overpayment on credit cart
to whom it may concerned.. regarding my Capital One/Walmart account
i have just got off the phone with your customer service representative and supervisor..they have told me that nothing can be done electronically with reg
ards to an automatic payment that went thru for my last statment balance of $406. 2/2/22
when i had made a pament of $300.00 on 2/1/22 which left with me a credit balance ...i cannot believe that Capital One cannot process an electronic credit back to me.
I have very limited funds in my checking account so this means i will be unable to puchase food or gas for my car untill next Wednesday when my Social Security check is deposited...
I have to wait ten days while a paper check is processed
why do you encourage your customer to receive their statements and make payments electonically when you do not have the same capacity...
i will address this situation with elders affair in the state of Massachusetts.
Violet Radzikowski
Desired outcome: resolve the option of waiting for a paper check when you should be able to credit a customer back electronically...
Capital Bank
I called to get a replacement card ofr my husband The card is damaged not lost or stolen and I hade to speak to four (4) people and still could not get a replacement. It was a waste of valuable time for me and for the employee. Right now I have a headache from talking to the last person who was hard to understand. If I had lost or the card was stolen I would have gotten a card within a few days. This procedure is impossible. I gave them birth dates, social security numbers, address, etc.
Desired outcome: I just wanted a replacement card and would like a call from someone in authority to correct this and apologize for this inconvenience
Removal of late payments on credit report
1/28/2022 1:10pm
I received a message from Credit Karma in regards to improving my credit report. I was reaching out to creditors about removing negative information after correcting issues and getting caught up on payments. All of my creditors have agreed to remove negative info except for Capital One. I understand that some company's will remove information as a courtesy. I called Capital One's Auto department several times and was hung up on several times. I was able to reach someone from the auto department and I asked if I could get the "late payment" information removed after getting caught up with payments, the young man said "no", I informed him that other company's do this as a courtesy and that I would love to speak to a Supervisor... after holding for about 20 minutes he came back to say that he had a Supervisor for me to speak to only to be disconnected once again. All I need to know is if Capital One willing to remove the "Late payments" information from my credit report. The last two going on three years have been rough for a lot of us...
- I Retired in 2019 (Income reduced)
- Pandemic (did not receive Stimulus checks 2019 salary was too high)
-Diagnosed with Cancer 2021... thank God I'm cancer free now...
A lot has happed but thank God I'm working part time as of this week and
on my way to financial security and able to get back on top of things.
Desired outcome: Removal of Late payments on Credit Report.
Savings Account
My life partner passed away and I have a DPOA. I continue to get an email stating that I do not have the correct paperwork and I have called waited on hold for at least 30-60 mins only to find out that they do not have a "Bank Estate Operations" department it is generated by computers.
I cannot find a location open that I can go to and speak with a banker about this.
if I do not get this resolved I am pulling my account from Capital One and seeking legal advice regarding my life partner. It is truly a shame that Capital One does not have people to discuss the issues with only overseas clerks that don't understand what you are trying to do.
Desired outcome: to speak with a banker that is familiar with the "Estate operations"
Payment not sent

I called the number listed above. I spoke with Eve. in the progress of telling her what my understanding to why I was calling. Apparently neither one of us was on the same page. I repeated the reason I called back in September. I needed the amount of $302.79 that was paid to be cancel and the amount that I wished to be paid was $69.59. I told Eve I see no where that the $69.59 is reflected being paid by Capital One. When I told her the utility company cancelled the payment all together the $302.79. I asked her what happened to my $69.59 it is not reflecting being paid to the utility company. She begins to tell me of an email that was submitted on 9/29 @ 10:44 in refer to additional info needed. I told her I never received any information. She kept asking me if I had proof, I told her the utility company cancelled the transaction on their end. So, my question to her once again what happened to the $69.59. I told her need to speak with someone else. All throughout the call she was saying things under her breath. But what made me feel totally disrespected. Is when she said "OMG". I said really, I need to speak with a supervisor she began to say other things. At that point I refuse to hear another word she had to say. Apparently because I have worked in a call center myself. I feel she didn't find a supervisor, she transfers me back into the same que I came in on. I am just want to know what happened to my $69.59. no payment from Capital One was process on my behalf. I rec a final decision on 1/24/2022
which is below:
We received your message about your dispute with B2P GREENVILLE UTILITI for $233.20. On 11/11/2021, we let you know we didn't find any errors during our research, so we closed your dispute.
Although we can't help you with this anymore, you may be able to continue to dispute this transaction with the merchant directly.
Your dispute is closed.
Yet I am still out of $302.79 total
Desired outcome: money put back in my account
Credit card
I have closed this credit card account twice already. And I am still receiving a bill from Norton software debited to this card. I have also canceled Norton protection and am still being charged. Since I already canceled this Capital One card, I do not feel that I should be charged for Norton. You had no authorization to approve that expense. Please do not send me any more credit cards.
Desired outcome: I want my account credited for the $90.09 charge, and I want my Rewards balance of $21.77 returned to me as I have earned that.

