incorrect charges
I did many comparisons with different airlines and at each stage of research I wrote the amounts and the total charges incl checked in baggage costs for my comparisons. I found eDreams was the cheapest and decided to book through eDreams and added the checked in baggage for both outbound and inbound flights.
The amount that was given in the end was then broken down into ticket price, service charge, eDreams deduction and checked in baggage costs - as I expecte, and after I was happy with the price, I hit "Purchase" button and straightaway, the total price changed by £26 without telling me why its changed and diverted me to the "authorisation with bank page" and eventually charged my card with the amount I was not expected. To add further annoyance, I received a confirmation of eDreams and the amount is again different to what I saw after I hit Purchase by another circa £30.
I called eDreams straightaway and was passed through from one department to another, finally someone spoke to me and gave me a breakdown of the charges, which includes the service charge from eDreams (which in the price I agreed to, this has been removed under eDreams reduction) Furthermore, the departure checked in luggage has been removed even though I have paid for it! This has not been communicated to me at all! This means mb ticket is actually more expensive than it was and now I have to buy the baggage again!
I was very upset and disappointed and the customer service guy told me i have to make a claim by filling in an online form, which i did. 7 days later, no replies, so I called again, and I asked to be put through the complaints department. I was again being passed to various persons and in the end I was told there is not compliant department.
I cannot do anything at all and this is an unfair practice, Firstly, charging customers a price that was not agreed to! Secondly, hidden charges, even though it says it is removed in the price breakdown. Thirdly, charges are paid towards the additional services, but this is not provided. Fouthly, unfriendly and unhelpful staffs because they were bouncing calls and lied to me a department which does not even exist!

mistake done by edreams employee cost me 700 euros and they don't want to resolve the issue
I found eDreams through Skyscanner website. They are putting fake lowest prices over there so that they would receive as much visits from SkyScanner as possible, but when you click that price and SkyScanner transfer you to eDreams website miracle happens. Price went up just more then 100% up.
I've bought ticket with eDreams from Belgrade to New York two days before flight. Tomorrow I noticed that I have put wrong return date from New York and gave eDreams a call to try and change this. As I have already checked in they told me that it's not possible to change anything now, but that I should give them a call tomorrow and that they will change it for 135 additional euros. I gave them a call tomorrow and they told me that it cost 263 euros to change return date. After a lot of talking I just said ok change the return date for 263 euros and they confirmed that they will. As I went on the plane and came to New York I noticed that my credit card was charged for 263 euros and that they changed my flight from Belgrade instead return date from New York.
I tried to call them so that they can change their mistake, but they said that they don't want to change anything unless I pay more money which was ridiculous. I asked for official email for complaint, but they don't answer over the email. I then tried to solve the issue over phone and they told me that they will reply tomorrow over the email. They replied that they will not refund me and that it's not their problem. They send replies from "noreply" email so you cannot continue any further discussion. They don't record phone calls so their employees can freely make as many mistakes as they want and they will not be responsible for anything. They check if their employee made mistake by asking him "Have you made mistake". Very professional, right?
As I was in New York with no return ticket available I had to buy one way ticket for 421 euros on top of all this so basically their mistake costs me almost 700 euros.
Epilogue:
I'm short for almost 700 euros
eDreams don't want to have official email communication
eDreams don't want to provide phone call recording, because it's their mistake
eDreams can now charge me as much money as they want and easily can say that I have call them or do what ever they want with my credit card.
I have to block my credit card so they wouldn't charge anything if they need any additional money for they fraudulent operation.
I'll give my best to receive some compensation for my loss by their mistake or will dedicate my life to telling people around the world to stay away from eDreams!
Dear Frank,
I have been contacted by Vanessa and have been refunded the full amount for my lose.
Thank you for your concern.
Best regards,
Dejan
Hi Frank,
Thank you very much for reaching out.
I have sent the return ticket from New York to Belgrade and Ezequiel proposed refund for that ticket. Only thing left unclear is the change date fee that was suppose to be 135 euros, but was 263 euros because your employee made correction on the Belgrade departure date on 5th of December instead on return date which I have put for 12 of January, but wanted to return on 12 of December. As departure date was changed while I was on my connection flight to Istanbul it was more expensive then it was suppose to.
So I'm waiting the difference to be compensated as well.
Still haven't received reply regarding this.
Best regards,
Dejan Rakezic

fake site scam
I have booked a flight from muscat to mumbai. Immediately I received a confirmation email. However, I have never received any eticket. The money from my credit card account is gone. I have sent many emails but I have received only auto-replies. I tried to contact on phone could not contact. This is only a fraud company and people should BEWARE of the same.

