Coles Supermarkets Australia large box of dentastix

I foster dogs for Dog Rescue Rescue Newcastle and regularly buy boxes of the Large Dentastix. They have been about $13 for some time (maybe $12 on special). I went to purchase another 6 boxes the other day to discover they had skyrocketed to $17 a box. That's it, out of the shop immediately and am going to shop elsewhere in the future. This is an absolute rip off when I can go to the Reject Shop and get for $12 every day. I intend to put this around on social media and hope that other customers boycott your stores too. I have shopped for many years at the Coles at Edgeworth, but not anymore.

Coles Supermarkets Australia customer service at coles world square sydney

The customer service at self check out is pretty rude. Not friendly, they just focused to finish their job and not smile at all. And after help my problem, she just drop my bag of fruit on the FLOOR. Not put it on the side register.
Also when my friend want to pay at check out, when looking out some coins (30 cents), the cashier not friendly said “ can u do faster?”. What ? We want to pay, not reach out some one hundred pieces of coins.

Also yesterday when I asking for some product that only left 1 on the rack, and it have been ripped. I ask did they still have some stock. The man only saw it a second and said, not that is the last. And walk away. Not bother to pick up that ripped product away .
This is really different from what I saw and done with your coles job stimulation on your website for applying the job.
Most of customer service there is not friendly.
Please supervise and train them how to do the hospitality.

Thank you

Coles Supermarkets Australia coles chicken

Hi
I am complaining regarding Coles chicken which I bought on 18 November 2016. After three hours when I opened the bag of chicken which was too smelly and defiantly it was off. I went to back and return with my money.
I was so disappointed with this because I am buying every week Coles grocery up to $150.00
I hope you will look forward like these type of matters.
Yours cencerely

Coles Supermarkets Australia 20 pack ice blocks, orange, lime, raspberry, lemonade.

The content of the boxes of ice blocks contain far too many lemonade flavoured ice blocks.
Out of the 20 ice blocks in each pack there are now up to 8 or 9 lemonade flavoured ones..
Lets have 5 of each flavour to make it an even mix of 4 flavours.

Great, well priced product that I would like to keep buying..the coloured varieties are obviously my favourite..

Thank you,

Bob McLennan

Coles Supermarkets Australia custard scrolls at coles supermarket floreat wa

We have been buying custard scrolls from Coles at Floreat then recently they have changed... Hardly any custard in them and they are dry and tough.

We enquired whether the store had changed their baker but they said no so why have the custard scrolls changed?

As we only buy them on the weekends for a special treat we are very disappointed.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Coles Supermarkets Australia whole chicken

To whom it may concern, I purchased a whole chicken in your point cook store, when I went to cook the chicken I noticed something weird dripping from the inside. I looked inside the chicken and I seen something really dark red inside so I cut it opened and noticed something very disturbing inside the chicken. It looks like lumbs of redish purple tissue of some sort and a wired looking mucus. I am very disappointed by this I have a young child who would have eaten the chicken and god knows what our family could have got from this. Kind regards colette molloy

Coles Supermarkets Australia meat section - butcher

I went to Coles at Rockingham City on the afternoon of 16/11/16 approximately 2:45pm -3:00pm and was standing at the meat unit with a packet of chops in my hand. The butcher (his name was Chris) came up next me me and neatened up the chops and as he did so he mumbled just loud enough for me to hear saying "it's not that hard" and walked to go out the back and as he did so he then put his hands up in the air looking back towards me. There certainly was no need to act like that as I didn't even mess the packs up. And to be quite honest with you it is just plain rude! As I went through the self serve checkout area I mentioned it to the staff member there and also to the lady who was at the front end in the kiosk area.
Hopefully it was just a one off but as I said " there was no need for his rudeness" and I never spoke back to him whatsoever. I shop there on a regular basis and was quite annoyed at him.
If you wish to contact me back my email address is [protected]@iinet.net.au

Coles Supermarkets Australia purchased meat was "off" and yet still displayed within use by date

