I went in to dealer 11Sep19 to purchase a RV. Salesman Angel Duran I have no problem with. He was very courteous and took a lot of time showing me RVs. Your finance Dept. On the other hand needs a lot of improvement. Joe Lanasa is rude and doesnt care about YOUR customers. While I was there in the 11th, I was on the phone with my insurance company. He I...

My 2017 Thor ACE has leaked since the day I bought it. Camping World has never fixed the issue and always blames the customer, even for a manufacturer's defect. It took a month to get a service appointment, then another month of waiting until the appointment. My motorhome has been in Camping World for 6 weeks and they haven't even looked at it and don't return phone calls. Three months now without using my 100k lemon. I would never recommend Camping World to anyone.
the way items are being rung up for purchase
I thought I purchased a 74.00 power cable, what I actually bought was a 43.00 power cable, a 29.00 membership and a 1.63 bucket. I was told they were giving away buckets. Cable did not work and only thing they would refund was the 43.00 cable. No refunds on memberships. I promise you I will never set foot in any of your stores again, ever. I will spend a large part of my camping trips describing your business and it will not be good. I am just glad you only got me for less than 100.00. You will not get another chance.
thor / freedom traveler
Bought MH in april and was excited about continuing our motorhoming adventures. We needed to downsize because our last MH was a 40 foot and we thought we would enjoy a smaller rig with my wife and I bnoth feeling comfortable driving.
We took on maiden voyage and had some minor problems with coach which service department documented and assured us they would take care of and we could be back out
They did not get all repairs done in less than 30 days and we had another trip to go on. After that trip we took the rig back to get 4 items done that still needed finishing along with 2 more serious items.. The dash consol came undone and it was dangerous for us to continue so we had to hire a contractor to secure for our 1500 mile trip back home, along with our awning completely breaking. We took the rig back in on June 23rd. we are still without our rig. Both Thor and Camping World are very poor at customer service and satisfaction from my point. They are great at point of sale but very poor at accountibility for themselves...Will never use again for anything!
repairs, theft and complacency and duration of repairs
I am writing with the hopes this will help others in making decisions concerning doing ANY business with Camping World. My husband had sideswiped a stop sign which scratched the whole side of our camper. Also, when he got it home, it fell off of the stabilizer bar and bent it. I wanted it fixed so we called another dealer in Jan of 2019 and they said it would be March before they could fix it. So we went to another. They gave us an estimate and also certified that our air conditioner was fine, because we had questions about it. I though the estimate was little high. so we then took it to Camping World beginning March 2019. BOY! What a mistake. I also wanted the top washed and sealed. Now this camper was new. We had just purchased it(2018) in May of 2018. We were told they would have no problem fixing it. We waited and we waited. Each time we called, they said they were waiting on parts. We Finally went to pick it up the first of June (THREE MONTHS later), the new decals were all wrinkled and warped from being sloppily applied, the roof did not even look clean AND they had dented the side with the fork lift. We were told that the decals were warped from sitting outside in the sun there at the dealership. WHAT a stupid response! We told them that was not acceptable. So here we go again! Oh "It will be ready in a short time". Ha Ha! We waited and waited. Communication being terrible, we called and called. Finally, we picked it up, took it home, only to discover the door frame was not properly finished from putting on a new panel, the sink leaked (which had not done previously) and the air conditioner no longer worked. Our sewer hose was missing and our hydraulic jack was gone. We take it back. We were told to expect it in 4 days. No communication. Finally, we were called mid July and told they would fix the air conditioner. So we wait and we wait. When I finally call the 3rd week of August I was told it was ready. NO ONE had called me. We go to pick it up and NOW the other side had been quite damaged by the fork lift AGAIN. This time, we told them they had to buy the whole camper. I told them I was getting a lawyer and I called the headquarters and spoke with the resolution manager Shawn. He and Susan were very nice. Camping World of Columbia SC signed the papers and I am STILL waiting for my check on August 30, 2019. Plus, I discovered another missing item from my storage.
WARNING Do not do business with CAMPING WORLD!
