rx insurance
I've had diabetes for some years now, and it's getting near impossible to get my meds at a price I can afford. I'm always told getting my required diabetic meds is easy...FOR WHOM? Not for ME!
Prices have been skyrocketing so bad, my basic bills are now larger than my paychecks! This leaves me out of luck for my meds. I called my health insurance who said to call my Rx insurance, which is Caremark. Caremark told me "we don't do that". Which means they DO NOT help customers in need, to find the drugs they need at a price they can afford.
What DOES Caremark do? Take your money and lie to you. Thats it. I even had one of thier pharmacists SCREAM at me because SHE screwed up my meds with someone elses, and refused to fix it or refund my money! Of course CVS couldn't be bothered.
I switched all of my drugs to a different pharmacy, and now all CVS Caremark does is give me excuse after excuse after excuse after excuse as to why they CANNOT do their job, help me, or get me the meds I need at a price I can afford!
Another corrupt company thats only in business to get into your wallet. They don't care about anything or anyone else.
Desired outcome: Go out of business!
Pharmacy department
For over 2 years, the pharmacy department has not billed my health provider for my test strips. When I pick up the test strips, I am informed of the cost, and I have to state that I am not to be billed for this script, and then I am informed to go to the consultation line to have it corrected, and then go back to the pickup line to get my test strips. I have asked why this cannot be corrected, and I am informed that it cannot be corrected. I have contacted CVS Corporate twice, and both times I was informed that my complaint was closed, once by Niraj Brahmbhatt and then by Mitesh Shah. I finally got a phone call back from Michael Pinto and was informed that he had spoken to the pharmacy department and asked them to note the issue and have it corrected before I picked up my strips. As of today, the CVS on Harbison Ave. and corporate have not corrected this issue and are not doing their job.
Desired outcome: The desired outcome is for the pharmacy department to do their job so I do not have to go back and forth to pick up my prescriptions, and for the corporate department to do their job and keep their word.
3/27-picked up test strips, had the same issue with pricing, and was requested to stand in multiple lines before billing was corrected. I refused to go back and forth and spoke with Kim, the store manager, about the issue. She stated that she will put a ticket into the IT department for correction.
4/19 went to pick up test strips; STILL the same issues. I called corporate again and received another ticket number. It appears that no one is doing their job.

Allergy aisle
I asked front clerk whom to ask to get Flonase for me. She as told manager has the key and currently on a break. “Perhaps the pharmacist had a key.” I waited in line at pharmacy- 3 people in front of me. She said only manager has they key, and called for assistance on allergy aisle. I waited until 1 song ended over speakers and pushed button for assistance. I kept pushing the button every time a new song came on. 3, 4, 5… Im still waiting. It’s been 25 minutes since I first asked.
Someone else needs a key
Desired outcome: Make sure keys are available . Pharmacist makes since
Phone service pharmacy
Hold times are horrid. Options are repetitive and inaccurate. Music is annoying and constant. Takes time after time to get to option needed and then to be put on hold for 10 minutes to hours (most common) I beg my husband to stop using but he is used to their location. We are using online and phone associated with 1 mifflin at target in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Desired outcome: Improved phone service
Customer service
I have a complaint with the Bluffton Ohio CVS. They are not friendly, customers don't come first they have a resister for non pharmacy items. There was a worker putting things in a plastic bin, she says ring the bell, so I rang the bell she didn't come to help another person looked at me and went to the back. A friend from another town said what happened to the nice people at the pharmacy. Why can't the pharmacy stagger lunches you go in and can't get an rx even if they are ready. A lot of people in town are fed up and have posted on face book how unhappy the way it is run
My check was sent to a collection agency
12/7/22 I wrote a check #4977 for $32.15 to CVS at 2253 State Road, Cedarville, MA (south of Plymouth center). Some how this check was sent to a collection agency! I have been a paying customer of CVS for several decades. For some reason, my check was sent to TRS Recovery Service, a collection agency, Reference # [protected]. This is an error. I called CVS...

