The Sims 3 for the Wii console is horrible. The graphics are horrid and the game takes my Wii so long to think that it freezes up. The sims get stuck on the couch and you cant get them off until they decide they want up. You can't build a house, which was my favorite part. The choices for the appearance are nothing compared to the PC version. I originally started playing my Mom's PC version and was so excited about it and addicted that I immediately went out and bought the Sims 3 for my Wii. Complete disappointment. I tried to take it back to the store and they would only exchange it for the exact same thing. So I tried to contact EA Games directly and they have disconnected their contact us page. I would be so embarrassed to put this out on the shelves I would disconnect my contact page too.

I joined Club Pogo and now pay $5.99 monthly ($71.88 total a year). The biggest reason for joining was the fact it was advertised as "AD FREE". Now they are advertising through the chat boxes in the lobbies and in the game rooms. I'm sorry but when I join a "Club" advertised to let you play "Ad Free Games" I expect not to have to scroll up in my game room to see what what my Spades Partner or Tourney head just said. Anyone who has ever had to scroll up knows the extra royal pain it is because anything new typed in doesn't automatically scroll as it should. Now your stuck and have to constantly scroll down because the chat window doesn't work right. I don't want an iPhone app, nor do I want to purchase one of you half price games for 50%. We all see these ads when we sign in and when we move among the game pages. We don't need to see them again in the chat area of the game lobbies nor the game rooms. I am tired of having ads shoved down my throat.

I totally agree with you. The advertising in the chat area is extremely annoying. Pogo is getting more greedy by the minute. I can see them slowly but surely begin to charge for more and more as time goes on. For instance, don't they charge for games that are downloaded? I foresee them eventually making all their games to be downloaded and charge for each one. Not to mention how inflated their token charges are now for gifts...30, 000, 40, 000, 50, 000 tokens! Last year they got into selling retail, i.e. the pogo card they advertise on homepage that can be bought at retail outlets, i.e. grocery stores, etc. And now they are going further like you say and advertising in the chat area for i phones, etc. Big advertisers...big money for pogo. So, the no advertising pogo is now a lie. I guess we'll see what's next.

Don't understand the "intermission" gamut -- nonsense - don't find it in the Pogo Hearts game and I play that all the time. The Spades intermission happens about every 2 or 3 hands and has gone from a "used to be about 17 seconds" to 35 seconds. Guessing Pogo is trying to convince us to buy into their Club Pogo! Sure does cripple an excellent online game!

I have been charged for 2 downloads that I didn't recieve. Also for 1 that does not work. This was on my Visa card charges on August 30. If you send your adress, I will send you a copy of my bill. i have a 39.99 charge on my credit card. i was not aware anyone signed up for anything. i would like that charge removed and not continued in the future. we have played free pogo for years and don't want to change now.
we have accumulated 1.6 mil points in the pogo game and now the speed is so great we can't get through all the words. why does it speed up and how can we slow it down?

I paid to become a paying member of pogo.com, one year ago.
I noticed they had rooms at scrabble that were discriminatory in nature.
I complained through their game site contact for problems.
Then they added two more discriminatory names to the roster of game rooms.
I complained about them too, on a daily basis, seeking change in the names.
I was contacted and told to stop sending spam to them, that this was a corporate decision, and it would stand.
I continued contacting them with civil rights violations complaints.
Director Brian Keaster and Joe Decker of pogo.com customer services in TX then cut off my ability to complaint to them.
However, I have their email addresses and still complain daily with a separate civil rights complaint.
This been going on for over one year now.
I have written to president Riccitiello of ea.com (who makes $800, 000 yearly salary per the SEC filings); and he too refuses to effectuate changes.
Recently pogo.com changes its screens for scrabble, and now my account was devoid of any winnings, and everything else associated with my paying membership.
I could no longer complaint about the shoddy work on the game that effected my ratings/standings.
I canceled my membership, received confirmation--WHICH IS SOMETHING THEY ARE FINALLY DOING.
I continue on a daily basis to file civil rights complaints against them as each day is a separate violation.
I have written to the president informing him that I will be filing civil rights litigation in federal court soon.

I am tired of being harassed, taunted and stalked, I am tired of my name being posted in OPEN chat, and even more tired that Pogo refuses to do anything, with over 300 emails in a folder regarding this issue and plenty of screen shots they accuse me of "altering" I have plenty to back up what I say. Pogo's response has been to call the police, to change my screen name, to hang up on me if I called to complain, to cancel my account and open a new one, but NOT once has Pogo taken a stand to put a stop to the harassment, stalking, racism hate speech. I am seeking legal assistance as well, because I am tired of the crap that Pogo allows, yet states in TOS they don't. Terms of service I always thought were in place not only to protect their company but also the players, if they aren't going to enforce them they shouldn't have them!

