Freelancer didn't pay my payment
I register in freelancer. And I applied data entry jobs. One lady call me.+91 98119 23109 this is her number. That company name is digital data jobs. She said they give me a project and I need to pay 600 Rs security amount. And send that screenshot. I paid and send that screen shot.
Then she send me a project (that project Id is 00912568) at June 18 2021. She said that project 50pages in 6days in 80℅ accuracy. Then I would completed my project and send to that mail I'd in 24 June 2021.
And I said her. She said wait for 24hours. Then 25 June she said your salary is 19000 so you would pay 18℅ tax that is (3528). Because your payment credit in your account from international bank.
Then I paid and send that screen shot to her. Then she mailed me 27 June need to pay processing fee (2775) for payment. I paid that amount also. Then mailed need to pay IMT charge (3101). I paid that amount too.
Then I asked her to my salary she said wait. And 29 Jun mailed me to pay foreign conversation fee (4490). I said I didn't pay. You didn't pay my salary only asking to me to pay money.. She said this the payment procedure. You complete your procedure and get your payment. Otherwise I cancel your payment and you paid amount to. So only I paid that amount. Then I asked my payment she said your payment was stucked we are working for that please wait.
Then Jul 1 she mailed me to pay (3880) bank transaction fee. You get you all paid amount to. This is the last l
Payment you no need pay any amount for your next project. So I paid and now she didn't reply me. And my salary still now 16 thJul didn't credit.
Totally fraud please take an action I want my money. I brought amount from my friends to paid her. They also pressure me.

I had communication with their support so many times, they only have lame excuses for keeping my money with them.

Freelancer is a totally unethical company.
Freelancer verified a client and debited my account with $25, which they are refusing to refund.
I am a Freelance writer not an employer. Freelancer verified that the client Jayanta P is a client and is looking for a freelancer.
I accepted the client's project, only to find out after I contacted Freelancer that Jayanta P is not a client, but another Freelancer looking for work.
Despite numerous emails to Freelancer and dealing with 5 different people the issue is still not resolved.
In addition, they are now accusing me of communicating offsite with Jayanta P, which I under no circumstances did.
Please would you be so kind as to assist.

I want to tell a sad story about my freelance work. I have been working on this site for 4 years, my account was AlexFaster. I made thousands of dollars for this site, my rating was 5 out of 5, all the reviews were only positive. Imagine my surprise when I could not log into my account! It turns out my account was closed silently, without any explanation! At that time, the account had 128 USD. I tried to contact support through support@freelancer.com and through account-interview@freelancer.com. Only automatic messages came in response:

Account been suspended along with my Milestone payment
I've opened an account last week and has submitted all the required documents. But initially I gave my wife's account as a funding source to create a Milestone payment instead of my own funding source.
The Milestone amount also been deducted from my wife's account.
During identify verification process they asked me "To clarify the ownership of the card" and I replied that is was my wife's card but they rejected it by saying it was not your own funding source. So after that I had updated my own debit card and aunthenticate it.
After authenticating, again I tried to verify my identity but it still asked me to clarify the ownership of my wife's card.
I have no idea about what clarification they required from even though the funding source has changes with my own name.
Anyhow I submitted for review but they finally suspended my account.
Really I don't know why they suspended my account even thought I did used my own funding source.
Also I don't know about the Milestone amount which held up by Freelancer.com.

Took my pictures my ID, my home address and SUSPENDED my account with at least $650 USD in it.
Long story short, I have been using freelancer for a while now. I have informed my teammate to use it to use it for his projects. I have never even paid it a thought.
A few days ago I came to release a milestone for one of the freelancers for a project I am working on. Only to realize that they want me to verify my account. So I did so, by doing taking pictures of myself, my ID, my address. Within the verification form they kept on insisting that I own his account (which I realized by knowing his first name and the company name). I kept on telling them multiple times that this is not my account. Owned by two different people.
They took all my details and suspended my account. Now I am worried about my safety first and my money. If they took my money and didnt give me any direction should I trust them with my safety, my ID, my address they have almost everything.
I have emailed them multiple times with no answer. My username is develop2020.
I am seriously worried about my safety and hard-earned money (OVER $650 USD).

