Facebook my account was disabled

On the morning that I sent a Happy Birthday message to my cousin, which was the last time I had posted anything, I went to go on my facebook account later that day and for some reason, Facebook disabled my account saying it wasn't authentic. I was dumbfounded...Of course, you couldn't reach anyone by phone so I sent an email and OF COURSE, never received a response. How can they say that it not authentic when it put my name on my account. I DONT GET IT! Now I have my friends thinking that I had deleted them off and I have to explain to over 100 friends what happened. FACEBOOK HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! It's a shame that a service that provides millions of people with the ability to stay in contact with family and friends has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I have now gone back to MY SPACE which has my friends on there also...so I can pass the message on about the poor customer service that FACEBOOK has. I'm really upset over this.

I AM CURIOUS AS TO HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE THEM TO FIX THIS PROBLEM? I HAVE A LOT OF PHOTOS AND PERSONAL INFORMATION ON MY PROFILE, I ALSO PLAY THE GAMES WITH MY FRIENDS AND HAVE PURCHASE SOME EXTRA STUFF TO ENJOY ! THIS IS NOT RIGHT AND SOMEONE SHOULD GET ON FACEBOOK FOR EXTREME POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES TO THIER CLIENTS...

I very much agree. Facebook customer service and complaint response is of the poorest quality. You would think with such a social network reaping great benefits from consumer use they would be more concerned with customer satisfaction and in particular when a consumer feels they have been wronged i9n some way. In my circumstance, I was accused of sending to many friend request to people I did not know, wish is not true. I only invite those I have several mutual friends with or suggestions from other friends or people who have showed an interest in me, etc... But I recently ask a guy friend I know to be my friend and his woman sent me a message that I didnt know him and I'm sure she has made a complaint. But where is my opportunity to respond to such an accusation.. Also, Facebook encourages to seek out old friends, classmates, etc., and sometimes those people may not remember you or it just may be a wrong name identification. How else are you to know if you don't ask?

Has anyone ever told that posting messages (and sending e-mails) using all capital (uppercase) letters is considered to be "shouting" and is very rude?

Rather than yell at the visitors to Complaints Board, why don't you ask Facebook how long it will take to fix the problem?

To Whom It May Concern
I Lorraine Alsford Recently purchased Cafe Cash for My CafeWorld game On Sept. 29th and subsequently the following day I found myself Purchasing another Package Because I went through it fast.. ( the Packages offered were such a great deal ) Thank you for offering them .. In the following 3 or 4 days later I got a message that I was being fraudulent with terms and agreement and the facebook logo with dialog boxes appears wanting confirmation of my account, seeing this I followed the instruction but when it came to them asking for my charge card number I exited out of screen and did not give that, I thought this very strange... almost immediately I get another pop up from Facebook saying my account was locked and to change my password so in the Dialog set of boxes provided by Facebook I did as I was prompted to .. I went to pay my 2 purchases at my Bank and Found that I Had been Charged for extra Purchases for 2 games poker and pool games On Oct 4th I was angry I have never visited either one of these sites.. I don't even know how to Play poker or what this other game Is.. I don't know who to trust anymore.. looking at the status of my purchases you can see that I only purchase CafeWorld Cash !
I would appreciate a refund to my account and since I have never played or purchased anything for any other Game but my CafeWorld I have been to my Financial Institution and have put a stop to this MasterCard so there will be no other purchases .. I thought I was protected but I guess I was wrong... I saw the Lock on screen where our information is to be supplied and I want to feel safe doing so .. Facebook racism/sexual harassment

Today, I received numerous messages from this person named Brett Nead on Facebook. I have absolutely no idea who he is. My facebook is unable to be searched unless you are already my friend and my whole facebook is completely private! The messages I received were:

"nasty nig*** lover"
"bit** your nasty nig*** lover"
"the bible said not to mix races were do you think i get my info slut"

when i replied saying God made EVERYONE and everyone equal, he said
"by everyone do you mean those whov ripped your [censored]tt"
"someones an idiot it does so. your parents must be fighting so your a nig*** lover out of hatred."

"that pu**ys been hurt"

i kept messaging him to leave me alone, then he called me a slut.

THEN, I go onto his facebook and his whole entire wall is filled with Racism. Now, I KNOW he has been reported before. He even put up a status saying, " i cant send any more messages for a few days for harrassing niger lovers, " and that was before I reported him. So why has his account not been suspended?