By the way, I have lost valuable time and money on taxes and insurance by not being able to use my camper for the 6 months Camping World has had it-ALL during camping season!
service agreements cancellations
We purchased a 2019 travel trailer from Camping World of North Charleston, SC in May 2019. We notified Camping World and the providers on May 23, 2019, in writing, of our intent to cancel the Travel Trailer Service Agreement, the Exterior/Interior Protection Plan and the Good Sam Tire & Wheel Service Contract. The dealership staff attitude turned dismissive toward us at that time.
We were notified on June 6, 2019 that the cancellations were approved. As of today, no refunds have been made to the lien holder bank. The contract requires Camping World to pay a certain amount each day beyond the initial refund amount for their delays. They are in breach of the contract and obviously could care less.
I recommend that anyone considering purchasing an RV to look elsewhere. Their customer service is horrible and I wish that we would have taken the advice of the people that have posted complaints. Do yourself a favor and do not buy from Camping world.

Re: Service appointment Feb 13, 2018 order # 85121
We stopped in to correct a black water tank fitting leak. I had previously located the leak. A drain pipe had become disconnected. I spoke with Susan Willett at the service desk. She was very pleasant. She explained that first it would be $145 to locate the problem . I questioned the $145 fee since I explained what the problem was. She talked with other service people to find out what the service code would be, which was 1.5 hrs labor to repair (to tighten a clamp). I explained again it is a pipe that has come loose and it required putting the pipe into the rubber fitting and tighten the hose clamp, a 1/2 hr job at the most. She explained that she had no control of the fee's. Leaving me very frustrated by being taken advantage of and being legally robbed! In addition there are charges of shipping and handling of $20.00 and $65.25 for shop supplies? Would you please explain those fee's. Our total bill $454.09 for this repair that was not repaired!
Feb 15, 2018 we are now in the Great Cyprus Park. There is a very strong urine smell around our RV. You can smell it 100's of feet down wind. This is very embarrassing! Reservations for this trip were made a year in advance so we are on a tight time schedule if we have to cancel we will be charged a fee. I called Camping World to speak to a service manager. I spoke with service manager Johnathan he knows of no one personally on the east coast that he can recommend for repair. If we get the repair done, send him the invoice and he will reimburse us. So we are on our own. My self and another camper blocked one side of the RV raising it 6" which allowed him to get underneath and see what was leaking. He found the cause a large rubber boot was loose and the clamp was not tight. Since then no leaking.
We only ask that you do an honest job at a fair price. My wife and I have been self employed all of our working careers owning several successful business's. Our business experience has taught us a good word travels slow but a bad experience travels fast. The RV community relies on others experiences when on the road.
new 2019 coleman 1805 camper-8/22/19
Dear Sirs:
We bought a new camper in January, 2019. Found it at Gander Outdoors in Augusta Ga, close to where we live. We were told we would have to go to Columbia, SC to do paperwork and pickup camper, since Augusta store didn't have a Finance or Service area set up yet.
We are new to camping, buying campers, and didn't check to be sure the paperwork on our new camper had the correct Vin number on it. Thought the dealership would verify all that. Got everything done and went home.
Went to local tag office with paperwork we were given and registered trailer and got new tag from that paperwork.in April got a call from Summer in Columbia that the VIN number (4YTD1802XKM936601) was incorrect on the paperwork we signed and she needed new paperwork done. She emailed it, we did it and mailed it back. It got lost in mail, so she sent it by Fedex and we signed again and returned it.
Once I got the correct Vin number (4YTD18022KM937239) off the new paperwork, I got the insurance with Good Sam corrected to show the correct vin. Now have been in contact with the Georgia Dept of Revenue, and they STILL haven't received the corrected paperwork from Columbia. They just say the title was returned to Columbia in April. My registration renewal still has the incorrect Vin on it, and I can't pay it timely (due two days ago) since it is incorrect.
Please intervene with Columbia on my behalf and get this fixed!
Sincerely,
Alyce Maurine Resch

dealership using every tactic they can to not refund the remainder of the good sams club seven year extended warrantees we paid cash for in 2017!
