bad attitude of your employee and managers
Hi, my name is Antonio from Lebanon and living in Dubai. I travel a lot to lebanon and mostly I use flydubai due to the prices and the flights availability.
During last month I was coming from BEY to DXB on the 2nd of June 2018 and my flight was at 10:55pm. My ticket allowance for luggage was 40kg+7kg as carry on.
During my check in in Beirut airport I have only the carry on and I know that it was overweight average 12kg but I don't have other bags and even I don't have laptop or cross bag.
I told the guy sitting on the counter that I need to take this back as carry on for 2 reasons; first I have a business flight from dubai to Bahrain at 10 am and I don't have time to wait and get the bag from the belt and the second reason there is food inside this bag.
Unfortunately, this guy don't have of the communication skills that should be a must from front desk employee, even if he communicate with polite people and they are talking in a professional way, he told me I don't care I have rules that I need to follow and you cannot take this bag with you, then the manger came and also he need thousands of sessions regarding the communication skills and customer care, he told me if I know that any of my employee accept a carry-on more than 8kg I will fire him the same day. I don't know how he can control this and he was sitting away and playing with his phone.
I was polite and I send my bag and one of your staff try to offer a free exit seat but I didn't accept I told her try to satisfy me by having my bag with me on the plane.
Till now it was acceptable for me because there is rules and this employee is following them, but when we was waiting for boarding I saw many peoples having very big carry-on bags, I went to the manager and I told him if you are following the rules and you know your employee let us bring a scale and check the weight of this bags and if they are more than 8kg you should fire this guy because he is not professional at all. The shock was that the weights of 4 bags were more the 15kg.
For me it's not acceptable if you have rules and I doubt, why your employee are not following them and they should treat all peoples the same and you should check what kind of managers you are hiring.
Note that from jan 18 till may I fly with your airlines more than 3 times but from now on I prefer to pay more and get a better service specially to deal with people that know how to communicate and to have manger looking for the customer satisfaction instead of staying hours on his personal mobile.
Really with you I had the bad aviation experience.

Yesterday 4 th June 2023,we flew from Pattay to Dubai by FZ 1446 , economy , the attitude of the air hostess was rude , as just 3 days ago we had flown from Dubai to Pattaya they had provided with blankets in economy, I did not carry my own on the return flight … yesterday first she said we don’t give blankets in Economy, we give only in business but on charge we can … after a few hrs when the cold in the cabin was unbearable I requested her that please give I will pay for it she said we don’t have it … the business class had hardly any passengers, so 1. Few blankets must be there , 2. She had not given blankets in Economy so it’s hard to believe that didn’t have .. Even otherwise it looked she was in a dismissal mood , I didn’t find her courteous too , we often travel by Emirates, always appreciate the Hospitality of Emirates it was my second flight with Fly Dubai … disappointed by the hostess behaviour

Firstly thanks a million for your very comfortable flights your services, your well trained captains and your professional staff.
In the second place I want to tell my story :My family and I with an old women (5 passengers) came early at 6 o'clock to go with the airlines on 10 o'clock in the morning in Jordan Airport on Sunday 10th of June (flight FZ148 transit to dubai-then to khartoum), we sit abit away from the gates but when we come to the gate 20 minutes before plan taking off one of the three standing employee (the boarding employees) said to us that the plan is going to fly now and there is no way to go by it now! she said we call you by microphones as ( Mohamed-my family- and jood-the old woman family -familys) but I want you to know that the plan was still opened and (last call) was still written in the screens!, note that Mohamed is the fourth name of my family and also Mohamed is most common name in the world which could fit most people in the airport, sadly the old woman can't read and write she didn't know much, your employees was very tough and rude and this is not fit your respectful professional company again I would say the plane wasn't take off yet( larg glass windows in Jordan airport), we talked to them and apologized for half an hour they completely refused to let us go to it till we saw the plan at 1o:10 flying!, it was really hard for my family.
Thirdly I would take this chance to thank you for your excellent flights and I would appreciate that you will solve our problem.

