I have been going to the same CVS for all of our families needs for over 25 years and just this past year, after spinal and neck injuries, I've been going to pain management. I take a very low dose of an opiate and have been treated less than human. After calling the corporate office last month, miraculously my prescription that was 3 days late, was ready. This month however, it's been out of stock at every CVS in the area for 9 days. If I ask any questions I'm treated like a drug addict and have seen the eye rolls and was even told to " just take Tylenol, it's not that serious "something must be done as the Hipocratic oath they took is not being followed
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a response that's respectful, an apology and a positive result.
CVS #5187
I have a grievance with your company several months ago. I received a letter saying CVS had said that they do answer the phone. That is a deceptive answer, they answer only provider calls. Customer calls do not go through. I have brought it up with the staff at my CVS and the answer is...if we answered the phone we would get nothing done. Really? Why are...

I went to my normal scheduled Dr. appointment 04/04, Dr. ordered my 2 standard drugs which normally gets piced up and paid for same day within a good time frame there at a local CVS Pharmacy. This time my 1 drug was delayed 1 day due the excuse of Insurance. my 2 nd drug now, late is due 12th.
Was originally said to be picked up 8th, 11th, now 12th. all due to Insurance reasons. As of today 10th ,I called Coporate help line at [protected] for assistence... Did not feel good about this as its still due on the 12th.
Good Luck for those waiting for your needed RX to be filled. Understand not all CVS Pharmacies are bad at customer service, but generally, CVS is going downhill.
Desired outcome: I and others would appreciate better customer service and not be led a stray by excuses. Patrons need their RX filled when the Dr. calls it in from your appointments, not at the convenience138 of a stressed pharmacy staff.
Photos/order never received
I dropped off a disposable camera at the CVS location located in Galt, CA around early February. I was told it would take 3-4 weeks to get my photos returned. I have used this service before at this same location in the past, so I was well aware of the turnaround time and waited for the call I told I would receive once my photos came in. 5 weeks went by with no call from the store. I decided to go in store and ask about the status of my photos. I was told that the photo center was undergoing a remodel and an associate offered to check the back of the store to see if she could locate my order. I was told nothing was there under my name. Another two weeks go by with no update so I called the store. Over the phone the associate told me that because of their remodel the status of my photos was unknown and didn't even ask for my name so she could go check. I was told to call back in another two weeks to see if the remodel was complete. This was frustrating as I was not made aware upon dropping my camera off that such remodel would be happening. If I had been informed of this, I would have simply dropped my camera off at an alternate location. I called the customer service line on March 31st and was told my photos were received by the store around February 17th. Far before when I went in person to check for myself. On March 31st I also requested a form of compensation and was given a claim number (S8360368) and was told that the district would reach out to me within 24-48 hours. As of today, April 9th, I have received no such call. I was told my photos could be sent to a different store location to be printed and picked up. I requested them to be sent over to the CVS store at 100 W Lodi Ave, Lodi, CA. I was told they would be printed no later than April 3rd. I called Yesterday (April 8th) to confirm they were ready for pick up, only to be told there was no photos there under my name! This back-and-forth hassle has been beyond frustrating and completely unnecessary! I am beyond disappointed in the customer service I have received. As these were on a disposable camera it is not like I have the originals that I can just go print them at a different company. I trusted your company with my personal camera and do not even have that.
Desired outcome: I would like to get my photos emailed to me. At this point I do not trust they will ever be printed by your company. If they do have to be printed at your company, I want and expect them to be 100% compensated for. [protected]@gmail.com
Message regarding hydrocodone 5 mg-acetaminophen 325 mg tablet
I am going to try this again. I have tried to write this complaint only to have it disappear just as I am finishing it. On 4/4/2023 my doctor sent in a prescription for me to have Hydrocodone-acetaminophen for pain. I was first told it was in process by CVS. Next day told it was out of stock and they ordered it 4/4/2023. I could pick it up on Friday 4/7/2023, again this was untrue. Today I called and was told they had this medication on order for months (which I was never told). On the website it says to contact CVS to find out another one that has it in stock. Now I was told today that was not true even though it is right there on the website. In order to get it from another pharmacy I would have call the doctor that had already sent in the prescription. Why is it my responsibility, the patient to call the doctor and have him send in another prescription? Now, it is the weekend and I am still in pain with no help from the pharmacy that is suppose to have the prescription. Just don't understand why I am responsible for all this. Please help me!
