Flex seal paste
I'm writing to ask if there is suppose to be a 1"-1.5" cap of what looks like hardened paste? It made it extremely difficult to start using. There were no instructions as to dealing with it so I was quite surprised find it. Because of this cap making the container feel heavy I really thought I would have enough for my small project. Needless to say I only got half done. Was pretty disappointed for the cost of it.
Thank you
Chris Bridson
Desired outcome: I would like another free 1 lb container
Flex Seal Liquid White (gallon size)
After a thorough cleaning and drying for several days, I painted the flex seal liquid white material on a shower surround and tub. Waited another few days for the product to dry and cure before using. It is peeling off in multiple places. I was very careful to follow the instructions and still am having this issue. At this time the product cannot be removed, and I am out a lot of money. I spent the extra money on the name brand to assure myself I was purchasing a product that would actually work as advertised. To my surprise the product is not living up to being the quality as advertised. I am very disappointed.
The seller informed me I had to contact you directly!
Desired outcome: I would like to request a refund. Please advise me if photos are also required for me to be reimbursed. I can get them if provided with an email to send them to. Baileigh Martin [protected]
Flex paste
Purchased to fix the water leaking on out basement stairs what I did held but if all was usable wouldn’t have to buy another jar. Not happy my have to try the gorilla glue product instead as this was the second container like this. First one was your smaller container. The tried part was completely around the whole container not just part enclosed are pictures of receipt and product
Desired outcome: Coupon for another container
flex seal aerosol sealant
I purchased 3 cans of flex seal to water proof a large grill cover for my green egg smoker custom built cabinet. I sprayed flex seal on the seams of the cover, let it dry then reinstalled the cover. When I tried to remove the cover about 5 day's later I found it was stuck to the cabinet, the flex seal had failed to cure out and dry. Two months later and it still has not dried out. Took a lot of hard work to remove your product from my grill cabinet and I had to order a new custom cover to replace the one ruined by your product, flex seal cost me $13.00 a can X 3 and new grill cover cost me $170.00. What do you think would be a fair way to resolve this issue?

Flex seal in a can.
I purchased a can of Flex Seal spray at Walmart, brought it home and used it on a bad flat seal on the top of the slide out on my rv.
The spray came out more like water, not even the consistency of milk. As I am 68 years old I used the entire can since I was up on a ladder and did not want to run back to the store to get another can in hopes that one would be good so I used the entire product.
Who knows, maybe it will keep the crack sealed but it applied more like water than any type of "rubber on a can".
I really think I would have been better off just using a $1 can of spray paint to get in the crack and crevasses.
I will still try your product in the future but if it comes out watery I will immediately stop spraying and return the can.
Desired outcome: I am not asking for a refund or apology I am just letting consumers know my experience. Perhaps I just ended-up with one bad can out of a thousand.
Purchased a spray can of clear flex seal and after a good five minutes of shaking it came out like milky water, ran down the gutter. This is a sham of a product. Had purchase a spray can of white a couple of years ago and did not seal a leak in a water line but thought I would give it another try but wasted $15.00 on the clear also. Will never buy this product again. At least I was not out in a boat.
flex seal liquid
I have purchased 7 gals of flex seal liquid to water proof my basement with great results. I purchased 2 more gals at lowes on 4/7/22 to finish a wall at, When i used them they were Runey and did not cover like the other gals i used. The numbers on the cans were US855WHT01. Spending 180 dollars and having this results is not acceptable. Was this a bad batch or did you Chage something.
Flex paste
I purchased a tub of the 1lb white flex paste. I went home and shut my water off and fixed the small Crack on a plastic hose connection. Left the water off for 24 hours and when I turned the water back on water started leaking again. Called the company and I have to answer a questioner before I can return the product and send proof of my work and everything before they will even look at a return. Stay away from flex seal it does not do as it says.
Desired outcome: I want my money without having to jump through hoops for a month
Did they ever resolve your issue?
Flex sealant paste
Used paste on a small pipe water leak...didn't seal ! A week later, went to use it and it was hard as a rock. Lid was on it the foil was over it and the little moist pack was in it. Lost $12.99. False advertising.
clear flex tape
I used flex tape clear on the underside of a tin roof where two lengths of tin overlapped end to end and the joint leeked. I followed the instructions and the first time it rained the flex tape did not do anything the leek is just as bad as before I used flex tape .I used the tape on a clean dry surface and flex tape seems to be falling off when wet as flex tape is no good for me, I am contacting you about a refund your website has a add phots bit but the leeks don't show up on a photo but have included the photo in case it may show up for you
the flex tape was applied wednesday, australia time and it rained thursday aussie time so it had time to cure or dry and I am contacting you to clear the refund from the post office so they are not out of pocket
Desired outcome: does flex tape have a money back guarantee as I would like a refund
Flex Seal Paste and Customer Service
I purchased Flex Seal Paste in a 3 lb. tub at Ace Hardware. About 25 percent of the product was already cured inside the tub. I bought another 3 lb. tub at the same Ace Hardware. About 25 percent of that tub was already cured and unusable. I contacted Flex Seal Family of Products on their website contact form. Stephen emailed me and told me they would replace 1 of the two 2 lb. tubs but that I had to email a photograph and my receipts for proof of purchase. The Flex Seal email address provided by Stephen will not accept my emails from both mailDOTcom and outlookDOTcom. So I contacted the company again (via the web contact form) and requested their physical mailing address; because it is not listed on their website. I got no response; and it has been several days. Flex Paste is sold for 30.00 for a 3 lb. tub. Only 75 percent of what is in the tub is usable. I bought two more 3 lb. tubs of Flex Seal Paste at Walmart; and the product purchased at Walmart was also about 75 percent usable product. Flex Seal uses the following lame excuse: "Sometimes, different environmental or chemical reactions may cause our product to react inconsistently with its design." It is odd how the same environmental or chemical reactions are causing Flex Paste to cure inside the tubs at both Ace Hardware and Walmart. Or could it be that Flex Seal needs to tells customers that about 25 percent of the product will be already cured and that the price has been lowered from 30.00 to 22.50 to account for this.
Desired outcome: That consumers understand that what Flex Seal advertises is not always correct.
4" clear tape
I bought a roll of 4" clear tape to fix my hose i ran over with the mower. I cleaned it off put a small piece on the cut then a bigger piece over it. It still leaks out of the edges. I bought acetone to get the crap off the hose and after waiting another half hour I finally got it clean. Your product is a P O S, I waisted $20 that I could have put towards a new hose. Thank you
Desired outcome: Refund
Flex paste
I bought and used the flex paste EXACTLY as stated on the container. I was attempting to seal a leak around one of the windows of an above ground pool. It did not work on the outside so I used it on the inside. Finally went all the way around the window BOTH inside AND outside. Still leaks! Not a happy camper! I must admit I have used flex tape in the past on a water hose and it did not stick or work. You would have thought I would have learned my lesson. But that was years ago and you only had the one product. You can bet I will not be conned again!
Desired outcome: I would like to be compensated for what I have spent on your useless product.
2 oz white spray
Had a pinhole like in my pvc 3/4" water pipe. Followed instructions on the can and applied 2-3 coats. After 24 hours, leak was still there. Saw this advertised on tv and thought it would work. Wrong...waste of time and money

