I purchased washer and dryer from Conn's in October 2022 with 12 months interest free financing. When I went to the store, they never gave me an invoice because Alex the sales person told me it was going to be e-mailed. I trusted it was but I never got it. After a week, I called several times to request.
I am unsure why we have to call to request, this should have been automatic.
After several months, they finally sent it and learned they had added $700+ of repair service agreement. Had to fill out paperwork to cancel the service agreement. I was told that I had 1 year no interest but looking at my balance and after paying almost 1000 for the last 8 months, my balance does not go down. I then asked and they told me I was late on my payments and not it was voided. None of this was ever explained to me and I was not given the invoice to know they had added this service agreements. I now had requested a detail of how my payments have been applied even if there were some late fees but until today, they have not sent me the details of my payment history. I DO NOT have access to see the details of the account. They now say my interest is 26% and has been added, the payoff is $2100. I have been calling almost everyday to request the details of my account and nothing. They keep saying they will e-mail it but that has been over a month now. What are our rights, what can we do? This is all deceptive practices. All I have been able to do is make a payment online. I can't see any details of my payments and account to be able to manage it effectively.