eDreams is trusted company. I was bought air tickets many times in many countries via eDreams (site, mobile app).
i recently used edreams to buy a ticket at half the cost of the other websites for copa airlines, and it came through no issues. took a few days to get a confirmation number but worked. I was scared using them at first because of some of the bad writeups online but it came through, at half the cost. Would definitely use again. This was for a flight with copa airlines from guatimala to panama one way, copa airlines website advertised it for $450, where edreams gave me the flight for $200. Maybe i got lucky but i would use them again for sure.
failure to send confirmation of booking
This is a fraudulent, immoral and dishonest company. The "customer care service " phonelines are apallingly slow and the employees are unhelpful and unprofessional.I spent almost 2 hours on the phone and my issue went unresolved.I was cut off, placed on hold and passed over to other operators and put on hold again.I asked to speak to a manager and was told there wad no manager available.i asked for a managers name so that U could call back after nine and was told that this information could not be divulged.i had paid for a flight and had not received a confirmation e mail.i would advise anyone to avoid this company at all costs

fraudulent claims
I cannot understand how this company is still in business. They absolutely lie about the flights they sell. After purchasing two separate tickets on the same day using edreams, I received two confirmation emails. Both assuring me that changes to the ticket could be made, for a small fee of course. In fact, on the second ticket, I paid extra to purchase the premium ticket.
When I tried to change the travel dates, edreams told me that both tickets had restrictions on them that did not allow them to be changed, even the ticket that I had paid premium for. When I asked them why they had failed to pass this information onto the passengers, they said that they could not see the restrictions on the tickets prior to issuing them, and that it was the responsibility of the passenger to contact them (by phone of course and for anyone outside of Spain, on an international call) to check the conditions.
When I pointed out again that they should at the very least tell people that this is expected of them on their website, the customer service rep told me that that this was not necessary and that 'people should just know'.
I called both airline carriers (for the two separate flights) to confirm that in fact they had restrictions. One did and one absolutely had NO restrictions on the tickets.
This is the WORST agent (online or otherwise) I have ever used. I will NEVER use them again. Their customer service is rude, unhelpful. Emailing them does NOT WORK. I hate this company.

I cannot understand how this company is still in business. i have tried to book two flightswith them online when they advise it will take 48hrs after taking all my details, so as i had no time booked my flight direct which was even cheaper than edreams prices, day after i have called them to cancel the resevation with them, been told i have to contact the air lines direct so i did that mean while they started to charge my account, after chasing them for a month and half they refunded me £85.00 instead of £206.00.
Total nightmare. Please never use this site to book your flights unless you want to be pushed like a football with no help... Horrible .. Should be closed immediately.
Amount charged twice after check in closed!! So not allowed to board
Dear edreams team,
I am extremely disappointed and upset about a booking I tried to make on saturday with you.
I made a reservation (56hhfz) but I never got the electronic ticket. My sister (for whom I was getting the ticket) spent 2h in the airport in front of the air europa counter, where they wouldn't allow her to check in because edreams had not paid them the ticket. She spent 1h on the phone with you in order to fix the situation, they said it would be done. The checkin counter closed (as in every airline 1h before departure) and 10minutes later I got a notification that a second payment had been made from my credit card of the same amount! Meaning, my sister was never allowed to check in or board the plane, and the amount of the plane was debited twice from my account. This is unacceptable.
1. It is not acceptable to charge someone twice the price
2. It is not acceptable to not pay the airline on time
3. It is not acceptable to pay the airline once the checkin counter is closed so the passenger is not allowed to board.
It is none of my problems your internal procedures. I did not get the service you are supposed to give and therefore I will take the necessary measures.
Have a good day,