Credit card
Card ending in 1165
I used my card many times at a close friend's restaurant. Capital One took it upon themself to flag the charges as fraud, and partially refund my money back to my account. However, they sent him numerous letters of 'disputed' charges, and he now thinks I owe him close to 1 grand. But my card was not refunded anything close to that. I have called so many times and get no where. They have no record of disputed charges (because I didn't dispute anything), and they have no way to tell me what they sent him saying I owed, VS what it shows on my account. They also blatantly lied and told him that I disputed charges against him, but cannot provide proof. I have never dealt with a company like this before. I am going to lose so much money because of this. He has 7 letters with dispute amounts, yet I only have 4 reversals of charges. It does not add up. I am going to have to give Capital One the money, AND now give him it as well, even though I already paid. I don't understand.
Desired outcome: I want this resolved.
Release my money please
Urgent.
I put an extra $1000 on my card a month ago. They wont remove the restricted status. They want to mail my surplus and close my account. They use my money for fees. They can also refund on it. I cant.
Calls. holds.
Matthew Costin.

Desired outcome: just release the restriction note

Desired outcome: reopen my savor card application and contact equifax
Electronic release of lien on a paid off loan
Paid-off Capital One Acct #[protected]. 2021 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk purchased Sep 10, 2021 in FL (VIN #1C4PJMBX2MD218680. The loan was completely paid off on 10 Dec 2021. Read full review of Capital OneCD matures & capitol mailed out a check $70,000 to me?
My Capitol One CD for $70,000 matured & they mailed a check to me (?) by regular mail for $70,000. I never received it. When I contacted them, they said the check had not been returned, so they required me to fill out an affidavit so that they could put a stop pmt. on it. I filled out the affidavit & sent it to the designated office by certified mail with return receipt. A month went by so I contacted them again & was told that they never received the affidavit or the returned check & that I would have to fill out another affidavit & wait 6 more months. I filled out another affidavit & waited a few months & still no check. I called again & gave them the name of the person at their office who had signed for the 1st affidavit & again they assumed no responsibility. But, low and behold, two weeks later I received the check for $72,400, which included funds from my MM a/c as well, since I had closed both of them out.
Desired outcome: Management needs to know what their Customer Service is doing to Capitol One.
Credit Card
When I applied, they said I qualify for $1500.00, but when I got the card, it only had $300.00 limit on it. I have not used the card yet & they say I owe $79.00 now after only having the card for 3 months. And I need to pay $79.00 every year, just to borrow $300-?
Nothing was mentioned about an annual fee of $79- upon application.
Then I go to use the card recently for the first time, in a store & online & it doesn't work at all, even though I activated it.
Desired outcome: I want the card cancelled & I owe nothing, since I was mislead into applying only because they said I was approved for $1500-, I would Not have applied for only $300- And the card doesn't even work.

Obtaining a title for a Michigan registered vehicle
I purchased a vehicle in Florida and registered it in Michigan, my home state. Michigan is a "title" state and I am unable to sell the vehicle because Capital One refuses to give me a hard copy of the title. They are only willing to provide me with a fax, or copy of the original. I could sell the vehicle if it was registered in FL. It was suggested that I register it in FL and then sell it but, I need a title to register it here. We are snowbirds and travel between Michigan & Florida. When I talk to the Capital One title department, I don't get any results, it is like ng to a brick wall!
Desired outcome: A copy of the title so I can sell the car
Title
I am trying to sell my car via Carvana or Vroom.
Both say they need a hard copy of the title to the vehicle. My vehicle is registered in Michigan and Capital one will not provide me with a hard copy of the title. I understand that they have a lien on the vehicle but, I have always been able to obtain a copy of my title that includes the lien holder.
I am a snowbird, my car is registered in Michigan but I am trying to sell it here in Florida.
I paid Michigan SOS for a copy of the title and they sent it directly to Capital One Auto. How can I sell the car if I can't get a title. I will never finance with them again!
Rosalind: [protected]@comcast.net
Desired outcome: A hard copy of my title so I can sell the car.
Did u know you can sign the title over to someone else that wants to take over your payments? Email me ndnpride74@yahoo.com
Fraud Unit response time.
I called Capital One Fraud Unit on 12/8 to ask why my QuickSilver VISA card was restricted and was told to upload my drivers license and call us back in 5-7 days. I called back in 8 days and was told it takes 8 to 10 days to verify the ID. I called the Fraud unit after 11 days and was told that they will call me back later that day. I didn't receive a call back that day or the day after. I called again 12/24 and they had to be passed off to a Fraud Unit manager to have ID verified. The I was told that the restriction had been lifted, but she could not tell me why the restriction was placed on the VISA card in the first place. The restriction still exists on the their web site however.
Desired outcome: Provide me with an account number which doesn't get restricted every year in December.
credit card
I paid the complete balance last month. This month I was charged 4 dollars for nothing and a 4.77 late fee.I paid your bogus fee and closed the account. Is it really worth losing a customer by charging 8.77.all I can say is enjoy your $8.77 it is the last penny you will ever get from me.
Desired outcome: don't rip off your customers.
Capital one credit card
I have 4 different capital one credit cards, and on three different occasions they have said it was suspected fraud and shut all cards down, there was no suspicious activity any time, used it in my home town, and it takes an act of congress to get all 4 cards reinstated. This last time I called spoke to three different people and had to give them the exact same info all three times, and the last one was a manager and they just hung up on me after I explained the situation. When you use these cards for your business this can cause a huge problem. Oh and I pay all payments on time...every time...good credit. Will be finding more dependable cards...very frustrated, have points and can't redeem them when card is in this status...
Desired outcome: reinstate the cards without a hassle don't shut them down to begin with
Representative
I was on the phone with a representative and she was extremely rude I don't even think she gave me her name. What made me mad was that she didn't even try to help me. Story of my life. Why get a job that is all about communication if you aren't even going to bother to communicate.
Desired outcome: She hung up