I went to store #9858 tonight 3/15/2023 to pick up the pain pills my Dr ordered for me, I had received a text, and thought it was to tell me that they were ready. it does not say that they do not have them and that I should call my Dr to get them sent elsewhere, I need them for pain, the Pharmacist had an attitude like oh well too bad, and I was upset a...
Read full review of CVSPharmacist Nolan's unprofessional behavior and violations of fda's requirements
I am in the processes of making a Corporate Complaint. It is a serious matter and I have been collecting signatures to support my claims from others who Nolan (Pharmacist at Lake Havasu City CVS Store #7022) has also violated. I have been forced out of receiving my medications from that store any longer, because it has gotten that bad! Yesterday the pharmacist Nolan contacted my doctor's office without my permission, and while doing so, the pharmacist Nolan made unprofessional comments (Non-Medication Related) to their office. I am looking into contacting someone to get legal advice on how to handle that matter, and just wanted to give you a heads up! Nolan also stated I was to never call, nor visit the store again! You might want to look at my Rewards Card [protected]) and see that my family spends at least $2,500 a year making purchases from your company. The rest of my family will no longer be making those purchases due to the whole situation! I will continue to take action until something is done about the situation regardless. For example, 4 of my meds that I picked up the last time say they needed to counsel me. They never did. One being.25 Klonopin, and I am on 10 MG Oxycodone! It could have killed me if I hadn't been told elsewhere, holding CVS reliable! This wasn't the first time, neither! Two times ago it was so bad I had to have my father pickup my meds and Nolan made a rude comment about me to him also! There is much more detailed information I am preparing for My Formal Complaint. FYI, I talk loudly and was wrongfully accused of yelling at the Pharmacist Nolan. This resulted in a yelling match, because he raised his voice, which then I wasn't being heard! That stores Ratings are in the 2 categories, so it is obviously not just me with the problem. I am 50 years old and just moved to Lake Havasu 3 1/2 years ago. It's been hell trying to get my medication from your company! Look me up in California, please. In 34 years have never had a problem! I have proof if needed!
Desired outcome: Pharmacist needs to be reprehended and I should be, but probably won't be, compensated for Punitive reasons!
Error: Rewards Card Number is wrong, so please use my e-mail and number provided for contact, and I will correct that with you if needed!
Overcharge in pharmacy
I filled 3 scrips in the same day, using Good RX for all 3, separate receipts. Two were correctly priced. Rosuvastatin, 10mg for 30 days, is $63.36 on Good RX; my Doctor had told me the average pricing before i agreed to try it. I was charged $94.93 by CVS. I saw my Doctor today; she told me I should ask for a refund for the difference, since it is not that expensive. I want a refund for the difference

Many errors have been made as well as complete miss billings sending prescriptions to wrong addresses . People in this company refuse to identify who supervisors are and then threaten you. Most recently today Ms Lucille Accetta tried to bully me after personally making numerous errors with my daughters prescriptions. The staff will lie to you and put my daughter's health at risk numerous times due to the inept abilities of its own employees to follow their own policies.
Desired outcome: Personal contact within cvs to handle prescriptions. 25000$ in trust for my daughter.
Urgent Prescription pickup
Coral Springs 2353 N University Dr location.
Was waiting in line for pharmacy, pull up and the clock ticked 6pm, they shut the window in my face. Went inside, refused to help me. Spoke to Will Oleander - Mgr no help. Thanks, even banks will help you if you are in line before closing. What a crap place, afar crap service, what crappy human beings.
Desired outcome: Staff is fired.
Pharmacy
I’ve been calling your Baltimore based store pharmacy (store #2334) & have been on hold for over an hour with absolutely no answer. I have an important prescription to pick up today & this is just ridiculous behavior from a company that’s supposed to care about health. I’m very upset & think you should certainly check on what they’re doing over there & why they’re ignoring customers.
Desired outcome: Find better staff that doesn’t ignore you & that actually answer the phone. An hour wait time is unacceptable. I have yet to get through.
Pharmacy
March 6 2023.