Why is my, and any other victims only option to BLOCK him? Obviously, he is targeting people at complete random. He is out there SEARCHING very hard to find mixed couples to harass them because I have NO idea who he is and I've received messages. Does every interracial couple on Facebook need to be harassed? Because by me blocking him, that just leads to him going onto the next person and so on.

Facebook blocked my account for no reason

I have my account with Facebook, and my contacts are my friends, my family, my co-workers and it is completely ridiculous, that they blocked cancelled or disable my account because i dont know who said something about me, I am a professional, a human, real person, no scam, spam, or however they called, and there out exist some real perverts, that really need to be catch, no a single indefensive person like me.
i am so mad about all this, and i think its not even fair.

Facebook was recently having issues with female users getting their accounts disabled due to a attack.
I'd contact facebook to get it re-activated if it happened suddenly and without merit.

Sometimes Facebook has site issues. It may be temporary. I had that problem once, where i was locked out of my site for 3 days due to technical issues. Try contacting them and let them know that you are having problems.

Facebook RIP OFF

It is a 100 years old trick that has been around for company to make money. There is nothing new about it. Unfortunately, some people got suck into it.
Oh, those people who posted comment contesting it, you are probably one of the their staff.
From the consumer point of view. CUTCO IS THE SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. READ ON ...
I am a chef at a restaurant, I have plenty of knife, some good, some bad. I don't really feel that even for my daily usage, I need CUTCO knife. There are plenty of knives that work for me provide that you just hone it a little before using it.
The reason of my complaint is that THEY RIP OFF CUSTOMER BY CHARGING OUTRAGEOUS SHIPPING CHARGE. We have bought a knife just to help out a daughter of a friend who got suck into it. Can you imagine they charge me $10 for a single knife that cost $85. It probably weight less then 8 oz. I have just bought a Camera and a camcorder, and the shipping charge was $5.95.
What do you call that? A SCAM OR A RIPOFF. I call it both.

When I called the company to complaint about the shipping charge. A woman tell me "oh, it is a knife, it require special handling. We charge according to the price of the knife" WHAT KIND OF MARKETING IS THAT? THEY JUST WANT TO MILK OUT SOME MORE MONEY FROM CONSUMER.

I said that it is unfair to charge that much for a little knife, but she insist that that was my opinion and they don't really care since I bought the knife anyway.

What prompt me to write this complaint is that, we have got the knife today from UPS, and it is in the box weight less than one pound. I was so curious about what SPECIAL HANDLING was put on for this knife. Sure enough, when I open the package, I see a knife in a long white hard paper sleeve inside a plastic bag. There were some large bubbles in the box to firm it up a little.

TELL ME, CUTCO'S ANY ONE. HOW ARE YOU GOING TO EXPLAIN THIS?

several months ago I bought a set of Cutco knives (20 pcs) pearl handled. I never got a paid up reciept. I have asked the sales person (Monica Coomer) several times for the receipt. Comments were "I gave you one") Can you please check this out and furnish me with a receipt in case I ever need it to show ownership?

A person in your job should know more about knives than you do. First of all the other knives you mentioned will rust and dull down rapidly and need sharpening often. Cutco is stainless and does not rust and the sharpening is guaranteed for life. The price of Cutco is less then the knives you mentioned also. I sold about $25000.00 worth of these knives in a six month period and never have received one complaint about them..Those sales took place in 1993 and all of the people are still using them and have never had a problem with the company guarantee. I would still be working for them, but got tired of the demo's and the time they took, so went back to working for a living making much less money, but having more time to myself. Great product and I own the whole set myself and have only had them re-sharpen once since 1993...

Good morning - I work in a corporate office for Vector Marketing. We honor Cutco's forever guarantee without the receipt. Possession of the product is ownership proof. However, I would be happy to get a receipt for you. Please contact me at vectorpr@cutco.com so that I can get your personal information. I will personally be sure you get a copy of your receipt.

Facebook farmville game

I have been playing Farmville for as long I can remember. I would say almost a year without no prpblem until this morning on Nov 1. I went to go on my farm and my farm was gone. All of my animals, buildings and Halloween Decorations all gone. Now I have to start over.

I am very upset. It was working fine last night and now gone. All I want is my original farm back and my neighbors. I have worked too hard on my farm. I realize its a game on-line, but still, I should not have lost my game to only start over.

