Cell C Struggling to get ITC reference number

Im unable to get ITC number from Cell C because their Prepaid department is down. I called customer care and they sent me SMS saying my IMEI no and cellphone number provided doesnt match. I called customer care again and the second agent just gave me the ITC number without any hassle. After sending to insurance, the insurance says the ITC number is incorrect. Im not sure if CELLC is playing me around or what. I really need this ITC number for insurance 😥

Cell C Cancelled order

Good day.

On the 27th March 2023 I wanted to upgrade to a samsung A33 with watch5 on as per advertisement. Was told its discontinued and does not come with watch5. I then opted for an A34 and was told after asking that it comes with a watch5 2gig pinnacle R459. The upgrade was done successfully. Notice that on the agreement sent, agreement no [protected], via email from the retention department that it came with watch4. Called immediately, however it was to late to cancel as parcel was sent out. Was advised not sign for receipt and the couriers will send it back. On 29 March 2023 the courier service arrived, CourierIT with reference no CELLC13152057. Did not sign and it was returned as per mesage witch indicates that was returned to sender on 2023/04/04. It also indicates returned on 2023/04/06 with ROW no: 777103Then opted for A53 with watch5. Could not be processed as they needed to confirm return of canceled order first. Since then, to date, I have spoken to various consultants. Same story of them waiting for a RAW number. It has been co firmed that the parcel has been returned, however no RAW number available. It is a typical case of the one hand not knowing what the other hand is doing. Not to mention the level of experience which is extremely frustrating, borderline incompetence.CELLC NEEDS TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER.

Desired outcome: For the recordings to be listened to from upgrade date to present. Their after an Upgrade based on original quoted amount of Samsung A53 with watch5

Cell C Couldn't find help in doing a sim swap

On the 05 of April I lost my phone

So I contacted cell c people to help me in doing my SIM card

I've been going to the store an calling them for more than a week now an I'm unable to get help

What should I do now coz there are sms that I should get

I'm a matric student I need to apply. An j can't coz I lost the SIM card

Cell C Incorrect billing on account

An debit order of 1681 was returned and a debit order of 1610 was successfully paid as confirmed by my FNB, however Cell c is disputing this amount an not cooperating in resolving the issue.
and have now added the amount onto the next months bill.

Cell C Customer service and accounts

My line was suspended 06/04 after a missed payment 31/03. I immediately called customer care to assist to rectify situation and make payment but I called customer care that reports being available 24/7 to be told by voice automation that I should call in office hours.

I ended up getting to a consultant through many other channels of the helpline but there was always an issues regarding why I can't be assisted. E.g. I failed security.

I called the service lines at least 20 times the 06/04 to rectify situation and eventually got to someone that then sent an SMS with how to do the payment and advised me to call back after payment so that line can be opened again.

I called back again multiple times struggling to get to a consultant .

I generally am not someone who forces her way but it was an urgent case as I'm a medical doctor and am allocated to be called in emergencies for the long Easter weekend for a local hospital so my line needed to be opened ASAP.

The next day 07/04 , I received an SMS saying the payment was received it would take 2-5 hours to rectify and be opened. I waited till the time was over and called customer services back with it still not working.

Again, even getting to a consultant was a struggle with multiple attempts and having to get to someone through other channels e.g. home fibre department/prepaid.

There was a different problem every time I called. E..g failed security, supervisor not there, payment not shown as allocation but need to call back again to rectify.

At this stage, it is not the personal convenience that is my biggest concern. I have gone above and beyond trying to rectify the problem for patient safety but this is not taken as a matter of concern from cell c.

I will need to take the matter further as lives are at risk despite my efforts and will need to switch networks soon as I cannot rely on cell c to assist when urgent matters arise.

Desired outcome: Immediate opening of my phone line and or urgently engaging with me on how to fix the situation.

