Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with my online experience with foschini.
This is the 2nd time I ordered with you guys.
The top delivered me was not the top the ordered online.
I had to call center, who logged my request.
I then received an email that I can cannot get the item I ordered replaced with the correct one, I would need to go to the store and return it or have it collected and wait for the refund.
Don't you have quality control to check if the items are what the client ordered!
I requested for a collection on the 11th of Feb, I have numerous emails from tfg about investigation but nothing about collection or refund... They keep asking me for the product code, which I keep providing... It is only today after 8 days that they decided to log a request for the collection of the item. I requested for a call - no one contacted me.
I sent emails to a consultant named rehana no feedback provided after her emails.

I bought the above mentioned phone at Foschini east gate on the 12th of January 2021, the reason behind the phone purchase was for my spouse to use it as a bolt driver because the current phone was giving him issues in terms of space. To our surprise when we got home the phone wouldn't allow us to download the bolt driver app. We contacted other Huawei users doing the same job and they confirmed that unfortunately this type of phone cannot download such an app. On the 13th of January we went back to the store and we were helped by the cashier who has shown no interest in helping us at all, she called her supervisor by the name of Rose and she also didn't show any form of empathy to us as customers. She later went to the back and came back and told us we can exchange the phone and get another one that will serve our purpose, so the issue was now a receipt that we misplaced, went back home to look for it and it was nowhere to be found. My spouse went back to the store to explain that we can't find the slip but we only had just a slip for TFG rewards and the lady Rose is the one who assisted us yesterday and she confirmed that she can still remember us. But because of a mere slip the exchange couldn't be done of which I think it's totally unfair to us as consumers. We were not treated fairly, the slips can easily fall and the reprint should have been done in that case. Now we are sitting with a phone that won't help us at all. Account handling
My mother was making payments @foschini gateway on my behalf due to my hospitalization, all was well until feb 2020 when she was turned away. Apparently due to non payment but r1000 was paid in dec which covered jan according to billings dep (received contradicting info from other dep). My mom was told my acc was in areas & store screen was blank my info unavailable & I must physically go in which was impossible. Few months later I addressed matter with cust serv and waited on an area manager to contact me which has not happened 3 months later. I'm disgusted/angry at level of unprofessionalism. I am taking legal action at this point as the stores actions are unethical and discriminatory. I will withhold payment until the matter is addressed. Shame on you and your incompetent staff.
Payment reversal
I went to buy an item at the Vincent Park Branch.. After the transaction went through from my bank. The sales lady indicated that the system switched off & can't retrieve the sales. The Supervisor advised that she must follow the procedure for reversal. I was promised that the reversal would be completed within few hours.. Its more than 24 hours now, & I haven't received my money. I don't even have the item. I called since I can't go to the store, I was promised to be called back but nothing. I called Head Office, I was told my call would be transferred to Bank Matching. It rang & got cut off several times.
Service from call center
I called the call center today just to try and update my email address, as I have lost my job now after the Covid-19 lockdown and needed to change my email address, as my statements are all going to my ex-work email address and as such I needed to change it to my personal address.
That is all I wanted to do, but now for some reason and apparently for failing a security question, which I can assure you I have not, now my account is blocked and I need to go in to a shop with three months bank statements est.
How can you tell me to go into a shop with this virus out there?
That is why I tried to resolve the matter on the phone as I do not want to go out in public in this time, and only go out if absolutely necessary at all times! This should be obvious to your company!
It is unbelievable how I cant just change an email address on the phone, now you want me to go to a bank and then go into your store with all of this paper work that will cost me money to get, as bank statements cost money to get printed at an ATM, all just to change an email address?
No guys, you have just lost a loyal, on time paying customer that you had for over 15 years.
This is not how you handle things during a pandemic, or customers for that matter.
I had the same response, but mine was to change my mother and I's proof of residence as we relocated to another province.
After explaining that my mother has many underlying ailments and is older than 60, I was told "I understand mam, but you will have to
go to the nearest branch.
My mother, who opened an account in the 70's, gets treated this way. Goodbye Foschini!

I ordered a sweater on the 18 april 2020 after weeks without my package arriving, I called foschini to follow up on the item and was told that delivery is still in process.. A week later heard the same story again.. On the 3rd attempt I cancelled the order as I still had not received my package..3 weeks later and I still have not recieved a refund from them. I paid cash for the order.
Shoes
I recently bought shoes at Foschini size7 which is my normal shoe size their shoes have damaged my feet, my feet hurt after wearing them making me to have blisters and cuts because of the shoes this is not the first time having this problem with their shoes I have photos to attach
I had to visit a doctor for these blisters because 8 could only wear flip flops
Insured handset
On the 16th of December 2019, I submitted my damaged handset in for repairs. After many back & forth communications, I have not yet to date received positive feedback on getting my handset. The only real feedback between the insurance company FinRite & Foschini, are of a lack of customer satisfaction. Their services are putrid, way below standard. I am disgusted by this.

