I purchased a pair of Hearts of Palm Capri pants on the online website. I paid
$13.20 plus 1.56 sales tax. I paid 7:00 for shipping. My debit card was charged
$21.92 on March 4th, 2020. When the pants arrived the front of the legs were dirty. I chose to return them to the store instead of trying to send them back.
The sales clerk reimbursed me $14.32. I bought some other items while I was
there. I purchased another pair of capri's, same color but they were too small and I had to take them back. When I went back to the store to return them, the clerk said that we could order them and have them shipped to the store and I wouldn't have to pay for the shipping. We tried to order and it kept saying that I had to pay shipping. I didn't order because, I shouldn't have to pay shipping if I am picking up at the store. I told the manager that I should get reimbursed the $7.00 that I paid for the shipping of the previous pants because they arrived dirty.

I've walked into this store about 4 times in the past five years. I've literally never seen anything I really liked. I think I bought a Vera Bradly wallet once & I still didn't even love that product. Anyways, Bealls Austell, GA is always my last resort when I'm shopping because I was bored at home or avoiding homework, or looking at every near store...

Got a beall's card and used one time. Paid the card off in full the first bill. Got a late fee. Called and got a final pay off. Paid it and still got another late fee. I thought a pay off was a pay off. Humans gave a final pay off and computer added another late fee because it did not get posted till the next day.

I went to the Dunn Ave. Bealls outlet and had 100.00 worth of stuff, the lady behind the counter said we don't take that Bealls card. I explained I used it before. She said I don't know we don't take it. I walk outside to call the credit card company and they said "I don't know why they aren't taking it". I go back in and she's talking to a coworker and ignoring me after sometime I chime in and say bealls credit services is on the phone. She says we don't take it and starts talking to the coworker again. I again say they are on the phone do you want to talk to them, she then irritated goes up to a different co worker who says I will check then the manager comes out. She is clearly aggravated. takes the card rings one thing up to see if it works ask for my id and says sign. So I reply so it's taking it? I tell her how unprofessional her employee was and she reply's do you want the other stuff. I said yes and again say how unprofessional her employee was and she literally says nothing so I said Don't worry I will call corporate she then says don't be like that didn't I come out to help you? Then starts making small talk. Really? Too Late! You should be ashamed of yourself.
I don't know the financials but I can guarantee it's down. People will tolerate a lot with good customer service. Chick-Fil-A isn't successful because of the food, It's the great customer service.

I went to Bells outlet in Casselberry, FL on Friday Sept 6, 2019 and the cashier (Andrew) was ringing up my merchandise. The total was coming up to over $200.00 on clothes which I was aware of. The counter was full of merchandise so I had in my hands a pair of shoes waiting for him to finish and clear the counter so I could place the shoes on the counter given that there was no space and he was also very slow and had quite a line and waiting customers. Which he didn't seemed to care at all. He then quietly called over on his headset "code red"which I found strange and a manager quickly came by. By then I had placed the shoes on the counter in which she asked him quietly did she pay? and he nodded yes. It was unbelievable unprofessional given I was spending over $200.00 on clothing. Did he really assume I was going to walk out with a pair of shoes worth $9.99 when I had just spent over $200.00 on clothes!?!? ...If any branch manager from this location read this. Please train your staff to properly identify real thieves. A thief doesn't spend over $200.00 on merchandise and then walks out with a pair of shoes worth $9.99 so please train your staff to use common sense! I certainly will not be returning to this location.
unethical behavior
On 8/9/19 I went to Bealls to buy so clothing and the lady that was checking me out was not very professional. She apparently had just broke her finger nail and was biting it while she was checking me out. She was talking to one of her coworkers about another coworker while she was ringing me up. When she got done with my transaction she just walked away, she didn't hand me my bag, she didn't tell me she was done ringing me up. Also while i was walking around the mall I saw blood drops on my bag that she had given me. And someone else blood is nasty. I could get a disease. I don't know what the clients number is but her name was Phyllis.

Return of shipping cost
I purchased a pair of shoes on-line for my vacation. Yeah! vacation starts tomorrow. I received the shoes on Friday as expected. Opened them on Saturday and discovered that there were two different sizes in the box. Oh darn, there so cute. One shoe is a six and the other an eight. Unfortunately, I have to return theses mismatched shoes before I go on my three week vacation. I returned them to Bealls in PSL, FL. The Saint Lucie West store, today (Sunday). They advised me that I would only get the return amount for the shoes, not the shipping charge of six dollars. Furthermore, I was told to call Bealls customer service and explain the issue so that they could handle it.. I called, but the customer service desk is closed on Sundays. That is why I am putting my complaint in writing.
Hopefully I've given you all of the information that you will need to investigate this issue. I'm looking for a refund of the shipping cost of $6.00, A check or new shoes size 6 please can be mailed to the above address.

