Canada Post about my post

On 24 of August I was parceled a watch to India. At that time they accepted and told me that it would be delivered within 2-3weeks. But it is not delivered yet and now they told me that we don’t accept jewellery if you don’t then why you accept it first. I want my parcel back. If it is not possible then i want refund of my watch and your courier service. It is about $250-300.I am not happy with your this kind of service.

Canada Post priority post

I just got off the phone with one of your post office reps, she informed me that a refund would be mailed out for the late delivery of my priority package. I have no problem with getting a refund for services not provided but I do have a problem with Canada Post withholding the GST amount that I paid for said services. How is that you (Canada Post) can withhold taxes even if you don't even get to keep them and yet the customer is paying taxes for no service provided at all. Can you please respond to this inquiry asap by with either a phone call from a Supervisor to [protected] or an email to [protected]@yahoo.ca. I'm sure I'm not the first person to ask why taxes are not refunded for a so called complete refund from Canada post but I am sure that you will rectify this matter in a timely fashion. My tracking number is [protected] and my claim number provided by Canada Post id [protected].
Thank You

Canada Post false attempted delivery at my house for internet purchases deliveries.

This has happened to me MANY, MANY, MANY, MANY, times over the past 12 years and it is still continuing to this day. Canada Post drivers making fake delivery attempts to my home (by minivan) and the card in my mailbox states that no one was home at attempted time of delivery. That is NOT TRUE!
It is CRAZY how the doorbell happen to NOT WORK most times the carrier comes to my house, it appears. It is unbelievable!
Especially when we make the time to be home on the day of delivery.

This truly upsets me that they are not providing the service that is promised to the customer and in their job description.
It is infuriating knowing that our tax payers money is being wasted on nonproductive employees not doing their job to satisfy customers.
Don't get me wrong, I am NOT saying all Postal Carrier Employees are unproductive, but mine give the others a bad name.

Also, to confirm this information.
It is extremely upsetting when my husband told me that a Canada Post carrier admitted to him on the golf course that he was there as often as my husband was (3-4 x/ week). He told my husband that he was very fortunate that he was able to do his 8 hour delivery run by foot in 2 1/2 hours, leaving him the rest of the day to play golf, while getting paid for 8 hours.

Back to my minivan postal delivery lady. She gets mileage reimbursement for fake mileage claims for which she never did, pocketing the difference - plus fake reporting of time supposedly doing these deliveries.
This is fraud towards her employer and towards the taxpayers and government - for which Canada Post has exclusivity of this service; a monopoly.
They should be fired, forced to payback the fraud estimated value and be arrested for fraud. There is sufficient technology tracking and reverse traceability to prove countless fraud cases, while checking back with consumer if indeed they were home that day and no one came.
The odd time that they do deliver, it is drop, ring and go, before you even get to the door, they're already at their vehicle. UPS never does that - even when no signature is required.

It is very, very sad that nothing is being done about this. I call often to inquire about the situation and it is never long before it is reverts back to how it was. It is futile to complain to my local post office; they are protecting their own.
And perhaps that you will too...
If you do, please know that I intend to take it to your President and the local TV news if I need to.
I need for a senior official to respond to me, compensate me for my trouble and expense and to have this employee fired, fined and arrested of fraud.

You have 30 days to comply.

Please post your contact information to this post and I will contact you - as this is a public forum.

Sincerely,

A fed-up customer

Canada Post residential parcel delivery quality of service

September 26-29
Over the last month I have not been getting my parcels delivered as per usual method of the safe drop being at the back door entrance to the building. My tracking info says unable to deliver but no delivery notice is placed in my mailbox as it should or somethings I don't get it until the next day. This tells me that the driver does not even try to deliver the package. Also this week on Thursday I had to leave early to go to the post office and pick up my undelivered package without a delivery notice and discovered that my second package was available for me to pick up once again without a delivery notice. Now, today I got a delivery notices for a package that I already have. How is this possible? This indicates to me that no one is actually attempting to deliver to the resident.

I pay for parcel delivery as I don't have time to go to the post office during hours of operation. I have had a safe drop for the last 2 years and suddenly they won't deliver.

Canada Post delivery to wrong address: canada post: [protected]

This is an order from Amazon.

The address that it is to be delivered to is (see attached photo):
The Beaches PO
2140 A QUEEN ST E
TORONTO, ON M4E 1E0
Canada

It has been delivered to Shoppers World on the Danforth (see attached photo).

Please have it sent to the post office it was addressed to. I specifically asked for the parcel to be delivered to my local post office because I work and it is a short walk for me to go after work to pick up. It is not a short walk for me to go to the Danforth at any time.