Foschini group has been advertising that if you open an account with them, you get R1500 worth of shopping vouchers. After opening this account I asked for my vouchers, just to be told that it is only an advertisement and vouchers will only be handed out to customers who open an account after a specific date. I read the advertisement outside their window and a date is nowhere stated. Foschini's are thus misleading their consumers, this was not mentioned to me when I opened my account. I made an eft payment on my account yesterday 2nd Dec, and received a sms stating that I have 24hrs to pay my account today 3rd Dec. I called the "collections" department, who I could hear by her voice that she did not believe me. I then asked to speak to a manager, who then put me through to an Elliot Schoeman, who said he was the manager. I was asked to send a proof of payment before he believes me.
Why should I pay BANK CHARGES FOR A PROOF A PAYMENT FOR INCOMPETENCE. Since when do you not get a grace period for payments anyway. Sunday being the 1st Dec, they expect payment. I then asked for his managers details, only to be given a name which is incorrect that is not his manager, as well as a telephone number that does not exist. Good day, extremely disappointed with Foschini such a big retail company with useless personnel.
I have made a payment by eft on the 30th March, in fact the payment want made by a third meaning another company obviously the proof of payment is a business proof of payment.
I have sent numerous emails with proof of payment to Eleanor, Nurjahaan, customer services and accounts but no luck. The reference number they used is wrong hats the reason why i have sent the proof for them to allocated to the correct account you know thats is basic accounting principles.
The reason why the payment was made with the wrong reference number is because another incompetent personnel send me the wrong statement.
Can someone else fix this.
We are on the 10th of may but nothing is happening.

I have bought a phone in-store in May 2019 and the phone stopped working on the 29th of September 2019 I took it back to the store explained that the phone stopped working, and I was advised that it will be sent to repairs, till today I don't have the phone and annoying part, not receiving feedback. Good day customer services
I have been a valued customer for the past 10 years however there have been two incidents of unprofessionalism at the goldfields mall Foschini situated in the Free State province that has led to this decision.
I returns a few items on the 6th of November 2019, and was refunded however there were two items that still had the magnet on them when I returned then due to staff failing to remove them and I found this out only when I got home. In any case I was refunded as normal and all items were checked.
I then walked into the store yesterday 7th November to get an anniversary gift for my husband and was approached by a Colette sales lady named Ursula who brought the bag that I returned a day ago to show me that the bag looks used, I told her that I did not use the bag, she then opened it and showed me some marks that shows it was used and accused me of returning a used item. I sincerely feel that this was deformation of character.
I then asked to speak to the manager and she said that the manager is not there and I told her that I will report this incident and she kept on being verbally abusive to me as the customer and had the cheer on of her other colleagues on the floor, all young, naive and unprofessional and probably uneducated too.
This is no way to treat a customer and also they have no skills at all when it comes to treating a customer with respect since she started being insulting saying words like "Sies this is not Johannesburg " and screaming since the manager was not there.
I do not feel that Foschini management hires the right Calibre of people at the Goldfields mall, and being such an elite store, this stands as a great disadvantage.
I do not want to lower my standards and deal with such people especially after a long hard day at work thinking I would unwind with some shopping at my favorite store, I always buy for large amounts and I pay timeously.
I do not wish to enter the store again and I would like my account closed with immediate effect.

Yesterday I got a call from a very unhelpful and cocky girl called Taryn who informed me that the sneaker that I purchased online is not available anymore because the warehouse "oversold" the sneaker. I was then told that I had to do a manual credit from my side in order to get my money back...like it was my fault that the warehouse oversold and now I have to go through this process to get my money back from TFG!
When I asked questions about the manual credit that I have to do from my side...because I've never done something like this before...she became very irritated and told me "we at online store don't do that you will have to do it yourself!" Firstly, I don't know how to do a manual credit! Secondly, how has it become my problem to try and get my refund back from TFG? This is my first time purchasing online with TFG and what a terrible experience! When I asked this girl to see what store had the sneaker, she mentioned a store in Durban, BUT "you will have to call them yourself and ask them if they will send it to another store for you because we don't do that at online". What do you do at online? Make customers online shopping experience miserable? Online should change their name to "online selfservice" or "online no-service".
Professional incompetence at it's best. No customer service whatsoever.
Now, for the "million dollar" question...how can I get a refund and by when?

I have been struggling the last 8 days for customer service to help me. I have used almost R200 of airtime.. WASTED because no one can help me. The answers I've been given is please hold or call back tomorrow. I am getting smses about me not paying my account. I have paid my account twice and it is still not showing. I have send you proof of payments and now I am still getting threats about me not paying my account. If someone just starts doing there work and help me like customer service is suppose to everything will be already sorted out.
