nice'n easy demi permanent hair colour
I have used this product, same colour for the last 5 years and have been happy with it. I bought this last one 2 days ago and have just applied it exactly the same as I have always done. The colour is advertised on the box as 'light warm brown' My hair has now turned a shocking shade of ginger!
I am horrified to say the least, it does not look anything like the colour advertised on the box or the colour I have had in the past, it is completely different.
I would like some form of compensation as I now need to seek professional advice to put this right.

nice n’ easy permanent black (2) hair dye
Hair dye was sealed;however, no gloves were included in the pack at all. The package had no damage at all, but gloves were missing. I've bought the same color multiple times from cvs and never had a problem and this is the first time this has ever happened. We ended up having to use kitchen gloves as no gloves were supplied in the pack. I've bought this dye multiple times and have never had this issue.
clairol root touch up

I am emailing to complain about your root touch up for black shades. I had everything ready last night and then realised there was no application brush. I did the best I could to mix and apply with my fingers but it went everywhere on my skin which I had to use a pumice stone to get it off. I have used the product many times and always had positive results but thos time im very dissapointed, I appreciate these thing's can happen just wanted to make you aware. demi permanent colour grows out and not washes out as advertised
Morning
I always use your product, the permanent one though, but the last year I tried to grow out my natural hair colour - which is salt en pepper now.
So being bored with the colour I decided to use the Nice and easy- below product.
It has been now a month and a week and the colour is now growing out? I did use a too dark colour, but I was not worried, because out of experience I know that it does not last long and soon I will have my colour back,
It clearly states on your product it last for 24 days? Now I am back to square 1, previously when I used the demi permanent 1 after 2 weeks it has faded already.
After everything that I went through to get my natural colour back - I used a product of yours that is clearly packed in the wrong package!
Please respond to this ASAP with a solution

I am a user of Natural Instincts for atleast 15 years. I have used your #18 for years (med golden brown) & the formula you had would cover my gray ( I am salt & pepper gray) with a final result that left the look of subtle golden highlights. It gave a healthy look, leaving my hair lightweight & full of body. However, your new formula, # 5G, may be similar in the color chart, but gives a very different result, which is quite a bit darker, & leaves my hair very heavy feeling, quite weighed down. I don't want to look elsewhere for my hair color. Clairol is long in the business, well established & trusted. root touch up
Last week I went to Wal-Mart in Welland Ontario Canada and purchased root touch up as I have done many times before. Yesterday I went to do my roots and there was black goop coming out of the tube.. This is unacceptable and imagine if I used This on my hair I cringe to think of what the results would have been.

Good Afternoon,
I purchased Clairol Age Defy 8A Medium Ash Blonde today which states that it targets stubborn grey. I do not have many grey hairs so thought this would definitely do the trick. Although I am happy with the all over colour itself, my grey hairs are still there! I picked this for the promise on the pack, and paid more than some of the rival products on offer. I am really disappointed that, not only have I got to pay for another product, the damage to my hair having to be dyed again to get rid of the grey that is still there. I have coloured my own hair for years and always follow the steps included. I even liked that this product came with a pre-treatment serum, thinking this would boost the final effect but I am now not sure about this either. I will not bother buying this dye again as it clearly does NOT cover 100% grey NOR make it look 10 years younger!
I do hope someone will respond to this email with an adequate answer to my query.

I just used this product yesterday it immediately washed out of my hair this is never happened
I've been coloring my hair for 30 + years using Clairol products especially the root touchup traditional which works great 👍🏻
I read reviews and I wanted to try this gel but it was horrible I purchased a two pack from Amazon & I'm throwing them both out I think this is a terrible product I'm very unhappy as this is never happened and I just felt the need to send my concerns to you
nice & easy hair color
I have been using the product for many years. However the last time I used this brand it must have been defective.
I colored my hair with Brown/Black which is darker than I normally used so it should have covered much better and longer.
This was used on May 24, 2019 and roots are already showing. I very disappointed that I purchase a subpar product and more disappointed that I may not have to research a more reliable product after so many years.

nice and easy 'dark brown' hair dye
I used the Nice and Easy hair dye last night in the shade 'dark brown'. My hair was a medium golden brown before I dyed it and it has went black. Nowhere near the dark brown shade described on the box and in the image. I now have to spend money, time and endure damage to my hair to try and lift it. Very, very disappointed and I would like to know why this has happened as it was not clearly advertised on the box that this product might turn my hair jet black? Completely unacceptable.

