scam warranty
Received a letter that they had talked to me on 4-23-2019 and detailed a conversation I had with them about my car and how I told them I could not afford it. Well, they had great news for me! They said they went to bat for me and obtained a lower rate!
Isn't that wonderful?
If that ever took place it might have been but that conversation never happened.
I called their office and they had a file with information that said I did have such a conversation. It's a lie!
I demanded they send me the file so I could send it to the arizona attorney general's office for a fraud complaint. I was told only a supervisor could authorize that and they all went home...
I told them i'll call back. And I will.

they never pay claims
Endurance warranty does not honor their warranty when it is time for a claim. I had them for over a year and my first claim they tried to put after market parts on an audi a8, but the dealer told me in time. The second claim (12/2017) endurance denied the whole claim based on my wheels (for a thermostat... Really). I have reported them to bbb.org and many other places (like this site). Please do not fall to these scammers/liers.
In fact endurance famous words are 'we got you covered' also there are many warranty companies (like auto assure) re-selling endurance warranty... Be careful
Endurance warranty is an administrator so they have the final decision as to if your claim is paid. My vehicle was in the shop for over a week before endurance warranty denied my claim.
I will be posting and telling as many people in the world as possible... Hopefully I can stop these fraudsters
Good luck

scam advertising, data abuse
- Abuses personal information to send scam attempting to deceive the recipient into believing it's mail from an official authority and not the spam it is
- Refuses to stop spamming ("your data is publicly available")

- Carefully crafts a deceptive letter preying on elderly and vulnerable people
- According to the plethora of complaints, they are doing so for a long time and under several names and they should be stopped

very misleading notice
My 95 year Old Mother received this notice in the mail. She has never owned a car or had a drivers license so this was extremely baffling to her. Thank goodness she has the sense to show it to me before acting upon it. I feel this is an obvious scam tactic to frighten people into taking action on something that is not needed. How many other Elderly people have been taken by such notices. a picture of the letter is attached.

a car because I do not have a car
I have received a letter that said I had a car in which I do not and that my warranty was about to expire. First of all I never signed up for this at all . I never heard of this company and I do not know where they got that I have a car. I don't want a warranty I don't have a car so whatever they have under my name I want them to delete it. Why put a person that does not even own a car yet.

alert notices
This company sent me letters to inform me that my warranty service would expire if I did not contact them. I never purchased their service in the first place. This company is a scam! Don't be fooled by them!
Also there was no company address on the envelope or letter!
Obvious scam!
It is so irritating to get a letter that appears at first to be legit then upon reading it & examining it to see where it came from only to find out that they are simply trying to dupe people out of their money!

vehicle
So I pay $168.00 A month so there is a Warranty on my vehicle in case anything happens, These people are CROOKS they will tell you everything you want to here in order to get your MONEY but as soon as something is wrong w your vehicle they will find excuse after excuse not to cover it and will find a reason to DENY your claim so they don't have to pay, So why am I paying almost 200 a month? My transmission went out last week and I was without a vehicle and they are supposed to cover a rental vehicle right away but they kept making excuses why they could not get me a vehicle, Insurance Adjuster has to look at it first, then went to waiting on paperwork to waiting on this and that and they spin you for weeks leaving you without a car to get to work etc. But when you sign up and pay every month they will tell you different until something actually happens, They denied my claim for my tire having fix n flat in it from when my tire was low they said I modified my tires, How rediculous, I pay in almost 200 a month to be covered in case something ever happens, now they find any reason they can to deny me, so what was my reason paying these guys thousands of dollars and when something actually happens they don't live up to there end of bargain so BE AWARE OF THESE CROOKS