CVS CarePass
I joined CarePass because I am disabled and do not drive. CarePass worked until March 2023;
CVS refuses to deliver physician prescribed "supplements" that are "over the counter (OTC)" products. (If you have an illness that requires certain supplements they are covered under some plans).
Prior to March 2023, CVS did mail my prescription supplements.
When I call my local CVS I am told two answers.
• My insurance will not allow delivery.
• CVS corporate policy prohibits delivery under its CarePass plan.
I called my plan & was told they no rule that prohibits delivery by CarePass.
If it is merely a "new policy" they are,in bad faith, breaking their contract. Does anyone know a good lawyer?
Desired outcome: CVS should honor their CarePass contract.
Customer service
After my daughter and me left her 2 hr doc appt, we waited 30 minutes before picking up the prescription. Upon arrival, a slim female cashier with dirty blonde hair, dressed in navy blue, told us it would be ready in 20 mins so we sat and wait. Another customer was also seated ahead of us. When her order was ready, she was called then told to come to the front of the line to pay (there were 3 customers in line). 30 minutes passed before our name was called; however, we were told to wait in line in order to pay (there were 4 customers in line). I said how come the lady before me got to skip the line but two associates looked at each other instead of responding. Therefore, I took my non-prescription item to the main register and checked out. My daughter and me then proceeded through the drive-thru lane (we were third car back). When it was our turn after 10 mins, Aiden the male cashier also dressed in navy blue waited on us. My daughter's name is Madilyn, I spelled it and said it 2 times, and he still kept repeating it as Harriett (no where close to Madilyn). It's concerning to me Aiden interacted with his female co-worker and they kept turning around and laughing/mocking in front of us. I recommend they both receive appropriate respectable behavior training because this is not how workers should be acting. When I asked Aiden for his co-workers name, he said he didn't know. They obviously knew each other since they were making fun of us. This childish behavior and inconsistent customer service is unacceptable. No one should be treated like this when they are feeling bad. Feel free to contact me with questions.

Pharmacy
The Pharmacy on 58th and Central Ae in St Petersburg FL 33710 is the most aggravating pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. Two things I always ask for:
1) Pop Tops No children in this residence.
2) Maintain the correct Manufacturers month to month.
3 )Have them ready on time not three weeks after I called and was out of my meds.
They can't follow these simple specifications. I am so diappointed.
Desired outcome: Correct meds on time, and use pop tops, and make sure the Manufacturer is correct.
seeking reimbursement from cvs 17120 chagrin blvd. shaker heights, oh #3346
2nd REMINDER: December 29, 2022
3rd REMINDER: April 4, 2023
Dear CVS Pharmacy Managers and Accountant:
Greetings!
RE: CVS Pharmacy 17120 Chagrin Blvd. Shaker Heights, Oh #3346
I still need your help in securing my refund caused by my paying through the CVS app and not being able to pick up the medication order before it was restocked. Your records revealed that I had received my medications – this was not the case. The pharmacist (Shelby most helpful but limited) she agreed after researching my case ... that my order was restocked. But my credit card payment to CVS was received and recorded.
It’s been since September 2022. You confirmed for me the error. I am disabled due to back to back strokes. I use may credit cards for my life expenses as I am on a fixed income and my medications are very expensive.
Can your service please help me correct this $478.71 error. Merrick Bank (xxx8731) advised me that my refund had to come from your offices. I have called, left messages with the person at #3346 who answered the phone. I’ve spoken to several agents with the Debit Credit Department. Same recommendations for the store reimbursement responsibility. Unfortunately, I am still waiting for my solution. CVS Debt Credit Department: REFERENCE# S7000303.
Please help me remedy this situation. This is so unfair to me. Please!
Sincerely,
Jocelyn Brown-James

Desired outcome: Refund and notification of said action in writing.
Refusal to transfer a prescription. Rude employee
Since the beginning of March I have requested the CVS located at 25th Main Streets in Richmond, Va. to transfer a prescription to another pharmacy due to cost. Today I checked with the receiving pharmacist for the third time and they still have not received the prescription. So today I called to request the transfer again. Only this time I had the unpleasant opportunity to speak with Amiri who initally refused to give her name. I asked her to transfer the prescription again 2 weeks ago and she stated she would do it and it should take about 72 hours.