I anushka van der westhuizen is very unhappy with cell c I had not payed for january 2023 my account was +-5000 I lost my job so a couldn't pay then they called me and a explained my self then they suspended my account up to today the 5 april 2023 we cant call out but how can still pay if I dont have a job my account is standing on 16000 now but I told them I dont want to upgrade my contacts end of feb 2023 can someone please help me with that

Cell C Laptop repair

I took a contract deal last year November with Cell C for the Mecer Guru. I used the laptop just to setup my password and stream some online videos and browse the internet. The laptop then gave me problems with the keyboard and touchscreen the keyboard refuse to work and the screen just doesn't want to take my password. I contacted Cell C more than several times to complain they told me the IMEI number doesn't match so based with my last call on the 8th of March I finally decided to ask the consultant which is the IMEI number on the box because there is two numbers just give me the first four digits I finally gave the right IMEI number which every consultant I spoke to didn't even help with that I figured it out on my own to ask this question. Finally they gave a reference number which is CCD458907 and told us ram couriers will pick up yet I am still waiting for them to pick up each time I call cell c to follow up they say there's no pick up date yet, so how long more must I wait I am paying R499 month for a laptop that isn't operational. And just now I called again Cell C cuts me off after being transferred to the repairs department, Cell C wasn't like this before now everything is going bonkers on their part my last complaint was about my upgrade for the Samsung z flip 4 which took forever but finally got it last week, Now this. What's happening guys!

Cell C Payment allocation

Please assist, Cellc failed to debit my account on 28/02 and advised me to make payment via eft ……payment was made on the 03/03 however Cellc failed to allocate my payment to date.I called in numerous of times with no assistance I even emailed different departments, I also went to Cellc chatsworth store and that was the time they gave me reference number that is [protected] however when I called to agent has given me a reference number all that was stated too me to email them proof of payment and the case will be worked with in 24 to 48hrs however nothing was done every two days being calling same information was given and had to sent proof of payment yesterday I walked in to another cell c store to inquire the states of my case the agent than called billing and they still working on the case it’s a month now my sim card is now block and they claiming I’m in areas however my biggest concern is not it’s the 31 of march and my my next payment is due and I only put the R1200 that I owe for this month however when I was in store it stated I owe R2189 meaning they charging me for the a month that they hadn’t allocated this is causing me stress and I can’t afford too pay for something that’s not my fault they sent me the reference number to pay and I done as followed on the 28 February they were supposed too debt the money on my account however they failed to do so when I called them they stated they had taken it however they hadn’t called them back at was stated they can’t debit twice I should eft the money a month later they can’t find the money my bank states they have the money I’ve being running in circles as we speak I’m on the line with cell c and have been put on mute for almost 45mins

Cell C ITC Number

I am unable to source an ITC Number and the agents are unwilling to escalate my complaint. I purchased an Apple Ipad during 2013 and obtained a 2 Gig Cell C SIM Card until the 14th December 2022. Thereafter I used the 10 Gig Cell C WiFi until 2021. The Ipad was since stolen and registered on the Cell C network on the 3rd February 2023 by whoever stole the device. Cell C appears to be unable to escalate or resolve the matter and or provide any satisfactory service in this regard.

I require an ITC number and blacklisting of the device urgently

Cell C Paid up letter

My Cell C contract ended August 2022 and my account was settled in full. To this day (28 March 2023) I have not received a paid up letter from Cell C, and this includes follow up calls to Cell C daily and two different case numbers logged. This affects my credit score as it still reflects as open and active on my credit profile. Cell C provides disgusting service delivery

Desired outcome: please send me a paid up letter and close the open and active account as this should have been done in August 2022

Cell C I really want contract to be cancelled at no cost to me and to be reimbursed as I do not want to suffer under the same service provider.

I am on a data contract with ceLL c. I did not receive a new simcard for the data contract however my prepaid number continued to receive and use data.

For some time I have not been able to use the data for reasons I do not know. I assume that the problem could be with the sim card as I currently can view the balance.