After dropping off five prescriptions for my very ill grandson, I was told to pick up in a couple of hours. Nothing else. When my son, his father, went after a few hours he was told of the five scripts they didn't have three. Two of them being the most important to start his treatment for upper respiratory infection and pink eye. The technician was unable to contact any other CVS in the area to see who could fill this script and told my son he needed to call all these other pharmacies himself. Working with limited time on a Sunday my son preceded to a Walmart pharmacy and was unable to transfer the script. Another CVS could have filled the antibiotic but could not because the previous CVS still had it in their system as "processing". Needless to say, my grandson spent the night with upwards of 104.8 fever and no antibiotics. We awake this morning to start the battle and see where we can get this medication. I don't know if this is protocol for your employees of not giving the script back because its already in the system or not calling other sister companies (CVS) to find product for consumer. The drops for the pink eye we were told CAN"T be filled because there is a shortage and pharmacy unable to get.
Desired outcome: I would like clarification as to protocol in this kind of situation. Could pharmacy made it better by checking other CVS in area for patient?
Account email address wrong and I didn't change it
I don't use CVS very often. Recently, I had to pick up two subscriptions. the first time a couple weeks ago, when picking it up, there is the POS system to press okay or agree or whatever. Pretty standard. It got to the place where it asked me if I want an email receipt. The screen displayed no*****@gmail.com. I have never used any gmail address. Ever. I don't use google products at all on principle. When I asked about that they said tap on Update email. I did so, nothing happened at all and it just went to the next screen and was finished. No option to update, just flipped to the next screen.
I went home, logged in to my account, and searched everywhere on CVS Extracare, AND CVS dot com accounts, and nothing at all indicates any gmail address. Obviously there is one in there or the screen at the store wouldn't give me the option. I let it rest.
Fast forward to yesterday. Went to pick up another prescription. The same exact thing happened, and the same non-ability to update the email address. When I asked the agent about it, he said it showed (fullemailaddress)@gmail.com. I asked him how that can be when I never have used a gmail. He could not answer me. Gave me a phone no. to call.
I called the number. The agent on the phone said they could see that email address. They updated it for me they said.
Okay, but I'm not satisfied, as it showed no place on my account online. And it seems receipts were getting sent to some random gmail address entered on my account. This is scary that my privacy is violated by email receipts sent to some email address I know nothing about. It doesn't seem like my account got hacked, as I was able to log in fine using my correct information online.
I asked for a supervisor. The agent kept telling me several times there wasn't anything they could do but update the email address. I told her I get that, and that's why I am asking for a supervisor. She finally transferred me and...
She transferred me to another agent on the front line, NOT a supervisor.
The second agent asked me for a reason to transfer, I said No, I took the time to already explain everything and I'm not repeating it all again. After that, she put me on a brief hold THREE TIMES and came back saying the supervisor needed a reason for the transfer to accept the call. I said NO they don't, you simply need to transfer me and I will explain it to them. I'm not going over this three times on the same call, please transfer me.
I got the supervisor and told them how inappropriate it was for her to ask 3 times for a reason before taking the transfer, that it it extremely bad customer service to do that.
I explained the entire situation about the wrong email address (in my opinion CVS entered the no*****@gmail.com email in the account because at some point several years ago I had never entered a contact email, only a login email), and after them asking me to repeat everything I said after each sentence (how HORRIBLE is that, they acted like they were on drugs not listening to anything I was saying, and I was speaking in a normal, legible voice but they weren't hearing me when I was speaking plainly), they tried to blow me off saying the change had been made and there was no concern. When I threatened that this may violate HIPA laws on releasing receipts for drug store purchases to some random email I never entered, they started paying more attention and said they would create an escalation.
The whole service was APPALLING. Please do business anywhere but CVS.
Desired outcome: I want verification of exactly WHEN the bogus email address was entered on my account, and WHO entered it on the account (as in, was it CVS or was my account hacked then the hacker never did anything with it).
