I had a Cuisinart Coffey Maker SS-15 through Walmart on 12-28-23. It arrived and I set it just as Cuisinart said. It made coffee, but the low water light would not come on. I returned it to the Walmart in Lindale TX and ordered another one. It arrived on 01-06-24. Once again, this one had a problem. The low water light would not come on. I returned it to Walmart and ordered another one. It arrived on the next week, but just as the other two, there was a problem with this one. The clock would gain fifteen minutes every hour. I returned it also, and this time I order a different model, the SS-16 from Cuisinart. IT also has a problem. The clock will not stay lite up. It goes off about 5 to 10 minutes after the coffee is made plus the carafe heater goes off as soon as the coffee is made. It is set to stay on for two hours, but it doesn't.
Now I contacted Cuisinart customer and talked to a very rude lady about getting a new one. She said I had to cut the cord on the coffee maker, take a picture of it, email it to cuisinart and then they would send me a new on in about ten days. This is not acceptable. That would mean we would have to do without coffee for ten days. I guess we could drive to the gas station about one mile away and pay $2.00 per cup of coffee for my wife and myself. The problem with this is we are both in our 80's. I just had cancer surgery a couple of weeks ago and I am restricted from driving for two more weeks, plus my wife is going through cancer treatments also and doesn't get up very early. With all the problems we have gone through with your coffee makers, there should be some way to get one to me, or if you just refund my money, I will go and purchase a different brand and maybe it will be ok.
Desired outcome: Send me a new coffee maker and then I will send the old on back.
