Been sitting in section red for 40 minutes without a nurse saying anything, two of them just keep walking by helping the other sections.
Assuming there is supposed to be a 3rd nurse on the floor but regardless two of the nurses are just looking at us letting us sit here waiting to be seen, have sat here for 40 minutes without being seen or talked to and there was a lady unhappy here waiting in section red before me... What's the point of scheduling an apt if you can't follow it...

I have recently been deferred from BioLife and I believe that I've been wrongly deferred. I've asked the plasma center to send me documentation of my history and the reason why I've been deferred and they refuse to.
I'm an African American and I've experienced a lot of roughness in regards to my experiences. I've had a phlebotomist stab me extremely hard and that caused issues in my arm for weeks. I've been slit by the needle when it's removed from my arm. There have been many experiences I've had with predominantly Caucasian phlebotomists and I'm being blamed for the bruises and pain on my end.
I've noticed that I haven't had much issues with minority phlebotomists and a few older Caucasian phlebotomists. Statistically, black individuals are given much rougher treatment than their Caucasian counterparts in the medical field.
I'm extremely disappointed because if I had not mentioned the pain I was in by asking for an ice pack, I wouldn't have been deferred. The issue is they'd rather me be silent about my pain than improve their staff.
Reference
I am a returning donor and I had someone use me as a reference for the $100 referral bonus and they completed their 2 donations and haven't received money so I came up the the plasma location and asked them about it and they told me they messed it up and didn't link him to my account when he filled out the reference card and made sure everything was good to go before he donated and they are telling me no one ever linked him to my account so now he has to donate two more times to get the $100 referral bonus I don't see how that's accurate information he shouldn't have to donate 4 times before I get my $100 for a mistake they made and I talked to a supervisor and he's telling me there's nothing he can do I want my $100 for his two donations because this is ridiculous I should not have to wait for something we've already done
Desired outcome: Want my $100 referral bonus

Technician by the name of Hannah at the Harvard and 51st location
This is the third time I have had Hannah defer me in a row first time was my temperature second time was because she dropped the blood sample kit on the floor and then told me my harmatica was too low third time in a row she defers me again because my hermetica is too low which I know is b******* I ate two huge salad yesterday I had a bunch of beans in chili I had four pieces of breaded chicken plus bread so I know damn well hermetica is just fine I have lost out on so much money because of her plus now my pay schedule is all screwed up and today alone to donation hurt people in front of me that Hannah checked their hermetica was too low as well seems funny how four people in a row got deferred because their hermetica is too low to
Desired outcome: But appreciate being paid for at least today being that she doesn't know what she's doing

Not receiving funds
I got there at 4:10 my appointment was at 4:15. I got my physical and then was seated in a chair at about 4:45pm. The section was not ready for me. The bed had not been wiped down and all the martials had to be brought over. The girl left me 3 times to ask for help. No one could help her and then she stuck me. I had a hematoma so she stopped and went to switch placed with another person. Now 5:15pm they gave me an icepack and I left. When I got home I was only paid 20 dollars when I had 800 dollar coupon. This is super upsetting to me because I did everything on my end. You guys failed me and then would not pay me the 90 I deserved. On top of this I tried to talk to Jessica to fix the situation she was rude and un helpful. She had no solutions for going forward and would do nothing to help me. She was just telling me that all the customers have to be treated the same. I have along history of donating for you with out an issue. I would like someone to fix the payment for me and talk to Jessica about how to address customers and training her staff
Desired outcome: 70 dollars
I went to the Mounds View Minnesota location, got checked in within 15min. then went to my section, there were 2 sec. open on my side, I sat there for 1/2hr. & still haven't been stuck. When I got up to leave thus no plazma received from a "Customer", (I see us as customers because Biolife profits from our body fuild & their employees have jobs) the line for check-in had grown substantially but I didn't see any more staff rolling in! The Staff (workers) are GREAT! Happy & kind, the management sucks! My previous attempt to donate also resulted in walk out (no plazma given) due to having to wait for 3 others ahead of me who had been waiting 40min. to see a nurse. My need was simply to be ok'd to donate. Today they radioed the nurse to speed things up but dropped the ball on the floor. Look, I truley don't need the money, I'm close & had an allotted span of time to go pick up a couple "quick"? bucks. But when Biolife Mounds View Minnesota Is So Grossly Under Staffed even @ non busy times I personally have far too many other things I'd rather do with my time. Maybe if the Management at Biolife Mounds View Minnesota viewed "Customers" as such rather than fortunate souls who are blessed with a place to get a pay check from...maybe just maybe things could improve. God Bless & I truley hope this helps so any future "Paying Customers" (paying with their time of course) of yours might continue patronizing your fine facilities.
Worker
Mustafffa a male lied on me. Other women have told me he has said inappropriate things. I think him lying had to do with my race. I have been donating 25 years. Not donating anymore. Tired of racist people. He mad because I said if you gone talk you need to listen. He asked if I was hurting and I said yes.. Racist employeee. Why was I reprimanded. Karma i...

The staff seems more concerned with their personal discussions than taking care of any patient needs with one patient here we have been now waiting for proximately 30 minutes tough for them to finish what best little is like a just a happy time conference I hear about it laughing and saying they're going to but they don't give a damn error about it's going to wait and they have a good crowd and you can come back tomorrow they don't give a damn so that's what I'm I'm just say that
No personal info provide. I have no doubt the staff would attempt to retaliate

Coupons
I have wanted to donate again for the past few months but still havent received couponf for 10 day lapse . I'm sorry but I will not donate for only 20$. My time alone is worth more than that. I received a notification on my phone that said I I could get 700 because they hadn't seen me in a while but when I opened BioLife app it disappeared and BioLife won't apply the coupon for me when I explain in person. Please email me couponme
Desired outcome: Please email coupon to me

Gross incompetence
BioLife has refused to compensate me for my plasma. They have also prevented me from donating at any of their competitors because they lost my blood test. They refuse to give me a way to contact anyone above a shift manager and claim to not know how to contact anyone from corporate (if true that makes this the most shady and shadowy organization). No one...