What is your beef with a site that many people pay for and have no problem with? Nobody but you cares if a game room is named strangely or what you think to be offensive. I have been a member of the site on and off for a couple years and the people chatting say more offensive things than the site does.
I personally think you are just one of those people that need something to feel important about. When in reality you are just some lonely guy sitting at your computer with WAY too much time on your hands.

Beemer Granny is a personal friend of mine, she enjoys the games here on pogo..This person "Madc1" has "Gone out of her way to Harrass and ridicule Beemer granny...I urge you to please take action in this matter Immediately..This has gone on for too long..

I would like to submit a complaint about bullying, harasment and very vulgar chat concerning children in chatrooms of pogo.com. The main room concerned is AliBabaSlots; 40s room; blowhards and bigmouths. I have complained and contacted club pogo several times about the threats and bullying. They have said mute but there are 10 people only in that room that cause all of the gang bashing. One woman was told she murdered her child by these people and these bashers go around club pogo and destroy a persons credibility. There have been death threats; death wishes; decriptive porn chat and well as children porn chat and pogo does not one thing when we report. Can they not provide a guide to that room to watch and take people out and either give them a warning or ban them. Someone is going to get hurt in that room before any action is taken. Accounts are being spoofed and its unreal that adults act this way.
I want to get my point across that bullying will not be tolerated. Drop by that room and see for yourself.

It is true that nothing gets done. I have asked in a report that a member of the PAL team go into Canasta Circus for just 10 minutes to see what we go through. I pay for my pogo membership only to play canasta and the Circus is the only room that has many players of my rating. Even though I mute the problem people I have still had a problem with the send me emails which I block and also writing in my guest book which I also block. Then they make a new name and the process starts over. They slander my name onspreading lies and rumors along with many other people. One man acted like everyone's best friend and got several of us players to add him to our Facebook and gathered all of the personal information he could and posts everything in the circus lobby. He has even posted the phone numbers of some of the players. I invite everyone to join canasta circus of pogo for just 10 minutes to see how many of the players are disparaged and bullied. Many of these bullies need to seek professional treatment. A few of them should be in jail.
WOW! I chatted with "Pogo Vincent" just yesterday regarding some of these SAME issues. Harassment, discrimination, and why Pogo allows such violations or THIER "TOS". You're lucky Joey that "Vincent" actually gave you numbers to call. He refused to give me numbers OR an email address where I could contact a "higher up." I've been fighting with POGO now for OVER 3 weeks about the SAME problem player. I have made NUMEROUS "reports" and have been to Pogo's chat site several times as well, and NOTHING has been done on their part to correct the problem. I have copies of ALL chats with Pogo EXCEPT the chat that "Vincent" and I had yesterday, he actually disconnected the chat saying he was going to get someone else to help me, then left me hanging in cyber space, and then I came to find out that he deleted the entire chat I had with him. I told Vincent that I guessed I was going to have to edcuate myself about Cyber Crime and take everything I have documented to my local police departments Cyber crime unit. I have been harassed by the SAME player for the SAME offenses, NUMEROUR UNINVITED invites to Private chat, I have been called names that in Pogo I would think would be offensable, however pogo when you ban someone for language tells you the "Pogo allows mild swearing", so tell me attacking me, a woman and calling me a cu*t, a flufferfu**er, this is "mild swearing?" This man says the "N" word, he TYPES IN CAPS 100% of the time. POGO does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, their attitude is to "mute the problem player, either he will stop or move on." Muting the problem player is NOT the answer because after 3 weeks the problem is still there doing the same offensive things. Because I would rather play in uncensored rooms doesn't mean I accept any and all harassment that is handed to me. There is a lot I can deal with online, but this is unacceptable. I have just recently changed all my credit and checking acount numbers. It's 1 week away from renewing my subscription to Club Pogo and they sent me an e-mail reminder. I've been trying to update my billing, as well as trying to log on to the website with no avail. Oh well, I guess it's time to move on. Pogo backgammon is a complete joke. It is the only site I know of to play backgammon yet it is ONLY for those w cheat programs. I play bg to relax, not to get beat by those who get quad doubles in one game and ALWAYS the perfect rolls.

I signed on to pogo to play spades but I am not able too.A group there put me on there so called hit list and now every time i try to set a table i get joined by one of them and they come in under a different name and they boot all of us off the table and take our seats then wreck my partners and I rating.Its weird how they do it too cause i set my tables for no watchers and if one of us happens to leave the computer is supposse tobe the only one who can play for the one who leaves, but they manage to come in as watchers or just come in as a player then boots the 3 that are all ready at the table and replaces all 3 of us with the players they choose to grab our seats as soon as we are booted.I have made many reports to pogo about it and the ones that are doing this action are still pogo members and they are free members and they hang out in a members only room week after week month after month and pogo does nothing to them at all but if a regular member like me says any curse word or anything like that to one of the cheaters i am telling you about they get permentally banned from pogo.I have seen already 12 or more regular pogo members banned for argueing with the game cheaters i speak about.Its frustrating and been a big headache for me cause i havent seen pogo do nothing to the group and I have taken screen shots of them calling members like me names or purposelly ghosting a table, thats not loading at the table and they do it intentionally.

