satellite tv
I just switched to dish. At the time I switched I was told dish carried SNY. A day after installation I find I do not have SNY. When I called to cancel I was told I was subject to termination fee. I've had dish for one day and, since I was ill informed, I believe I should be allowed to cancel at this time and the termination fee should be waived. Thank you
redzone dish false advertising
Nfl red zone is supposed to be free to dish subscribers, look at this ad -
https://www.ispot.tv/ad/ojrr/dish-network-nfl-red-zone-all-this-action
Today i spent an hour total trying to reach someone at dish. Their website was not working.
First call message said est 25 minute hold. Waiting 20 minutes then anogher message came on saying "we are experiencing extremely high call volume, use our website or call back later" then got hung up on...
Second call, back to the front of queue. Finally got someone who barely spoke english tell me i dont have redzone because i dont have their "multi-sport" package? Its supposed to be free.

poor quality
I changed to dish from direct tv because dish is much cheaper but i must say direct tv had much better quality tv. Dish sticks and ruins just about every program. Has to be reset several times a day. Worst service i have ever had. The picture scrambles...the sound cuts out. When you try to change channels or request a certain function, it wont obey your commands and again you must reset the main unit or unplug wait for several seconds and plug it back in causing you to miss most of the program you are attempting to watch. Although direct tv was very expensive i never had these problems. I guess you get what you pay for.
channels
I went to watch the first dallas stars hockey last night it was blacked out due to local so I went to find fssw it has been deleted another channel first it was mav tv now this wth you take away channels but my bill doesn't go down I've been a customer for over 8 years this the way we get treated it's no wonder sling is look better every day fix it or I'm switching
service disconnected 9-16-19
I received my bill and it said I had till Sept. 20th to pay 38.22 which was past due from the previous month. I've been a DISH customer for over 5-6 years. I went home only to find out that my cable and been disconnected. My mom was admitted to the hospital on 8-26-19. I've been going back & forth from work, home to the hospital.
Now she's home on hospice care. I know this isn't Dish concern, but as a customer, I would think DISH would have some compassion for their customers. I can understand if my bill was $100. past due or more, but come on 38.22 past due and I got disconnected. Again, my bill said I had till Sept. 20th to pay. So what the heck is wrong with you people?
I will probably check around for another cable service.

customer service
My mother, Anita Helms, has been a customer for 14 years. She wanted to cancel her service and spoke with Stewart. Stewart asked my mother why she wanted to cancel her service. She stated that she found a better deal. Stewart's response to her was, "Well we have offered you several deals." He was very rude to her. My mother is elderly. My mother stated she just wants to cancel. She finally asked for a supervisor. The supervisor told her it was in the process of being cancelled and she did not have to return the box. After she ended the conversation, I told her she needed to make sure that is true because we were told the box would need to be returned. She calls back and speaks to someone else who would not answer the question because my mother would not give her birth date. She had given her account number. I then took over the conversation. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor. I spoke with Stacie, x97. She was so rude and laughing. I told her it was uncalled for and that she should answer the question. Is it true that the box would not have to be returned if it is obsolete? What if I was a person that was interested in purchasing DISH and I had that question. Is DISH telling me that they would not answer? This was so uncalled for by customer service and to me they discriminated against the elderly.
dish network
A company that constantly lies to customers and technicians. I worked there seven years and it got worse every year. Once you get to the higher pay scale they look for reasons to get rid of you. You work terrible hours and work in some of the nastiest homes you can imagine. I had a terrible regional manager that woudnt do his job and lied to me often. He would get mad if you went above his head when he wouldn't do his job. He lied to me when I was injured and said company policy was during light duty my points counted against me. I looked up company policy that contradicted his statement. I was reluctant to say anything because my managers said he was looking for a reason to terminate me because I was so vocal. His name was Doug Jones. He was the southeast regional manager
taiwanese channel-program reduction (jet tv) without a price reduction
Recently received a letter from Dish stating that JetTV International is no life longer available on the Taiwanese Channel to which we have a subscription. Usually when a product or service is reduced in overall value, a business adjusts the pricing accordingly. Dish has not adjusted our subscription price and says in this letter that:
"There will be no change in the monthly price of your subscription"
We have been dedicated Dish customers for over a decade but this insensitive action by Dish indicates our business and us are taken for granted. I look forward to a positive response to this complaint.