Well today I go to pick the prescription up from the pharmacy she supposedly transferred it to weeks ago. They had no record of it and asked me to call the pharmacy again for the transfer. Well Amiri answered only this time she insisted the pharmacist at the receiving store need to call them. When I asked her about our first conversation of her transferring the prescirption weeks ago she became very combative and rude. She stated " I am glad you're leaving and people like you need to stop calling here.
Desired outcome: Respect and courtesy and do the job they were hired for.
Nature Made Calcium Tablets
The sign in CVS by all the Nature Made vitamins read, "Buy one get one free". I checked my receipt and was charged for the 2nd container of calcium. The clerk then informed me it was not under the promotion. This is completely false advertising on CVS' part. The clerk made the comment i would be charged with stealing if i took the 2nd bottle out of the store. I simply questioned the inaccuracy of the advertising. At no time did i state i was taking the product from the store. Also, I returned another two items and was told the computer could not process my receipt for those returns even though both items were on that receipt. Then magically the clerk told me the returns were being processed. Then I was told the credit card used for the returns with the last 4 digits was not being accepted. I used another card and the return went through. This clerk was extremely rude. I have shopped here because of the friendly, polite clerks. I won't return to CVS if I am ever treated this way again.
Desired outcome: I would like to speak to the regional manager about my experience.
Unethical behavior of pharmacist/staff
Some people are telling me I can just do walk-ins for Covid Vaccine at CVS. I wanted to make sure, so I called the CVS Pharmacy #9643. A man answered the call and greeted "Von Associate" (I'm not sure if that's his name) I started to ask him if they do take walk-ins for Covid Vaccines, he answered in an annoyed and rude tone. After his answer, I still "Thanked" him but then he just dropped the call with no address or a "closure remark". I am just concern of your Company if this is the kind of behaviors of people you have working for your corporate as they might give you even more serious issues in the future like lawsuits, Hope you take actions for your Corporate's sake.
Desired outcome: Disciplinary Actions on your Unethical Staff/Pharmacist.
Stolen medication
PSA, for any pharmacists filling in at this location and for any patient that gets any controlled substance to count your pills in the drivethru or at the counter. Medication was picked up for a family member, but it was stolen. This is not the first time, about a year and a half ago medication was stolen. It was checked after leaving the pharmacy and half was missing. It was detected outisde the cvs parking lot. One of the pharmacists Jeremy Gai Haing Wong, has it in for me. I turned him in to the board of pharmacy for his disrespectful behavior and threatening me. He was at the Fresno and shaw location at the time. He threatened me, and told me he would put me in the system for all CVS to not fill one of my meds, and he'd get me black balled from all CVS locations and refused to fill one of the meds I had at the time. This was because one of my meds at this location was stolen. This all started with one of my pills being missing, from the last time I had picked up my prior medication about 4 years ago and I addressed it to him. He's had it out for me ever since and my family members. That was enough, so I reported him and I left that location. The location I go to now is the one hes been transferred to, unfortunately, where these recent pills went missing. Im telling you right now, there is a pattern with this store, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but don't do that. Last month there was 2 pills missing and I didnt make a big deal about it, but it was the same staff on duty from a year and a half ago. It was the same 2 employees and this 1 particular pharmacist was gone. They would not text when medication was ready. There are certain other things I will not discuss on here, because I'm giving the theives too much information. This is a warning also to pharmacists that fill in. Each time these things occured, I kept all pill bottles, even the ones from a year and a half ago, the one from last month and this month, and there all different pharmacists that were filling in, it was not the regular pharmacist. Each time the med was stolen, there was another pharmacists name on the pill bottle, even if Jeremy Wong the pharmacist was on duty. And I know the two techs as well, including their full names, but ill wait. The main thing here is, this is an inside job. I waited to get the store manager Joseph Yang, Jeremy Wong the pharmacist and pharmacy manager Brian Wong, which I cant affirm to, but was told allegedly by other pharmacy staff they are related. With this store location, they lied to me and tried to pretend that the pharmacy manager was gone, but Jeremy went to the back, and then I addressed the issue with the missing pills and he showed me a paper with a pill count, but thats part of their cover up, and I was going to report this to the police. Come to find out both managers were in the back lieing and they were there, as Jeremy told me Brian was gone and wont be back until after 