Dear concern,
I traveled with your airline booking reference FA3M74. It was a very bad experience faced the delay in flight and other issues but the most important matter is that my mobile Phone was missing when I reached Karachi from my handbag.
I want to draw your attention that when I reached inside the plane, one of your crew members asked me to put my handbag away from my seat in an upper head bin. I put my bag in an upper head bin away from my seat (backside). It was also noticed that during flight people were frequently opening and closing flaps of the upper head bin without any monitoring .Especially at "Iftaar time", this opening and closing was on its peak. As I my handbag was in upper bin away from my seat (backside). I was unable to monitor my handbag.
Although I am still shocked by this first experience with flydubai. Still, I have hope that you will help me to reduce some pain which I am feeling right now.
Please guide me what should I do next and can you please investigate if your crew members find any mobile on following flights.

I have booked ticket from Dubai to Astana, on 29th of may 2018 the return is on 5th of june 2018 unfortunatly my registration card has been expired for one day in the pasport control the police- man held me, he was asking to me why i didin't register as i could'nt find place to do that. So actualy they have cancelled my flight, and i dont have money to book ticket from Astana to Dubai. They dont care as i dont speak russian they asked me to find translator and lawyer. The lawyer and translator need to pay Im out of financial. I would appreciate, if you could help me out currently im In Astana I would love get back to UAE as soon as possible to keep working with my company.

making ok to board on visa for flights from pakistan
I am writing this email ashamed and upset of whatever caused yesterday to my parents at Karachi Airport due to cruelty and irresponsible staff sitting at flydubai travel shop in Dubai Deira. My parents supposed to come here and spend Ramadan with us and they were so happy to visit us until this happened (Kindly see the explanation below) ;
I applied visit visa for my mother from flydubai travel shop deira and after getting approval sms for visa i went to flydubai travel shop to get visa stamped ' Ok to board' which is required for flights from Pakistan. When i requested Mr. Hussein Sayed (sits counter no 7) to stamp the visa for 'Ok to board' as it was already done 'ok to board' online throgh email, he said its not required to stamp because now the process is online only, I reconfirmed with the lady sits next to him at counter no 6 she also acknowledged, so i sent same visa scan to my parents coming through flydubai flight no FZ 0336 on 23rd may 2018 (KHI to DXB). When my parents checked in at counter in karachi the person at the counter refused to give boarding pass saying its not stamped 'Ok to board' you have to make it stamped to get boarding pass. My aged parents in condition of fasting ran here and there felt a lot of inconvenience and pain to get it stamped after paying 500 Rupees each to the agency at karachi airport. My father aged 60 fallen on the escalator due to raised blood pressure due to this situation caused minor injury to him.
I have all documents and 'ok to board' email confirmation with me in my email which was done 5 days before flight.

Dear Fly Dubai staffs; I have traveled from Islamabad to Juba South Sudan this previous Sunday, dated 6 May 2018. Upon arrival I discovered that my sports kit/cricket bat is missing. My flight was cancelled on the 20th of April from tribhuvan airport but the airport was closed. No flydubai representative was there and the flight was rescheduled after 3 days.
Due to the Malindo Air flight blocking the runway, our flight was cancelled. There was no representative at the airport to give us any information regarding the next outbound flight. It was an absolute mess and chaos at the airport. This caused unnecessary stress especially with two young children.
We were then told by Tribhuvan International Airport staff, to make way to the emirates travel agents as we had checked out of the hotel.
Incurring taxi costs to and from the airport twice as we were advised to go back to the airport.
Due to the run way not being clear and no returns flights for 5 passengers we had to wait until Monday 23rd of April with a 9.5 hour transit. I asked for a hotel or lounge and Mumta basnyat denied our request starting that is should be Flydubai who we should speak to, I had already spoken to Flydubai and they had advised it was Emirates who should be providing us with food vouchers and lounges. This is poor customer services for an airlines who pride themselves on family services and values.
I had to pay for a hotel for us all to stay in at Dubai due to the transit being long. Our original, which I specifically asked for being a short transit, which was 4 hours.
Additionally, the the day before departure from Scotland on the outbound flight we got a call from the travel agent to advise us that the transit had changed from 4 hours to 3 hours. Which we were not happy with but were advised we had no choice in the matter as Emirates had cha fed their flight times.
We have incurred hotel, extra taxi costs, food costs, and in addition we had to take additional annual days from work due to this distribution.
We wanted to leave on Friday 20th of April but mumta advises the transit would be 14 hours and it would be difficult with the kids then when I asked why we wouldn't be provided with a hotel she lied and advised we would not be entitled to a hotel, which is not true due to aviation Law stating that if there is a 12 hour delay you need to provide us with a hotel. So your staff are spouting lies to customers.