On the morning of Friday, 11th November I purchased over $120 worth of food including approximately $50 worth of MEAT for our family. The chicken necks in the photo were for our dog. I purchased 2 of these packs for our dog and both packets were "OFF". This was obvious once opened [the first pack on that same day] and the second pack last night after freezing them that same day. According to the use by date these were clearly in date and should not have intensely smelled the way they did immediately after buying them. They weren't even 'on special' . I shop regularly at Coles and spend at least $100 each time I visit which may be up to two or 3 times a week. I am usually overall happy with the products, price and service, however this time is unacceptable as we fed these to our dog and he was even sick due the obvious reason the food was "OFF". I would appreciate some compensation for not only the money spent and the inconvenience of our dog being sick; but also the dissatisfaction of product and subsequent un-reliance for purchasing groceries from Coles in the future. I trust this will be taken seriously and I will be compensated accordingly. NOT a happy customer!
Regards, Claire Heywood

Coles Supermarkets Australia coles crumbed schnitzel strips

I am writing because this is the 1st time i've been horrified with coles products. Last week i was just about to serve my 4 year old the attached product - see all photos and actually couldnt believe it.
Last Thursday 11th November - product was in date until the 14th/11
I cooked to the instructions the schnitzel.
I only shop at coles in Balgowlah and dee Why in NSW in Australia
this was in the Balgowlah store and food has always been of a high standard
As i was cutting up the meat the crumbed part fell off and i saw what was inside - I immediately through the whole lot in the bin.
Please see attached photos.
incident 10/11
I work full time at Microsoft so dont have time to complain about most things, however this was so appalling I couldnt leave it. There is no way this is chicken.

My email is [protected]@microsoft.com
my phone number is +[protected]
I suggest something is immediately done about this product and I expect some if not a substantial return and compensation - this could have resulted in a horrible outcome for a young girl

Coles Supermarkets Australia customer service and product price

I entered the Coles supermarket for my weekly shop
I saw that the 24 packs of Coles water had a price (a huge sign) saying $5.50 lowest prices and staying down
I decided to purchase 2 packs as I thought it was a good deal.
I then proceeded to the checkout and left
Upon looking at my receipt I saw that the water had gone through at $6.70 each
I then went back into the store to inquire about this and had to wait at the service desk for approximately 20 mins before I was helped. Once I was attended to I explained the situation and the young girl then went to check out the sign
She returns to tell it was for a different product which was 2 shelves up.. I asked why was the sign there then as it was misleading and I asked why I couldn't have the product for the advertised price. She explained that the sign said it was for a different water pack- the written was maybe a size 6 and that part of the sign was covered by the 24 packs of water!
I then asked what she was going to go for me she went and spoke to her supervisor and came back and told me it was back luck.
I left rather angry.

I am utterly appaould at this as I myself have worked in retail for 6 years and this would not have happened the price should have been amended for the error or the item should have been free.
I understand the customer is not always right but being told someone could have just moved the sign was insulting to myself who at the time was dressed in my suit which I wear to work as an accountant.

I spend a lot of money with Coles and find it horrible to be treated with such disrespect as a customer.

I would appreciate a response .

Thank-you for your time.

Besides being told it was "bad luck, " you were treated just fine. It is the responsibility of the customer to look at the sign. This is why signs exist. It is not the store's fault that you did not read their signage. There was no store error here, and the mere suggestion that the product should be free is absolutely ridiculous. Suit or not (a store should not accomodate you based upon your outfit), this was your fault.

Coles Supermarkets Australia four pack of cascade lime and soda

Today on the 15/11/2016 I went into Coles at Caneland Mackay and bought 2 Packets of Cascade Lime and Soda for $4.00, The only reason I didn't buy anymore was because I was walking and waiting to pick up my car after it having a service.
We then drove to Coles in Sydney Street Mackay because my wife was going to buy some more, the items at Sydney St Coles where marked up as 2 for $5.oo, I challenged the lady at the checkout and informed her that we had just come from Caneland and had bought the same items there for 2 for $4.oo, she informed me that the price was what the Manager had put on the items at Coles Sydney Street, We then drove to Coles at Parkside Plaza and the same items where 2 for $6.00, who prices the items at each store as I thought that being on Special that the prices would be the same at every store.