non refundable flight
I booked a flight with edreams. On my flight back, I went to the airport to find that my flight was "Non-operational". I had tried to contact Goldair, a company which manages the flights, they were very unsympathetic and told me to contact SkyGreece Airlines, the flight company that provided the flight. There was no one to pick up the call, although it was saturday afternoon. When going back to Goldair they then rang themselves. Goldair had told me the person in charge had quit their job so there was no one to deal with the matter. I had no choice but to buy my ticket back costing 560 EUROS. I tried to claim the flight back, but they paid me 119 pounds for the original flight which was 170 pounds. They took out the cost of admin fees. Further, they did not acknowledge the money I spent on the 560. I've tried ringing customer service but they only refer me to the compliant forms.

credit card fraud
Extensive research on the internet confirms my appalling opinion of eDreams ODIGEO and I am baffled that such a business is allowed to exist in Europe. Countless complaints prove that they have bluntly been stealing people’s money for years and they make it nearly impossible to contact them or file a complaint. Last year they had sales exceeding 4 billion Euros and were hugely profitable and no wonder why. With more than 14 million customers being subjected to dubious business practices such as non-refundable ”pre-payments” and countless other charges for tickets that they will never benefit from, because they have given up and booked with someone else. Here’s my experience: I am a Finnish citizen, currently staying for a few months in Southern Spain. On the 20th of October 2014 I booked a flight (NYC-Jerez(Spain)-NYC) on-line via www.travelgrove.com and was remitted to the webpage of eDreams. I have purchased flight tickets online for over 15 years, so the procedure is familiar. After the last mouse click the ticket, that you assume you have purchased, should be sent to your email address. But this time no. Instead an email message arrives saying: ”Reservation WITHOUT confirmation: [protected]”, ”You have made a pre-payment of 20 Euros for this flight”. The ticket cost 927, 80 Euros and the balance due was 907, 80 Euros. In order to complete the purchase I was given the option of either calling the company or making a bank transfer. The customer service, a number in Spain, only operates between 9 am and 8 pm, so I had to wait until the next day. After extensive waiting (more than 15 minutes) a woman answered the phone and told me that the airline company had cancelled all the flights and that I had to book again via the website. She also told me that my credit card had been declined, which later on turned out to be a complete lie. I told the woman that I won’t book anything with eDreams and that I want my 20 Euros back straight away, money they had stolen from me without giving me anything in return. She said she had no authority to refund my money and that I had to file a complaint on their website. Later I called Barclays Bank to check what charges had actually been made. On the 20th of October eDreams had charged me 20 Euros (16, 40 Pounds), the ”pre-payment”, then in addition 927, 80 Euros (760, 52 Pounds), the entire cost of the flight ticket- instead of the balance of 907, 50 Euros. Then on the same day there was, quite unexplicably, a refund of 868, 14 Euros (711, 59 Pounds) All in all eDreams has charged my credit card 79, 70 Euros- 59, 70 Euros more than the 20 Euros they in writing claimed that they have charged. 79, 70 Euros for absolutely nothing. That was all I heard from eDreams. I went to the local tourist office here in Conil de la Frontera, Cádiz, to ask what I could do. They recommended me to go to the Guardia Civil to file a report on the company. Two police officers received me in an office and one of them said that he actually had bought a train ticket via eDreams a few years ago and that he could recall that the procedure was rather questionable, but he finally got the ticket (maybe a Spanish police officer is, for obvious reasons, excluded from the shameful business practices the rest of us sadly become victims of). Despite the obvious fraud Guardia Civil sent me to the Oficina de Consumidores (The Consumer’s Office), which is housed in a local government building. A woman there was very helpful and knew about eDreams. Mine wasn’t the first case she had dealt with. We both spent a good half an hour trying to figure out how to file a complaint on the website, but that was impossible. We tried to call them for advice but got to listen to monotonous music for another quarter of an hour. Finally we gave up and she printed out an official form issued by the Andalucian authorities. I filled it in and she was going to send it by certified mail to eDreams, which appears to be located in Barcelona. I read that Iberia and British Airways has recently stopped co-operation with eDreams, which caused their share price to plunge by 60%. Spain is one of Europe’s most attractive tourist destinations and the Spanish government ought to be deeply ashamed of letting such an operation as eDreams continue to conduct business. If the law doesn’t, common sense says that this company is evidently misleading their customers and in my case their behaviour has been criminal. I urge anyone who reads this to think twice before dealing with eDreams. By using their services you will only cause yourself harm and besides, no one should support a business which is obviously fraudulent. In addition to the complaint mailed by the Spanish local authorities Barclays Card Dispute Team has been involved in this case and I shall continue to fight eDreams and prove that they quite simply lied to me and took 79, 70 Euros from my account. Not only do I insist on having every single stolen penny returned but I shall also do everything I can to make people aware of what kind of nighmare a simple mouse clic on the eDreams website will cause.

