direct tv salesman
Can we please do something about the annoying directv salesman who pitch/harass me every single time I come in to shop at the Glen Allen location in Richmond VA? I can't even look at tv's without being harassed due to the simple fact that they hover over me while I'm browsing then proceed to try to pitch me about their "deal". It kind of makes me not want to renew my membership knowing they'll be there every single day!

Had a very terrible experience over the phone with a supervisor. For the past 3 months I had to call customer service for dispute over my bill. After a long wait I was finally transfer to a supervisor and she was very rude and unprofessional and she even hang the phone on me and my bill was not corrected and I am still being bill for incorrect amount.
swanson chicken broth
Costco has discontinued Swanson Chicken broth. I use A couple of cases every month. This brand tastes good and the cans it comes in are recyclable. I might become accustomed to the Kirkland Organic Chicken Stock taste, but it and the only other chicken broth you carry now comes in tetra packs that are not recycled anywhere. Please bring back Swanson Chicken Broth or something in cans. I will not buy a large amount of any product where I cannot recycle the packaging. Cans are the most recyclable material for packaging, PLEASE bring them back for this product.
wait to check out
I was in the Sandy Utah store 5/22/17 at 6pm. There were 4 check stands open and as many as 8 baskets in line at each one. The wait was unacceptable but what was even worse is when i mentioned to the clerk and supervisor that the lines were unreasonable. This is Costco and should have more check stands open than 4. The Clerks answer to me was " You need to take a chill out course". To me that is unacceptable behavior towards your customer and i have a hard time believing your management would sign off on this kind of conduct. Incidentally, the supervisor standing there agreed with me and understood my position.
Thought you should be aware of how i was treated for giving constructive criticism...absolutely horrible in my books. There are many other grocery stores in town who treat the customer much better than this.
carlsbad warehouse shopping cart emptied by employee!
My shopping cart was emptied by an employee named Kelli, while shopping at Costco 5/22/2017, 8:10 pm at their warehouse located at 951 Palomar Airport Rd Carlsbad, CA 92011. At 8:08 pm, I parked my cart (full of fresh meats, chicken, vegetables, liquor, and jar items, to walk a round trip to retrieve two loaves of bread (a minute and half trip). When I returned, my cart was nowhere to be found. I went up and down 5 aisles, only to find an employee named Kelli pushing it (now empty, except for the peanut butter jars in the exact location I placed them in the cart) back to where she stole it, to restock that. Caught red-handed, I questioned her, and she admitted taking it from that aisle. I stated how upsetting it was, that I could not possibly restock all the items in time to check out now. But I did let her know that as a Consumer Advocate, I was the last person to do that to, and that this event will be posted on all my sites (with only 310, 000, 000 readers in four languages worldwide), as well as a complaint to Costco corporate in Kirkland, Wa. Her reply was: "Oh, do you not like Costco?" Was this some feeble-minded manager there attempting to shave some time off the clock by restocking items from carts ASSUMED to be abandoned BEFORE their patrons are out of the store? Wait until their owner Jim Senegal finds out about this piss-poor customer service. I should have made her manager restock every item in my cart and bring it to the front to ring my out. What a lack of common sense, and poor policy of treating people like sheep. I would have had plenty of time to gather my last two things and check out by 8:15 pm, but I walked out. I will have to make a second trip (this time to a different warehouse tomorrow to gather everything again. This time, I will be using a bicycle cable lock to lock my cart to the many metal vertical posts on their commercial warehouse shelving, should I need to walk more than 9 feet from it.

I recently shopped at Costco using the new cart. It is so tall - that it is virtually impossible for someone with my height to push this cart through the store. Every strength leverage point on my body was used incorrectly. The crossbar for pushing the cart is at my shoulder level. Imaging how difficult it was for me. I came home and my back hurt, my knees hurt, my shoulders were killing me and my thumbs - which had been previously sprained - throbbed.
Sadly, I will no longer be able to shop at Costco unless my husband comes with me to push the cart. How humiliating for a feminist who doesn't want to rely on a man for a simple thing like shopping.
FYI - when I spoke with other short people at Costco, they complained about the same thing. Costco is not worth a trip to Physical Therapy.
What do you have against short people - or did not one consider this? How very sad indeed.

