I received an invoice in the amount of $98.12 for unpaid tolls. Included in that amount was $90.00 in "Administrative Fees" It was never explained to me that if I did not get a Sun Pass, I would will be charged a $15.00 fee each time I passed through a toll booth! The counter person DID make sure to talk to me about the need to get insurance, which I did, only to find out from my insurance company that I was covered under my auto policy!
I feel I was DECEIVED TWICE by this company!

Completely ripped off!
I pre-paid for a reservation for my husband to pick up a car at SeaTac airport. He is there for a funeral, and is clearly very upset. Even though I pre-paid for the reservation, they convinced him to get an upgrade, and now I’m getting charged an additional $353. This rental is for one day! So I already paid $85 for a rental car. Now I’m getting charged an additional $353. This rental is for ONE DAY and costs me over $400! Customer service number was no help!

I received a bill today from Fox rent a car for $101.02. They charged me $15 times times eight administrative fees for tolls. The tolls were from 1:18 to 145. I was never told anything about this never heard of this before. I’ve also never rented a car, but this is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard of. I certainly can’t afford to pay that on top of the price of the car. I would happily pay Florida for their Sunpass, but not Fox they scammed me.

On top of that Fox charged $90 in Admin fees - never offering a toll pass, an explanation upon rental, nor return. 3x the cost of the tolls in Fees - usurious. After filing a complaint in here over having a rental vehicle with a cockroach infestation and having to throw away expensive luggage and buy new luggage, fox rental commented and told me to contact the customer service email.. I emailed them and never heard back. Seems like the company comments on here but doesn’t actually want to resolve issues.

I just rented a mini van from the orlaando airport location just outside of MCO on 5/4/23. We rented the van in the morning and drive straight to disneyworld. Later that evening we went to dinner and after dinner when we returned to the van, cockroaches were inside the van and scattered everywhere and hid. We quickly removed our stuff and tore everything apart and found bug in our car seat and had to completely take it apart to remove all the bugs. My family ubered back to the resort and I stood in dark parking lot for 2 hours waiting on a replacement. When we returned home, we took everything into the garage before the house and found more bugs in a suitcase. We put all the contents into the dryer and disposed of the suitcase. The suitcase was a $200 recently purchased suitcase that we lost. I also asked for prepaid gas and initially paid $65.16 for gas. But when I returned the second van, I was charged $149 for gas. When I called, I was only offered $50 and. $42 credit towards a future rental. When I asked to speak to a manager, Belle told me no one was available and no one would be available all day. Horrible customer service and policies! Honestly ruined our entire vacation!
Desired outcome: Would like to be compensated for money lost.

Rental car
I rented a car through Expedia from Fox for a price of $360 US. I purchased the insurance online through Expedia for an additional $78 US.
When I got to the Fox counter in Cancun to pick up my car, they coerced me into buying additional insurance. I told them I already had insurance through Expedia, and I even brought a copy of the policy with me for proof.
The people at Fox said that without the insurance through them, they would have to charge my Credit Card a $20,000 US deposit, or else I could not rent the car through them. They should me their 3 packages, the most basic one costing $363.32, thus doubling my car rental fee.
This is extortion to not only wait until the customer arrives to tell them this, but to also insist on such an exorbitant deposit.
Desired outcome: Reimbursement for the $363.32 for the unnecessary insurance.

Rental service
On July 21st, 2022 I reserved a car from Wisecars.com, phone number is [protected]. My reservation number is [protected]. The reservation was to pick up the car from 8/27/2022-9/05/2022 from Fox Rent A Car. The agreement was to pay $296.45 immediately to Wisecars.com for them booking the reservation, and then pay $181.72 when I arrive at Fox Rent A Car. I was not suppose to pay anymore unless I choose to add any options when I signed the agreement. The only thing I agreed to add to the agreement was to pay for prepaid fuel when returning the vehicle. I declined all extra insurance, as I have insurance with Capital One when renting a car with your credit card.
After we returned the car in Fort Myers Florida, we returned home. Later I got the bill showing that I owed them $911.41. They changed the rental agreement and said that I rented the car from 8/27/2022 and that I was suppose to have returned the car on 9/03/2022. They charged me for two extra days of renting the car to 9/05/2022, late fees, and they added that I owed them for rental insurance.
I was able to get them to refund me the insurance money for $169.19 on 9/20/2022. They also waived the late fee of $58.58 on 9/16/2022 back to my Capital One card. They have refused to refund me anymore money and quit talking with me, since I told them I was going to dispute the charges.
So for the original amount billed to me of $911.41 they refunded me $169.19 and $58.58 bringing the total down to $683.64. Of that amount the only amount I agreed to pay to them per my agreement with Wisecars.com was $181.72 bringing that total to $501.92. I also agreed to pay for the fuel, which cost $56.61. That brings that total to $445.31.
$445.31 is the amount that they owe me back. I clearly had the car rented from 8/27/2022 all the way through 9/05/2022. I should not have to pay any extra fees because someone at Fox Rent A Car made changes to the agreement and shortened it to 09/03/2022.
I am so frustrated with this whole situation I really want to dispute the entire amount of $911.41 I paid to Fox Rent A Car. And I am extremely upset with the lack of customer service at Wisecars.com on helping me with this matter and should dispute even paying them $296.45. They did not hold up their end of the deal either. I have spent a lot of time trying to get both companies to refund me my money, but everytime I call to talk to someone I get customer service reps from both companies that don't speak clear english and do not understand me. Even the emails I get from them our from reps from out of the country with broken english. One of the representatives from Fox Rent A Car even called me a liar when I told her that I had the car rented from 8/27/2022 until 09/05/2022 and hung up on me.
I have included the rental agreement from Wisecars.com along with the reciepts I got from Fox Rent A Car.
Please help me get my money back from both these companies as they did not honor the rental agreement for the car I rented from them