I was travelling on May 2nd from Cairo to Dubai through Emirates airlines (flight EK 926), transit in Dubai, and from Dubai to Kathmandu (flight EK 2355) on Flydubai. First of all, the Flydubai's plane did not take off on its scheduled time. We were kept waiting in the plane for like an hour before it took off. This was enough time for all the baggage from the first flight (Emirates) to be boarded on the second flight (Flydubai). Yet, I received a message when I arrived in Kathmandu that my baggage (EK 191633) could not be loaded. Instead of giving me a specific time when my bag will arrive and instead of giving me detailed information of what went wrong, you told me in the message that I should "contact flydubai staff" at my arrival airport, who was not anywhere visible! I had to contact the baggage troubles desk or whatever its name is, whose staff contacted you. I was told the bag is going to arrive on the next flight which lands at around 6 pm Kathmandu time, and that it was going to be delivered to my hotel which I gave its address and contact information and everything. The bag was not delivered to my hotel, and on calling your office at Kathmandu, the officer told md that the computer system is down so he cannot check whether my bag arrived or not!
I had to personally go back to the airport at after 9 pm to look for the bag and bring my bag by myself, which I found on the floor.
So your officer could not check by himself that the bag has arrived, call me, reassure me that everything is alright, even schedule a delivery date to my hotel?!?!
Does your system know very well how to deliver a "we regret to inform you that your baggage could not be loaded on our flight" but cannot send another message with the updates of the situation?!?!
Do you understand how this affects a backpacker like myself who has a specific itinerary based on the fact that he has everything in his bag?!?! And who would change all scheduled plans for fear that his bag may not be delivered in time due to unprofessionalism from your side?!?!
How am I supposed to trust your airlines in future travels?!?! This was my first time dealing with you, and can very well be the last!

Really this type of people distroy the image of your company. He can't make any difference between people and their education.