I have played Pogo games for years and did not have any technical problems until the last 6 months or so...and it was not my pc...I now have a brand new pc and am still having problems such as receiving messages that I do not have Java installed (and when I leave and come back in the game will load and play with no further Java issues) or the game will just freeze. I love Pogo games but can't stand the tech problems. I really have to wonder if you are a Pogo employee...

Download games seem to get "lost". They can't find my The Rise of The Witch King add-on to The Battle for Middle Earth. The customer service rep. AARON (via chat) keeps taking forever to respond to every sentence and asked for the same information I gave as if he's got to keep refilling his coffee and leaving his desk. They should be able to look you up by name and send the download E-mail to you again within a minute. If you don't have the E-mail with the order number on it its as if you've switched to speaking Ancient Egyptian.

club pogo membership
when signing up for an annual membership for my husband and i, the understanding was that we both would have the year at a certain cost that would pay for the whole year. i find out later that only one membership was paid, and the other they charged monthly, which was extremely higher. i originally paid for both annual memberships and they only charged for one. it was agreed per phone call that we would be charged for both annual memberships. instead they swindled me into the monthly membership for one.

Games will not load on AOL Only on Internet Explorer. Even on IE it goes out from time to time. I checked with AOL, Dell and Optimum Techs and everything checks out with my computer so it must be Club Pogo. How do i get this resolved? I will drop my membership if this can't be fixed.
I have been playing for Pogo taken out of my Vizas for over 3yrs. All of a sudden I get a pop-up, Can't play unless I install a Java-plugin. None Of my other friends with Pogo had this problem, I tried for over 2 months, still didn't work, , but still paying for the service. Finally I hired a computer tech to try and fix the problem. I got into Pogo, finally something about a level 6 platform I had to install in my computer, Now it works, but I lost my orig page with over 3 mil in tokens, They want me to use the 14 free trail and start over... I just don't know what to do.I hope you can fix this problem for me.

I as well have an account with pogo. I would have to agree that they treat members and non-members different and I think it should be stopped.. I constantly get harrassed by non-members, and in a means of defending myself and family and reporting them they have said all of these nasty things to me about my family. I say 3 little things and get suspended. That is not the way i want to be treated, especially when I am paying for a service that I call stress free and peaceful these little unhappy have to come in and try to ruin other people's happy time.. So I really am left clueless as to why pogo wants to loose so much money over a thing like this. So if there are others out there like myself and the young ladies and young men out there that want to try and have something done about this then contact me please!

I do not believe the jackpots pay-out. I wrote to Pogo January of 2017 inquiring about the "Hog Heaven Slots" jp. A letter to the Editor about the same game/question was posted back in June of 2017!

For almost 1 year I have requested I had problems with chatting while in games with my friends. It was working but all of a sudden (for at least 6 mos.) I have not been able to chat with my friends. It is very frusting because I like talking with people from all over and they try to talk to me and I cannot respond. Please help me in this matter I cannot seem to get anyone to fix this problem. Ive played in pogo since the year 2017, an just in the last week around 3/10/08 they've done something to the site, i am a pogo club member, an now every time i try to play a game, it boots my cpu up to 100% on the browser as tho some one is hacking into my browser, has any one had this prob yet...

I`ve been a memeber of Club Pogo since 2017 and never had a problem. Now it`s 8/12 and I can`t play the games regarding Flash Player I try to install it and it says it`s all ready installed, but I still can`t play my games and I pay $40.00 a yr. When I try to talk to my friends sometimes it works othe times it doens`t. I can`t seem to get anywhere. I`m very upset over this. Can any help me? Thanks

DRI*ELECTRONIC is the company EA Games Store uses. So Check if you bought a game or started pleying an online game latly.
I myself got scared when I saw it on my internet bank but later discovered that it was when from A game a bought from EA store online.

In my bank statement today there is a RECURRING CHECK CARD PURCHASE for DRI*ELECTRONIC ARTS with the phone number [protected] MN on my bank statement starting Dec 21st 2010. I have no idea what it is for. I will contact the bank ASAP. It started on the same day I made a small purchase for the ASI*HUMBLE BUNDLE but that might be just a coincidence. I have no idea how DRI got my CC info. Upsetting to say the least. Where's the pitchforks and torches?