I currently have 61 440. mb and 20 480.00mb data and the sad part is; I'm currently unble to use the data. A debit order of R262.09 runs from my account each month however, I do not receive value for my money as my sim card cannot use data allocated.

I logged calls with Cell C for more than 6 times to report this matter however I received no positive outcomes from the network. I have been apologised to and at some point my call was dropped as I wanted to talk to the supervisor.

I'm of the opinion that the officials at Cell C are pressured to push the statistics at the expense of customers and to apologise to clients in order to close a call.

Cell C has no regard for me as a customer, as a failure by Deliveries Unit is not a concern of their Customer Services.

The last time I called I was informed that I need to buy a sim card and do a simswap. Im conflicted as I cannot buy the sim card as I was never informed about that when tooking the contract. The last response I received from them last tame was as follows — A new Sim card could not be delivered upon the activation of your data contract because you opted to use your existing number and sim card.

Please purchase a new Cell C unregistered Sim card from a Cell C store alternatively you may purchase it from your nearest retail store.

^MN — As a customer I feel that sad and angered as I was never informed about simswap when taking the contract.

Cell C Data with Laptop package

I took out an data contract on the 5th of February 2023 for a Packard bell i7 laptop originally but had to change the laptop due to stock not being available, so I changed the laptop to a Huawei mate D14.

Delivery hasn't happened since me as the customer has to do follow-up with cellc as to where or when the delivery will happen.

Its already the 17th of March 2023 and i have not received anything relating to a laptop or data sim from Cell C but I'm expecting to pay for a service i don't have or took ownership off.

Im not being compensated from the call centre side as the communication from Cellc to its customers doesnt exist.

To top it off I'm sitting with a waybill CELLC13146440 that was last updated on the 15th of March 2023 stating its with the delivery drivers from Courier IT.

Desired outcome: Im demanding answers from Douglas Stevenson with regards to why processes are so ridiculous for customers that have been with Cellc since 2009.I want what im paying for and compensation for my efforts as a customer.

Cell C Paid Up letter

I would like to state that I have a paid Up letter from the Nimble group for an account I had with Cell C. I have contacted Cell C numerous times to no effect to update paid Up information to credit providers it adversely affecting my score. 40 days have lapsed since I've settled the account owed to Cell C. Call center agents for Cell C say they do not have a record of any such accounts. So they cannot assist me.

Cell c is most far the worst company ever I’ve been calling for weeks they never credited the money from my account when I call they refuse too debt the money and stated that i should eft the money and sent proof of payment yet I did so when I called they say they haven’t received it this is putting me more in debt I’m tired your agents don’t know how to do they job I’ve been trying out yourl since 2013 I just want my contracts too and expire soo I can leave

Cell C No paid up letter received and account handed over

Hi All.

Hope this email finds you well.

I need help with providing me with a paid up letter, the account was paid up at the beginning of 2019. However I have had multiple calls stating that I owe +R7000 and I have been requesting for am investigating and assistance to have this matter resolved and none of the agents I have spoken to assisted me thus far. Please can you go back and check on my account and the payments that were made and the balance that was owed at the time. I am disputing owing anything as I have requested a paid up letter from cellc multiple times. All the details required are below. Kindly get back to me with a response as soon as possible as every call I get states that I owe more money which I cannot afford.

Please note that I have called the customer service department multiple times and nobody has been of any assistance.

Cell C Samsung z flip 4!!