extended warranty
I purchased a 2011 Chevy Equinox in July 2016. It has 60, 560 miles on it. I decided to get extended warranty coverage and researched the various companies online. Endurance had the best customer reviews, so I called for a quote. The salesperson (Jason) described Endurance as "the best warranty company" available. He phrases like "bumper to bumper coverage"..."peace of mind", etc.
I disclosed that I had recently purchased vehicle, and provided the actual mileage on vehicle. I was given the quote, but said I'd think it over. Jason cautioned me that the quote was only good for the duration of the conversation. He said "the amount would not be the same" if I decided to call back...
I asked if I needed to have vehicle inspected PRIOR to purchasing the extended warranty and he told me "No, there is a 30-day/1000 mile waiting period" So, I gave a lump sum payment and agreed to monthly installments for a two year period.
Two months later, my engine light started to come on intermittently. The contract states: "failure to service vehicle when there is an indication of an issue" would nullify the contract, so I took vehicle to dealership. It was determined that the problem was within the crankshaft...
... DENIED!
I called to get an explanation as to WHY the claim was denied and the answer was perplexing. Endurance classified the part required as a "wire"; Chevrolet dealership said it was a "part". Either way, I was on the hook for $200. The customer service person offered to offset this by waiving my next payment. That didn't cover the full amount, but it was something. I had asked my service rep to do a complete diagnostic test since the car was there already. A possible issue with transmission was detected. I was asked to authorize the labor to tear down the transmission. I called Endurance to inquire as to whether or not the labor was covered under my warranty. The representative from Endurance told me that I should take my car to a transmission specialists. I said I would prefer to leave it at the Chevy dealership. He then said it was 'normal' for the owner to authorize the labor, but he added: "if a problem is detected, then we would cover the labor. There's no way for me to know what the problem is so I can't guarantee it'll be covered, but you have the highest coverage available." I asked for clarification "so if they find a problem, it will be covered?"
..."MORE THAN LIKELY"
One week later, my service rep phoned to say the transmission had been taken apart and they were waiting on an Endurance inspector to have a look. Ten days in... and I get a call from dealership saying my second claim...
... DENIED!
"Why?", I asked. The inspector told the dealership that I had not met the mileage requirements, which was not true. I had exceeded both the 30-day and 1000 mile stipulation. I called Endurance and after effectively disputing the inspectors reason for denying my claim, I was told my transmission problem was determined to be "pre-existing." So, after asking what I thought were the RIGHT questions (Do you need to inspect car PRIOR to contract activation?)
They answered..."No"
I asked to speak with a supervisor to cancel my warranty and the customer service rep said he would hate for me to miss out on coverage down the line.
I reminded him that so far I'm 0 for 2; its doubtful that I will need a warranty that only covers things "in theory only". He gave me the manager's name and number and I left three separate messages to no avail.
Not only is this the 10th without my vehicle but its the day of the parade for the Chicago Cubs. Oh, did I mention this is an Illinois-based company?
Yeah... I'm not holding my breathe waiting for a callback.
JUST SAY "NO" TO ENDURANCE!

extended warranty
I have recently was given a 2004 Lincoln Navigator from my deceased Aunt and I was surfing the web for companies that offer extended warranty on used vehicles and that Is why Endurance caught my eye, sure they have a good pitch on the website with all the help so I signed up thinking it was a great idea, boy was I wrong I did everything in order of the protocol in case the vehicle had any problems. And past my 60 days I went outside to start it and it wouldn't start. With the Navigator I thought it was a good idea to get it towed to a Lincoln Dealer ship because I had this extended warranty that will help me. I was so wrong when I touched base with the claims department I dealt with some rude people from the Endurance claims department and they were rude to the genteel man I was dealing with at the dealership service department also, he has never experienced this from any other extended warranty getting the run around ..Requesting that 3 years of info on records had to be fax, saying in order to cover the engine needs to be tore out well I cant afford 3000 of labor cost .Endurance was trying there hardest to accuse that the problem was preexistent... I'm a honest person .When someone told me they will call me back no call back and I haven't had a vehicle for over 2 weeks with Endurance dragging there feet back and forth with the dealer ship... So now I'm out a vehicle because I cant afford the dealership costs that is why I got this extended warranty, scale to 1 to 10 I give Endurance a zero.
the company refused to pay for the engine replacement
I recently obtained the vehicle insurance from Endurance Warranty Services LLC. After couple of months my car stopped to work and the towing company delivered my car to the mechanic. He found some problems in the engine and announced that I needed to replace the engine. I called to the office of this company and asked to pay for the transportation and engine replacement, but these guys started to diddle-daddle and found some fake excuse, why they weren’t able to pay for the engine replacement.

