poor customer service and continuous lies.
I walked into Conns on November 1, 2018 with a 10% off discount voucher and already had a range picked out from internet shopping. It took quite a while to even get an associate to help me. My credit clearly showed I was good for $3, 600---my range was $999 but on sale for $699 and I still had to make a 10% deposit on my range. I stated clearly MANY, MANY times I could take it home myself but they insisted on delivery. I made it clear that delivery had to be after 4 PM because my wife and I both worked. Delivery couldn't happen until Monday. I got a call Sunday night telling me it would be delivered between lunch and 3 PM. Not acceptable. I called and cancelled delivery. Went to store to get my range and NOBODY could give me my pickup slip because their 1995 MS DOS system was locked. This is Monday at lunch now. I get home that evening and the payment book was in my mail box but I had no appliance. I went back to Conn at lunch on Tuesday and demanded to talk to the manager. The Managers were in a meeting. FINALLY a sales rep came to me and asked what was going on. I explained in detail. He went to his desk, pushed a few buttons and gave me my Warehouse Pickup Slip. I will NEVER buy from Conns again.
refrigerator repair
I called to have my refrigerator repaired with the extended warranty. I waited 3 days to get a technician to come out. When he did come out he said he needed to order a part to repair and would be back out the next day to do so. I explained that I had to work and he would have to come in the evening. He agreed and returned the following day and replaced the part. He signed the food loss claim form and the refrigerator is working. My food loss claim was denied because they are saying there is no record of the technician coming out or the part being ordered . They are saying that the technician supervisor is saying someone called and said the refrigerator is working. THIS IS A LIE. Someone in Conn's corporate office needs to investigate this. I have called over 50 times trying to get this issue resolved without answers. I keep getting told that someone will call but I never get any calls. I ask for numbers for someone who can help me and they tell me they are not allowed to give me that information. I will be going to the news investigators for help. Maybe that will get someone to contact me.

Delivered a refrigerator that they broke and never came out to fix and still made me pay a restocking fee to return. I will take this to court. I'm going to better business bureau and all social media local and world wide news. I'm also calling LG to let them know how conns handles their product and makes LG look really BAD! They sent out tech after tech noone ever showed up and when they did they never had the parts they said they ordered. Gave conns one last chance to make it right and they never showed up on 10/3/18. They couldn't even get in touch with the tech but gave me the number to call. I do have photos a d videos but those will be used in court to get my 350 restocking fee. The refrigerator is broken so conns is charging me 350 to restock a broken refrigerator