Please rectify.

Canada Post mailbox keys

I submitted request for mailbox keys on Sept 15, 2017. I was told that I will receive my keys by Sept 20, 2017. I called customer care to get keys on Sept 22, 2017 and was told on phone to post office branch in saddletown, as my keys are ready there. I went to saddletown branch and they could not find the keys. And on Sept 23, 2017 I called them on Saturday and Monday again to check and now they are saying I have to wait untill Sept 27. I booked my exam as they told me that I will receive my keys by Sept 20th. But now I need important paper work for my exam or else I will lose my 300 dollar fee if I don't that paper work tomorrow for exam. Customer service even don't know how should they help. I feel so disappointed that it's really bad services especially when I explained them that I need keys urgently.
My address is 308 cornerstone passage ne calgary T3N1G3

Canada Post not delivering at all!

I don't expect anyone at Canada post to respond, they are useless. My husband gets his meds delivered by Canada post express post. One package due today. Both home. No one comes to the door. No one put a delivery slip in our community mail boxes yet on the computer it says ready for pick up. Are you serious?! Do you know how many times this has happened! If the person who is supposed to be delivering your parcel does not want to deliver when Canada post says it will be delivered, why do you have that person on staff? Once again, in pain, my Husband has to now go into town and collect his meds. This is past unacceptable. You truly SUCK. Decided to just not deliver to Springbrook anymore? Don't like the weather? Too tired? Utter [censor]!

Canada Post hate mail circulated about me to fellow community members

On Sept 15, 2017, an unsigned letter, purportedly from Whitefish River First Nation Chief and Council, was put in Canada Post mailboxes at the Birch Island, Ontario post office. The letter's text identified me, Marie McGregor Pitawanakwat, in ways that were libelous and defamatory. The letter may also be hate mail. The letter was designed to single me out as an "offender" for living on unused indigenous lands after I was forcibly evicted from a home and land given to me by my late parents. As an indigenous female elder, I have the right to live on indigenous homelands. I was evicted from my home by an abusive family member, and even after making complaints to the police, no charges were ever laid against the perpetrator for the abuse. Upon eviction, I went, temporarily, to an emergency shelter. Needing to be on my own homelands, I initially set up a tent on indigenous homelands. Then, I bought a tiny building, then later, another, and had them attached so as to make a tiny home. I have lived there for two winters and now, three summers. Instead of the community leadership being proud of my resourcefulness, they vilified me by invoking a trespass order designed to keep non-indigenous people from trespassing on indigenous lands. When I challenged the trespass bylaw by appealing to the Federal Court of Canada, the order to vacate was stayed until the court proceedings were complete. The Federal Court decided that as an indigenous woman on indigenous homelands, that Whitefish River still had the legal right to evict me from indigenous homelands. The Sept 15, 2017 letter was circulated through the post office, designed to "criminalize" my exercising my rights to live on indigenous homelands. The letter text is libelous and defamatory. I request that Canada Post investigate how mail is circulated at the Birch Island, Ontario post office, and to determine if indeed, the Sept 15, 2017 letter is hate mail. The effect of it is hate mail. Thank you for considering my request. I look forward to the response of Canada Post. I will also "snail mail" a letter to the Canada Post Customer Service in Ottawa, Ontario. Sincerely, Marie McGregor Pitawanakwat

Canada Post worst service I ever had

The service of Canada Post sucks. The carrier from 190 Northfield Dr W, Waterloo does not even want to bother himself to bring my item to my home address. He just said the mailboxes were full. That's totally an excuse and [censor]. He put the hundreds of delivery notice on the wall, forcing us to spend nearly an hour to pick up our items at the office with the rude staff.