I too had a extended contract on my 2012 BMW 750Li Xdrive (AWD). I always had my car service at BMW North Scottsdale and previously Chapman BMW Camelback Road here in Phoenix. My transmission started jerky and stutter shifting with clunks every now and then and I got a TRANS Malfunction code in the tranny. Upon Scottsdale verifying the problem, they contacted Endurance for an inspection to repair. Mt car comes with staggered tires option standard tires, After the inspector DEEMED that I had oversize (staggered fit opt tires) tires on my AWD BMW per factory because the door plate reflect the standard tires and the Service Advisor informed him that the car come either or as the non AWD's will have or could be set up the same way, they denied my claim, did not call me to say why and if I had not called them, they would have cancelled my warranty without refund. BUT, I called them to get a BOGUS excuse of denied claim for oversized tires, What A CROCK ! Now they've credited all but $450+ saying the rest would come in a check after refunding my bank cards. They even went to the extent of telling me to look on page whatever, I told them refund me now or within 5 days if not I'm contacting the BBB for fraudulent advertising and refusal to own up to contract. BEWARE EVERYONE of this company, One rep on the phone said he was a manager and I told him let me talk to your Boss's BOSS and they both had the same BS answer... NEED A REFUND, last words!
We're sorry to hear about your experience and we'd be glad to look into this a little more for you. Please give us a call at 866-432-4443 or email us at CustServ@endurancedirect.com.
Thank you,

Endurance
There's no need for your company to look into this for me or anyone else that bought into your warranty service. When a Dealer tells you reps that the car is set in a specific way as it WAS PURCHASED then there should be no BS to make good on your contract. However, YOUR companies BS cost me out of pocket almost $3000 in repairs if I had not been a regular buying BMW customer and thanks to my Service Advisor talking to the General Manager about YOUR company and my contract BS with the Rep sent to inspect, I would have been stuck with a broken down $55000 automobile. Nonetheless, the car has since been repaired and sold. The BBB has heard about ENDURANCE extended scam plans and I pray no-one else gets draw in like I did hoping to have security for my vehicle and family. YOUR company caused an unexpected hardship that could not be dodged due to my wife needing her transportation for work and Me, as a Disable Veteran needed transportation for my many VA appointments, THANK YOU Endurance for making both our stress level go through the ceiling...
Endurance Direct Extended Auto Warranty
Traded in my 2009 Nissan Alitma, I thought the Extended warranty would make my trade in more desirable. But was told Endurance Direct was no good and had a history of not paying claims. I phoned and told Endurance Direct my car was sold and I needed to cancel my policy. They were very nasty to me on the phone and told me I could not cancel over the phone, they needed a cancelation in writing. So I mailed a cancelation letter. They still tried to charge a payment to my credit card. I had expected as much and had canceled my credit card. Now they are trying to trash my credit. Avoid these people like the plague !
To Whom It May Concern; I Edmond H Lemmo never had such a hard time just to try and talk to someone about my plan I wanted to cancel.I have a 2003 Altima engine started lil tapping, engine light came on, so my wife and I decided to go out and look at some new cars or certified preowned.I tried for hours upon hours to get though to someone to help me, they all kept transferring me to different departments that did not handle cancellations, so all i got was a run around worse of all waiting 15 to 20mins only to be hung up on 6 times.Bill, Robert miss directed me only to be hung up on byAlberto, Kika, &Mariah, Marcus miss directed me to be hung up on, now all these transfers ended with a hang up after waiting 15 to 20 mins each, Finally I got a man name Eric he got the job done excellent worker.
scam!
After careful research, I decided to add an extended warranty on my 2004 f150 since i had planned on keeping it for the long haul. Shortly after the warranty was added, i began to notice idling issues with the truck as well as stumbling. I took it in to the local ford house for them to diagnose and was rewarded with "It needs a new engine, the cam phaser...