I would like to share my experience. On February 18, 2020 I completed a $560 project and my client released my earnings. I successfully completed the identity verification steps stipulated by freelancer.com to withdraw the money and I was informed the verification had been successful.
At that time, I hadn't provided any payment info to which the money should be transferred to. When I logged in at night, freelancer.com blocked my account for no evident reason. Then I filed a reopening claim on (https://www.freelancer.com/support/Profile/can-i-reopen-my-closed-account?w=f&ngsw-bypass=), yet they did not get back to me. I sent them an e-mail to (support at freelancer.com) requesting to review my case and reopen my account. It didn't take long before I received the following reply stating that: because I violated their terms (no explanation about what specific), they had closed my account. Yeah, they didn't mention what terms were violated, whether the account could be recovered, and it seems they that intend to keep the money I earned.
Then I asked my client to help me communicate with them, but their customer service lied to my client: saying that the money I earned was actually given to me before closing the account. (This is horrible... Freelancer actually kept the money! Yet their support team blatantly fabricated that the money had been paid to me upon termination)
I continued to check on the Internet and found that many freelancers using the platform had their accounts closed and Freelancer just keeps the money. How can this be legal? They don't refund the buyers, or give the money to the sellers, they just fill their pockets with the money!
So, what should I do?
In the evening, I continued to email them [protected]@freelancer.com and submitted my complaint on the website. I continued to email their support to recover my funds, only to receive their typical automated reply: We understand your concerns + email template.
Their strategy is to continue stalling until you give up and they get to keep your money.

Google is there interbank exchange rate is easy to know. but every time very very bad interbank exchange rate from freelancer.com.

In december I had posted a project in freelancer.com and they had some great freelancers available. After I had decided on a freelancer and awarded the project we are required to make a milestone payment.
Everything was going good, until one day i tried to login to disburse my payment to freelancer as they had completed one part of the project. My account has been suspended without any valid reason and it has around $800 plus paid for the project i posted.
This payment is yet to be released to the freelancer i engaged so both of us are affected by this. It is stuck in my freelancer account which i believe is the reason freelancer froze my account to take the payment

I spend around $80 and try to withdraw the remaining funds. I get my account limited lol - because of security issues.
The problem? My team member from India is accessing my account.
The admin support tells me:
Being with a Corporate account doesn't entitle you to share your logins with your team members. Note that only one person should access the account and under no circumstance should the logins ever be shared. Login credentials should not be shared to other users as this is for your own safety and security.
I point out that I was advised team members could access the account. And the entire point of a media agency corporate account is that people in the agency can access it. I ask them where the ToS mentions Freelancer Corporate account holders cannot have team members accessing it.
Then, I am met with further falsehoods. Stating:
"Be advised that we do not recommend sharing login details even if it's a corporate account. This is strictly due to security reasons. However, every time there's a login discrepancy on your account, it will really be limited for clarification. "
And to rub it in, ends with : If you do not want to comply with our policy, just let us know so we can suspend your account.
What policy? I don't see a policy - your own customer support advised that Corporate Accounts can be accessed by team members. It's just a circus going on, and the intent to take away the money.
Hindsight: Upwork does this a lot better by having each team member in an agency have a separate account. Freelancer.com doesn't just mess it up, but is really arrogant as well - and a scam to add.

I'm Denys Davydov.
Unfortunately my account was closed a week ago. I requested my first withdrawal in 23 Dec. and they are shown it will be processed 4 Jan to 5 Jan.
But it was still in the pending status in 11 Jan. I said to live interview to Elvira T. and she accepted my concern. But just next morning my account was closed.
I am still not sure what I've done since the site doesn't seem to answer to the complaints, or give out any warnings for that matter