fox sport south block
Our address is Washington, Ga, 311 E Robert Toombs, 30673... this is an outrage that you are not or will not clear up this matter of Fox Sport South, About all the entertainment We have availble in this town is the dish net work and to have games blocked because you can or will not come to terms is a ploy to raise the cost I am sure and to think of tall the monies dish is making an with holding ball games to millons of fans, well need i say more IT IS AN OUTRAGE
I'm tired of DISH's lame apologies for not doing what a satellite provider is fundamentally supposed to do. I figured DISH would resolve its differences by now with Fox Regional Sports networks, so I signed up for another two years under their "ultimate" package -- I've discovered that they have done NOTHING since they offered to extend service with Fox Sports while negotiating. Obviously, they've relegated this issue to the back burner. I never had this problem in the 12-plus years I was with DirecTV. Does anyone know if there is a class action lawsuit in the works against DISH or Disney (the owner of Fox Sports)? If so, I would eagerly love to join in.
installation, show, movies,
Instillation: the installer did not know what he was doing all the time he was here. He took a long time to do the job. Very inexperienced with his job. I live in a RV park, and he was unsure of himself all the time he was here. He left Coaxial cable lying in the grass 15 Feet away. the yard crew cutting the grass would have destroyed equipment when they ran over the cable. The cable was over 20 Feet long and in grass long enough to Concealed. He asked to use my restroom. The results of his visit to the restroom caused my commode to Stop it up. That cost me $35.00 for items to un-stop the commode. He did not explain the equipment leaving me to figure out how the remote works. I ordered a 13" TV for my bedroom. the TV did not ship form the company. The installer left all the equipment for the Bedroom without installing it. And now I am sitting in the living room watching Channel 259, a channel I Thought was a commercial free. All of the channels are not commercial free. I do not like nor, I do not want your services. You miss represented your Company. I Want out of Dish TV.
complaint
I moved over from direct tv close to two years ago. Little by little I have seen channels I watch disappear. Now Fox sports network is missing. I called your support center which I waited 19 or more minutes while your sales force answers immediately. After being upset with the channel removal and complaining to your rep. said she would give me a sports package free for 3 months so that I could watch utsa vs baylor. Channel 437 never appeared. She said wait for 15 minutes which I replied it shouldn't take that long. It should have be immediate. I now know that someone behind her told her not to give it to me and try to hang up as fast of possible. I will be dropping Dish pretty soon. As a customer I don't need this type of service.
outside antenna
Since the beginning of July 2019 we have not had our local channels on dish, ten calls later to Dish they cannot give me a definite answer as to why I cannot qualify for the outside antenna. I have two neighbors behind me that have both received an outside antenna that Dish provided and they are getting perfect reception. My last call today was to submit a complaint to their Corporate Office but could not give me their address phone number or who to contact. Can you help.
dish charging for $374.50 for equipment I returned, claiming they never received it
I cancelled Dish network after finding the sales person lied about a feature, which was substantiated, so they waived the early termination fee. I was sent a box and return shipping label, which I packaged up, complete with the label, and brought to the UPS Store. I handed the employee the box and watched it being scanned as received. My mistake was not getting a receipt that had tracking information. Move forward a month and I receive a bill for $350 for "unreturned equipment". I contacted Dish and was told sometimes it takes some time for the equipment to be processed, and if I see a charge on my credit card, it would be reversed when they get the equipment processed. I never saw a charge, but around a month later, I receive text messages and an email from Dish stating I was being billed $374.50 for unreturned equipment. Once again, I contact Dish and explain the situation, and I'm told I need to go to UPS and get them to track the package. I asked for the tracking number, and am told they do not have it, that I should have it since I returned the equipment. After being told the same thing several times, and explaining that I an't just go to UPS and have them tell me where a box is with no tracking number, I ask to speak to a supervisor, or to be given a contact number for someone who is involved in equipment returns. I was told I could not be transferred to a supervisor because I am no longer a Dish customer. I was shocked. I was also told there was no number to call for equipment returns, and advised to contact UPS several times before I just gave up and decided to do some online searches for contact information, which is apparently very well hidden. Beware of Dish Network. Do not believe anything their sales people tell you, and if you need to return equipment, be sure to save the tracking number and shipping receipt. They WILL tell you it is not something they can obtain, even though the label is used to process the equipment when they receive it. I will never consider using Dish Network again, and recommend others avoid the company as well.
identity theft
Victim Dish Identity Theft? on facebook
my credit went down when a criminal quit paying his bill with Dish Network, it turns out that Dish allowed the criminal to use my social security number even tho the last name was wrong as well as the address
Dish makes money off of criminal actions with their services.