I want it back. Or simply will never play it again.

That's too bad. It can be addicting and it stinks that it got deleted. I don't think Facebook has the best security and it's easy for hackers to mess with people's pages.
But at least you'll still get to play it because you're not behind bars for killing your kid just to play the game like this nut:
http://www.411mania.com/games/news/159861/Woman-Kills-Baby-For-Interrupting-Her-FarmVille-Time.htm

Facebook facebook abuses

facebook abuses with nonsense rules. i can´t add me real friends, i can´t write to my friends what i want in the chat room, real life friends can´t add me. now they close my facebook chat with out explication.
they close accounts with out warning and people can´t save nothing of our things before.
i have two old account´s that were desactivated by facebook and i can´t delete them. they don´t let me delete the content of my old acounts.

Is abuse of power! sometimes people can denunce others base in false pretexts. and facebook resactivate accounts wrongly without proves.
IS unffair.

i should get explication about things when facebook close our profile or don´t let us write certain words in the chat.

IS ABUSE OF POWER.

I joined facebook with my name and my CHOSEN password, I have been on a couple of times only. I don't really like this kind of networking so I don't. Now and then they send me people to be friends with or birthday alerts etc. It's now the 3rd time in a couple of months I can't acess my account because it isn't accepting my CHOSEN password, it want's my AOL E-MAIL PASSWORD? I didn't give it that password nor will I and the last time I went on it wanted me to add my friends and it had my WHOLE ADDRESS LIST of which I never gave them...I don't understand how Facebook is able to get your address book and your ISP PASSWORD?

Facebook people I don't know

I noticed a person who wants to be friends with me who i don't know and they have changed their identity. They don't even know if they are a male or female and have changed all information now living in san diego. This person sounds like they just want my information, pretending to be my friend. I don't know who this person is and it sounds like a scam. No picture, no references, nothing to identify themselves, information received said male, then states female with a name of leo. Sounds like a scam to me. I don't like someone getting information about me, wanting to be a friend without references. Thank you, gayla brown

Beware of CUTCO salesman Sean Henry. He appears friendly, but he is out to get your money. He will offer you packages of knives for very expensive amounts when you can get the same quality knives for cheap at walmart or target.

This guy is totally out to get your money. He will manipulate you and do just about anything he can to get his hands on your money. He will harrase you and invade your home. Hide your children!

He will rip you off then go bragging to people how he scams them. Remember to watch out for the CUTCO company and the salesman Sean Henry.

Sean-
Before you go pointing fingers at who you THINK wrote this why don't you try getting some facts first. The person you think wrote this writes nothing like this- i have seen his style of writing more so than you have. Have you ever considered it may be someone you talked to during training or an interview or a customer or perhaps any one who doesn't worship the ground you walk on?
He didn't write this and had no reason to. It's wrong of you to automatically assume and go post about this slander everywhere. I'm honestly sick of you and how you think we are always the ones out to get you. We are over you and have been over you since you took your stuff and moved out. The only thing we have ever accused you of is not being a true friend to someone you used to claim was close enough to be your brother. We know catch is your life and wouldn't post something so ridiculous to hinder your sales. So do us a favor and take back that this ex friend of yours posted this because it's not true.

I have sold Cutco for over 10 years, run my own office for Vector Marketing, been in executive recuiting out of a midtown Manhattan office, have an amazing resume and love my customers and peers. I am proud to count Sean Henry as one of them. He has a great reputation in our company and when I told him I'd be moving from New York City to his city in Texas, he was welcoming and very hepful and will help my transition when I move. Feel free to contact me for an endorsement of Sean and/or Cutco now or in the future. Whether or not I am actively with the company, I wholeheartedly support my wonderful colleagues and the amazing product we sell. -Srsti Purcell, NY, NY (Srsti@hotmail.com)

Hmmm... very interesting complaint. My parents have owned Cutco for over 25 years and my grandparents have since the 70's. Not only is this product made in America, it is credibility has been backed by Consumers Digest and American Heart Association.

Sean works for a company that is credited by both the Direct Sales Association and the Better Business Bureau. We have met on several occasions and he is thought very highly of in our organization, peer group, and customers.

It is disheartening to find tools like the internet misused in situations like this, please remove original complaint.