We sold our 2016 Jayco Greyhawk RV in April 2019 this year because my husband suffered a stroke and is no longer able to drive. I called them April 10th to ask what I needed to do to initiate the Ext. Warrantee refund and received an email with the cancellation forms attached. I filled them out and signed them and returned them to Camping World Oklahoma City. I emailed a few days later and asked what the timeline was for a refund. I was told via email by Justin that the forms had been sent and it would be 4 to 6 weeks to receive a check. Phone calls were never returned. It is now August and Justin has transferred to a Camping World in Richmond VA. I finally called Good Sams who informed me that my call was the first contact they had received regarding the warrantee cancellation request. No they had NOT received any paperwork. Then I emailed Justin at Camping World, OKC to find out what was going on. I was told that their finance person was on vacation so it would probably be next Friday when the check would be mailed. So, we waited, and waited. Another couple of weeks went by and I called Good Sam's again and they had not received the paperwork and still had not heard from Camping World OKC. (My contact had said he had called Good Sam's - He had Not and made yet another promise the check would be mailed ‘next week' ) Good Sams asked me to send in the forms with our signatures along with copies of all the emails sent between Justin at Camping World and myself. Once they received them they would send a request for Camping World OKC to sign the forms as their signatures were required for processing. It's been two weeks since that call to Good Sams. I'm calling them Monday for a status update. Good Sams said if they can't get Camping World to sign the forms they would send a letter to Corporate CAmping World. So I'm back to waiting but I am done waiting much longer for this to be resolved and CW OKC to refund our money.

Hopefully higher management gets this. I had a minor accident with my TT in October of '18. In Nov. I took my rv to camping world, Wentzville, MO. Your service rep did an estimate. I went to the location, after receiving a joint check from the ins. co., and he said he would order the parts. waited 6 weeks to hear from him. Did not so I called him. He stated, for the first time, that he needed the check before ordering parts. I was out of state at the time, so per his instructions a text photo would do. I did that. weeks later he said he did not receive the text. I did it again. Weeks later I called in and was informed that he no longer was in service. My new service rep took some time, weeks, to investigate and get info from previous service guy. I went to the location only to be told by Ryan, new rep, that we need to start over. Nothing had been ordered. I had the check w/ me so he took a copy and stated he would gett parts ordered. Again weeks later I'm told that they were having trouble getting parts for my 2014 rv. Once again after calling Ryan told me that they could not figure out what color the decals were. For close to 8 weeks I would send photos to him that he says he had not received.
By this time it is July '19, and I have had enough of camping world. I had my insurance company reissue a check to another camper sales.
The part that will interest you most is that I traded my TT in and bought a $55K TT. That was my intention with CW.
The bottom line is this location maanaged to completely alienate a customer, lost a substantial sale and future parts and accessories purchases. You did gain an individual who will never purchase even a paper clip from CW. And will happily pass my all I know of CW to everyone and anyone that listens.
Zero attempt was made to even slightly satisfy a customer. I assume that if CW wishes its business to thrive you will do something about this.
catalog orders
I have bee trying to call Camping World to resolve a matter for a few weeks now and I am getting no where except on hold for hours at a time.
I purchased a sleep number bed and was told I could try it out for 90 days and if I did not like it I could return it to the nearest store.
the order date was April 29, order number 2593271, I was told I had 90 day to sleep on it and now I want to return it as it is causing me bad back problems that I never had before.
all I want to do is return the mattress and get my money back thats all I want. I was told I could, now I can't? why?
I want to talk to a supervisor about my problem please.
repair/service
On June 1, 2019, I took my 2014 Thor Tuscany 45LT to Camping World in Byron, Georgia for service on my Aqua Hot 400D. Prior to taking my coach in, I talked with the Service Department to insure they had qualified people to service my Aqua hot, I was assured that they could service my Aqua Hot.
When I arrived at Camping World, I informed the intake Service Advisor, George Mosley that my Aqua Hot was producing hot water and the front blower was blowing hot air. The problem was that the bedroom and rear bath blower was not blowing out hot air.