I thank you folks for caring enough to warn others about these scams. I just called endurance and told them not to mail call or bother me again that I was tired of having these [censor] try to vacuum my pockets that I had run their company online and found out that their nothing but a scam they tried to tell me that their a+ with the bbb and I told them I just checked bbb and their online credibility and found out that their bbb standing had been revoked and that they had no right to tell people that and that I was going to warn bbb. but thank you folks so much for your help and advice I'm only sorry that it cost you.
not honoring warranty
I would like to complain about endurance warranty program and how they will not pay for required repairs to my ac unit. I have a contract with them and have paid over 1900 dollars so far. I took my jeep in for service back in April 2014 for service and the ac blowing hot. I performed a pm on my vehicle and was told that the gasket on my jeep was leaking, and I was told by the repair shop that it would be 1800 dollars for a new ac unit . I knew they probably would only cover 1600 dollars worth and i would pay the difference based on there website. So they called the endurance and they said that leaky gaskets was not covered under my warranty;so i would have to pay for it myself. MY better half called the company and i was told that i was being ripped off and i needed to get a second opinion. Well in arizona i could not get into a repair shop because of how busy they were. I am a 48 state truck driver and it is hard for me to get home on time the earliest appointment was a month in a half. Well i came home in august to finally get into oracle ford to do another pm and to get a second opinion. The bill was still 1800 dollars and they called endurance again and they denied my claim and now they are threatening to cancel my warranty due to neglect and keep my money. I even had a rep for there company to come out and they refused to replace the ac and they now would cover the hoses which is a 350 dollar part with a 100 dollar deductible. Customer service told me before that they would not cover anything and now they contradict themselves. The website says they're bbb accredited with A+ but there have been over 103 complaints posted by other people that all of a sudden showed up in the past 6 months. IT is a shame they use a a celebrity to promote there lies and deceit, be aware they will not cover what they say and if u do not fix the problem right away they will steal your money, Buyers beware.

fraud, breach of contract and deceptive advertising
Do not buy! Scam!
I purchased a warranty for a 2008 gmc acadia with 106, 000 miles that has had all its manufacture required maintenance done as directed by the owner’s manual. 101 days after we purchased the warranty and with 107, 260 miles on the car the transmission failed. The contract states that you must wait 90 days and 1, 000 miles which we fulfilled.
.
Stephen the customer service manager stated that the transmission fluid was burnt and had metal shavings so they couldn’t cover because there should have been warning signs that the transmission was overheating. I spoke to the mechanic working on my car, an extremely reputable firm that has been fixing only transmissions since 1958 and has all the qualifications and memberships. The mechanic told me the fluid wasn’t burnt and there were no metal shavings!
.
Stephen’s story changed, he told me he needed additional documentation showing the mileage on the car. I proved my receipts for an oil change and for work done by gmc (I had actually guessed at my mileage when on the phone getting the warranty and had 200 more miles than needed) . Now with the mileage confirmed he didn’t answer my calls for the next 2 days!
When stephen and i spoke again, i asked him to provide in writing why my claim was denied, he had to get back to me. The next day i called him again and he told me i would have to send a written request (Email or fax) to their legal group. The legal group would respond to my request?
.
That was 4 days ago, guess what…no response!
.
The only time this company has called me was 15 minutes after i completed their online survey. Now they will not call me back, you must always call them. I have learned from this experience, anything that happens to your car you should have seen the signs, even when you have no warning lights on? This car includes the towing package with built - in protection, coolers and warning lights for the transmission. As i have done research on the gmc acadia transmission i have found that the car will alert you of an overheated transmission and not allow you to drive with an overheated transmission!
.
Good luck!