Dish is negligent and quilty of criminal coconspirity with their actions.
Contact my face book page if you have had the same experience/
I am hopeing to find a lawyer who will take this as a class action case.
Thanks

early termination fee
Would you wait for almost 3 weeks for your Dish to be fixed? That is what I was told by Dish. After 3 hours of talking on phone with representatives and supervisor I was told that is how long I would have to wait for a technicain to come, no ifs ands or buts, Impossible to get one any sooner. UNTIL I canceled, THEN Supervisor told me they would have sommeone there in 2 hours, is this how Dish does business? The last 2 supervisors I talked to in Texas and Colorado were arrogant to boot. I got my 170, dollar bill today. Is this how Dish Network operates, Doesn't Dish have any contractual obligations to the customer? I guess not. Ver disappointed with Dish and hope your customer service would ook into my complaint
I never said I lost wages, I said that if someone did take off or change their schedule for a scheduled appointment, one scheduled by Dish Network, and then Dish Network does not show for their own appointment then Dish Network just cost that person time, and or money if they have to again change their schedule to allow Dish to provide their luxury service. Some people work weekends, some people work 7 days a week, so their time is valuable, but obviously not to Dish Network! But it’s our fault Dish can’t keep its appointments... or provide good customer service! I called Direct TV and guess what they made their appointment and even called on their way!
Very similar experience! No TV for 2wks, finally got a date and time for a technician! Wife stayed home for the appointment no call no show! Called customer service if you call it that, they guaranteed I would have a tech there the next day and if we didn't have TV by the next day they understood and It was fair if we canceled our service, and for my wife to ensure someone was there... NO CALL NO SHOW! Fed up we call and cancel, $255 early termination fee! Basically Dish Network values their time but not their customers, 16+hrs of my wife waiting at the house for a company not to show or call! Approx 16hrs on hold or speaking with their fantastic customer service, or getting cut off! So even though we lost approx 32hrs of our time waiting for nothing Dish places no value on our lost time or productivity...
software upgrade
I received a phone call from dish stating I would lose service in the next 24 hours if I didn't pay $275 to upgrade software. Dish stated the $275 was a security deposit that we would get back when we cancel our service. We have used dish for over 13 years. Dish representative said they had changed their policy. Doesn't seem like they can legally call and say pay $275 more and you won't lose service?
you do not carry acc network
I was shocked to learn today that Dish will not carry the new ACC Network that starts today. Please reconsider this as if not, I will have to look for a replacement for dish service. The ACC conference is the most successful in basketball and football including other sports and by Dish not carrying this, they surely will lose a lot of customers!
Thank you
Jack L Lynch (current Dish customer)
google assistant
We just got Hopper/Joey service in May and though we didn't use voice search much it always understood our words. Then you just had to change things for the worse! Google assistant is stupid! I wanted to search for movie "Rope" and got everything but and a paragraph on a mythical creature.
I won't be renewing Disk service unless you have a disable factor installed.
loss of fox sports
We have been waiting for this service to be restored. Will we be able to watch Fox Sports next year? If it is not resolved by next baseball season we will rethink our subscription with your company. Please let us know. Thank you. Went to send this along to you and was told my complaint was too short. The shorter the complaint the better for you I would think.
acc network
I have been a Dish customer for many years (over 20). The cord cutter argument had been one that I have ignored for a while because I enjoy access to live sports. Currently, alternate options are becoming more available and user friendly while Dish Network thumbs it's nose at available networks. You refuse to agree and pay an amount that you consider too pricey while raising my rates at will. Save your money on the other subpar and uninteresting programming "filler" channels and provide me with the channels I wish to view.