I just got hustled by them too. was booking a $85 ticket and a pop up window came up and said ticket was now $334 and they charged my bank. I've been on hold now for 30 min and when you talk to someone they just go around and around with phone numbers that go nowhere.
I wish I had Googled eDreams before purchasing tickets from this fraud company! Still I can’t believe it! CheapFlights redirected me to this scam
I have just had the same experience with you and realized edreams is the robbery and no improvement for so many years
robbed
Do not buy airline tickets with this company. I have been stupid not to look into this company more.
They sold me a airline flight from montreal to brussels with a stop in new york. However, I have to change airports in new york and I have three hours to do so. I thought it would be tight but possible until I talked about it to a friend who works at a travel agency. She informed me that since my second flight is an international flight I will have to be there at least two hours in advance. They will not consider me in transit since I am changing airports. I contacted the two airline companies air canada and air transat to get a confirmation and indeed they confirmed I will never be able to catch the second flight. I have sent several emails to edreams and tried to contact the number on the website. I did not got a response and the number on the website is out of service. This company robbed me! Don't let them fool you.

I helped a friend book a flight to Las Vegas through eDreams and the flight was never confirmed but the credit card was charged. The next day she got a notice that her card had been used to buy a flight to Switzerland.
We arrived in Las Vegas. Our room has been booked via hotelbeds. However the hotel cannot find our booking. Our reference is edreams: [protected]
And hotel reference: B2562742040
We had to pay for a room in order to have a room for the night. We tried calling all your supposedly 24hr service numbers. Nothing is working.

I want a refund to be done as soon as possible
I have read lots of bad reviews about your company .
misleading
This company needs investigating. They take all details for flights and tell you that the airline will contact you with confirmation. When you don't get a response from the airline and contact them, they know nothing about your flight. Upon going back to eDreams they tell you the flight was cancelled by the airline, when challenged on this they then blame your card, telling you the payment couldn't go through. All this is to get you to book another flight at a higher price. They should never be allowed to trade at all.

hiden service charge
Hi, I would like to bring this to your notice and request for refund of eDreams service fee charged to me without proper notification. Else I will raise a complaint with appropriate authorities
It's an unfair practice on the part of eDreams to hide the service charge when the final price is shown on the payment page. I have a sample screen shot showing how edreams service charge was disguised / hidden at final payment page. The orange comment box covers the break up and cannot be moved. I would like to have refund of my eDreams service fee charged to me without proper notification.

charging card without booking or reference
After reading through thisforum well aware of the factd that I was almost before I robbed by these people. After an incomplete online booking my card had been charged. Luckily my card can be refunded. But before I gt the Physical cash i wnt kno. after all these complaintS someone has to close these people down. Innocent children are dying before their mothers see tHem because of this. why google even allows it on the sites just amazes me. SkyscAnNer is also to blame for half of peoples stress. judging from the reviews i have come accross we are capable of tracing thesE people and bringing them to justice.

