America's Servicing Company [ASC] review: Bunch of crooks! Fee to pay mortgage by internet! 127

I agree with every complaint that has been lodged against ASC. They've been servicing our loan for over a year, it haw been a total nightmare. They are supposed to be doing a loan modification, we haven't gotten any correspondence from them, we always get a different person on the phone, it is frustrating and crazy. I AM ALL FOR A CLASS ACTION SUIT.

I too lost my home due to foreclosure. ASC would not help us in any way to stop this. I had open heart surgery and due to this was out of work for several months. They had charged us a 15.00 fee each month also to make our payment by phone. They said after a year they could offer us a lower interest rate which never happened. I think someone needs to file a lawsuit and maybe I will start.

AFS is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Our loan was sold to them and ever since has been our biggest nightmare. My husband and I tried over the course of two years to get them to help us with either a loan modification or at least give us a fixed ra te, but was turned down everytime. Last fall my husband became ill and was unable to work at his side job and eventually was unable to work at his main job . I contacted them to let them know that was why we were falling behind and also contacted hope for homeowners for assistance . My husband has since past away .I have contacted them repeatedly, asking if they could modify my loan and make it affordable for me to stay in my home, I wasn't able to make my payments for several months. I was told we may have a program, send us all of your info, income, expenses and a letter of your hardship, which I did . Then was told there is nothing available to me, because my income was too low. Once I recieved the life insurance, I informed them that I wanted to get current, if they could give me some sort of program or modification and they told me they are working on a modification for me . Five days later I recieved a foreclosure notice, I was so upset, I called them and they said they are still working on a modification and for me just to ignore the foreclosure notice, which is pretty scary for anyone, much less someone who is new to dealing with all of lifes situations alone. I spoke to A lawyer which convinced me that sending them all of the money in arrears was the way to go and it would stop the foreclosure . So I did just that . Yesterday, two weeks later I recieved the check back, saying the funds have to be certified and they also said my house remains in foreclosure and added on another late fee and the 16th isn't even here yet, so not sure how they fee came about . I think they are blood suckers, who thrive on peoples misfortunes and wish with all my heart I could get my loan away from them

Attention Eric Lopez, This is not a win or loose scenario! How dare you put these others down when you do not have all of the facts! We know of at least 19 of the Fraudulent Practices that are done repeatedly... plus more that is being implemented by your company...! So the next time you throw mud you better take another look, because WE (our group) believe you are now drowning in Quicksand! There shall be some Grand Jury Indictments that are to be handed down so WE wonder if you were planning on staying with the company or not ... you may want to ponder that! These homeowners are fighting for justice, not win or lose, when you fight the proper fight it shall lead to Victory with Honor ... plus more! You should be ashamed of yourself! THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE HAD TO DEAL WITH! I FEEL FOR ANY ONE WHO HAS DEALINGS WITH THEM. I AM GOING TO LOOSE MY HOME ANY DAY BECAUSE OF THIS PISS POOR EXCUSE OF A COMPANY. I DON'T SEE HOW THEY KEEP GETTING BY DOING PEOPLE THE WAY THEY ARE AND NOTHING IS BEING DONE WITH THEM. WE DIDN'T ASK FOR THEM TO TAK E OUR LOAN AND WHO GIVES THEM THE RIGHT. THE PRESIDENT IS GONNA WORK MIRACLES FOR THE PEOPLE IN DANGER OF LOOSING THEIR HOMES BUT I DON'T HEAR OF HIM DOING ANYTHING WITH THIS ONE COMPANY WHO HAS DONE SO MANY HARD WORKING AMERICANS WRONG.

After four years they filed bankruptcy papers with credit bureaus.