Canada Post xpresspost

Their service is horrible, doesn't even deserve to have a single star. I was led to believe that with their Xpress Post, the parcel will get delivered within 7 business days (7 days Max) I also paid for tracking for monitoring. It's been 3 weeks and the parcel is not yet there. The worst thing is they don't even know where the parcel is. After escalating my concern, 2 clueless and useless supervisors said that the International Trace Department has to investigate. The first one said I can follow up after a week, and the 2nd one said I have to give them 90 more days before they can give a concrete answer. Their service paled miserably in comparison to UPS & FedeX. The saddest part is they make signage in every Canada Post Outlet/ Store that they can deliver in 7 days - I think they should pull that signage out because it's a false claim, it's like advertising something that they can't back up with their service. If Canada Post doesn't have good clout with customs or international postal service, then, they shouldn't make a claim that they can deliver within 7 days! Before my call got escalated to the real Canada Post Supervisor, l have to go through pretentious "know-it all" call center representative who injects her own opinion about restricted items without fully understanding that I haven't sent anything that's restricted to the country of destination.
Transaction details are as follows:
Mailed a parcel using Xpress Post with Tracking on Aug. 23
Country of Destination - Philippines
Sent: Canadian Made Nutritional Supplements
1st Follow Up _ Sept 5th - pretentious call center rep scared us saying that the items I sent are restricted because it's considered food. (Neglecfully omitting the word "adulterated" Food on her restricted List)
2nd Follow Up Sep 6th demanded to speak to a Canada Post Supvsr after looking at the list of items not allowed to enter the Phils. I told the suspervisor that I haven't sent any adulterated food! (just recently purchased these canadian made supplements from National Nutrition & Loblaws). Supervisor Jim Head gave me his direct line (long distance #) for status follow up after a wk as they need to contact Int'l Trace Dept
3rd Follow Up - Sept 15 - Another Supervisor named Jennifer told me I have to wait for another 90 days as Int'l Trace Dept is still investigating.
Question is : why do they charge over $100 dollars when they first of all can't back up their claims with good service.
2nd : Why are they allowed to post their fictitious claim -- misleading people that they're a good option to fedex & ups, when they can't even compete with forex with 8 wk shipping service?
3rd : Their tracking service is as useless as their clueless supervisors!

Canada Post package destroyed - no apology from carrier

I ordered a hat from Amazon and it was delivered on 12 Sept 17 by your carrier. The Canada Post Carrier shoved it into my mail box and destroyed it so I had to return it. It was obviously too big for the box. When another delivery was due again today on 14 Sept 17, my husband saw the Carrier at the super box and realized she had again jammed the package in our small box (luckily we checked it this item was not destroyed). My husband asked why she didn't use the package box options. She rudely said they were full so he asked why not just leave a card and we would have gone and picked it up. He also explained her last delivery was destroyed and had to be returned because of the way it was jammed into our box. The Carrier did not apologize or even act like she cared.

Canada Post the stairs to the sussex, nb location are dangerous

I have fallen for the second time at this location, hurting both wrists and one knee. The old Granite steps are unsafe, uneven and dangerous. I would like to hear from someone about this. Many people have fallen over the years and its time to address this issue. The stairs have moved and shifted over the years and now they are completely uneven. Its dangerous and I am an avid hiker so I think I am more than capable of handing dangerous footings, but this is ridiculous, and dangerous. In the winter they are covered with snow, the fall they are covered with leafs, and I want something done asap.

Canada Post delivery/ staff inappropriate behaviour especially supervisor

My service ticket number [protected]
I checked my tracking number and came to know that my package arrived in Richmond on September 7. On the next day I checked and that says they sent my package back to the sender. I went to two Canada post offices near to my place and they have no idea about my package.. I called customer service so many times they gave me this service ticket but still they don't know the reason why my package sent back. I was really worried and panic. I talked to the supervisor. She contacted the office and she said she can't help me. She hanged up my call. That was so rude. I really want you to take an action because this package contains my passport. Please let me know the reason. If anything wrong with the address, let me know. I am so sad about the unpleasant customer service especially the supervisor

Canada Post mail delivery

I've lived at the same address for over 12 years. There has never been a fixed address on it. I received at notice saying that they were with holding my mail until the address was put on. I contacted the supervisor whos name was on the notice. I told her I would put the number on the house and I did. It's been a week and I still haven't received any mail. I called the supervisor yesterday and left a message for her to call me back and explain why they were still withholding my mail and she has yet to return my call.

Canada Post the staff at location 966 dundas st. e., miss.

We have been using the Canada Post location at 966 Dundas Street east in Mississauga, Ontario for many years and the staff there continues to get ruder and ruder with each visit.

On August 18, 2017 when we have had several packages to mail at once (over 100), they acted as if they were doing us a favour by doing their JOBS. We specifically went in at a non-busy time sop as not to annoy other customers, but they still made us feel like like dirt under their feet. I had another piece of mail to send that was not part of the order of packages that I wanted a different receipt for, so I went top the next kiosk where the woman had no customer. Before I opened my mouth she said, "I don't want to do this any more than SHE does" (referring to her miserable co-worker). I told her that this wasn't part of the order, but even if it was she was not doing anything, so shouldn't she help out anyway? She glared at me then begrudgingly took my envelope to mail. They also gave us a VERY hard time about our packages. they are DVD's in a padded envelope that DO fit through the slot-device that you have so that they can go regular mail. They kept telling us that they were too big, and we told them that we have been mailing from here every summer for years and have never had an issue before. The manager then said, "Well, if they come back it's your own fault". NOTE: To this date, a few have come back due to incomplete addresses, but NONE have been returned due to size. It is getting SO bad that we are afraid to take ANY packages to this location for fear that they will "lose" them because they seem to hate their jobs so much.

