fatigue of driving at 5am. I arrived to my room to find peeled paint and half clean room. But I didnt care about that I wanted to crash. I crashed and awoke 9 in the morning having to utilize the bathroom. To lift the toilet and find the toilet clogged filled with tissue and other people dung and the smell out of this world...

I have stayed at the hotel located in La Marque Texas for over a month. Paid up to date I checked out on Apr 27th @ 11:00am. Charges were made on my card that day at 3:30pm for the amt of 56.44 and again on the 29th for 56.44 at 3:30pm. My bank told me that the charges were sent through as preauthorization both times. I went to the hotel after speaking with my bank, the bank sent me the paperwork showing when all the information. The lady at the front desk call the front desk manager to discuss it with her and she said no charges were made when I had proof they were this was on the 29th at around 5:30pm. I waited for a call from the hotel this with an explanation and no one called me from the hotel today Apr 30th. So I called and they are saying that I still need to give them more information. Like a merchant number I don't have that and when I tried to get it my bank said I have to speak with the card department to get that and of course it was closed. I am very upset that the hotel is doing nothing to clear this up, the earnest is on me. So I filed a fraud claim with my bank. Because it was paid by my overdraft I was also charged 20.00 per transaction. If it is found that the activity was a fraud by the bank I will also sue for pain and suffering simply because the hotel is doing nothing to help resolve the issue, no one knows nothing. I need answers now I really don't think that is not a document at that hotel that does not show where preauthorization were sent in on the respective days, even stranger no charges were made on Apr 28th but we're made the next day and once I checked I never checked back in. Someone there is stealing and now I wonder how many other times it happened and I didn't realize. Each time I paid I got a receipt. No these times because I was not checked in there on those days and. No charges should have been . simply I want my money back immediately and some answers. I deserve that instead of the pretended they do not know what going on. I expect to hear from you by My 1st via email. Thank you.

April 29th I stayed at America's best value inn in New Boston Texas. Check out is at 11. At this exact time I was still in the room and my room. Manager Kate came and knocked on the door we asked if she could come back in a little while she instead barged into the room and yelled checkout is at 11 in a very racist manner. This was a serious invasion of privacy I am extremely offended by this woman's behavior. I was simply a normal guest that was a little late checking out and had no problem paying late fees.

Bed bugs. Bit me and my children. I've been here for 2 months. I've spent a total of 3, 400 they show me no remorse. have bites every where I will have a LAWSUIT on this company for the stress they are putting me through. However I will see how the ending result turns out. I've had to throw all my clothes and kids clothes away. Due to bedbugs. My truck even has bed bugs. There's cardboard for breakfast and piss for juice. Spoiled milk. Prostitution going on. I just need to set up a go fund me account. Thank you god bless.

I am being kicked out of a pet friendly motel because my dogs barked at 10:45 this morning.the manager or whome ever he is.Now my fiancee is at wrk n he told me to gt out n wait in the hot sun.I am appalled by this matter.i was tryin to be a good Tennant n nt say anything about how dirty the room was and roaches everywhere.I have never been treated w such disrespect in mylife.

My fiancée and I stay at this hotel once a week and have for several months to get a night away from the kids. This morning I was awakened before 7am by the room next door playing loud music. I went to the office to ask them to get the other guests to turn the music down. A few hours later housekeeping opens the door and comes in after I yelled go away twice. When I went to the front desk the manager insinuated I was a prostitute and told me I wasn't allowed to be on their property because my fiancée paid. I guess my fiancée didn't tell them I was staying too, which Was strange because the clerk knows us both. The manager was so rude and when I went home I cried because I know I don't look like a prostitute but because of the location it was assumed I was. I'm really really upset about this. I found out the clerk I complained to checked us out when I asked them to get the people next to us to turn the music down which was why the maid barged in. This hotel just lost good customer. The hotel used to be shady but they remodeled the rooms so I thought it was better. I didn't deserve to be treated like a prostitute. So wrong.
room condition
My family and I checked into America's Best Value Inn in Waukegan, Illinois on Thursday, April 25th. Upon arrival we were assigned a room and it was absolutely filthy. The carpets were disgusting, the trash was full, the shower had not been cleans, the beds were unmade and all the towels were on the floor. The next room we were assigned the commode OVERFLOWED onto the carpet and all over the bathroom floor. The doorknob was also MISSING! The manager at that time, brought up a bunch of towels and asked me to spread them onto the floor. He did not initially intend to move us without insistence. I asked to speak with the manager and was informed, within the same conversation, 1. He would be arriving after 8am; 2. He would not arrive at all that day; 3. A manager stepped out from behind the desk within a few minutes into the conversation after being informed of the aforementioned. I was informed that $10 off was the most adequate compensation because "none of this stuff was our fault". When asked to speak with someone in the corporate office I was provided with the number to guess reservations. This is absolutely unacceptable. My family and I should not have to accept sub-par accomodations
terrible customer service
I called to reserve a room and told the man i would be there at around 11-11:30, I asked if I was earlier/later if that would be okay and I was informed that that was fine, when I arrived to the hotel at 12:20 I was told my reservation was given away after waiting for around 15-20 minutes. This was after there was a phone to dial a number to get help and it was broken as well so we had to stand infront of the one way window to get the attention of someone in the back. After asking why i wasn't contacted I was informed that I was called off of two PERSONAL cellphone numbers by the employees and not the Americas best value inn number, I was also left a voicemail, which for getting my room given away seems ridiculous. These calls were recieved at 10:27 which seems they gave the room away beforehand as well. The guy was rude and no help with handling the situation and I've tried to talk to the manager( this was at the foxboro location on washington street) and the manager is on for 9-5 but has not been in once so I can contact him, I had no where to go last night and it was torrentially downpouring as well. I honestly expect better service than that, I'm in complete shock.