To whom it may concern, I, Christopher scheduled an appointment at Staples Mill Rd center for first time visit. Shown disregard during process so I asked for transparency which was not given. Did not sign my station to station card, no explanation of procedure and given blatant disregard especially after I asked to use the restroom. Told not to come back there was an incident involving staff on video with me cussing, threatening, an aggressive behavior. (May 26 2021) I asked for another scheduled appointment in which I was told I'm permenately differed and police presence needed. (June 19th 2021). I whole heartedly disagree with actions an outcome of staff. Please be advised.
Desired outcome: Copy of incident reports to show to my Case manager, advocate, and Liason. Due process is my entitlement.
100 percent correct GROSS INCOMPETENCE. WORST PATIENT CARE EVER! JUST A BUNCH OF SELF ABSORBED PEOPLE WITH A GOD COMPLEX
Come back bonus
I switched where I give plasma because of deferals for protien levels. I received an email yestetday for a bonus if I returned. The initial donation had to be by June 12th, Saturday. The issue: When I left it was because of the deferral and how often it happened. In order for me to give again, my first visit has to be an SPE only. Of course, that will not be back in time for me to meet the initial donation deadline. Looks like I'm staying with Plasma Biological
Desired outcome: Wiuld like a bonus that I could actually use.
Dishonest with promotion
When I signed up initially, I was told I'd get $750 after 8 donations as long as donations are within 30 days of each other. But after my first donation, I got a call that my protein level was low and I should come back for blood checks. I did this 2 or 3 times, all within 30 days of each other. By the time my protein levels were high enough, the days between my first donation and second donation we're beyond the 30 days so I'm no longer eligible for the promotion. I explain that I came each time within the required 30 days for the tests, and the required protein level was beyond my control, but they say it's not their problem.
Donating
When I first started here I had to wait 5 hours to donate and when I return I would get in pretty quick. Now at least this location does not care about its returning donors. I work graveyards and come here after work with the little time I have but lately they have been only pushing through new donors and leaving the returns to sit in line for hours past their appointment times. This is ridiculous! I finally got fed up and talked to a manager who basically said new donors come first. So I will find a new company to go to that actually cares about their patients and will write complaints to everyone I can
Desired outcome: Figure something out about how to help return donors
Told me new donors have to wait return donors take priority then labeled me aggressive and threatening when I asked questions about process wait times. Had to sit for sit long without any explanation that when nurse finally showed I asked to use lavatory and got kicked out for cursing upon return an asking about the next step in process. I was under the impression plasma is needed but yet and still no priorities for it here. Sure would love a copy if there write to post online. Lol
Appointment times vs. time in line
Please fix the appointment scheduling. I can block out a period of 3 hours if I'm told that an 11:00 appointment will last until 2:00. There is NO reason however, that it should take an entire day to make a donation. I schedule an appointment for 9:00 in the morning, and the line is so long that I can't make it in the doors until noon. Then there's another...

You have 50 people just standing in line with only 3-4 sections open. I have been here for a 9:50am appointment for 5 hours! That is 4 hours standing in line. Something needs to be done about this. You can't expect people to come back if one appointment is going to take half your day! We have kids and babysitters aren't cheap! I drive 45 minutes just to...

I'm a new donor at BioLife. I do this to
Make a positive difference in a person's life. I have donated plasma for the last couple of years at CSL, but a recent move puts me right across the street from bio-life. I'm complaining about the fact that I've been turned down twice in the 1 month I've been going there for not having an appointment. My job is very up in the air making appts difficult CSL would take everyone no matter what. Even 1 minute before closing they would take people. If there were 10, they would take them, employees stay late. At CSL the priority was collecting plasma donations for like saving medications & procedures. At BioLife it seems to be closing as soon as possible w/little urgency to the bigger picture & greater good. Everyone there is professional & nice and the place is clean. There just needs to be a refocus of why we're all there.

I would like to know, where I call, to talk to somebody about listening the amount of plasma you take pertaining to the weight of the donor. I've talked to my local BioLife, and they just shrug it off.
But I have very valid concerns and I need you know a few things about this before I donate again.
Donors at the 145-155 weight, ALREADY KNOW- what I'm talking about. I need answers. Thank you
I was deferred for life due to having a work tool on my belt
I've been donating at the Bellingham wa facility for the last 4 yrs. I carry a knife on my belt in a sheath for work purposes, I forget that it's on my person, it's like leaving the house without my wallet. I was warned twice not to have it in the facility. The third time I entered the facility I realized so I left it outside off property under a big...

For over a month I have attempted to log in to my account. When it will not accept my password, they offer to reset it, which changes nothing. This is a problem whether I am using a desktop browser (have tried several different browsers and removed privacy settings), or the app. I have left no less than four messages with zero response. I even left a couple voicemails for my local center. The only way to schedule an appointment is to literally physically go into the center and talk to a person there to schedule it. Please look at the app reviews to see I am not alone in this problem and it should have been resolved a long time ago.
Desired outcome: Allow clients to login to their accounts, now.