I am a snowbird and left Florida on April 13, 2019 . I only use my credit card in Florida. The last invoice I received in Canada was for the month of March which I paid it in full immediately. I received no further invoices to date. We take our financial obligations very seriously and always pay our bills in full and never carry a balance.
On July 9th I received a call from Comenity Bank advising that my account was three months in arrears and multiple penalties were charged. I was shocked as I believed I paid for everything in my March bill and that was why I did not received further invoices. I threatened to cancel my credit card because it was Bealls obligation to send the invoice. I received nothing...not by mail, not by e mail and no one attempted to call me regarding the deliquent account. The person at Comenity Bank agreed to cancel all the penalties and I immediately paid the remaining amount owing. However, I note that there are still outstanding amounts appearing on my account because the penalties were not cancelled.
Furthermore this incident has placed a blemish on my sterling credit record and it takes 3 years before it is expunged.
As a resolution I would appreciate that all penalties be cancelled otherwise I am cancelling my card.
I would appreciate speaking with the Ombudsman for Bealls and would like them to communicate with me. Thank You

I called your outlet store in Orange City today May 16th, 2019 at 4:05 pm and was told by the lady that answered that you had a pair of Boca Classic khaki cargo shorts in light brown size 40 with velcro closing cargo pockets. So I drove out from the Lake Mary area to get them. When I arrived 50 minutes later there were two ladies working the cash registers and one lady was at lunch. So I asked them where were these cargo shorts? Both ladies told me they did not talk to me on the phone and there was a third lady who was at lunch who they said I probably talked to. The older taller lady with gray hair checked the floor and could not find a pair of Boca Classics in any size. At my request she checked to see if the pair was set aside and did not find any. So I asked her to contact the lady at lunch and she said that she would not do that because she was at lunch and said rudely there was nothing more she could do.
I drove all the way out from Lake Mary on the advice of one of your Sales Ladies and none of your employees seem to care.

Store 583 have two employees that's excluded from the rules. One can walk out when ever she feels like it. Another one is buddy buddy with the managers. She do what and act accordingly as if she's the boss. All the rules should apply to everyone not just some of the employees. Supervisor spread rumors trying to get things started. If it's a problem between supervisors why do the associations know about them messy.To be totally honest I wish y'all could do a undercover boss at this store, so y'all could see all the grimy stuff that's goes on!

I ordered a pair of Jellypop shoes and received the wrong size. I ordered again and received the wrong size for a second time. I speak with customer service and receive a shipping label to send them back and place an order for the correct size over the phone with customer service. The orders pends for 7 days until I complain multiple times and receive an email saying my order has been cancelled to still not receive the correct size. I finally just ordered them from someone else. Not surprised if I don't even receive my refund for the two other pairs I sent back.