Regards Greg

Coles Supermarkets Australia plastic shopping bags

I collected my plastic shopping bags and when I got out of the car and lifted the bag the bottom of the plastic bag ripped open and a 2L juice hard bottle fell hard into the top part of my foot. I'm in server pain tonight and I find it difficult to walk with shooting pain up my foot and into my ankle. I find it difficult to move my foot side to side. I am in tears with the really bad pain and will be seeing a doctor tomorrow for exam if the foot. The swelling on the top part of my foot is getting bigger. I have taken pictures of the tear in the bottom of the plastic bag and my foot. You have provided a piece of equipment (plastic bag) and it has faulted and now has caused serious injury. Please advise me what you will do about this serious complaint.

I have 8, 976 points and can redeem with a gift card valued at $40.00
I rang flybuys today as I couldn't do it online, they told me my card has been cancelled and my points no longer valid. I have been with flybuys for years now and never had this problem before. I would like the problem sorted out as soon as possible please I think it's very unfair to be told this .

Coles Supermarkets Australia customer service

Whist staying with my daughter I had several shopping trips to Coles Karingal due to its proximity to her home. Each time, no, every time I went through the 12 items or less aisle i or another customer were either ignored, or my conversation was greeted with indifference by serving staff whom were too engrossed in their own with the second staff member. I have been to a lot of Coles stores which were a pleasant experience but this store really needs an investigation of staff customer service. I will now be going to the Carrum Downs store.

Coles Supermarkets Australia customer service

On multiple occasions, I have found the service behind the 12 items or less/service counter to be less than desirable. My last 2 visits where even worse than usual with the staff constantly talking to each other, ignoring the customer and being rude when spoken to. A customer was singled out and humiliated out loud for having more than 12 items and the sniggering and scoughing from the staff was unacceptable.
If this behaviour was a once off experience, I may have let it go but the continuous lack of respect, disgusting attitude and rudeness shown by these staff on a regular basis, particularly by the middle-aged women who appear to be at least in supervisory roles,

needs to be addressed.

Coles Supermarkets Australia duty of care and negligence of staff

Dear Team of Risk Management,

I Rahat Hussain S/O Farhat Hussain DOB 21/03/1978 resident of 10A Maryann Way Tarneit Vic, 3029 a valued customer of Coles super market. I went alone to Coles drove my manual car to Wyndham vale Shopping Centre located in Truganina suburb on main Sayers road 6th Nov, 2016 at 2:30pm to go for routine groceries.

I start my shopping from the Bakery area, i picked up the small orange cake of $2.50 and was going towards the frozen area at the far side near to the liquor shop. I was walking gently on a white Vinyl floor and when i reached near to the liquor shop there was a milk spillage of approx 3 liters, which i haven't seen as i was looking on my right side of the main aisles for promotional items. The spillage was there, i don't have such idea for how long but the area was unattended, UN-marked, no wet signage were placed, no coles staff were there to guide the customers, At approx 14:30 Hours when my right feet was on the spillage I tried to balance out my-self but couldn't and suddenly fall on ground badly with the full load of my body on to the wet floor with my twisted left knee. I start screaming, shouting and looking for medical aid, few of the staff come on site of incident place and asking me “Mate, are you ok” I replied “I think I have got my broken knee, because I heard a click sound from my knee”. They were standing near to me till 15 minutes approx, but no one did anything, even the first aider never approach to me, then one of the Coles female staff approached to me called “Lyndell” who gave me some water to drink. A female customer with her trolley standing near to the incident and watching and she screamed too on my behalf to call the Paramedic Staff also given her details to me for future reference, after a while they brought a wheel chair and without improvise my knee left leg they pulled me up from the ground and put me on the wheel chair, as I was in a stage of pain and took me to the nearest medical centre inside the shopping centre. There were big queues of patients who are in waiting to see GP, therefore, the receptionist of that medical centre refused to take me as an emergency patient and gave me an ice-pack to put on my injured knee. The Coles has a legal “duty of care” towards their customers they can reasonably forecast that space and cleaned the spillage with no time frame as it was really busy floor at the day and time of incident. Ambulance arrived they took to me to the Werribee Mercy Hospital in an emergency department, and given me some pain killer on the way to Hospital. I reached to hospital at 15:27 Hours approx with the Paramedic staff, where they took me to Emergency department and given pain killers. Meanwhile, a doctor assists me and referred me X-ray of my left knee, in which they initially diagnosed that there were no broken bones except the “LIGAMENTOUS Injury” and issued me "Crutches" and referred to GP with requesting for the MRI. I went to see my GP yesterday at “My Clinic Tarneit” he has given me a medical rest till 11th Nov, 2016 with a medical condition “TRAUMATIC INJURY” and referred me for the MRI which I have booked for tomorrow and once I will get a report after 2 days and will share with my GP.