We put up with them because they are the closest location to our small business, but after what we witnessed today, I had to lodge a formal complaint.

Today, September 7, 2017, we were waiting in line to mail a package and the two older ladies behind the counter had the worst attitudes you could imagine. There were a group of students trying to mail their OSAP applications, and one of them filled it out incorrectly. The "service" person behind the counter literally THREW the form back at the young person and said "You've done it wrong! Go away and do it correctly!" While this person was doing this the other one was on the phone with a customer and was speaking in a very sarcastic tone about an issue. She asked the person if they would like another number so they could talk to someone else. The caller obviously said "yes" because she let out a HUGE sigh and started to drone the numbers to the person, then ended with "They won't be able to help you either", then HUNG UP! They did ALL of this in full view and hearing of us and other people in line. we all looked at each other in amazement that they were being so rude. When we got to our turn, she said AGAIN that the package was too big, and we told her AGAIN that it has never been an issue. She finished off rudely with "I can't believe you aren't getting them all back!"

These "service" people can NOT be the kind of people you want representing the Canada Post brand. If they are so unhappy in their jobs, perhaps a change of scenery is needed. Somewhere, ANYWHERE but dealing with the public. I can honestly see why more and more people and businesses are going with couriers nowadays. Its not worth dealing with miserable jerks like the ones at 966 Dundas Street East in Mississauga, Ontario.

We would appreciate a response to this.
Ted & Susan Ambrose

Canada Post horrible service, refuse to solve problems.

I have been having an issue with my mail delivery in that I am not receiving any at all. I have had not one piece of mail delivered to me for almost two weeks, so I contacted Canada Post in hopes of solving the issue and retrieving my mail. The first lady I spoke to was rude and told me that there was absolutely nothing she could do, and only gave me the address of the nearest depot which does absolutely nothing for me since they don't have phone numbers and are not accessible to the public. I learned this the hards way.

So I tried again, and created a service ticket, and was actually contacted about it. However, I missed the call since I was working, and called back an hour later and got no response. I tried again the next day and still nothing, so I called customer service AGAIN and was told that since they could not get a hold of me, they marked the file as "resolved." How is that resolved? I asked him to reopen the file and to PLEASE have someone from the correct department contact me and DO NOT close it until I actually speak to someone.

I still have yet to be contacted and have absolutely zero patience left for this. I was expecting several cheques in the mail that I need so I can pay bills and survive, and Canada Post's blatant disregard for my problem is appalling. How can they not deliver my mail, keep it from me and not tell me what is going on? I don't understand.

Canada Post rude/inappropriate/unethical/illegal behaviour

Hello,
My daughter that is just turned 10 years old was a passenger involved in a minor collision on Friday, September 1st, 2017 with a Canada Post truck. The driver himself was fine, however, I'm guessing he called a supervisor to attend the accident. This supervisor's name was Jerry/Gerry (female) from the Canada post warehouse with the address of 21 Haist Avenue, Vaughan, Ontario. She did not give anyone involved her name I had to find out myself from the location what her name was. She was extremely rude to my mother, aunt, and especially my daughter. Before the police arrived, she questioned my daughter asking a just turned 10 year old her name, address, cell phone number her date of birth? Who questions or should I say interrogates a minor at an accident without parental permission. She frightened my daughter. She apparently doesn't know that it is against the law to question/interrogate a minor. This information would have been provided by the attending police officer if need be. She disappeared when the police officer showed up, only to reappear at the very end. However, I have already placed a call to the attending police officer to inform him of what had transpired. I contacted the location where she worked and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Frank who I believe is her counter part and he told me he would speak to her. When I requested a followup he told me there would not be one it will be handled within. Well I do want a follow up, she had no right to question my daughter without my presence and frighten her the way she did. She needs to be reprimanded accordingly. Her just being spoken to is not enough. she acted like she was the police officer putting blame without the police officer even arriving. I don't think these are the types of people that should be representing out government employees as they should know what is ethical and what isn't, let alone what is legal or not. Please let me know how I can take this further so she understands that this is not tolerated and she is a Canada Post Supervisor and not a Police Supervisor trained and qualified to investigate and interrogate. Especially minors without parental consent.
Thank you,
Rita
