Dear Avis Corporation,
I would like to commend you for two of your employees at the Avis National Call Center. These two employees, Roni (employee # 31660) and Yuli (employee # 21550) both did an outstanding job assisting me with a car rental for my daughter.
On August 9, 2013, I telephoned Avis @[protected] and spoke to Roni in an attempt to make a rental reservation for my daughter Gabriella utilizing our membership with USAA. Gabriella is twenty two years old. Roni, took the time to look up the agreement with Avis and USAA and informed me that a provision/waiver does exist that allows to rent a car to the age of twenty one. She further informed me that not only the under the age twenty five driver waiver existed but also allows for a renter over the age of twenty one to utilize a debit card to obtain a rental. With this information I made the reservation for her in Raleigh NC and Roni emailed both my daughter and I the confirmation #43202861US2.
Upon arrival at the Raleigh Durham airport (RDU) my daughter was initially denied the rental due to her being under-age twenty five. The employee stated that Avis would waive the under twenty five driver fee but that she needed a major credit card in her name to rent the car. This was devastating to her because she was enroute to visit her husband at Fort Bragg and didn’t know how she was going to get there. I explained to the employee that I had spoken to Roni and she had explained the debit card waiver in addition to the under-age driver provision. She continued to insist that it was Avis’ policy not to accept debit cards from anyone under the age of twenty five and would verify this with the office manager.
As we waited for their reply I placed a call to the Avis call center and spoke with Yuli. I explained the situation to her and she said she would check on it. A few minutes later she came back on line and confirmed the information I had mentioned and also said she could call the local office and offer her assistance. While on the phone with Yuli I received a message from my daughter that the rental had been approved utilizing the debit card.
This letter is not to complain about the employee in North Carolina but to compliment the two employees that went over, what I consider their normal responsibilities. It would have been just as easy to blow me off and not assist me. Please convey my sincerest gratitude to these two ladies. This is the reason that I have remained a loyal customer to Avis for thirty years. I don’t go anywhere else unless Avis is not available. You may contact me on the phone #'s listed in my profile.
Thank you,
Benedict A. Wooten

Last Thursday, January 25, 2018, your Avis Agent, Michael, at Hilo Airport gave excellent service to my friend, Mark Simcox, and myself.
Michael was very courteous and friendly and exceeded our expectations for rent-a-car service. With so many people complaining about all kinds of services, we want to be sure to mention when someone gives extraordinary treatment to customers. Thank you.

I would like to compliment an Avis agent at the Ohare car rental in Chicago . We had a very complicated problem between the car rental and the travel agency that booked it in Austria. The agent, Taghi Tolooi, was so patient and helpful with us that I had to write to compliment him on his fine service and the good face that he presents for his company, Avis. Claudette
I just have to leave a remark on one of your employees named Josh. He is at the Winston Salem NC Smith Reynolds Airport location. He is AMAZING ! He will even come in on his day off to help a customer. I can not tell you what it means to have someone like that in this job position ! Great work Avis in hiring this young man !
There is a worker at your location in hartford ct, bradley airport, he was so kind and helped us find the window switches on the jeep we rented as jeep decided they dont need window control on the door but on the dashboard above the shifter, go figure, anyway this employee actually said he works for Richards employment agency in east granby ct, for avis/budget/payless his name was jay and kudos for a job well done
