egyptian cotton paint
I purchased Dulux trade Egyptian Cotton paint at the Decorator centre in Leeds. The paint was mixed there and the can was sealed. When arrived at home and opened the can it seemed the colour wasn't quite the same as the colour card. Anyway I painted the room and when ran out of paint went back to the centre for more paint and to enquire why the colour seems different to the card and to the same colour, same brand but purchased from Wickes. They assured me it was the same colour and looked different as it was freshly mixed. The mixed more of the same colour for me just this time we asked them not to seal the can and to show us the colour and compare to the old can we had brought with us. It turned out the colours were different and after some investigation they finally admitted there.must have been an issue with how they mixed the first batch of paint. They admitted they actually created a colour that does not exist so can't produce more of it for us to finish the room and they only can give us the actual colour for free to repaint the freshly painted room. When asked who will pay for work done they couldn't offer anything. We paid premium and we now regret ever using them.
I am waiting for Dulux to respond to my claim asking how they will not resolve this and who will pay for repainting the room.
dulux mix in store paint
I purchased 3, ltr tins of the dulux paint you have mixed in store, i spoke at lengh to the homebase man about what i wanted and asked if the matt paint was wipeable and he assured me it was, i have painted my lounge with two different shades of grey cost was £46 per tin, its the worst paint i have ever used, you cant touch the walls at all as it leaves marks that are permanent you cant wipe it as it takes the paint off, my lounge looks awful, everything was prepped correctly as my partner is a painter by trade, im so upset with the amount of money this cost and i now have to re paint the entire room
dulux primer and undercoat
The primer / undercoat product was used on several interior doors and flirting boards / interior window frames etc. Despite being supposedly dry in two hours it was left to dry overnight. The next day the doors were painted and the undercoat / primer came away with the new paint. All the work from the previous day was ruined and all the doors and woodwork had to be stripped and started again. Obviously very unhappy with this product.
dulux diamond matt.
I am a professional painter and decorator, of 20 years under my belt, recently purchased 20 liters of dulux natural calico diamond matt for the walls at the request of the customer only wanting dulux because the house was painted in the same colour several years ago and still having the old 5 litre tins to prove it, and after applying 2 coats i am left with a beautiful very shiny hall and landing to the dismay of the customer whom specified asked for a matt finish to suit what was all ready on the walls, baring in mind we still have the old tins with a little paint still remaining. So off we trot to the dulux shop in colchester essex, where we put our case to the gentleman to whom i personal purchased the product from, only to told they have changed the formula since you bought that old paint, but we will send a little off to dulux to do a test to see if you have dud batch. I Have also purchased 15 liters of diamond " matt"muted stone for the dinning room and living room at the cost of over £600. and if i put that on the walls and end up with very shiny walls my customers will blow a fuse. dont forget i personal have spent days painting. In the mean time to move the job along i went down to b and q wear i purchased a tin of durable matt made to match the colour put it on and hay presto, guess what, it did exactly what it says on the tin, , what a shame i didn't go there first, i could of saved about £400.00 and 7 days work. ARE YOU GETTING MY POINT . The job in question is now, today and the LAST 2 weeks, We think we are entitled to a full refund, because the next step will probably be a legal inquiry after spending so money and time wasted. I hope you can solve this issue, my name is Mr RUSSELL PAUL MALLETT, my E.MAIL IS russell.[protected]@googlemail.com i look forward to hearing from you. by the way we do have pictures to prove our case, .thanks.

dulux easycare paint
Purchased this paint in Spiced Honey.
The first coat has gone on terribly, patchy, uneven & difficult to use.
Don't even think 3 coats will make a good finish.
Normally use dulux matt without any issues but had to purchase this in easycare which is also I more expensive.
I would like to request a full refund so I can purchase a different paint to resolve this issue.