LINE ) وذلك لزيارة اقاربي بالعين وقد تم ايفاء كافة المستندات المطلوبه عبر النت وتم دفع رسوم التاشيرة ثمانية وعشرون ريال تقريبا عبر فيزا كارت الي ان تم استخراج التاشيرة وعليه قمنا بحجز تذكرة السفر صلالة/دبي/صلالة والبالغ قدرة سبعون ريال عماني وذلك مساء يوم السبت الموافق 7/4/2018م وتوجهت لمطار صلالة وانهيت الاجراءات من كاونتر فلاى دبي واستودعت اخي والمودعين لي في امان الله وكل شيء تمام وحمدت الله بوصولي لمطار دبي واخبرت اقاربنا بوصولي لمطار دبي لاستقبالي وانني تحت انهاء اجراءات الجوازات وبعدها فوجئت بانهم لم يسمحوا لي بالدخول - واخبرني المسئول بمطار دبى كيف سمحوا لكي في مطار صلالة بالمغادرة ؟ وان هذا خطـأ منهم ؟ وبالسؤال لماذا ؟ اخبروني لابد من وجود الكفيل معي كيف يعنى ؟ - قالوا هذا قانون - وكانت الصدمة الاولي ! خبرتهم بان القانون علي العين والراس مافي اعتراض بس ليه مااخبروني في مطار صلالة بدلا من البهدله والموقف الحرج ! ثم سألتهم والحل الان - اخبروني لازم ترجعي صلالة ! حاولت معهم في اى حل تاني استثنائي ومناسب رغم اني شرحت لهم اني جئت فقط زيارة قصيرة للاهل - فا حاولت معهم من هنا وهناك وللاسف دون جدوى ورغم انها ليست غلطتي وفي الاخر اتحمل عقوبتها ؟ المهم رفضوا ولابد من الرجوع وكان اخذوا مني جواز السفر والتذكرة وورقة التاشيرة ولم اعرف كيف اتصرف - المهم وافقت على الرجوع مضطره وبالسؤال هل هناك رحلة الان لصلالة وكانت الصدمة الثانية اخبروني ان مافيش غير رحلة تاني يوم الساعة الخامسة مساء الاحد - وللاسف لم اجد اي وسيلة غير ان افوض امري لله واستسلم للواقع ومكثت اليوم بكاملة بكراسي صالة المطار وذلك من وصولي في الساعة العاشرة مساء السبت 7/4 الي اليوم الثاني في الخامسة مساء الاحد 8/4/2018م لحين موعد الطائرة ولم يراعوا حتي انني سيدة كبيرة ولوحدي وجئت في زيارة قصيرة اجتماعية ولم اجد حتي مكان للراحة حتي لو برسوم وللاسف الشديد جلست بكراسي المطار الليل بطوله والنهار بطوله والكل يعلم بمتاعب الجلوس لمدة طويلة واثرها ممانتج عنه الم وورم في الارجل مع ارهاق جسماني وصداع وما زلت حتي اليوم اعاني من هذا التعب .

• شراء بعض الهدايا الخاصة من صلالة .
• حضور وانتظار الاسر والاصدقاء بمطار دبي للاستقبال .
• استعداتهم لي لبرنامج الزيارة والضيافة وماشابه ذلك .
• كنا نامل لو تم الالغاء او التوقف في صلالة كان افضل مما حدث .
• ومن جانب اخر ما تحملته من رسوم التاشيرة + تذكرة السفر .
ولما كانت كل الاجراءات القانونية قد إستكملتها من جانبي وقد غادرت من مطارصلاله الي مطار دبي دون أي معوقات وبعد مراجعة المسئولين لكافة الاوراق قد صدر أمر السفر وركوب الطائرة .
ولما كانت المسئولية التقصيرية تقع علي عاتق شركة الطيران ومطار صلاله ، وحيث أنني قد تكبدت خسائر مالية ونفسية وصحية بالغة دون ذنب مني ، وحيث أن القانون يلزم كل من أرتكب خطأ للغير سبب له ضرراَ يلزمه بالتعويض ولو كان غير مميز .
بناء عليه ... وطبقاَ لنص المادة {204} من قانون التجارة التي تنص { يسأل الناقل الجوي من الضرر الذي يترتب علي تأخير وصول الراكب أو الأمتعة أو البضائع ) ، وحيث أن المادة [206] تنص علي إعفاء الناقل الجوي من المسئولية إذا اثبت ان الضرر كله نشأ بخطأ المضرور ، وتنص المادة {208} لا يجوز في حالة نقل الأشخاص أن يتجاوز التعويض عشرة ألف ريال عماني .
وحيث تنص المادة {194} يقع باطلا كل يقضي بإعفاء الوكيل بالعمولة للنقل كلياً أو جزئياً مما يلحقالراكب من أضرار بدنية .
والي غير ذلك من ما استقرت عليه أحكام المحاكم وقانون الطيران وضوابط السفر والتأكد من سلامة أوراق المسافر. ولما كانت الأضرار جسيمة لا يمكن حصرها

فإنني أطالبكم بالتعويض عن هذه الأضرار والتي لا يمكن أن تقل عن خمسة ألف ريالً عمانياً عن الأضرار المادية والأدبية والنفسية والصحية التي أصابتني من جراء الخطأ والضرر وعلاقة السببية بينهما .