Hi, I brought an ash blond hair dye .A nice and easy one .I have blond hair but the roots were grey and now my hair has gone brown after using the dye, I'm so gutted. From the look of the comparison on the packet I should have been a medium blond colour. I'm wondering if the colours were mixed up . What can i do .I've included pictures of the difference in colour

The first time I use this product it didn't work at all. I left it for a few weeks and I tried it a second time and I have no change in any of the greys that I'm trying to cover - this product does NOT work. I'm very very disappointing

Everyone hates the formula change! you're losing money / business as we all search for an alternative to natural instincts we've used for decades.
Why did you change it? it leaves the hair greasy & nasty and it doesn't last more than a few days!

clairol nice n easy hair color.
I have been using the same hair color for years 6.5G. today, there was black streaks in the color I just bought yesterday, and I shook the heck out of the bottle, way more than I ever had to before. My arm is sore from trying to mix it up. I don't know what it is, but I was afraid to use it so I tossed it. I thought I took a photo of the box, but evidently I didn't, but I do have photos of the black I'm talking about. Is this a common occurrence? I'm afraid to buy another box today to do my hair 😢

I have been using nice and easy natural darkest brown hair color for 15 years. It was amazing my hair was always beautiful healthy and shiny. The formula was changed and it is terrible! It is not at all the same my hair is darker brittle dull and damaged. I am so disappointed clairol bring back the old formula and bring back you customers! I'm off to try a new brand for now!

It has been 4 weeks since my call to Clairol Quality Assurance. There was no resolution during the call or no clear next steps. I would like to discuss the agent that handled my problem and call and what Clairol references when responding to customer complaints.
I purchased the Clairol Pure White 40 volume developer along with Clairol Texture and Tones 6G Honey Blonde color at the beginning of January. I made this purchase at Sally Beauty Supply in Bowie Maryland and the Beauty Supply in Odenton Maryland on Blue Water Blvd. I colored my friends hair on Saturday, January 5th, 2019. We have had issues every since the application of this color.
A recap of my complaint and current update:
Unfortunately, your product has not performed well when coloring my friend's hair. Being formally trained in hair coloring in 1989-1990 and becoming a licensed cosmetologist, partnered with servicing people for 29 years I have never experienced this problem with your Clairol product. I actually recommend Clairol as the product to use. So, of course, I am extremely disappointed and unsatisfied. Immediately after the coloring process her hair felt drier than usual. Coloring her hair for the last 4 years we have never experienced the dryness that we have experienced this time. I conditioned her hair as a normal part of my process. While putting my products away, I felt some of her hair that was in the comb and it seemed extra dry. I decided to do a hot oil treatment to replenish some oil. After blow-drying her hair we noticed several areas that were immediately breaking and hair that was in our hands when doing a strand test. We are both devastated and she is full of anxiety. She prides in her hair and we have colored her hair at least 4 times over the past 4 years repeating the same process. She is very upset and sick over this matter. I am extremely upset because I am the one that applied a product that I have used repeatedly and trusted to have a great impact.
Agian, Clairol is the product that I have depended on and recommended over the 29 years of doing hair. Upon further investigation there have been multiple complaints about various Clairol product drying out and breaking off hair, even burning scalps. While we didn't experience any burning it definitely is something wrong with one of the products in your line. The Clairol developer doesn't have a tamper-resistant tab and I am suspecting that someone could have tampered with it.
Current Status of Her Hair
Weeks later, after a deep conditioning treatment and proactive care, she is still experiencing breakage. She is having anxiety issues as she prides on her beautiful hair. While we understand that hair changes, as your agent told us and that depending on the way hair is cared for, it can break. I know that we follow a very specific regimen in taking care of and preparing for her once a year hair color.
To resolve the problem, I would appreciate a thorough investigation to find out if this batch of product was mixed incorrectly, was the product tampered with. It is my belief that one of the two occurred. Upon request, I can provide images of my friends hair before and after. Image of pieces of the hair that broke off.

I have been a nice n easy customer for several years and, obviously, have been a satisfied customer. Until you changed the formula. I just don't see the highlights and shine that I always had. I am very disappointed. Do you have another product that is comparable to the original nice n easy formula? I hate having to start experimenting with other brands. I would appreciate your feedback. Bought ash blond for a change from just blond it has gone soooo dark I am devastated have tried again just my normal blond from nice and easy have used for years but it is still dark going to try again in a few days just giving my scalp a rest! What a nightmare what would you suggest as I would usually recommend to anyone but at the moment disappointed
age defy 6g light golden brown permanent hair colour
I used the Age Defy 6G Light golden brown on my hair on 21/10/2018. I have used Clairol before, but was hoping to go a lighter shade, as my current hair color is mahogany brown.
The hair color had no effect on my hair at all - and my greys are not even covered - it says on the packet 100% advanced grey coverage.
I was extremely disappointed with the result and would like to be refunded.

Wish I had seen this complaint board before using Age Defy. I bought the dark brown, followed all instructions, and now have ZERO GREY COVERAGE. To avoid overprocessing I need to use semi permanent color now. I'm thoroughly disgusted and wish I could get a refund.