I don't know where this information came from but Sean and CUTCO is definitely not a scam in any way. I have over 1600 happy customers and most of the time i dont even have to work, customers call me to order because they love the product so much. Please don't bash on a person or a company based on no evidence at all.

I personally know Sean, and this is completely not true. Sean has helped me become a better representative. He is a tremendous asset to the company which is certainly not a scam. You can go onto http://www.vectormarketing.com to check it out. Sean has been the #1 representative in the company many times, and is an outstanding representative. Thanks for your leadership Sean!

WOW. SEAN HENRY HAS BEEN SHOWING THE "BEST' PRODUCT OF IT'S KIND FOR YEARS. WHEN I SAY BEST, THAT MEANS THAT THIS PRODUCT SELLS MORE EACH YEAR THAN EVEN IT'S LEADING COMPETITORS. OUT OF THE HUNDREDS OF CUSTOMERS THAT CALL ME THEIR "CUTCO GIRL, " NOT A SINGLE ONE CLAIMS THAT THE PRODUCT IS TOO EXPENSIVE; YES, IT MAY BE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE JUNK THAT PEOPLE HAVE ACCUMULATED OVER THE YEARS...YET, IT IS NOT TOO EXPENSIVE. BESIDES, EXPENSIVE ISN'T A BAD WORD...IT SIMPLY EXPLAINS QUALITY. SEAN GIVES AMAZING DEALS TO HIS CUSTOMERS AND TREATS THEM LIKE CLOSE FRIENDS AND FAMILY. MOST PEOPLE THESE DAYS ARE A GOOD JUDGE OF CHARACTER...SO SEAN...IT SEEMS TO ME THAT EX-ROOMIE = 1. CUSTOMERS = 2000+. LET'S DO THE MATH...SHALL WE? LOVE YA BRO!

Hi there

I'm Sean Henry. This was posted by a ex friend of mine who was a bit jealous of the money I was making. There are absolutely no scams or rip offs. Most of my customers do like me because they can see that I work very hard. That's the difference between my old friend and I and that's why I make good money. It's actually pretty sad that I should have to defend myself but I wanted to set the record straight. Cutco is expensive but anyone of my over 2000 past customers will tell you that it is more than worth it. They will also tell you that out of all the salespeople in our company I give some of the best deals. I always beat the sale catalog prices and I consistently go above and beyond to meet my customers needs. The previous message was not posted by an actual customer of mine as I said. And whoever posted this, why don't you give me a call so we can discuss this. Unlike you, I'm trying to run a legitamate business and I don't appreciate this kind of slander. For Cutco prospects please go www.cutcosean.com and you will quickly see that I am a professional. Send me a message and mention this ridiculouys complaint and I'll give you 25% off just to prove my point. Thanks - SEAN HENRY

I absolutely understand where you are coming from. The exact same situation is currently happening to me (my account was hacked and password and email were changed). Even though i regained control of my account, deleted all of the false information, changed the passwords, and activated every facebook safety countermeasure they have to offer. Once again, it was hacked. At this point after i regained control i even went as far as to change all my email passwords and deactivate my facebook but the next day i found that they had reactivated it and continued with their attacks and humiliation. I know this is a personal attack towards me but the fact that anybody is capable of doing this is just terrible. Im disgusted and all i want is for my account to be disabled and leave this terrible website behind me.

I'm afraid that you will never resolve your monetary issues with Facebook. They are in the business of stealing your hard earned money - and not giving refunds for any reason, whatsoever. I have heard (read) your "story" a thousand times, but I have never read of anyone resolving any issue with the corrupt organization. Sorry you lost your money, but look at this as lessoned learned and cancel that credit card immediately.

Facebook highjacked account

My account was highjacked by someone who got in and changed the contact email address and my password--then erased my cellphone number and all other security identifiers before I knew it--3 days after I updated all of my Norton Internet Security. Now they are soliciting my friends for money, and I am blocked out. There is virtually no way to contact anyone at Facebook to prove that I am who I am and the person who highjacked my account is a hacker. I have tried, repeatedly, but get no response from them.
My email was also highjacked (even though the 2 accounts are completely seperate and have different passwords). But I pay for email (msn), called the Microsoft 800 number, and got that resolved in 15 minutes.
Facebook acts as though I am the intruder, despite my efforts to prove that
nataliie.[protected]@yahoo.com
is not me!