I was employed from October to December (Seasonal for $8.25 when Big Lots and others were like $9.50).
I spent over $250. for BLACK SHOES, BLACK PANTS and RED SHIRTS only to be treated like some nit-wit. I never missed a day of work and never was late for those crazy shifts.
Saturday, Dec. 29th, I was scheduled to work and naturally there's lots of returns AFTER CHRISTMAS and people come in for "SALES". There were two cashiers on the clock...but for some reason, LEA SAWYER and DIANE DIRKENS decided to put the other cashier to scan items...while customers hit the dressing rooms messing them up and JUST ME running the cash register...for which I did as pleasantly as I could. When I'd rang up and worked the line down...LEA comes and says..OK FRANCES (the other cashier scanning), YOU TAKE THE REGISTERS NOW. I said..."Gee Thanks, there's no one checking out now"...and LEA says...AND YOU KATHY, GET OUT HERE AND GET THIS STORE CLEANED UP, start with the dressing rooms and then get these clothes picked up and this place straightened up"...and there was the other cashier...DOING? (Watching me)...THAT WAS Humiliating to me...then when It was time for me to clock out, I had gotten all that done...and I felt like I'd run a marathon..and LEA and Diane were laughing because I was in full gear...and LEA said in front of DIANE, "We're making you a strong cashier" as she made a gesture of pumping iron...and I gave her a unpleased look as though I weren't amused...
OH WHERE WAS NICOLE THE MANAGER? On Vacation! Knowing that I had given her a heads up about DIANE mainly...
I told Nicole I'd heard Diane making negative comments about me and that she said I wasn't SUPERVISOR material ..and then after their THANKSGIVING dinner in the break room that I wasn't a part of...DIANE told another supervisor she ought to make me or another cashier (Montana who also quit) CLEAN UP AFTER THEM...and had that other Supervisor said YEAH THAT WOULD BE FUNNY, I am satisfied, I'd had to do that ...I hadn't even gone back there...
So then..the District Manager had expressed she'd liked for me to train as a supervisor I think...(2nd hand info from Nicole) and I got the impression I'd been met with GREAT HOSTILITY from the clique amongst them...
Then Dec 30th, I showed up for my 1:00 p.m. shift and FRANCES left for lunch and I was scheduled from 5 to 6 and when LEA said to go...in a ULTIMATUM WAY, at 2:00 I told her I ate before I got to work and she was so nasty...WELL YOU AREN"T GETTING ONE LATER SO TAKE IT OR LEAVE It..YOU WON"T GET PAID FOR THAT HOUR...
And After that SATURDAY...I felt like it was just best to exit...I Could feel the months of what felt like HAZING rather than SUPERVISING coming to a head...Clearly there was a resentment in the store there...
My District Manager reached out to me but I didn't return the call because I was afraid I'd word something wrong...I know I wouldn't work in a store with LEA SAWYER AND DIANE DIRKENS and I knew NICOLE knew the tension was there...and I told Nicole that if they got in their areas of Supervising (Accessories for Lea and Bed & Bath area for DIANE), and I stayed behind cashiering and all that, there shouldn't be and issue...I Honestly thought I was doing what was required of me with the BEALLS OUTLET policies...and when you have expressed the tension with the Supervisors and then this happens, WHAT DO YOU DO?
I had another JOB INTERVIEW and he indicated that BEALLS OUTLET wouldn't rehire me..."REALLY>"?
What about the incident when DIANE humiliated me by announcing to the customers in line that I had taken a womans clothes out of the dressing room and she had OVER 6 ITEMS IN THE DRESSING ROOM...and she saw me picking up everything and DIANE Starts laughing at me and tells everyone..."SHE TOOK THAT WOMANS CLOTHES WHEN SHE WAS GETTING MORE THINGS TO TRY ON!" Why didn't she say..."Ma'am, you're only allowed 6 items in the dressing room?"
Then the Honduran (Fanny) who is bi-lingual said that FRANCES the Puerto Rican and her should have preference for being bilingual...WELL, if they were hired for speaking SPANISH, why didn't they get scheduled when the majority of SPANISH people SHOP ON SUNDAY and EVENINGS? There's "NO" Spanish people scheduled on SUNDAYS and EVENINGS when MOST OF THE SPANISH CUSTOMERS SHOP?
Then there's the SCANNING ISSUES...Damaging out good stuff for personal purchases or perhaps some of their friends to come in and buy? But that's just from what I PERCEIVED and couldn't be proven...
So, I'd like to think that BEALLS OUTLET would consider me as a GOOD EMPLOYEE and not hold LEA and DIANE and NICOLES clique against me...because I Was a good and reliable employee ...I just don't like being hounded...and told it was to make me a STRONG CASHIER...because I had been under the impression THE DISTRICT MANAGER Liked me...but I would have felt like me against them had I spoken out..
I think this website is for customers and not employees but I just needed a place to vent...THANK YOU and MY APOLOGIES for my abrupt departure...but I thought I was doing a GREAT JOB for BEALLS OUTLET... I am concerned about a future employer calling for a reference..especially after all the money spent for clothes I no longer can use..

My experience working at store 658 from October to December 30th was upsetting. Lea Sawyer and Diane Dirrkens made my work experience hell! They said it was to make me a STRONG CASHIER. I was bawled out several occasions about the employee holds for purchases, once for assisting a woman in reference to her hold. Once when I was cashiering, Diane ordered me on Christmas Eve to start moving certain priced items to certain tables and when I questioned what tables, she snapped.."just read the signs for God's sake" as she rolled her eyes. Then I was put in the stockroom to unload a truck with 300+ items or however it's labeled, I went to clock in and I was bawled out..."...if you're scheduled from 1 to 2:00 for lunch, you go then and don't clock in before"...so Dec. 30th, I was scheduled to work 1 to 8 Sunday..so my break was 5 to 6...and at 2:08, Leah ordered me to go on break.. I said, I had lunch before I came..and I got snapped up...well you won't be getting a break unless you go now..so take it or leave it...so after my Hellish Saturday with Diane and Lea, I decided it was time for me to let them find someone they felt would better suit them. I am 57 and Lea is in her 20s and she was rude. I hope I can find another job. I enjoyed most of the customers and I was proposed to take a Supervisor position but was told Diane wasn't letting that happen and others were opposed..
I gave Bealls Outlet my best and was degraded by the Supervisors...at 57, I felt more like they were hazing than supervising...
I was told several times by Nicole she was going to start training me..and never did..instead I was challenged by Supervisors Lea and D. Dirrkens.
There's more..but it's enough. After all, my first day had been Out 21st.

Cashier named Martin at the Bealls in Amarillo outlet mall does not know what he is doing. I went in to return 5 baby outfits that were gifts for different sizes. He completely messed up on my order and I only left with 2 of my items because he messed up and did something else Very upset especially since it was not my fault and I only went in for a simple exchange.