I purchased a washer and dryer and an Ipad that I returned because it was the wrong product. The sales person gave me permission to return the Ipad. When I returned it, the sales person had a sudden change of heart and tried to force me to keep the Ipad. I left it at the store and walked out. I paid out my washer and dryer contract early so I would not sustain finance charges. I used their cash option and I paid for the restocking fee of the Ipad. Those "con" artists reported my return as an "involuntary repossession and said I owed them $562.00. They have continued to report this negative information to all the credit bureaus and asked various collection companies to try to collect the fraudulent amount. Once I submit to the collection agencies my evidence of payment and the sales option I took and a copy of the recorded conversation I took when the return of the IPad was approved, the collection agencies stop pursing the debt for Conn and close their case. Whatever you do, please do not purchase anything from Conn. They are nothing but crooks and will try to deceive and hurt you financially and credit wise. They have the proper name because they are nothing but "Conn" artists.
lg oven - double oven - clearance section
On September 30, 2018 - I inquired about the oven located in the clearance section. There were signs on top of the clearance section that read, "Take an additional 10% off the clearance price." The manager told me that the 10% was already included in the clearance price. I told the salesman, then why does it say, take an "additional?" The salesman ran my credit and it came back right away approved. I started seeing scratch and dent spots on the oven and asked about those and was advised that they were not going to take any more off the oven. They explained to me that I would receive free delivery and no interest for a year, etc... The salesman finally came back and told me there was an additional 10% off. The the manager came to sit at the computer instead and the salesman watched and had to tell the manager how to run the codes for the entries. The manager told me that there was NO one year interest free, there was NO free delivery and now there was 19% interest, BECAUSE it was in the clearance section! The manager kept trying to include a gas installation kit for $65.00 and an additional plumber's's fee to install the oven. I refused. Then the manager offered a warranty fee on top of the price. I refused, and once I refused, he told me that there was already a one year with LG!
I went and bought the so called "installation kit" from Samons for $12.00 and went to pick up the oven. Their staff brought it out, and I started noticing they were being careful and quiet about something. I got out of my truck and told them that those grates better not have been inside that oven bouncing around when they were loading it onto the back of my truck. After set up inside my house, I looked inside the oven. There was the fifth burner grate sitting inside! Ugh. I never even got an instruction manual, to learn how to work my oven, nor the spray bottle and scrubber mitt! They Con you to purchase and con you right out the door. I like my oven, provided I can cook on it, but never again another sale from the cons.
samsung washer exchange
I went to this store friday september 28, 2018 to exchange my washer per instructions of samsung president, due to the fact that I reinjured my disc disease because the washer was too deep which exacerbated my shoulder and arm to the point of excruciating pain.
The manager brian lemay would not come to assist me in this matter. He sent a sales person who had no clue what was going on.
I waited 30 minutes, brian lemay would not come to speak to me. As a store manager I felt that was horrific customer service on his part.
This is the second time I have problems with this store. The first time I called around august 7 th to speak to the manager paul perez, a guy with a black sounding voice answered the phone and told me paul was in the bathroom. He made me wait 40 minutes on the phone, interrupting and saying "are you still there? Laughing and repeating he's still in the bathroom" I then asked him"is he too busy to speak to a paying customer" and he laughed and said "I guess so". I was calling to address this same issue with the washer, I don't have time to be made fun of on their part.
I realized I was being made the laughing joke of the evening and hung up.
I called customer service today september 29, and spoke to an extremely helpful young lady named kendra who told me that on their end they had approval for a washer and exchange.
I was appalled!
This store is horrible horrible!
I give them a 1 star because there is no 0 star.
I will try to go to a higher up to resolve this matter
frigidaire refrigerator
on approximately Sept 3 2018. I went in look and possibly by a. refrigerator . well I found one that was suitable for my home. It is fridgidare . was delivered to my home on sept5 2018. When delivered it was late and the delivery men had a hard time getting it through the door way . once they got it in they took pictures and set it up for me . Well I did not buy groceries. till Sept 6. Well in the mean time a week later. I notice the bottom was not as cool ad it had been. I turn the temp up with.no results. So when I got off that Sunday I called customer service and they told me a service man would be out on that Monday. well the technician came out 2 days later. Stating that a line was freezing and he had to warm it. and would called back at 600pm. when he did not call. unit was still warm and not working. I called and he called stated he would be out the next morning to check . He made a total of 3 trips. and stated he had to order parts for my brand need refrigerator . I called the supervisor. and she ask me why I did not call with in 72hs. it was working . They would not even consider exchanging for another one. So here it us Sept 24. still no working fridge . All my food I purchased. was ruined. not only I am diabetic. Customer service has no empathy for the consumer. and I am really upset and have not even made my 1st payment. used only a short time a week..
first time buyer
I bought a couch and a recliner and was set to pick up both On Saturday September 22nd, 2018. All I got was recliner and they said it would be here next day. Sunday came still no couch. No one would give me direct answer. I had to drive out there for them to tell me couch was damaged. Why couldn't they do that over phone instead of transferring me over and over and putting me on hold for long periods of time? They have horrible customer service once you inital on their iPad the hell with the consumer. They give a not my problem kind of vibe. They told me next Friday it should be here. I told them just take it off completely. Both manager and salesperson seem incompetent and fail to explain terms and conditions upon signing. You can't even read contract they type in numbers on computer and hand iPad for signature. That's it. Send it to email AFTER ITS BEEN SIGNED. I don't even want the recliner I have now but they told me that I have to keep it or it will do damage to my credit. Conns should change their name to CONNED. I am very unhappy and now stuck with mixed matched furniture. I had better experience with RENT A CENTER. Their teamed was trained and manager knew how to manage instead of standing there like a deer in headlights.