I won't go into lengthy details on my negative experience with this company, but they are liars through and through, and conned me into purchasing an extended warranty, after I called the provided number in a letter I received, even though I repeatedly told them over the phone that I had purchased one from my dealer when I bought the car. They set up a recurring payment schedule, even after telling me the price increase on the warranty was a one time charge and that there would be no more. I got my credit card company involved and got the C.S.R. on the phone, after repeated attempts, to send me a cancelation form because I threw a word salad back at him that he couldn't repond to. These stupid people sent me another letter recently, not confirming my cancelation, but rather to call them because they had failed to reach me after several attempts. That, was another lie because they didn't. They are using the same scare tactics in that letter as the first, "Your car will not be covered unless you pay us. Or, you will have to pay for your repairs. Stay far away from these peoples. Spend the time reading their reviews on multiple websites, they all say the same thing. FRAUD and SCAM.
These people screwed me out of getting me a new transmission just by them saying the Vin # didn’t match in the records that THEY created how is it that the vin # was wrong from what I told them originally as well as already paying out the contract, smh I hope they get sued for every dollar
elder abuse, misleading and fraudulant sales tactics
This company used misleading and fraudulent statements to scare and intimidate my 93 y.o. mother into buying an extended warranty on her car that she almost never drives and the warranty cost considerably more than the car is worth.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
My Mom and I both purchased Endurance warranties on our older high mileage vehicles. After calling the company several times to ask questions about parts my Mom was treated rudely by a man in customer service. She told me she was cancelling her warranty several times but they always tell her they'll lower the price. She is on a fixed income and saw she was paying the same amount on her neXT bank statement. This time she was told by cs that they couldn't bring the bill down as far as they told her but they were working on it. I'm scared all the money we're paying in will be for nothing. Today I'm cancelling my policy and hope she will do the same. They train their Salesforce to be manipulative and pushy so buyers beware.

Well, these guys sold me a 100, 000 miles/7 year warranty. I thought that they are legitimate since I had another vehicle with warranty that I purchased from a different company. Their terms state:
"The maximum limit of liability of this contract, all claims paid and payable, shall be the lesser of a)$5000; or b)the actual cash value (ACV) of the vehicle at the time of repair as determined by the NADA trade value whichever is less." When my engine gave out on me, the shop called them to get an authorization to do the work. They told him that they will not cover any work before he could tell them how much was the work will cost. The reason is that they had paid out $3000 on previous repairs and now I am out of luck since my truck is worth only $3100 according to the trade in value of the NADA book. They did point this term out when I called to complain but failed to state that when I called to purchase the warranty. They are so happy to charge me the full amount when I first purchased it that they forgot to mention a very crucial term that will make every one take a step back before purchasing this so called WARRANTY. Just ask yourself one question, what if your vehicle is worth more than $5000 at the time of the repair? Then they will buy it from you for what is worth according to NADA minus the amount they paid to the previous repairs. IS THAT FAIR TO THE CONSUMER to lose their vehicle after they pay all the fees and the coverage. Also, I had the contract for only 3 years and 40, 000 miles. So the coverage terms for 100, 000 miles/7 years don't mean nothing. STAY AWAY AND RUN FROM THIS COMPANY.

service was not completely honored
I bought this bumper to bumper service about 18 months ago and have finally paid it off in full. My car's engine went out on me and I was nervous about using this service and praying that it was not a scam. My car sat at the dealership for two weeks waiting on an approval from the warranty service. They said they needed every oil change receipt that I had from the time I purchased the warranty. I provided them with every single one I had (which was all but one). After calling them every day, the woman I spoke to said she needed all the receipts from the time I purchased the car. I told her they requested only the ones from the time I purchased the warranty and she said no, we need every single one from the date of purchase. Fine. So I had to call up every company that I had taken the car to get serviced at during the 3 years that I had owned it and finally found and faxed in all the receipts that I needed. Meanwhile the car is still sitting at the dealership and I am paying for a rental car out of pocket. Finally the 3rd week, I get the approval from the warranty service. They approved the claim but would not approve 2 of the NECESSARY tests the dealer had to do to find out what was wrong with the car. Then they insisted the dealer use aftermarket parts. The dealer would not use aftermarket parts since they would not be able to guarantee the work with it. So after all was said and done, the warranty covered 1/2 the cost of the service, and I had to eat the other half plus the $600 for the 3 weeks I had to rent a car for a total out of pocket expense of $1500! As a consolation, the warranty will cover 2 days rental for $35 per day. Thanks so much guys! Believe me, I have learned a valuable lesson and I will not be recommending your service to anyone. EVER!

But did they approve ur request? and did u get ur engine changed for the deductible of $100 and nothing else ?
Plz share soon... thanks..
