I was down with fever, throat infection, cough and went to Aster Medical Centre (International City branch), on 30th Aug'2011 evening, but was closed due to Eid-Al-Fitr. I managed to get antibiotics and fludrex from a neary by pharmacy as most of the clinic were closed on that day due to the festive occasion. Next day since the fever did not come down, I visited again Aster Medical Centre (International City) and Dr. Jimmy Thomas (General Practitioner) attended me. I showed him the antibiotics and fludrex and asked if these were the right medicine and told him that the fever did not come down. He told me to continue the same medicine. I asked him to prescribe a cough syrup since I also had cough, he said no need for taking the cough syrup. He did not check how bad was the throat infection or if I had any congestion, overall he did not check me at all. I asked him to give me a sick leave as I still had temperature but he denied saying that the treatment is not triggered by the clinic so he cannot give me a Sick Leave. When I asked him if he expects me to go to work with temperature, he said yes. He's carelessness and cruel attitude shocked me. I told him if I had not said that I am taking some antibiotics, then he would prescribe me the same and he would give me sick leave then, and he said yes. I couldnt understand the logic of such a response from a Doctor.
I reported to the customer care department regading this experience; and the response I got from them was that, it is entirely upto the Doctor to decide to give a sick leave. That's all. I told them if the doctor is not in a good mood or he behaves irresponsibly with patients, if there is nothing that can be done.. then atleast I should not visit or recommend this place to any one. I will never stop to complain about this place to any one or at any site, because I felt humiliated by this doctor's un-professional attitude. that true is is not a good doctor ..only good with all his mallu friends tell them good stories and treat them well
For sure Aster has doctors who behave as if they own Aster and need to ensure Aster makes a lot of money whatsoever. I have had very bad experiences with Aster and have seen doctors rushing to finish with patients so that they can accomodate more people. Also the doctors ensure maximum money is sqeezed out from even the non insurance patients by writing unnecessary procedures.

Horrible Treatment with Aster - they only survive on the past laurels. Greedy and prescribes medicines for the sake of starting more clinics and pharmacies. I wont recommend the clinic, it is like a fish market,
Dear Aster Medical Team,
Me ( Kishor K Pillai ) and my wife (Indu Rajan ) approached Aster discovery garden for a medical checkup . As per the insurance process we were asked to consult doctor and get the medical report for the laboratory testing.
Laboratory testing prescribed by the doctor are 1) lipid profile 2) blood sugar 3) Hyperthyroidism.
For insurance claim Dr. Kiran S. Tippannavar mentioned these disease as preexisting.
Since it is a new medical insurance for Indu Rajan, we requested to provide a medical certificate saying these are the test suggested by the doctor and nothing preexisting with respect to the prescribed tests.
For Nuero we used to consult Dr. Mahendra Ramadas, but 1st time we consulted the Dr. Kiran S. Tippannavar and mentioned these disease as preexisting.
Still now we are not sure about we have positive or negative of the said diseases.
Requesting Aster insurance claim department to have a look on the above cases.

I was consulting dr latha bimal at aster qusais gyenechology.she seemed very warm at d begining.when i concieved her attitude changed and she was indifferent. I had a preterm labr at 23 weeks and when i called she was unavailable.i lost my baby not knowing it was labour pain.when we consultedher after the delivery she was very casual.and said there is no secific reason for this.my husband had called her on d day it happened but she behaved as if she did not know about it.the drs at aster qusais are minting machines sitting just for the sake of money.i wil never suggest anybody to dr.latha bimal at aster for gyenech.not at all commited to the patients god help her patients...
I had flu, Soar throat, Headache and muscle pain and the doctor not even checked my throat and give me a prescription for stomach flu. I visited there for the sake of Trying maybe the Al khail branch is better than I have visited the Aster in Abu Hail and Naif. 😂 the doctor said take the pills and come back after two days. Mabrook she will use me for her test? She talks like she doesnt have knowledge about that medicine. 😂 Please my dear friends, Never bring ur family here.
Visited Dr anum Saif, Al satwa Branch, worst doctor I have ever seen.instead of treating the patient she judging the patient and interfering in family matter without any decency. She doesn't know anything about me and my family and she simply insulted me and my mother.pls take action. Worst ever doctor

I was feel mot good my health like fever, flu and body pain i was go al muteena branch aster clinic but doctor varun is didn't check me properly and his attitude is so rude, sorry to say but don't like the service of Dubai deira al muteena branch.
Dr Heena zarin is really bad behavior with patient. My wife 2 time went their but her way of speaking and treating patient no good. Even she is not telling the medical history. Due to this i ll never come again for gyne at Aster
On 9 April 2020 at round 3:00 pm l ordered medicine till now 10 April 2020 didn't come