deluxe easycare bathroom
I have repainted my bathrooms using easy care bathroom paint colour- rock salt
I did my main bathroom without a problem all looks good I then did my en-suite bathroom first coat was from the same tin of paint I had already used this dried fine, the following day I put second coat on which has just flaked off as in picture. I have always used dulux paint without a problem but this tin has left my bathroom an utter mess I am going to have to sand all the walls down and if that doesn't work get a plasterer to re plaster them as the walls were smooth before

portland paint
We recently purchased a tin of portland paint from woodies here in wellpark galway. I had previously bought it last year and needed to touch up my walls.
It said it was portland on the tin, I opened it and applied it to the walls, it looked very bright for portland but I thought it might dry out different.
However it never did. Its not what it says on the tin. Please see attached photos as proof.
I could not return to the store as I had it opened and used some of it.
As you can see from the attachments paint 2 shows circled 1 which is what the portland on my wall looked like and circled 2 what the portland I got out of the tin.
This was very distressing as its not what I wanted, I wanted my correct colouring, so not only have I wasted my time, my walls are now not the colour that I wanted.
Please advise what you can do to rectify this situation
Maureen.
paint
Bought some Dulux Easycare paint from B&Q and when i put it on the wall it looks nothing like swatch on the tin. "Jasmine white" looks "magnolia" on the swatch but is white when applied to the wall! We were told that Dulux do not do actual magnolia in the Easycare so we went by the colour swatch. You can see the difference from the paint runs on the tin. Not cheap either at £27 a tin! So now we have got to buy another tin of paint and paint over it. Expect better from Dulux and cant trust them now.
colour system consistency [ at home base, antrim, co. antrim, n.i.]
13, 14th of June 2019
I purchased 2 / 2.5 L tins of mixed paint calm celestial cloud blue which did not match in any stretch to the swatch. It wasn't until it went on the wall that it was noticed.
I returned to the shop and pointed it out to the shop assistant. I asked to have another colour on the swatch mixed in a test pot to see it the machine was mis-calibrated .
It produced very undesirable results .
My photos show comparisons between swatch and mixed paint.
I understand paint dries darker. I have painted 3 rooms in the last 2 weeks and 2 out of the 3 are passable but vary from the swatch. I would suggest a Dulux colour technician visits this store location to test and recalibrate the system.
I have since had to use another location where I've had accurate results.

dulux jade white
Have to say I am so disappointed with this paint colour, both the colour card and tin, make it out to be a lovely light shade of green.
In reality it is BLUE, thinking it could be an age thing I asked my children, what colour they thought it was, they all replied BLUE.
Living on my own, and on a limited wage, it took me a while to save for this bathroom paint. I have gradually bought things to complement the green I was expecting.
However I have to say the disappointment is heart breaking. I never wanted a BLUE colour, as I find it such a cold colour especially in a bathroom.
I know blue and yellow make green, so when I opened tin, just thought it was the light and that it would dry green.
How wrong was I.
I would NEVER have bought this if I knew it was nothing like the colour on the tin, or colour card.
As I said I am on limited monies, so it's not like I can afford to paint over it, so am now stuck with this colour and things that don't match it.
I look forward to your explanation of this.
An extremely disappointed customer.

dulux proud peacock quick dry gloss high sheen
Really annoyed. Purchased the above paint for my front door. Recently moved into a new property, was excited to personalise my front door but ended up disappointed. Cleaned and scrubbed the door before painting. Allowed to dry. Painted one coat, allowed to dry fully before painting a second coat. A few days later it needed some touching up. Got the paint out. Different colour! How on earth is it a different colour?!? My door looks horrendous and having Fibromyalgia I do not have the strength to go through painting the whole door again! I followed the instructions on the pot. Shook well before use, mixed well. Between use the paint has been kept in my kitchen cupboard out of heat. Please help and tell me how you are going to rectify. I can hardly blame the shop I purchased it from as they didn't make the paint! Thanks Kim