Stealing
Hello, My wife an I frequent the store in Pasadena MD. Last Saturday, my wife needed stop by and grab a few things. I witnessed an individual loadeing is pockets up with makeup and cleaning items. I alerted a guy that works in the Pharmacy, his comment to me... was that he wasn't on the clock and walked away . At this time I told the cashier and she told me that they are not allowed to do anything. She also explained to me there not allowed to call police due to getting introuble by mangemant. WHAT THE HELL! This is a sad day when we let these [censored] just take whatever they want and nothing is done. CVS shoiuld be ashamed, for not have guards to stop these individuals. This used to be a great store, Now it looks like inner city! I hate paying higher prices for items due to this activity, I feel bad for your employees since, there is no one protecting them. Corporate obviously doesn't care about employees, or safety of there customers. I will shop somewhere else. And encourage neighbors to due the same.
Vernon Reeder Pasadena MD. [protected]
Desired outcome: Higher a security guard that can actually stop someone from stealing! Not just stand there and ask ...can I help you! REALLY!
Service
On 3/2/23 my husband went to the CVS on Gibsonton dr in Riverview fl. The worse CVS in our area to be honest its a dump and the employees right down to the pharmacist is horrible. Anyways i was home extremely in pain and he went to your business and purchased a tens unit. Upon getting home i noticed that the box had been opened no big deal really i open them in your stores to because half the time things are missing. Well there was something missing the pads. He waited till after 7 to bring this back to get his money and go to Walgreen and grab one. He was not given his money back as a matter of fact he was told he was trying to run a scam on CVS. The lady gave him another tens unit kept the box and humiliated my husband so bad. I will tell you something this person s very lucky i was home and not there or couldn't drive that night. I work in the medical field this behavior is disturbing and i have reached out to an attorney and i will be filing a defamation of character suit with your business and this employee. You better train your employees better. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Desired outcome: I want a refund. I want a formal apology from the employee and from CVS. I want to know who does the training and this person needs to be FIRED NOW
this store just needs to clean out everyone there and start the hiring process and training all over again. this store has the rudest employees from the front to the pharmacist. time to train your employees better or fire them. there are to many people who want to work for us customers to put up with your nasty employees. well I dont have to put up with them. I stopped using cvs when my daughters medication had 3 different pills in there and she was 6. this is the real CVS this is how they truly function they don't care
Self check out at cvs
I do not want to use self checkout and so I decline. I love shopping at my cvs in TIFTON ga on 20 th street . They have very nice workers and I explain I do not use self checkout. It seems that corporate wants each worker to guide customers over to use the self checkout. I am writing to you do not make it mandatory on your workers or they will be written up. I’m of the baby boomers generations and I prefer customer service when I’m shopping local .
Thank you
Carolyn Ellisp
Desired outcome: Cvs doesn’t need to try and force customers to use self check out. Do away with the machines
Pharmacy
The pharmacy will not order my murjuno shot in enough time for me to get each month on time. I am now 2 weeks past due on my shot and i have to it due medial issues. They are rude, and act like to a bother to even deal with. The richland ms is store is the worst store i have ever been to and am the point of taking all the 27 prescription my family gets each month to walgreens.
Desired outcome: HAVE MY PRESCRIPTION DONE ON TIME SO I DONT HAVE TO MISS ANY SHOTS
Two people in front of your store asking for money for their organization
I have been going to CVS on Reems and Greenway in Surprise, Az for a very long time. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. Yesterday I was approached by a man and woman that were standing there with tables set up for their organization to collect money. I said I do not have any extra cash and they said OH WAIT WE WILL TAKE YOUR CREDIT CARD. I said no and...

The Virginia Consumer Protection Act, which became effective in January 2023, requires retailers to permit consumers in Virginia to opt out of having their personal data sold to third parties and also requires retailers, upon request, to provide copies all data already collected to the consumer.
I have tried without success, in countless phone calls and emails, over three days, to request my rights from CVS.
Desired outcome: To have CVS contact me to provide me with guidance in enforcing my legal rights under the Virginia consumer protection law.