This morning, a technician from Conn's leaves me a message to state he will be at my home to service my microwave between 2 and 5 pm (est.) He never shows, never calls. At 5:15, I call the dispatch center to see if they can contact the technician to see what the issue may be and what time he may, if at all, arrive (the number I called back that the technician called me on did not work.) The dispatcher says she will call him and have him call to leave me a message to let me know what time he may arrive. Okay, fine.
One hour later, still no call. I call the center back again, to see what's the hold up. This time, the dispatcher says to me that the technician cancelled my call, unbeknownst to myself or the dispatch center. At this point, I ask for a manger, I'm bounced around from person to person, none of who can assist. Eventually, an manager gets on the phone and attempts to resolve the issue.
At 7:45 pm I am still currently on hold with these people while they "look for the technician." Now, the manager gets back on the phone and says she will report my complaint and set up a convenient time for me to have my appliance serviced (after I've already taken a day off work and pay their company
repair service tech
My Microwave went out a work order was placed and a Tech Vernie Thomas arrived 08/27/18. Very incompetent requested any bribes to fix my microwave. He stated he needed to order a part, he had no paperwork. The following day he called and advised he needed to come back because he forgot the serial number.
I called CS and to request another Tech to come out on the scheduled date 09/03/18. They stated it was noted on my work order. On 09/03/18 the same Tech Vernie Thomas called stating he would be by between 2 and 4. I called CS again advising NOT to send this tech out. I spoke with the Manager and she stated they would call his Tech Manager to have another Tech come out.
I received another call from Vernie Thomas demanding to know why I requested another Tech to come out.
Very unprofessional and I let him know in not so nice words not to call me asking me anything.
I'm a paying Customer and this is the worse experience I've had in dealing with ANY work order. To this date my isn't fixed.

I recently purchased a LGTV and a bedroom set in April of 2018. Now when I'm made the purchase I was told that the insurance covers damages theft and flooding. So with that being said I decided to use Conn's insurance instead of my own rental insurance. August 21 we had a horrible round of thunder storms and the Vibration knock a mirror of my wall and the mirror knocked my TV of the mantel. I called Conn's and spoke to a rep. The rep told me I was still under warranty and he would send a technician out. I chose a date which was Monday the 27th of August. I received a call from the technician who somehow received the wrong date and had a ticket for Friday the 24th. I had to work that day so I could not be home for him to fix the TV. Monday morning the technician called and said he would be at my home by 8:30. The technician came and upon entering he took on look at the tv and said because of two scratches on the screen he could not fix it under warranty. So I asked about the insurance I've been paying for. He said that insurance does not cover repairs. I would not have used your insurance had I known there wasn't any accidental coverage. I specifically asked the agent what all your insurance covered and said any and all damages and theft. I am still paying on this TV but I can't use it. Not to mention when my bedroom set was delivered it was the floor model from the store. And I know that because when I picked out my the set I noticed the dresser had a crack in the glass. As well as my bed was put together in a rush and a [censored]ty way (excuse my French) when I rearranged my room I noticed there are screws missing and the base broads are crooked. I'm usually not the one to complain but I feel as if I have been lied to and treated unfairly after being charged and still paying on 6, 000 of furniture with out any real insurance coverage and receiveing damaged floor model furniture. Can someone please let me know why I was told the insurance would cover damages and now I'm being told it doesn't.

I dont care how much you need ANYTHING...DO NOT GO TO CONS. I purchased a 75 inch LG T.V. and a Samsung refrigerator. The delivery men assembled the tv and started taking pictures. That guickly got my attention.
They did not wait for me to install the internet, they quickly left my home. I installed the internet and the picture started to show lines and then the screen went black. I have been on the phone with CONS every day, it's like a 2nd job.
I have asked them several times to come get their merchandise but they refuse to come get anything. This is the 2nd biggest RIP off in Texas after the TOLLWAY. I get a call from Cons saying they would replace the tv, then the next day they accuse me of knocking the tv over.
I have called The Woodlands, Beaumont, Hutchins, Plano, I cant get an answer from anyone. Exchange the tv or come get the tv and refrigerator .

Upon detailed review of my account (#[protected]), I discovered that there were several mis-handlings with my account. My sales rep provided me the wrong information about how much it would cost me to pay off my items in a year. Now, I am paying the ridiculous interest fees. After digging deeper, I discovered that I am paying for an item I did not purchase. I purchased a TV and a wall mount. However, my account show me paying for a TV and a desk chair. You have denied me the opportunity to take advantage of the COP option because I'm too late in my understanding. But I need my account adjusted to at least properly reflect the items I have in my possession. My account reflects a white executive chair (ZL049601ECU) for $199.99. It needs to show a Z-line Designs Mounting Kit (ZLMH3660TRS) for $129.99. I appreciate you making this adjustment.
washer/ dryer and conn's customer care
I started having problems with my washer October of 2017. I had to call the repair department every week to make them do there job. I dealt with 3 different companies that had to come out to repair our washer. Nothing they did ever fixed the problem. It took 8 months for them to finally sumbmit for a replacement. Everytime I called the repair department they refused to give me a manager to talk to and just gave me whatever information they could to get me off the phone. A month after we got our replacement washer the dryer fried out after also being worked on 4 times. The fact that you can't get a delivery window when you pay for something is ridiculous. To tell me I have to wait until 9pm to get a call that then tells me when they will be here does not work for people. We plan our lives days in advance. I have had to pay money to go to the laundry mat for a year while also paying for a washer and dryer I couldn't use. This has been a waste of my money and my time