I have done a upgrade on the 6th of February 2023. Which the Samsung z flip 4 was on promotion with a add on phone. My application was successful, we waited a two week period as discussed with the consultant the waiting period time. After the long wait I still received no feed back. So I got in contact with customer service regarding my application they then proceed to say it's about the color and put me through the upgrade department again to change the color cause the color requested was no longer available. When transferred I asked if the add on was still going to be available since I had no feed back from cell c and it's a new month with a new booklet, the consultant then proceed to say unfortunately it can't be done. Because that promotion was for last month, yet no one contacted me regarding this and I have been a cell c customer for over 15years. I didn't want any hassle so we proceed with new upgrade contract because of the color change with no add on. This all was done on the 22nd of February 2023. I waited again for feed back but there was none given about the device I requested. So I decided to call again to confirm again an issue with color and no stock. I have been waiting over a month for this device and no delivery or feed back whatsoever this is the longest I have ever had to wait for a device to be delivered to me very disappointed with cell c.

Cell C Service on account

Good day i have send numorous e mails to customer sevice , the only responce was today that say contac 135 , acording cell c cusomer service i cant up grade because my account is not paid , i mtry to sort this out since last year okt 2022 then they ask proof of payments where i did sen it in pdf file to accounts department where i was informed from a customer agent that my account are paid with a surplus of over R4000 zar rand , with all my emails all responce is that i must rate there service they gave me email adresses when i send my querie it just came back as undeliverd or the message say that they will came back in 24 to 48 hours but no responce or any form of back feed , when i phone customer care140 when i tried to explain to the agent the answer is phone 135 and then they again told me contact accounts dep or contact up grades where they again told me contact customer sevice it is is becaming of front and back im a customer for 23 yrs with cell c , i think this is a bad complaint against cell c by not resolve my querie

Cell C Amount of R97 handed over.

Amount of R97 handed over. Account was closed with Cell C in Feb 2021 and was paid in full before i ported my number.

Account was cancelled at Cell C Greenstone. February 2021.

I have been in store and phoned the call center. I have no account owing with Cell C.

Please contact me urgently as I am not receiving any assistance through the normal channels.

Cell C Insurance claim on my lost device

I was using Huawei P30 and I had it Insured with CEL c,on the 4th of October 2022 I had an early Upgrade. I Upgraded to Huawei 9se light ,They we running a promotion of 2 devices basically buy one and get one free,They had a blue and black phone so I requested a black phone and I gave the blue phone to my Son. Since I had insurance I asked the consultant that was assisting me to insure the new phone or update my insurance,insure the black phone since both my sim cards were going inside that phone.She agreed to that and said that she is doing it on the system.On the 26th of February I lost my phone while shopping,It was month end and the mall was very busy,i realised that my phone was missing when I got to parking ,went back to the stores I couldn't find my phone and by that time it was switched off.I reported my phone lost immediately,black listed the phone and both SIM cards,went to submit the claim forms at CEL C woodlands.I was told that the lady that sòld me the phone is no longer working there however they did their best to assist.To my surprise I was told that my new 9se device wasn't insured ,my son's phone is insured,i wasn't getting anywhere with the consultants,i went to CEL C Menlyn then I was told that non of phones Insured only my old P30 is insured and I i gave it away.

Desired outcome: Someone needs to take responsibility,stop sending me from pillar to post .I have been paying my insurance i followed all the procedures I need a phone I am busy looking customers.

Cell C Stolen Mobile phone. +[protected]

Good day, I had a new contract signed on 21-01-2023 with Cell C at Kolonnade, Pretoria, requesting insurance on the phones and reitterated twice. as per previous phones, without adherance to my request. The lady doing the contract, however, did not adheere to my request as I found today.

I was robbed from my phone in Pretoria CBD, this afternoon 6/2 2023 at about 12:30.

I rushed to Kolonnade to have the device black listed just to fine that the phone is not insured.

On the day as well as a number of days after the contract was signed, Me and my spouse had numerous issues with the Samsung Galaxi A33 5G phones, which we went back to Cell C in the Mall for assistance. The personnel could however, not completely assist, therefore I did visit Samsung's outlet in the Mall where they assisted gladly and proptly.

I hereby lodge a complaint about the quality of some consultants at the said Cell C outlet and wish you to consider the insurance and subsequent loss of the hand set.