We pay good money 40.00 a year to be able to access games for intertainment play, you can sit for hours trying to get a game to load. they dont. after 50 email to the company from their site they do not respond in a proper manner. they give you steps to follow on trying to fix the problem which never works. They need to fix their server, their games or what ever it is so the money we spent is not for nothing. this is ridiculous. to pay for a service you cant get. Please contact them and tell them to fix their stupid website and games. its a rip off

On Thursday22, 2009 I sat from 10:30 to 12:50 trying to play canasta. This is not the first or even the second time I have experienced this problem. It's ashamed you can't even play a game (you love ) you pay to play. A frustrated customer.

My dear friend was reported for improper language in a game on Pogo.com. The person that complained popped in, reported the abuse and left. It was pure harrassment.
My friend would never type anything to offend any player. There are witnesses that were there at the time of the "offense". Furthermore, she sent me the warning that was issued by Pogo.com. It was riddled with "*&%#$^@#$% ...what are they saying in their warnings? Are they being more offensive than than some sweet, loyal, long-time member that was chatting about the weather? Pogo.com needs to get their act together. I see players that are abusive, get booted by Pogo.com, then come back with (1) minor change to their screen name. They (Pogo) aren't interested in the real offenders, just in the so-called offenses reported by some hag that's just looking for drama to complete their day.

People use cheats to freeze the board on Texas hold em ...you don't fold or time out but the game says you did...and please do not tell me I am not computer savy...I clean even the jave cache almost every other day ...pogo allows these cheats and people should rise up against these people because enough is enough

I have tried to reach customer service to try to buy some games! Every attempt to reach C>S> has sent me to many dead ends. I try to use the BUY sect. to no end. I fill in Product:, Categery:, Subcategory. I am given NO choises, nor do I have any idea what is to go in this space; PLATFORM: so I am someplace that is going NO WHERE. during this same time period, I did not have any problems getting to pogo to renew my menbership, so WHY can not I get to C.S.?

I also had the game, and I hated the fact that you couldn't have infants and toddlers, plus all of the glitches. I figured, oh well, that must be the price you pay for entertainment. But, then I tried it for the PS3, and while it's less "glitchy" and has more options for designing Sims and their houses, it still had the issue of saving once you reached a certain number of weeks. EA has to work harder in the future if they want to retain their fan-base.
I've had the SIm's Wii console game for a month now...So many times I had to unplug the game because of that freezing & even if you do all the work on your sim they die on you or they say your happiness days are over & your game ends...HOW STUPID? i DID NOT GO THROUGH ALL THAT TO LOSE MY SIM I WORKED SO HARD TO CREATE W/SKILLS & MONEY ETC...JUST TO LOSE HIM? Now I heard that the Sim's 3 for the PS & XBOX both have longer life spans that you can change...What the hell...Did EA give nintendo the ### of the lot? I'm pissed about it...& WHAT IS WITH THOSE STUPID TOMBSTONES? i BROUGHT ALL MINE TO THE GRAVEYARD & NOTHING!
i sold my house to buy a new one but when i went to buy it, it said there was noo free space! there was nothing on the whole lot and it said there was no room?! that game just gets worse
the game is extremely glitchy and is not at all worth the price. my wii makes noises like it is struggling to read the disk throughout the entire game. the people can walk through other people, the cars can do the same. also the buildings dissapear and make it nearly impossible to find out where we can walk and i always get stuck between buildings and it takes forever to find a way out. it was a valentines day present to me and my sisters and its so dissapointing that we can hardly even play it. :(
It seems like alot of people have this problems with the game freezing and EA has no solutions. I have the issue where my game no longer wants to save after about a weeks play and freezes on the red save screen. I cleaned my concoles memory, installed the latest updates, check if my other games can still save. My conclusion is that the games development sucks and they didnt test it correctly. And with regards to the problem, I posted 2 times on there forums and logged 2 queries and had a live chat with one of there call centre staff and the help I got was horrid! I agree! I was so excited to get this game for the Wii, as my computer doesn't have the requirements to play it...and now I am just so frustrated and angry - it freezes when I try to save or quit and the game play itself it nothing compared to what I've heard you can do on the PC. It IS a rip off and I did not know you couldn't return it, until I read this, which just furthers my aggravation. Ugh, did they even test this game before putting it out?
I'm on my third return copy of the same game since it can't be exchanged for a different game...guess what? All three freeze up within 5 to 10 minutes of play...I can't believe someone out there is making money off this obvious rip off! I'm sure this game works fine with other game systems, but NOT THE WII...they NEED to recall this game! My family doesn't have $50 to throw around. This was a Christmas gift for my kids and now they have no new games this year. Oh well...as long as someone is benefiting from our loss.
Some people are quite fond of it, but you should have done your research first. The reason why you can't return it is due to anti-piracy laws. As far as they know, you copied it and then attempted to return it.