Today I went to Costco to take my passport picture. When it was my turn to take it I had to deal with a rude employer named Jamie Rae. She did not allow me to smile in my picture and when I asked why she ignored me and rolled her eyes. I repeatedly tried to get her attention but she continued to ignore me. She went on to print my picture and did not seem concerned with me whatsoever. From my understanding we are allowed to smile in our passport picture as long as it is not over the top. I would have appreciated if she allowed me since I am paying for the picture and it is not against the rules. As a loyal customer of Costco I have never dealt with this type of poor customer service. She could have handled the situation in a profession manner instead of denying my rights and treating me less of a priority.
supervisor service I was provided with was horrible!
The supervisor here at the Costco located at 7100 n Abby North Fresno, CA 93720 alongside side one of the employee was terribly rude and not willing to help assist on a return. The supervisor name was Bethany and and the employee was name Danny. Both gave the customer rude looks and rude remarks and stated that they could not return my purchase back to my debit card and can only be given back as cash. I did multiple returns at Costco and never had an issue until I was helped by these two rude employees of Costco.

I'd like to know why you selected Citi Visa for your new credit card company. I am Deaf and my wife is hearing. I am the one who opened the account and added my wife. But they will not talk with her when we have a problem. We use the charge card like our ATM. We even charged our kitchen remodel costs on this card. My wife called them to tell them there would be large charges on the card for our remodel. When my wife ordered a sink from FL, the charge would not go through. A fraud message came up. So my wife called. But they wouldn't talk to her they had to talk to ME. But I have to use TTY to call and it takes a very long time to communicate that way. I gave them permission to talk to my wife but they said they HAVE to talk to me! It's ridiculous. When I asked them to put her as the primary card hold, they said they can't. So I typed on tty that she will open her own account and we will close this account. The next day we go to use the card and it was declined. My wife called only to find that they had closed the account! We have tried to get it reopened but they give me the run around. Now we have lost over $350 cash back because they closed the account. I refuse to open another account with them. They are ridiculous! Get rid of them! Use someone else...PLEASE. They don't deserve Costcos business.

I have been a customer from Costco's optometry department for over 10 years. The employees are also very nice and actually listen to the type of contacts and degree I want. DIEGO was extremely pompous, rude, and horrible listener that continued to type in the wrong order after muitlple times of me trying to calmly tell him what I actually wanted. He proceeded to accuse me of telling him me that "I was confusing him" when in fact he didn't know what he was doing or cared about actually listening to what I wanted. Then when he realized he was wrong (for the 5th time) he finally got nicer. He then forgot to give me my prescription back and never once said sorry about his arrogant, rude, and unprofessional customer service behavior.

I am shopping from costco for many years and I love going there. But today I was very disappointed with the behavior of the helper standing on the register. Her name is gabrielle. She was helping tatiana. My cart accidentally touched her and she got so rude. I even said sorry but she said pack ur stuff urself. I had kids with me so I didn't want to create scene therfore I ignored her but she was really very disrepectful. This kind of behavior is totally unacceptable. And it will cost costco it's good loyal customers.

I visited Costco warehouse store in North riverside on May 20 2017, Il, I am trying to find the coconut cookie(item 167434), which should be available based on the monthly coupon flyer, however, I couldn't find it in the store, I asked several costco employee, and one told me to check aisle 301, so, following her suggestion, I checked aisle 301, but I could not find it. another one told me to check aisle 303, I checked, it was not in there, then the third one told me to ask the person in red jacket working in the service desk, so I go to the desk and ask that lady and she told me the cookie was near the cooler area, I went there to check, it was not in there, then I came back to the service desk, the lady ask one employee to find the cookie for me, so I wait and wait, then the guy came back and ask me for the item number to check whether it was available, then he told me there should be 200 bags hiding in somewhere in the store, he will keep to find it for me, I am very appreciated for his help and keep waiting, finally he came back with nothing, then the lady in red jacket told me the cookie was not available in the store. When I heard this, I feel so bad since I had been walking around and keeping waiting for more than two hour, if anyone in the store told me the truth and issued me a rain check, I will feel happy to leave. But after keeping the customer for two hour, then saying it was not available, that apology was not acceptable. so I terminated my costco membership immediately as My answer to their service. My suggestion to Costco is, their employee should be trained well and realize that "anyone's time is valuable". My feeling is their service attitude went down and down. I hope this could draw attention to the Costco CEO.
terrible customer service
I have been a patron of Costco for many years but this was the first time leaving Costco in a terrible mood. Cashier Rossmar at the Hawthorne location was very rude and degrading.
One example of his rudeness was when I was trying to explain to him that I had two orders/items that needed to be paid separately, he snapped at me saying "i got it". It was the kind of attitude a teenage boy would give to his nagging parents. Am I his parent? No.
Other examples include subtle actions/words that hinted his hatred towards all customers and at working as a cashier in Costco.
If his attitude was only towards me, I would think that maybe I did something wrong. However, his rudeness was directed towards other customers as well. There was a problem with the customer before me and the cashier, Rossmar, constantly had an angry expression and ignored the customer. The customer couldn't do nor say much because her english wasn't proficient.
Not only his attitude towards the customers, it also seemed like he didnt care much about the duties and responsibilities of his job. Instead of doing his job and making sure the customer had a decent experience, he fooled around with the other worker bagging the items.
I am not expecting workers to be perfect nor am I expecting them to treat us like royalties. However, they should at least treat customers with respect. This man seemed like he had anger issues as he replied to my questions bluntly and angrily.
I originally wasn't planning on voicing my complaint on here. I was planning on writing down my complaint on one of those complaint papers Costco have in case of situations like these. However, the answer I received after waiting around 20min for the workers to look for them was that they did not have any more of those papers.
I understand maybe they were too busy and understaffed to restock the paper but it just furthered my terrible mood and now here I am complaining to you.

