service was terrible
I stopped at the Dsiry Queen in Boluvar Ohio. 44612. Today and went inside to purchase a medium chocolate cone and a small chocolate cone dipped in chocolate. First it took over 5 minutes to get waited on because the girl at the counter was busy delivering other Patrons good at their tables. Then I finally got waited on. So I stepped aside to wait for my cones while the counter girl waited on a group of 6 people. In the meantime my 2 cones were sitting in the holders waiting fir her to give them to me but she was waiting on 6 people. So approx 19 minutes later she got my cones and apologized fir the wait. I went out to the car my husband wondered what I was doing g in there so long. We pulled away and I took one bite of my cone and dunce it was a dipped cone and sat there so long when I took a bite it totally melted all over me and the car. I threw it out the window since I could not eat it it was like soup. This was very upsetting. I don't appreciate being made to edit. I could have just went over and got my 2 cones but there was a sign that said only employees beyond this sign. Very upset.

2 fudge sundaes with extra sprinkles

I was not given a reciept.
The wait time was very long, despite there being no line up.
The taste was not very good and there was very little chocolate fudge and sprinkles, even though I asked for extra (and paid).
I am very dissatisfied of the quality and would like a refund.

dilly bars
When I was growing up, I worked at Dairy Queen. Even had to attend Dairy queen school to learn how to do the trade mark swirl on the ice cream cones.
I used to make the dilly bars and buster bars. Again the dilly bars we put the swirl.
I had not had a dilly bar for years so imagine my suprize when I opened the box when I got home and found these little factory made ice cream bars that had to personal touch to them.
Have we came so far from good sense customer service that we don't do the things that made your franchise famous?
I will buy my ice cream at walmart since your product is no better than theirs.
violence/ assault in the restaurant
My 16 year old daughter, Mycah Reiland, is an employee at Dairy Queen in Muscatine Iowa. Recently, while at work, she was physically assaulted by another 16 year old female Dairy Queen employee, Gloria Neda. Gloria ripped Mycahs headset off, grabbed her by the neck and threw her to the floor. I have photos of scratches on Mycahs neck and bruises on her hip and knee. After learning of this, I made multiple attempts to contact the manager there, Phil Pattel. Finally, days later, he returned my call and informed me that he was aware of the situation and they've had problems with Gloria in the past being rude to customers and staff. He informed me they cannot allow this behavior in Dairy Queen and were letting her go. However, days later, Gloria was still working there. Again, I contacted Phil. He told me they were allowing her to finish out the week, and then she was fired. He also stated Gloria was not accepting her termination and Phil was going to have to contact his uncle, the owner of the franchise, to have her fired. I accepted and believed this information to be true. However, weeks later, Gloria is still working there. I'm not aware if he is paying her cash illegally or if he never took her off the payroll. I also find it concerning the manager has this special attachment to a 16 year old minor. Dairy Queen handbook states there is zero tolerance for violence in the workplace and if any employee resorts to violence, he/she will be immediately terminated. Assault is a crime. Please remedy the situation, or I will have to file a criminal complaint against the juvenile employee, the manager and Dairy Queen corp. Thank you. Respectfully Submitted, Jennifer Middagh
It isn't to late. Go down and file a complaint with the Police Department. Dairy Queen has gone down hill. We used to love going there, but now they have rude and mean employees like Gloria and screw every order I get up. Dairy Queen should be ashamed for not handling the is situation. I hope Gloria get fired and probation time from the court. Good luck.

The sandwich was un-edible. The meat seemed to taste almost spoiled and the texture was definitely not like real pork, it seemed rubberized. After trying a second bite I just had to spit it out.
I ate it at home much to far to return it. I will complain to the manager the next time i am in the area.
milkshake at pennsburg pa dq
I ordered a milk shake peanut butter hot fudge milk shake today and it was mixed for one second then handed to me. So it was mostly vanilla soft serve with hot fudge and peanut butter sauce on top...not a milk shake at all. I order food here often and the quality has been on the decline. More specifically, nothing gets mixed enough. The blizzards and milk shakes never have the flavor or candy bits ubiquitously distributed.

drive thru waiting time
Hello,
I currently work at a paper mill. Today I decided to head to DQ which ive not been to since moving to the Oregon coast. Upon getting to the drive thru the ordering system at the menu was out of service. A sign on it said pull to second window to take your order. There were two cars in front of me and the first car at the window took upwards of 15 mins.
Having only an hour lunch before returning to work this is a problem. Mcdonalds for instance would have had this car pull forward to keep orders going. I'm not comparing DQ to mcdonalds just simply saying where theres a problem theres a solution. I did notice that the car had a large order so I was understanding. The next car at the window took another 10+ mins.
Once I got to the window I asked the girl why were things taking so long and she politely said we have one cook right now. And she said can I take your order? I replied Is it going to take a time period equal to these two cars in front of me? if so I cannot wait.
I'm sure this can be looked into by professionals. But its simply bad management of resources. This DQ is semi close for me to get a quick lunch. And I would like to have that option. But until they improve I cannot afford to waste my time at lunch sitting in a drive thru. Afterall its burgers, fries and chicken strips. What does she mean they only have one cook.