I am a Full-Time employee and working in a manufacturing and production department. Whereas, working as a Security Officers on weekends and most of the time i have a 8 to 10 hours shift where most of the time i spend on standing my feet. My company GM called me today and needs me back on work ASAP whereas they are going to start overtime soon to complete the Christmas orders, if I unable to join my work It means for sure I will lose my big chunk of money. In a stage of my pain in knee, I regularly take pain killers after every 3 Hours depending on pain symptoms. I am in a stage of severe stress, thinking about my future, I cannot go for shopping, I can’t drive my manual car, I don’t have my social life nowadays, in general I am isolate in my own house. pain and in night dreams I am having flash back in dreams which I am scared a lot. I am a single earner of my house which I have more liabilities on me which I need to figure out likewise my credit cards payments, home rent, wife’s expenses, monthly utilities bills, car insurances, my time etc. I have spoken to the concern Coles store manager over the phone daily since the day of incident requesting to please escalate the matter to the management and he mentioned that he already escalated the matter and a representative will shortly call you soon. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive any phone call from the head office.

I am looking for a compensation from Coles ASAP, to bear all my future expenses and to come out from the state of stress and shock.

Best Regards

Rahat Hussain

Coles Supermarkets Australia staff attitude

Today (7 Nov 16 @ 19:19 hrs) I went to the Coles in my neighbourhood to do my usual grocery shopping. At the self chcckout this staff working there, a guy had this superior attitude of looking down at me and a few others. He deliberately stood behind me and around me observing everything I did as if I was stealing! Then when I completed my shopping, paying in cash, he stood near me, arms crossed giving me a sneering look.

What really surprised me, was that there were people purchasing far less than me, less well dressed, some with bags from other places who did not get targeted. Why me? I have been shopping in Coles since 2000 even before he started working there!

What does Coles teach its new staff? Do they have a course at all in customer service? This guy was so obnoxious! What is even funnier is that he originates from a 3rd world nation, probably from a ghetto and coming to this country and looking down on its people. For God’s sake, my grocery bill was probably more than he makes in a day! Coles teach your staff some manners! I am really thinking about switching to Safeway across the road. There, their staff are really pleasant and courteous.

Coles Supermarkets Australia flemington staff

today i went to coles to buy me groceries, and i needed abowl for my breakfast cerial, my wife and i went to the self serve checkout, where we started to put our items through, the person looking after the area was constantly watching everything we put through and when i put the bowl i had up for scanning she said you get bowl, i said yes it`s for my breakfast, she then said that that bowl was the type she would get to feed her cat, so to me she was saying that i was no more than a dumb animal, your employee should keep her opinions to herself, i`m not sure i will shop in your supermarkets again as i have never been treated like this at woolworths, at least at woolworths the staff there don`t watch everything you buy or make comments about what you buy . we finished our shopping at 14.21, 07/11/2016

Coles Supermarkets Australia service

Bought some wraps today at Coles Parabanks Salisbury S.A.
Checked expiry date before purchase and didn't expiry until December.
Got all the way home and realised the wraps were covered in excessive Mould. then had to get my 3 school aged children plus my week old newborn back into the car and drive all Way back to return them.
When I got back to Coles I politely explained the situation and asked if I could exchange them. The staff member was extremely rude and said they were too busy to go get some more and told me I had to return back into the store to get more and then come back and wait in the line like everyone else. So I had to take all my kids back into the store to grab another packet of wraps and as I was walking back to the register, there was another staff member walking back to the wraps section with the wraps I had just returned so obviously they weren't that busy. I then waited with all my kids back in the checkout line to repurchase the wraps.
Might I add that I specifically travel 15 extra minutes out of my way to shop at Coles as I prefer Coles to Woolworths.
I was served by Julie. Register 006. At 13:19pm. 07/11/2016. Receipt number: 3113. Store: 4953 CS PARABANKS