totally scam
Unfortunately, l hadn't read the awful experience of other unlucky people messed with this site, and l was their victim myself. It is a actually a trap this professionally looking but without credibility site. They have stollen my money (almost € 900 ) just like that. In short, l had purchased two tickets for Latin America with bank transfer. Since the Transfer delayed some days, they informed me that the price of the tickets was increased significantly and I decided to cancel, asking for refund. after 5 months and after several mails and giving again and again my bank details, there is no sign for refund. another thing that I must report is that their answers are random lies. First, they assured me twice that they have approoved the bank transfer. Then, they claim that the delay was air company's fault, which is not the case since l refused to bye the ticket with the raised price. Avoid this site.
unable to get promised refund
I booked a flight from Dublin to Amsterdam from the US through edreams and immediately found it cheaper on the airlines own website (my fault for not checking first) and right after purchasing saw the $25 per ticket service charge! For what? I just figured it was like Expedia, who doesn't charge a service fee. I immediately called to cancel and was told I would be refunded. A few weeks later I hasn't seen it, called the company, they say it was refunded to a credit card ending in 4 numbers that didn't match any card I have. I tried multiple time to explain this to them and sent a copy of the charge on my correct credit card statement but to no avail. The only answer I received was "it has been refunded". It didn't appear they were trying at all to see where the money went as it wasn't to me. Had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get the refund 2 months later.

edreams call center
On June 14th I tried to buy 3 one-way tickets Paris - Bordeaux for the 16th June at EDREAMS. When I gave them my credit card number, I received a note saying that there had been some problems with my credit card and that my booking had a "pending payment". As I was going to leave for Paris from my country (Brazil) on the next day (15th June) afternoon and the problem wouldn't solve till Saturday, I took the following measures: first I called my bank and learned that there had been no problem with my card and no attempt of charge from Edreams.
Secondly, I tried to buy the tickets at Edreams again but couldn't because the payment was still pending.
So I called their number +[protected] and talked to one of the attendants. I explained the urgency of the situation to him and he told me that, as it had taken so long, my booking had been cancelled. I said I wanted to buy the tickets again but couldn't, so he suggested that I bought the tickets directly with the airline. And so I did it. We took the plane to Paris and when we arrived, I looked into my emails and saw that they had emitted the etickets and charged the value on my credit card. I received the etickets a few hours before the flight after the attendant had told me it was cancelled! It means I paid twice for the same tickets and the booking hadn't been cancelled after all! I've been trying to solve this problem with EDREAMS but "there's nothing they can do" as there's no register of my call! I sent them my Skype records showing that I called them but they don't want to reimburse me. After reading about so many frauds by the company, I'm starting to think that what happened to me was an action of bad faith by the company.

paid for tickets, none received
my wife tried to buy airline tickets with "e-dreams" she got a booking reference but the credit card payment failed (although the credit card works for all other online transactions) and was asked to make a wire transfer instead. Because she is not familiar with wire transfer she abandoned the transaction and asked me to try with my credit card
I reserved the same flights, received my booking reference and paid by PayPal. The payment has been taken by Vacaciones edreams and I received a message saying I would receive another email confirming the booking (and the tickets)
The email never arrived, I checked with PayPal and £900 has gone out of my Account, I checked with the Carrier - EgyptAir and was told there was no booking under the Booking reference given by edreams.
Many attempts at telephoning this Company (at high telephone charges) has led nowhere - once in a while I get to speak to someone who transfers me and the line disconnects.
In addition to this, I received a scam email trying to elicit my PayPal Account information with regard to my failed transaction with e-dreams
My advice to anyone is never to use this Company, and am very surprised Airline Companies seem to continue to do business with this Company - it seems to be a criminal activity