Ordering/customer service
I ordered directly from Flex Seal's web sight. After a couple of weeks I got an email from them saying sorry for the delay of my order but I wouldn't be billed until the order shipped. Then after another week or so I got a charge on my credit card for the product. So I waited to receive my order. Then just the other day I got another email saying sorry again but my order was delayed. Cancelled order, don't deal with this company! Very bad customer service.
Flex seal liquid in aerosol can nozzle exploded off and product went into face
Grabbed a brand new can of the aerosol product.
Shook the can like any other to mix the contents.
Pushed the nozzle down and the oroduct immediatly leaked out around the nozzle.
Took pressure off the nozzle and it popped off and product sprayed all over including my face. Thank God I was wearing my safety glasses. Got a rag and wiped off what I could washed with water to neutralize the chemical reaction and called customer service to see what the best way was to get off of skin particularly around my eyes and face.
Although the associates were nice enough they only suggested liquid Dawn or the higher second level suggested LAVA soap. ON A FACE?! I'm not dainty but my wife would cringe at the idea of using lava on a face and rubbing. REALLY!?
No suggestion of replacing product or anything worst experience ever. THERE ARE OTHER PRODUCTS on the market and I suggest to use them as at least they are not "habadashers" selling like the old west! Time to talk to legal.
I had exactly the same thing happen to me on October 30, 2021. I WASN'T wearing safety glasses but, somehow, it didn't get into my eyes. I'm very disappointed in their product. It's too expensive to throw out an entire can. And, in case you're wondering, I got it off with paint thinner and a cotton ball. It stings a little, but I won't be going to church tomorrow looking like a goblin. ; )
The gallons of flex and seal
So I have a black top balcony with a den downstairs underneath it that's was starting to leak. I went to true value hardware store and bought 3 gallons ($50.00 a can) of black flex and seal. We followed all the directions. We scratched the old surface with sand paper, we rolled on the first layer of flex and seal and let dry for over 48 hrs went back out and put a second layer then let dry for 5 days before letting anyone out there. This was spring of 2019 (march 2019) everything was great at first. The summer went by then the fall, winter and now here we are spring of 2020 1 year later and not only did the flex and seal dry up and break apart so the black top needs to be repaired again this year but now we have to repair an unsafe leaky ceiling in the den! Had we know it wasnt going to last long we wouldve done something much different. Not only are we out a $150.00 but now we need a roofer for the blacktop and a contractor for the ceiling underneath! I will see you guys in court! Nice that you can only add 1 photo for the damage! [protected]@gmail.com
Flex seal liquid rubber sealant coating
Dear flex seal, 5/4/2020
I writing to let you know of a problem I have just discovered with a can of your spray-on flex seal. Three weeks ago, I built a new large storage shelving unite in my garage and collected all my spray cans and loaded the shelves with them. Along with all my cans was a new can of your flex seal. Two days ago, I went to the garage to use the flex seal and found that the spray can of flex seal had apparently exploded and covered the shelves and the floor with a brown sticky liquid. I left the can just where I found it to show you that the plastic top of the can shattered when the can exploded. I have all the pictures you might like to see and thought you might like to comment on what has happened.

flex tape
My complaint is that I spent two days trying to seal a vinyl pool material and it leaked I purchased 8 in wide roll use the whole roll and it's still would not stick used blow dryer to heat it up still would not stick leaked out of every corner overlaid it with gorilla tape and now it works very disappointed in this product I was going to seal my basement walls with the flex seal liquid no longer thinking about it
flex seal liquid
I repaired cracks in concrete stairs with this product and it worked. Then painted it only to find paint doesn't stick to it. Called customer service to find a solution to the problem only to get a confirmation - paint does not adhere to it and my only solution is to remove all of it. No where in the can or product literature does it say NOT PAINTABLE. Now I have a big, fat mess on my hands that could have been avoided with the addition of two words to the label. I was warned not to eat it and I think the likelihood of painting it is far greater than than me eating it. Pretty stupid.