Hi
We always use dulux paints but are very disappointed with the quality of them now. We brought chic shadow for our dining room and landing and had to rub some dirt off, unfortunately the while later of paint came off as well.
This isn't the first time we have had this problem. Paint over the last few years does not seem to be as good a quality and seems much more watery. You should not have all the paint come off by simply wiping over it. Our older paints that we brought over 10 years ago never did this and its extremely frustrating spending all that money on paint for it to just rub off.
We always spend alot of money on dulux paint but this is just not good enough. We now have to get more to go over the mess that has been made.
Regards
Melissa Ely
non drip gloss
Turned yellow within a year. I have complained directly to Dulux and was told that yes, it do does that and I should have read the VERY small print on the tin, that basically states " it will not remain white and I should have bought a water based paint".
My argument is, that as it was not fit for purpose it should have been withdrawn years earlier when the problem first arose, rather than conning people to buy a product with the large print on the front stating PURE BRILLIANT WHITE. I am now faced with having to repaint the whole house. I was offered a tin of their wonderful new paint for my trouble and when I asked not unreasonably why I should now have to pay a decorator to repaint, even that paltry offer was withdrawn.
This is the second problem I have hade with Dulux paints this year as the 10l can of PURE BRILLANT WHITE matt emulsion was far from that and we had painted an entire room ( over magnolia ) before realising it was still the same colour when dried. I took this back to HOMEBASE who tried to claim I had stored it incorrectly and it had gone off in the 6 months since I bought it.
For 30 years I have been using Dulux products without any problems, but I will not be purchasing them in the future. What I shame that that was once on of Britain's finest companies cares so little about its' loyal customer base.
flat matt 2.5l delicate veil paint by dulux
Bought a 2nd 2.5l tin flat Matt delicate veil approximately 2 weeks after purchasing first tin of supposedly the same colour - mixed by staff in J D Hume, Kelso - colour so different from first tin of delicate veil that I had to repaint 2 walls. Told Jacqueline Hume (Manager) herself - could not explain why and was disinterested in helping or resolving any issues.
I have photographic evidence of the discrepancy but only paint from 2nd tin - 1st finished
dulux easycare mixed in homebase store
Good afternoon,
We bought Dulux paint, mixed at Homebase store in Knaphill, Surrey. As soon as its been mixed up for us I knew it is not a colour we have chosen. We have been told that it's true that it looks different than the one on sample, but they told they have done it properly. They informed us that they can't do refunds on mixed paints. They said we have to contact Dulux for this. I have taken photos to proof how different it is. It is nowhere near the colour we picked. The colour we picked is Royal Regatta 1. I painted wall 3 times and this colour is not acceptable.
I am awaiting reply either by email [protected]@gmail.com
or phone [protected]
Kind regards

dulex mat emilsion brilliant white - batch number [protected]
Purchased 5l tin of above from The Range Basingstoke. I was paying decorator (10.00 per hour) to paint my kitchen after 1 coat (covering a very pale magnolia) she called my attention to the fact that it was FAR from BRILLIANT WHITE - more creamy white. The Range refunded the tin with no problem (store 0121 transaction 130559 dated 6/4/19) and I was going to leave it, was in the middle of chaos with the decorating and was going to write off the 20.00 I had paid for the initial coat of paint BUT over the last few I have noticed this particular paint is reduced in several stores which makes me think there is a problem with this batch and paint! I await your reply
why do I have to give you all my personal details - i am making a complaint to you not the whole world!
fine cream paint for walls and ceilings
Good morning
I'd like to complain about Dulux Fine Cream paint for walks and ceilings. It contains small bits of orange colourant which is not visible in the tin, but the red lines appear on the wall when I start painting. There is a problem with the colourant
If you need further information, please let me know.
When can I expect to receive a compensation?
dulux polished pebble 1l
Dear Dulux, I recently bought a pot of 1L polished pebble from 'The Range' store in Cardiff, Newport Road. After a 5 minute journey back to my house from the store I discovered that the pot of paint was leaking from the bottom. Almost the entire content of the pot leaked and soiled the carpet in my car. I am most dissatisfied that this faulty product has caused damages to my personal property. I have been in contact with the supplier (The Range) however they have not responded satisfactorily, claiming that the product is not their concern once it has left the store. I would describe this as negligence on both parts.
Please see attached photographs of the faulty product and damage to my car.
