Today, Friday 9/20, I called out of work for Saturday am. I had been trying for a week and a half to find another employee to cover my shift or swap with their shift. No one I asked could help. I then ask HR to help me with the shift change, they told me I had to speak with my Supervisor Ashley Adams. I texted my supervisor since she was working in another store all week. She told me to make sure I called the store to call out.
When I called out, the store manager Ashley Merritt picked up the phone and I told her what was going on. She then told me "why should I put you on the schedule at all since you call out or try to change shifts once a month very 2 months". I was appalled! I've been with the club for 2 years since it opened and to be treated with disrespect and no regard for peoples' life changes, is discourteous.
