Ophthalmologist doctor in dubai
I am very disappointment with one of ophthalmologist doc. Mr. Saleem (indian) in daira muteena branch in dubai.
I am using system 9 to 10 hours continually and my eye sight is week already. I visit 3 options for check up. I am having problem with reading, words are blur.
They suggest to visit specialist doctor and he will put drops in my eye and check. On 23th oct. Yesterday, I visited doc. Saleem, and he charged extra 80 dh. For eye check up and he didn't nothing special, he refused to use drops and said this is for children.
I am feeling headache and pain in my eyes all the time and visibility to clear. I couldn't read the board while eye check up. I said words are not clear but he said not clear don't matter, but u can read & suggest for me eye drops.
I am having company insurance and I took off that day and paid for my leave letter from doc. If I need rest and request for 2 days leave that what is his issue. He refused and said I don't want to create for my job.
Totally upset and disappointed his services. Why this type of doc sitting in this big panel. He is service provider and he should listen to patient unless no one asking his suggestion.
World heart day check up campaign
I visited aster clinic today international ckrty branch for the heart checkup campaign provided by my company AXA insurance and waited for more than an hour just for someone to bother to even look at my file. The people at the reception just left at 1PM and no one bothered to even check. Horrible service and pathetic staff. I will make sure that this goes on social media and feedback will be given to my company to report this to your management
Long waiting
For walk-in patient, even you are sick you have to wait more than 4 hours to meet the doctor.
They should allot some time for walk-in patients in between appointment timing.
They should not take continues appointments. Instead they should allot some gap between appointments.
But they simply book all appointments accept all walk-in by informing 1 hour waiting time but minimum it's taking 3-4 hours to see the doctor.
Staff of dr. Sachin upadhyay, cardiologist
I visited Dr. Sachin Upadhyaya, Cardiologist on 12th Sept 2019 with severe pain in my chest & arm. He prescribed a echo for the heart among some other tests. I got SMS approval for the Echo from the insurance company on 13th Sept &they asked us to contact Aster Hospital for appointment for Echo. I tried several times today to call staff of Dr. Sachin to...
Read full review of Aster Medical Centre and 2 commentsX ray required for headache in order to approve medical leave
Dear Aster,
I am writing regarding a doctor Mohamed Nazar Moopan from Aster Medical Centre - Al Muntazah.
It happened 14 Sept around 445pm. I told the doctor I was having a bad headache and was unable to sleep the night before because of that. He asked that I go for a X Ray test to determine if it was sinus.
I was quite hesistant as I was wondering why it is required as I didn't have sinus it was only headache. So I went back to him saying I did not require the x Ray as I do not have sinus and only headache. And I will require sick leave on that day as I did not felt I was fit to work as my job is a pilot I did not want to take the risk of not feeling well to go work with a headache. He declined to give me sick leave saying he is doubtful I am sick as I do not wish to take the x-Ray and hence he could not conclude I was sick. He said he could only issue me Panadol for relief.
I could not understand how this will be professional as my job involves many lives at stake and because of this I had to head down to another clinic just because of the sick leave that I need to supply to my company.
I am concerned about the professionalism of such doctors as many professionals like me might have to face waiting hours at the clinic already sick having to go around searching for another doctor just because his assumptions of me feigning illness just because I felt that the x Ray was unnecessary. I also explained to him clearly the reason why I felt the x Ray was unnecessary as I do not have any symptoms of sinus and that I felt that it might be harmful to my health on top of that I will have to pay for the X-ray.
Services
Very poor customer service I must say. After consultation with doctor, there was some blood test prescribed. The correspondent from nurse station said, it requires approval from insurance provider and they will inform us about it. But after three days there is no call back from Aster. And I need to follow up multiple times and without any success to reach the nurse station. After several follow up then I got to know that the tests are approved and I can go to the clinic. There is no proactive customer service. I will not recommend anyone to go to Aster.
Reception staff
Reception staff at Aster Clinic, Nuaimiah branch, Ajman (United arab emirates) have blocked my Insurance number on their system. They said that because in my last visit to their clinic, almost 10 days ago, i did not gave them my medical file and i did not paid the consultation fee. I told them that no one asked me to submit my file, nor any one asked me about any fee. I met doctor and i left the clinic in front of their eyes. why they did not stopped me ? how would i know that i should submit my medical file to clinic and i suppose to pay any fee?