I did not have more than 1 reservation. I had 1 reservation made. Why would I make 2 reservations and choose the reservation that would charge me more money. Your premise does not make sense. I had one reservation made through Wisecars. I handed that reservation to your customer service representative. I have no clue what she inputted into her computer. She obviously choose a different reservation then the one I handed her. You should honor the reservation that I gave to your customer representative and apologize for all the agony, stress, sleepless nights I have lost over worrying about the money owed back to me.
I had to wait in line that day for over 2 hours when I rented the car from your Orlando office. I had prepaid dinner reservations at magic show that I missed because your company could not get me in and out efficiently like other car rental companies. I lost almost $300 on that dinner show because of your company.
In conclusion, I had 1 reservation made. Even if there was a slight chance I had 2 reservations, I would never choose the one that charged me more money. That just makes no sense at all. I want a complete 100% full refund of $911.41 for all my time, energy, stress that you have caused me. If I do not receive this I will be forced to keep escalating this. I will also start asking for you to refund me the $300 that I lost on my dinner show.
Rental agreement misrepresented
I rented a car through Expedia from the Salt Lake City location in February for one day. The quotes amount through Expedia was $102. I picked up the car at 1:45 pm on a Friday. I alerted the person that I would not be able to return the car until 5pm the next day. She said she would make a note on my account and did not mention any additional charges would apply. Asked if I would like prepaid gas. I said yes as I would be cutting it close returning and would only be driving a few miles I was then charged $8.99 for gas that I supposedly was supposed to have prepaid for. I also declined the additional insurance. And was billed for that. She said she could credit my fox account for this. When I got my final receipt it was $386. The person in billing said I agreeed to all of these things which I did not. And there was no way to call the retail location to speak with a manger or employee. She could refund me $32 for the late fee. So overall a $100 rental cost me $350. This place is a ripoff and I would never use again.
Desired outcome: Refund for gas charge and extra day of rental.

Loss Damage Waiver
On October 27 I rented a car from the Fox rent a car in Orlando Florida. When I reserved it I indicated I wanted no added insurance including the Loss Damaged Waiver. When I reviewed my receipt (from NADAR) the "Loss Damage Waiver " was added. I contacted customer service and spoke to Paula. She took down all my information, repeated it back to me that I did not want this LDW and I wanted a refund. She told me she would note this but I had to return to the actual location and have them remove it. When i RETURNED TO THE LOCATION THEY REFUSED TO REMOVE THE LDW. I will be calling customer service again today.

Rental car
Do not rent from them . No customer service. We rented a Mitsubishi and the catalytic converter was stolen from the hotel. That being said I filed a claim with ins and then they promised to car a new car brought to us in the morning by 9am. I told them it had to be there by 9 we were meeting family at 10. He assured me it would be there his name is Mathew from roadside. Three times I asked him if he was sure and he said for sure will be there. So we had to Uber . Car did not get there until 2pm. Tow truck guy said never rent from this company he tows 25 of there cars a week because of this problem. Also vehicles are older and have over 75000 miles and they rent Mitsubishi veh wich are the easiest to get catalytic converter. When I dropped car off they would not pay for the Uber said I had to call roadside because they are the ones who said veh would be there not him. Hear I thought they were one company but all they do is pass blame. Well roadside would not help either they said to bad not there fault. They take no responsibility for anything. Now we have to pay our 500 ded and 100 in Uber charged because they did not bring my car in time. Never rent from this company.