Went thru drive thru on 07/22/18 ten minutes after close so I asked employee the employee behind glass if they were still open cuz the menu light was still on and he said excatly this, "no its on for security [censored]... leave" so I did but not before I told him I would file a complaint on him which he did not care at all! I know the owner here and I spend a lot of money eating there, or at least I did before this action.
You said yourself you went through 10 minutes after close. Knowing this, why did you ask if they were still open? Or you stupid or just trying to cause crap for the hardworking employees?

I think by looking at the below picture, you may understand my concern. The bad thing is this was the second attempt to make a cone. The first was worse and I refused to take. Needless to say this one lasted to the stop light and went out the window. The mess in my car was just as bad.
Another thing was the manager watched as both cones were made. This is not the first time the Braselton and Buford Dairy Queens have done this.
For the price paid for an ice cream cone, you think you would get better service. Well anyway. Thanks for the memories Dairy Queen.

I went to the DQ on Hodgson Memorial Drive and had a bad experience. I went there to redeem a coupon for BOGO on a Premium Smoothie. I was redeeming the coupon on my cell phone as I was in the line waiting for my turn. When it was my turn, I approached the cashier and ordered 2 Mango Pineapple Smoothies. I gave the cashier my cell phone showing my the coupon on the DQ App. She saw it and then by accident she deleted my coupon. She talked to the Manager about it and the Manager said the only way it could have come been deleted is if it had already been redeemed before which was wrong. He asked me for the code. Unfortunately, I did not remember it but the cashier deleted my coupon and since it was the fault of the employee, I felt the Manager should have given me the BOGO coupon on the Smoothies. What was more concerning about this is the way he was looking at me like I was telling a tale. The people I know can vouch for me that I am a very honest person. I do not go anywhere to lie so I can get a discount. It made no sense to jip someone out of a free smoothie. I left DQ in disgust. The Manager there was not professional and I will never go there again. In fact, my experience was so unpleasant, I will never go to another DQ again.

The blizzard was received, the small vanilla, chocolate dipped cone was received..
It was the large chocolate cone we didn't get. My husband waited and waited and finally asked to be refunded. Unfortunately none of the kids behind the counter asked, have you been helped? Nothing.
It was my husband who really wanted to stop for a cone.

sweet home oregon dairy queen rude employers.
Yesterday we visited the sweethome dairy queen they charged us $0.40 a squirt of arctic rush syrup in our drink without telling us when we went to pay 10 total and got a cone and a pop they said it would be almost 6 dollars I was in shock were so rude and horrible it is beyond belief. And the cone my daughter got was just tiny tiny. So bad experience.

My husband and I are frequent blizzard eaters. Week the past 4 times we've been our blizzards have been terrible. Obviously the ice cream is great but the candies inside the ice cream is the issue. We always get extra stuff, which cost extra money. Well we both get about 2 inches into our blizzards and the it's literally just ice cream. Also the extra fudge I asked for was non existing along with the extra stuff. The table spoon of fudge was burnt and tastes terrible. My husband was also very disappointed. I'd we didn't have 2 sleeping 5 year old and live 15 minutes away. I'd come complain personally. This will probably be our last time here which is sad because we used to love you all but it's obvious the workers just don't care about the craftsmanship in your their food or customer satisfaction.
YOU GUYS ARE A BUNCH OF CRYBABIES. There is plenty of candy in there! Proof In your picture ... how selfish are you, that you bought blizzards for you and your husband, but not your kids.

I ordered a recesses blizzard. I was given a butterfinger blizzard. I called and the manager was rude when She got on the phoneand after I told her what happened her response was "What do you want me to say. People make mistakes." So your management in Princeton IN believes it's okay to mess up peoples food they pay for and not do anything about it to fix it.

I went through the drive thru of Dairy Queen in Marietta Ohio today July 18 2018 around 19:00 and the person taking the order was absolutely rude, I was in the middle of ordering and I was trying to let them know of a product that I didn't want placed on my food and was cut off and demanded that I tell her what I want to drink first. Also when I got up to the window a worker was wearing a pair of legging that were so tight on her that you could clearly see underneath of her clothing. Also, to top off what was once again a bad experience at the marietta location a male working up front stated that he was going to "start licking customers food." It is an absolute shame that this store is being run the way that it is. In the past I have made complaints to the managers in the store and received rude and derogatory comments from management themselves. I'm sorry about the complaint but something needs to be done.

My boyfriend and I decided to go to Dairy Queen and he ordered a root beer with his meal. When he was finished his drink he opened the lid and found that there were ants inside of his cup, some alive, some dead. We did not have the time to go inside to complain at the moment because it was over a lunch break, but I would like to bring this to your attention. Yesterday I went to to the local Dairy Queen for lunch, because who doesn't love Dairy Queen! I ordered the $5 lunch special with a hot fudge sundae as one of the sides. I was very disappointed when THE ICE CREAM DID NOT EVEN TOUCH THE TOP WHERE IT SHOULD! It was a huge rip off! This has happened a few times before, but I said to myself, if this happens one more time I am definitely filing a complaint. With this happening repeatedly, I am NOT recommending Dairy Queen to anyone!