flightl tickets
We have booked flight tickets from Cluj Napoca(Romania) to Rome(Italy) direct flight with this company for Vueling airline on July 7th/2014 and 2 days ago our flight have been cancelled and moved 2 days after that day, on July 9/2014. Nobody notice us, the flight is with a stop in Barcelona and is 2 day after the day with booked it. On July the 7th/2014 we have connection flight back to Toronto from Rome and our vacation is messed up now because of this. We called them, no answer. We talked with Vueling rep and they refund the money to this company and now is impossible to get in contact with them and make sure we get the many back and able to buy other tickets.
Be careful with this company...contact details showing on our paper is Josefa Parera Salleras phone number [protected] and email is [protected]@gmail.com
foreign transaction fee
I made a booking on 11th June 2014 from Chicago to LA and return. Firstly, while booking the website clearly mentioned
Do you need to check in Baggage :
1 included for free in ticket fare for both departure and return.
When they send me email for the ticket confirmation it came with 0 baggage included.
Secondly, they charge me a foreign transaction fee of $35.83 as hidden fees. I checked on a comparison website the fare showed me was about $1150, i clicked went into their website the fare changed to $1170 but i saw baggage included so i went ahead & did the booking. To my surprise later the baggage was taken off and charged me another $35 for fees...Now the total fare is lot expensive.
I sent an email to edreams and in reply they say i have to contact airlines for baggage.
I checked with my bank and they say it was charged by them to process the payment which was made to a company overseas. Becoz Edreams is based not based in USA (probably based somewhere in Europe) the payment has to go from a US credit card to a Foreign Bank a/c in europe the bank charges as their processing fee which in my case was 2.99%.
But i would suggest Edreams to put a warning / alert message on the website before payment window making customers aware about it. Sorry for the hassell. BTW they will be giving me a refund for my baggage charges which i have to send them the receipt from the airlines. Thank you

Dear,
I notice you experienced a similar issue with Edreams as me. I am doing all the necessary to get a refund from them and I see it as my task to prevent others from making the same mistake and buying a ticket with Edreams. Therefore, I created a Facebook group to increase pressure on them and I would like to invite you to join this group: “Edreams: you get a scam while expecting a dream” via the following link:

fake ticket
I can only tell you: do not book a flight with edreams! I booked a flight via edreams to israel on the 28th of december, for which I received a booking confirmation at that time (see below). Yesterday, 1 day before I would leave to israel, I found out that this booking confirmation was not my flight ticket and therefore not valid. There was no flight number mentioned on my "ticket", neither a booking code.
I started calling all the numbers mentioned on their website and other websites, mentioning their contact information. Herewith, I mean all the telephone numbers worldwide, from south america to australia. Most of these telephone numbers do not exist or are closed, even though the opening hours mention the contrary. I also sent emails to different email services, suggested on the website. Yet again, the same issue, the email accounts don't exist or don't give responses. After having read some reviews of customers who had the same experience and lost their flight due to this issue, I had no other option than booking a new flight via another company. This flight cost me an additional 347€ (Compared to the 255€ I already payed before to edreams, which was taken from my bank account). I am still waiting for a response and don't know if I will get my money back... So yet again: pay 100 euro more, but avoid having to pay 400€ more in the end!

Hi Vivianchan1982, can you please let me know if eDreams helped or refunded you in any way?
I'm asking this because after reading your complaint, I realised that I was 'conned' in a similar way.
I searched the internet for the best prices and eDreams came out tops. After triple checking the flight prices that appeared on their booking page, I proceeded with the booking.
After paying for the flights, the payment confirmation included an eDreams service charge of £31.26. This charge was NOT stated before payment was made and this I find terribly dishonest. The result was an increase from £138 to £164.73 which was much more expensive than other companies.
I immediately phoned the eDreams number and I spoke with a person called Sarab Prakash, who was stubbornly adamant that eDreams did nothing wrong and were totally within their rights to add on these hidden charges.
This is in total violation of British and EU law!
I was told to submit an email detailing the issue, which I did. The promised 24 hour response never materialised. Since then I've had to make numerous phone calls and submitted the email query again. I'm yet to receive any assistance from eDreams.
After all of this, when I subsequently spoke to the eDreams people and my credit card company, they are mentioning a total of £168.00 which was taken off my credit card, not even the £164.73 that eDreams own Booking Confirmation stated.
Now, if this is not blatant robbery and downright dishonesty, then I don't know! This company needs to be stopped!