Hi,
Yet another disgusting experience with flydubai. Flight which is suppose to take off at 11.40 dubai time is still standing still waiting for some other passengers who have a layoff here in dubai.
I don't understand why the hell am i inside the plane when there is a delay off almost 1hr and 30 minutes... its very uncomfortable to be seated like mannequins, motionless do nothing but just wait for another [censored] announcement from the captain.
He announced a delay of 15 minutes and in reality was a delay for 45 mins... set the expectation right so that atleast the passengers are prepared for it.
Above all they did not even serve us a glass of water just a courtesy gesture. What kind of hospitality is this?
I am surprised that a subsidiary of emirates airline is providing such an terrifying experience.
I will take this up with the aviation ministry.

I feel very offended with picture that has been choosen to represent Khartoum, even if it provided by the search engine the company should filter pictures and choose appropriate pictures that repesent good image of the city make sure what is send via the airline email is appropriate.Its very disappointing and disturbing. RE: Business Lounge at Dubai International's Terminal 2
I am a Gold status member and am not impressed with my Gold benefits and your staff ground staff's attitude.
This morning, traveling economy with my daughters, 6 and 11 years old, from Dubai to Tbilisi, I was given access to the lounge at terminal 2 as required, but my children were refused entry and access to the FlyDubai business lounge. Actually, as per your staff's suggestion ... "they can wait outside" !
Firstly, I should be able to invite someone to the lounge, specially my children traveling with me. Normally other airlines, do extend such a privilege to frequent flyers, members of the airline highest category;
Secondly, its a total lack to courtesy and comprehension of a responsible person (a parent) to suggest to leave a 6 and 11 years old child outside while the adult is enjoying the comfort of a lounge; and
Finally, your staff did lack compassion and had a total disregard for my children safety by suggesting to leave them outside.
its more surprising the FlyDubai as an offshoot or a sister company or a code sharing company with Emirates, to have such a cold and insensitive attitude.
Am deeply disappointed but this seems to be the attitude cheep airlines, not a low-cost carrier.

Es Salam Balekum! I was scheduled to travel KTM/DXB/CMB and CMB/DXB/KTM (14th April-22ndApril) under PNR 6Q067N: previously it was scheduled for 04March-08March for which I was compelled to pay NPR 18k as postponement charge. Later my wife Jaya Lohani also got ticket for same itinery to accompany me under Booking Reference RH9ED4. Due to unavoidable circumstance, both of us have advised our ticketing agent to postponement to 01May-11 May for same sector for last three days but your GSA at Kathmandu has been demanding huge amount, as informed by my travel agent, as postponement charge. Both of us have got UAE/SL visas and compelled to travel on 01May-11May fixing business meeting /sight seeing in both DXB 'n CMB.
I never thought to be in trap of the airlines like this. I was resident of Dubai for three years as being SM of RA in late 90s working together with DNATA under Mr. Ismail Al Banna and it's quite hurting me. May I vow for never to travel with FlyDubai? Please adv...

My flight has been canceled I have contacted the airline via an email message and have been leaved without any response. I need to get the answer as soon as possible to organize my trip. I have contacted the local office of the company, but they told me that they can not help me as I have booked online, and I have to contact then directly, but now I am left without any answer. I was wondering if the company must refund or pay the hotel price instead of me until the next flight.
online check in issue and rudeness and disrespect of the call center employee
Booked a flight going to Baghdad on the 3rd of April. Even though the booking was done online for two people, one booking was checked in online and the next was not with a message saying booking should at the counter. I called the customer center to clarify, the employee did not give me any explanation saying that it is in the system. When I tried to clarify which department or person would know as I need the online check in because I am coming from a different city and that is the main reason I regularly book with flyDubai, he did not offer any help or any guidance telling me to email and wait three days when my flight is on the next day! His way of talking was very rude and disrespectful and something I did not expect as a regular customer. Now I have one person checked in online and myself have to go to different counters with no help or understanding as to why that is happening.