Now today i went to same clinic for treatment of mild fever and flu, and they refused to treat me. they said that we have blocked your Insurance number and we can not treat you unless you bring your medical file. And i don't have that file any more with me, the file is lost. i am very much disappointed with their behavior. My name is Faisal Khan. My contact number is +[protected], Sharjah, U.A.E
Bad attitude and ignorance
I come in with wife to meet doctor dr heena zarin after check up she to get an appointment for doctor asif and regarding that go reception and talk with receptionists and that receptionist send us to doctor Fibin faz and we great him in a very nice way and without greeting he start talking very rude and where is your token and where is your file I was holding my file with me but he don't listen us and saying how you without a token we explain him that doctor we went to reception and they send us here to talk to you regarding reference for doctor asif but he still ignore us and very rude to us is not the way you treat your patients like this you can talk with them in polite and manner way even you don't want to take them we been waiting almost half an hour for him and he didn't take us we go back and we do new process but last not least I am very disappointed about that we hop you guys will let them know or else I always see doctor azad in first class lounge I will talk with him
Thanks and best regards
Very very use less...
This aster clinc is one of the use less clinic ever i seen i went in aster alquoaz branch and i check up after long waiting than they said they will call for the report i follow up for 5 times in more than 2 month they didnt send any report. Better dubai goverment collapse this type of clinic. Useless and the staff all from kerela only chatting with each order 0 customer service.
I want to tell all people never ever go in aster you will waste your time and money.
general practitioner
Hello,
I have a Category A, Emirates Airlines Insurance.
Dr Chinnu the GP and generally the management at Aster UMC is extremely unprofessional.
I question Dr Chinnu's professional integrity . She and the Clinic management failed to organize on time the vaccinations that were required for my son's US University requirements.
Very disappointed with Aster and hence going back to MEDICLINIC!
aster cmi hospital subjecting patient to all possible tests
My dad has been asked to get admitted for a cough which is the most strangest thing I have ever seen.
Now the hospital is running all possible tests which are no way related to cough. And with each test resulting normal, they are pushing for some more.
This is so evident that this hospital has adopted fraudulent ways of making money.
Feels like we have been held hostage by this hospital.
doctor service
I have visited the Aster Jubilee Clinic in Bur Dubai on Wednesday 3rd july 2019 for Eye Doctor to get a test on my eyes but i was a walk in customer W 308 room 13 Dr. Anurag

ent appointment
I visited Aster 3times for ear checkup this week but doctor refused to see every time and they sent me back every time from reception I believe Aster has no quality and care for patients, you should shutdown from UAE or atleast shutdown your king Faisal street Branch in Sharjah or at least close down ENT section because you don't see patients and don't book appointment for weeks,
I tried to book appointment 2 weeks ahead but they said you can go without appointment doctor will see you, so I went there only to face rejection. I can understand 1/2 times doctor may be busy but every time after being there in clinic 1 hour prior to last time doctor still don't see.
Please also train your staff how to treat visiting patients they are one of the worst people in my life in medical centers always trying to get rid of patients.
thermometer
Aster hospital being an overrated brand in the hospital lead, the least service you must be providing is an accurate thermometer! My 5 year old is admitted in the hospital and each time they check his temperature it shows less than 1 degree Celsius which makes a huge impact. Since we have our own thermometer and we are absolutely sure of it because of his high body temperature. When it is actually 38.8 the hospital thermometer displays 37.7 Celsius. They provide the meds and observations based on their readings. This is absolutely not acceptable! Disappointing hospital experience as many more unpleasant incidents during our admission.
was not provided sick leave while I was having loose motion
Hello,
I am Shadab Alam, Cpr No : [protected], working with SMS W.L.L company. I was suffering from lose motion on 21/04/2019 from evening 6Pm. I had 10-12 lose motion till morning 22/04/2019.
I went to pharmacy and buy some Electrolyte and medicines(flygal)
As there are timing for our medical vehicle I.e 9 am & 5 Pm. I went to doc at 5 6 Pm
I told the doctor whole whole issue. He gave me some saline and normal checkups. Then after I asked doctor to give me sick leave. He refused and told me give stool after he find that their is daheria then he will issue leave I said fine but wasn't able to do the stool test as I was already in medicine to stop my lose motion/daheria. I told the doc the same but he refused and tell me that after he see the stool test then only will give the leave. I said okey! But to come next day I need again take a leave so either u have to provide me with a another day leave and i shall give the test. He refused the next day leave.
Now either it I have to take a non paid leave + other allowances will be deducted for a month for that.
Or the doc has to provide me leave with of 23/04/2019. Either in regards of the sick leave if anything happens to me in case while I am working and i went unconscious then the doctor shall be accountable for it.
I need a response in my mail id: [protected]@yahoo.com
Pic of medicine I am uploading.

general doctor
The worst clinic ever!
First, inside its freezing cold the people who are waiting there for 1 hour will get more sick then they are.
Doctor Asmaa is extremly rude with the patient. While i was teling her that some medicines that i was taking didin't help me she answered me with : "Then google it, why are u comming here"
When i asked her for a sick leave for the next day she sarcasticaly answered me that i can have only one day.
Very bad treatment and worst experience ever, i dont reccomend anyone to visit this clinic.