Ordered a combo pizza & three chicken bake.. after 40 minutes of waiting and watching everyone else get their food I went to ask if my order was ready. Turns out they never even prepared a combo pizza & wanted to give me half of the one that was sitting on the display. I asked for a refund & they only wanted to refund the pizza when they hadn't given me the chicken bakes.. very bad service.

On Saturday, February 11, 2017, I went into Costco store to return a cell phone that I purchased from the cell phone department. I bought the cell phone as new at this Costco branch and was returning it because it was malfunctioning. I went to the cell phone department and they gave me a new phone and told me to go to check-out to finish the process. As I was going to the check-out counter, a female Costco employee proceeded to (1) stop me; and, (2) ask me did I come from the outside and did I get in the store without a member's card, wondering if I was in the process of stealing the phone. First, Costco has very strict security. A person cannot enter a Costco location unless he/she present his/her Costco card, which includes a photo I.D. The employee automatically assumed that I was stealing the phone because of my ethnicity (I am an African American male). Second, any products purchased in the store cannot make it past the check-out counter without having your receipt check by a person when you leave. So, she made false assumptions. If she still works there, I can identify her. As far as resolution, I was insulted and humiliated, so I am looking for fair damages (punitive).

I went into the Turlock, ca Costco on Thursday afternoon (1:30)with my 3 kids just to get waters& milk. My daughters love coming to Costco they get excited...especially for the samples. We walked by the pretzel samples and the lady was really nice, talkative and really selling the pretzels. Across the way was the Giradelli samples and I was there litterllay 3 feet away and my 4 year old daughter that followed my 11& 9 year olds. All while watching her. I figured since it was not a hot item she would be okay with keeping an eye on her since she was just 3 feet way. Well my daughter was excited that she got her own brownie and it fell as she tuned to walk back towards me. I walked towards her and picked up the brownie and threw it in the trash and as I did that the sample lady looked at me as if I did something Extremely bad telling me I should be with my kids at all times when getting samples. I was taken aback because I was not rude, I picked up the mess and I was there watching my daughter who feels she can do everything her older sister can do and then have someone make me feel so bad was uncalled for! What really made me upset was the way and tone she said it. I did tell her I was right here with my other kids and she didn't have to say it so rude! I also work in customer service and there are ways to say certain things and when it comes to peoples kids and a stranger saying something it really can bother.
Costco can be extremely crazy at times and it just seems odd because I ALWAYS see kids grabbing samples on there own also because it can get crowded and now this lady says something! Just ruined my Costco trip today! Customer service needs to on check! Especially when members pay $$ a year.

The lady selling the membership told me if I bought the $100+ membership the next yr. I would receive a $70. CK to pay toward my new membership. I told her I didn't have time to read the fine lines, and she assured me she was telling the truth. Well, I received a check for $11. Cause I didn't read the info, and that's okay. I will never renew my membership. I already have a new membership with Sam's and I already like it so much better. Thanks

Today, I was picking up a pair of $400 frames which Costco optical had put lenses in. I noticed they had made a tilt of about 20 degrees in the frame. When I complained, the attendant took some big plyers to them to fix it, but after a lot of bending the wires back and forth, she made it into a 30 or more degree tilt. I told her that she's made it worse and too much playing could break the delicate frame. She said "well you know the Costco policy if that if we break them, you'll have to pick one of our frames". In other words, she was threatening me to shut up and that take what they were giving me. I find this appalling and abusive behaviour from a Costco employee.
found a foreign object in butterball ground turkey
On 5/1/17 I purchased a butterball ground turkey 4-pack at the Costco at 517 117th st Manhattan NY. The meat was frozen in my freezer chest. On 5/17/17 I thawed the a pack of ground turkey and while seasoning the meat for preparation I found a paperclip. I have never had any problems with