On three separate occasions I was contacted and was told my coach had been repaired. After picking up my coach, I discovered that nothing was working, no hot water and the heaters were not working. I took my coach back to Camping World and the service personnel advised that they needed to replace blower number 2, so I ordered a pump from Aqua Hot, however before ordering the pump I called Elizebeth at Camping World and instructed her to inform the service tech. not to throw away my parts to be replaced. Elizebeth informed me she had to the service techs. not to throw away the parts taken off my coach.
After replacing the circulation pump I was to that I needed a new Fluid Level Sensor. So I order a Fluid Level Sensor and it was put on. After replacing the circulation pump and Fluid Level Sensor, the Aqua Hot still did not work. After paying for the repair ($746.12) and after buying a new pump and sensor, the total coast to me was $1, 227.98. Finally, the Service Manager, Ms. Shanna told me that there was nothing else they could do.
So, on [protected], I located an authorized Aqua Hot Ser. Center at National Indoor RV in Lawrenceville, GA. The service tech. advised that Camping World did not replace pump two, replaced pump one instead. So I had to order another pump to replace the good pump camping world had thrown away to replace the number two pump that was bad. The cost of the new pump was $194.14.
In order to resolve my complaint, I would like Camping Work reimburse me for my labor cost paid to Camping World and parts. Request Camping World reimburse me $1, 227.98
I bought a used motorhome from Camping World in April. I was moving from one state to another and since I paid cash, I asked it to be registered in the state of new address. I was told ok; however, the title and bill of sale were filled out with old address , of which I have no access to. Now I can not register my purchased RV. Camping World told me tough. Camping World also transferred an incorrect VIN number, which caused insurance to be cancelled, then, resigned, and had to wait 10 more days. Now i am told that i bought it a month ago and nothing they can do. This is bad business and why do you follow financing guidelines for cash sales? Camping World does not stand on their word.
finance/salesman supervisor rude and not obnoxious
I waited for days inside the store to try and make a deal on a used Class C camper. Once we finally were able to negotiate prices, I was handed an abnormal paper with no break down of cost. I didn't agree with the monthly payment, and the finance guy "Sal" started getting abusive verbally. I continued to try and negotiate the options with the payment we agreed on, and when we couldn't come to the agreement, "Sal" started verbally throwing me out the door, and showed such anger I thought he might try something physical. It made me nervous to the point that I'm afraid to ever go back to this store. I hope there are cameras to show this hostility and something is done about it without legal assistance. I shop camping world all the time, but can not set foot back in this one out of fear. No customer should be verbally abused while trying to make a major purchase.
service department
I purchase a 2019 pioneer heartland from you guys in May 18. When I got it home I started to put stuff in it and I notice the outlet under the sink was falling out I pushed it back in and figured I will take it out once make sure everything else was ok before I took it back to get fixed. So I went to go take it out the second weekend in June and found out the rear door dead bolt tumbler was broke called to see if I can get it fixed before I left on my trip. When I called they told me soonest they could get it in was July 16th. I asked since I live close could I bring it by to see if they need to order any parts so when I drop it off the could fix it with out waiting I was told no. So I go July 16 to drop it off and go in and see the service department and the guy came out looked at it said nope can't fix it will be 3 weeks One week to get it cover by warranty and 2 weeks for parts then he will call and I will have to bring it back. So I asked if they could fix the outlet and he said pull up to the shop someone will come out to look at it, hour later it's finally done to find out that they have to order and new outlet and I have to wait for that to come in. Now I was fine with all this but I go in my camper for the first time tonight to find that they didn't ever bother trying to put the outlet back some what it was hanging by the wires, the cover was thrown on the ground and the mechanic never shut the cabinet so all the stuff fell out all over the floor. For being a brand new camper I understand there is problem and I am ok with that but it's bad that I have been waiting over and month to get this stuff fixed and it still isn't and will Probly be another month or 2 before they can get me back in. I should have never bought the trailer from the start and I regret it ever since. Should have know something fish with you guys when I go to look at it at 6 at night and your sales people are there but there is no finance people there to even run your credit or talk numbers with you. I'm a mechanic and know all about warranty and ordering parts and door handle and out let does not take 2 weeks to come in when you have both sitting on the shelf bc I looked at them while I waited I should have just fixed it my self