2, and that he didnt know if the store manager was even there that day, but Joseph and Brian were in the back of the store. Joseph then lied to me and told me that Brian is gone to lunch and will return sometime after 2 and that I can go home. When I told him to check cameras, he told me he cant. Joseph yang tried to get me to leave the store. They didnt do their so called audit until I told them im going to call the cops right now, as I was argueing with Joseph and Brian. I was given a sheet stating that the pills were there, so they claimed the audit was correct. They tried to say me or my family is lieing. When i was on the phone reporting this situation, joseph the manager had enough nerves to ask me who I was on the phone with. Then another manager was mean mugging me and rolling her eyes at me trying to listen to my phone call. After Joseph and Brian stated to me the audit was correct, they didnt replace the stolen pills. Joseph and Brian then walked away when I told them about checking cameras and for them to know who the theif is. They refused to check the cameras and both managers were there so idk who all was in on this, but this was def an inside job. Im stating, for the record, if there is any retaliation after this, you will be hearing from someone. This is dealing with the feds and a controlled medication. Try to slander and lie in any capacity on me or any of my family members, and wait who you hear from. Your pushing the blame on my family. We know now the pills were stolen, not missing. I was told the audit for the pill count was not off. You stole from someone that has a severe medical condition and that has had tremendous loss. They could have rectified the situation by checking cameras, wouldn't you want to find the theif? But you have beef jerkey locked up? Both managers were there AND Loss Prevention was present, according to Joseph, but he claimed and i qoute, "this takes deep diving". They refused to check cameras and wanted me to go home. I'm waiting for retaliation from you guys, once again.
Customr service
Went in to pick up a script and had to use the bathroom I asked one of the employees that were on the floor stocking shelves for the key and she was really rude to me and sent me to the front of the store when no employee was at the front of the store to help me. I have been a loyal customer of CVS for many years and I have never been treated this way by an employee.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology.
Picking up photos
I want them go out of the business.
Terrible.
First time I ordered prints they sent the photos to a store two mile more driving, I didn't check the store location, so they just sent them to a store two miles more driving as default store.
So this time I specified which store but when I drove up there, they were not.
they refused to call other stores to find out where I can pick up.
I went to the default store but they are not there either, so where they are I asked, they don't know either and they are not find it out either.
I asked them the direction to the other stores possibly have them but it was refused as always.
I came home and checked which stores they are supposed to be, and only to find out they went to the store I specified(first store I went)
Desired outcome: I want them to tell me which store I should go to to pick up the photos without driving around.
CVS Health lubricant eye drips for mild to moderate dry eye
I need the list of the CVS Health lubricant eye drops recall. I have made 4 telephone calls today to no avail. Please send me the lot numbers that are being recalled.
These were purchased over the counter at CVS Karwick store in Michigan City, Indiana.
This requires immediate attention.
Sorry this can't be any longer to accommodate your site.
There is no help online either!
Desired outcome: A response as soon as possible
CVS did not have my monthly medicines which cause me have withdrawals
the CVS Ardmore store gets my prescriptions fr. RELIEVEUS every month. I went to pick up my meds on 3/24/23. They did not HAVE my meds in stock. When I check [protected]@CVS the message says, "Out of Stock" If you need your RX today, contact your pharmacy to find a nearby location with your medication in stock.
Not done by the tech or pharmacist. I was told we don't have it in stock. We don't contact other pharmacies for you. I know from past calls to other CVS Pharmacies, they will not give lay persons any information about Narcotics meds. Withdrawls Saturday thru Monday & possibly Tuesday, I am horrified. I was told to check back on TUESDAY. With NO regard for my well-being. CVS did not try to find another pharmacy for my meds. I am a senior that has chronic pain from 2 failed back surgeries, an inability to walk correctly bc of a gait problem. I have pins thru-out my T-spine, my L-spine including my pelvis.
Whoever orders Narcotics should be responsible for meeting the customers who come every month with the same prescriptions.
Desired outcome: CVS Ardmore pharmacy to at least try to find a pharmacy stock now.
Never answer the phone
I have been calling this Pharmacy for 2 days and no one answer the phone are pick up the phone I have to get a ride to go there but when I go, they say my medicine is not ready and I don't think it's fair for them to not pick up the phone. I am senior Citizen, and I can't afford to catch a ride just to see if my medicine is ready when they can tell me...