I stayed at America's Best Value Inn in Norway, MI March 23, 2019. I pre-paid for the room via Expedia, and saw on March 26th that the hotel had also charged me for the stay. I have been in correspondence with various staff since, and none of them are giving me answers other than, "I'll look into it." or "maybe your credit card company can help." The manager even told me via email (because she was at a conference) to call the front desk girl who said she didn't even have access to the emails, and had no idea how to resolve the issue. She said this is a new payment system for everyone so they're still learning. Well, ok, but you can still check transaction records and bank statements. I immediately sent a copy of MY bank statement showing both charges, and still nothing has been done. My emails and phone calls go days without being answered and no one seems to know how to do anything. I cannot find the contact information for the district/regional manager. All I want is my refund of $50.63

My family and I moved and stopped at an America's best in in sheridan Wyoming for the night. 1st We paid an outrageous price for 2 beds 98.00 2nd we had our pet which are part of our family. The dog could be loose in the room but the cats had to be in a kennel. We had feed them and let them stretch in the bathroom(which made it hard to use the bathroom) which maybe 4 foot square. Thats NOT pet friendly. I'll NEVER stay in your hotel ever again.

This room is disgusting...went to use the microwave and the knob fall off us and does not work...not sure about the electrical very sketchy...tv very poor...my daughter works at a best valve and you would never get a dirty room...plus they need new lamp shades...the bathmat is dirty had to put on towel in the bathtub to stand on. ..i am on my way home from Florida and I will likely never stand in a best valve again...

I booked the reservation at ABVI in El Centro due yo the the fact that the hotel is off the 8 freeway I was due to take my husband to work up in San Diego which I did and on my way back from dropping him off my husband calls me and notifies me that he has a key card so I asked him to call the front desk and let them know the situation the front desk agent refused to even cooperate with my husband. The room is under his name, mind you i made the resvervation i had the confirmation sent yo my email address. He refused to cooperate what's so ever to the point where he was arguing with me. He told my husband and myself he will not distribute the keycard and that there's nothing he can do about it. We both informed him of the situation and he still states there's nothing he can do and he refuses to give me a key card. Earlier that evrning I called myself to complain about the shower head in the bathroom it was not functional he came into the room he saw me in the room I'm the one that made the phone call I then proceed to tell him about that and I told him how can you go ahead and take my phone call in the complaint but he can't give me a key card when he saw me in the room he even tells me that that is a room issue that he could assist me on that but he can't give me the key card because I'm not the one on the reservation even though I made the reservation for two adults and I showed him the confirmation. he then goes on to tell me that that is the way it is and theres nothing he can and he will not give me a key card I then proceeded to let him know that I work in the hotel industry as a matter of fact I work for America's Best Value Inn Westmorland California so I know how to treat guests on a situation like this it is to the discretion of the front desk agents for them to give guest the key or not it's common sense good judgement of character if you are well trained which he admitted he did not have so I suggest that he get some new training so that he may treat his guest with hospitality the way America's Best Value Inn franchise expects it to be. I am requesting that America's Best Value Inn corporate office notify this hotel in El Centro California America's Best Value Inn and let them know that what he did is not the right way to go about it with paying guest and I expect the situation to be handled I will follow up with you to see what happens thank you for your time.