afternoon
I am emailing your office in effort to resolve a large problem I have with your summerfield fl location..before I take the next step to contact insurance fraud commission. Me rv was in a small accident, and as I have always done I brought it to camping world. Well this time I am very upset about first the body work that was billed out and not done...then the very dismissive attitude of your service manager of this store...the work that was billed to my insurance company was supposed to be completed, but was not short cuts were taken things weren't replaced merely filled with two part epoxy. Awning arm was supposed to be replaced but they just put my old damaged arm back on coach. Holes were just left open from old awning arm.not sealed. I would like a reply from your office asap, fl work order # 51361

screwed up warranty work on decals and gouged gel coat
I just filled out a form and submitted it, do I have to do this again? This is rediculous. I want Camping World to absorb the $1000 out of my pocket over the $2000 the warranty pays them for gouging the gel coat on my 2017 Road Warrior purchased there 2 years ago and putting on decals that don't line up. I've lost over $600 for a spot I haven't been able to stay in because they've had the RV for over a month.
Still stuck with a useless leaking camper. Bossier, La. Camping World was unsuccessful in repairs. Now it is back in service for the 3rd time on the same issue that we originally had from the purchase. We have been paying for a camper we can't even use.
****WARNING STAY AWAY FROM CAMPING WORLD*****
They do not value their customers once you drive away! We purchased this unit in November of 2018 at Camping World Tyler, Texas and had a leak at the time and was assured it would be fixed through there rigorous testing. In June of 2019 we had to take it back to Tyler, Tx service department for the same leak. It stayed in there shop for three months due to having to replace the whole water damaged slide from a seal being installed incorrectly(not to mention when the replaced the slide they left screws to long and shredded our vinyl flooring). We were so dissatisfied with Camping World customer service they couldn't even communicate with us on what was going on. So now it has happed again the leaking in the same spot. This time we took it to another Camping World in Bossier, La and we are having trouble with the manufacturer warranty wanting to cover the same issue not fixed right the 2nd time. We reached out to the General Manager(Brandon Whitham Tyler, Tx)and wanted a buyback on our camper but he came back with some low ball amount that is way lower than what is owed so now we are stuck with useless camper.
full service warranty
My son, Michael S. Guzzo, bought a brand new Coleman from Camping World and they are having trouble with their shower and AC unit. They paid extra for the warranty and tried to get these items fixed but we're told that they were not covered! The Camping World Center Salesman lied to my son and just talked him into the warranty for extra commission! Please contact my son, Michael S. Guzzo and fiance, Mandi Bell. They need these items fixed immediately! They are travelling thru Texas and the heat is tremendous and unbareable! Camping World promised my son that these items would be covered now follow thru with your promise and fix them please! Here is Michael's contact number, [protected]. And, Mandis number is [protected]. My contact number is [protected] and name is Joanna Nichols, Mother.
Quick response would be appreciated.

service
I have never had such poor customer service as my travel trailer is still waiting to be seen after 8 weeks of sitting into camping World yard. Every time I call it's the same answer "we have it scheduled for Monday ". I will be filing a BBB report to get my camper back and fixed as warranted. Can't seem to find a corporate number to complain and I'm over...

Paid in full for camper, said experienced driver would deliver to site in N.C. and set up and level. Driver that delivered said he knew nothing about it several times. He backed up camper with jacks down, possibly warping jacks, tried to level camper while still attached to his truck, now self leveling computer will not work, jacks are down and camper is not level. Table top was never screwed on base and was in the floor when delivered. Two leaks already found, one hot water heater. I have made numerous calls to location, have been told several times they will get someone here to fix it and nothing done. I left a message for the general manager this morning and no response, three messages left for the service manager and no response. Camper was delivered on Thursday, July 12 and is my only home. Please find someone to help resolve these problems that were no fault of mine.