Facebook customer service

I have been a huge supporter of Facebook. I was even one of the few people in the world who would have gladly paid a small monthly fee in order to use Facebook as I have gotten back in touch with friends I have not seen in years, met family members I never even knew I had, made some excellent military contacts (as I am an active reservist in the US Army). However, several weeks ago my account was flagged and I was suspended from adding anymore friends when I was adding friends from my graduating class - people that I went to high school with. I have gotten multiple warnings over the last few weeks that I was behaving in a way that Facebook considered annoying - JUST BECAUSE I AM AN ACTIVE AND AVID FACEBOOK ENTHUSIAST! Tonight, I was on Millionaire City Forum and was adding friends WHO WANTED TO BE ADDED PUTTING "PLEASE ADD ME" ON THEIR MESSAGE so that I could build my city - the same goal they all had or they would not have requested to be added as friends in the first place. After adding approximately 10 other Millionaire City players ALSO LOOKING FOR MILLIONAIRE CITY FRIENDS, I received a message that my ability to send or receive messages was suspended due to repeated abuse! I understand that Facebook is responsible for deterring spam activities. However, I HAVE IN NO WAY EVER PARTICIPATED IN PASSING ON SPAM OR DONE ANYTHING THAT WOULD BE CONSIDERED ANNOYING TO ANY OF MY FACEBOOK FRIENDS OR POTENTIAL FRIENDS! It is also even more frustrating that with over 300 people in my graduating class, I can send friend requests to only a couple a week for fear of my Facebook account being deleted. It is also completely unacceptable that a business such as Facebook whose business is "people" has absolutely no customer service in place to help the people who use their business (and used to love it and not just tolerate it because of the benefits of staying in contact with friends and family and fellow application users) when their own business does not do right by their own customers. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!

The following is an email I sent FB . . . doubt they have even read it (BTW, FB email security@facebook.com):

Thankfully, my son sent you an email and you responded so I actually have an email address for you. Since Monday evening, I have been unable to even get on my FB's login page. All I get is a white screen . . . nothing else.

I have cleared cookies, cache, etc. and nothing appears to work. I've also been in a forum where (at this time) approximately 5000+ people are running into the same thing. Yesterday, because my husband doesn't logout of FB, he was able to get on. So I logged out of his, logged onto mine and BAM . . . white screen. And now, on his computer, he gets nothing but the white screen.

I have run my virus scanner, etc. Please tell me there is something I can do.

FB User name is: adcinsc@aol.com (**** **** ******)
Password: ********** (I was actually able to change this - don't ask me how - one of the hoops I jumped through - and then it gave me "we're working on this, check back again:

Please help., I have a business page on my FB, and I have clients contact me through there . . . needless to say, I'm in a quandary.

I have had the same experience and am insulted and annoyed... I tried to add people I most certainly knew AND FOR WHATEVER reason facebook banned me from adding...THOSE I ALREADY KNEW.
There are those who, for whatever reason, may claim not to know me...FINE...let them ignore or reject my request.
I am 61 years old and some of these people I sent requests to may not remember me, or for whatever reason;PERHAPS A RELIGEOUS OR OTHER VIEW I HAVE STATED, have made a comment.
Good grief...this is a ridiculous use of power.
The easiest method of bypassing fools is to not use this service...BYE BYE FACEBOOK

About Facebook

Screenshot Facebook
Facebook is a widely recognized social networking platform that allows users to connect and share with family and friends online. Originally created for college students, Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg and has since become available to anyone over the age of 13 with a valid email address.

The platform's core services include the ability to create a personal profile, add other users as friends, post text and photo updates, send messages, and receive notifications when others update their profiles or interact with posts. Facebook also offers a live video streaming feature, the ability to create and join groups based on various interests, and the option to create and promote events.

In addition to its social networking capabilities, Facebook provides a marketplace for buying and selling goods locally, as well as a gaming platform that can be accessed within the site. Businesses and creators can set up Pages to connect with their audience, run targeted advertisements, and gain insights through Facebook's analytics tools.

Over the years, Facebook has expanded its product offerings to include other services such as Messenger, a standalone messaging app, and has acquired other companies like Instagram, a photo and video sharing platform, and WhatsApp, an encrypted messaging service.

Facebook's services are accessible via web browsers or through its mobile app, available on various smartphone and tablet devices. The platform aims to facilitate communication and content sharing among its vast user base, which spans across a diverse, global audience.