I have recieved letters in the mail from Attorneys about a Lawsuit from Conns for none payment, but I haven't received anything from Conns. I thought I had paid Conns off because I had paid off other debt and I stopped receiving bills from Conns but still received approved credit letters from Conns, which I still currently reciece, but when I realized I didn't pay it off, I called them and let them know that the furniture was destroyed in the Hurricane and asked was there anything that could be done, because I had to repair my house and get new furniture. I have been a loyal customer to Conns and have paid off other accounts. You guys were not even willing to work with me or contact me with a letter stating anything before this took place. We are just finishing repairing our house, now there is a lawsuit that could have been avoided. Need some help please. Thank you.

I purchased three appliances from Conn's consumer appliance store in Katy, TX to be delivered to my home on Saturday 11th 2018 between 10am-1pm the delivery guys were a no show. They have the worst customer service department I have ever seen. They lied and said the delivery guys would be delivering on Sunday and did another no show claims brake problems. Do not buy from these crooks.

In the past 20 days I have first purchased one 75inch lg tv. First tv was broken at the store before i left. Second tv I had to go pick up at wharehouse get it home mount it and it works for a week and cracks on the top right service goes to my home and they tell me its my fault that im outa luck really ima spend 2300 not including mount to break it i call and beg for them to inspect it further they tell me no I explain to them no cracks on outside not even a scratch and they tell me the screen on inside is broke how im telling you it developed and eventually expanded. To prove it i go and buy another tv lg 75 inch even more expensive . get it home mount it and guess what left lower corner has dead spots just like the first tv so i guess i like breaking them . so now what im stuck with useless junk ? What kind of company doeasnt honor at least an exchange to keep consumer happy and paying . im very sad at this point in the cuatomer service that i have recieved and will continue to complain in any channel that i can.
washer and dryer delivery complaint
I purchased a washer and dryer on 7/25/18. It was delivered and set up. The service man did not test washer or dryer. 20 min's after they left we started a load of clothes. Water went all through the house. We immediately called conn's back to send service guy's back. In the meantime we called our insurance company to file a claim. Insurance company advised us to stop conn's at door leave washer and dryer alone we had an emergency call out to agent. Agent would want photos of items and they were not to be removed. Service guys arrived back at home 1 hr later said they would remove washer and reorder another one and they were not responsible for water damage in home. Service guy's were told not to remove washer we were waiting on emergency agent. There response was our manager said we couldn't speak to anyone and we had to remove washer immediately. Servpro came out for 5 day's to try and dry flooring and wall's i have 5, 000.00 dollar's worth of damage! I have called conn's at 12:06, 12:08 and again 12:26 pm on the same day to try and get some help. No one would reason with us! Management is rude and unprofessional. The dryer is still sitting in my home. I have called 3 times for conn's to pick up dryer now they are telling me there is a restocking fee! After my home has been destroyed i get a rude response of they won't pick up dryer i have to deliver it myself and then pay restocking fees. I'm in total shock of the unprofessional service with this company. I'm a paying customer and have been treated poorly. Photos of damage home should already be on file due to a claim being files with Allstate insurance
tv delivered with cracked screen and was not taken out of box during delivery and setup
I purchased a 65" LG tv that was delivered on July 20th, and was not taken out of the box to be set up and checked before the delivery company left and I was not aware of the policy on the time frame to inspect merchandise for damage to report it so approximately 8 days later when the rest of furniture was delivered I opened the box to set up the TV and discovered it was damaged when I powered the screen on...and now I'm being told that there is most likely nothing that can be done because of not Reporting it within 3 days...I was never provided any information about this policy nor did the delivery company care to explain it...
my brand new refrigerator
Purchased my Refrigerator about 6 months ago for $3000.
Thank God I purchased the extended Contract.
After 4 months later, the water comes out warm, all my veggies and fruit are
constantly frozen in the Fridge, and regardless of what button i push, the icemaker
will only disburse crushed ice.
I have made 4 attempts to go online and to make a service call, after I input my
information it comes out incorrect and says I have no account, even i am entering my
information from my on-line account that has my name and info.
After 4 attemps of calling each time on hold for more than one hour, giving up
on each case, I finally called customer service whom put a work order in for me.
Got a call today to state they will be there july 3rd between 8am and 4pm.
Now I have to miss a day of work to get my Fridge fixed.
