GameStop poor customer service

My name is Susan Dreiling and I live in Deerfield Kansas. I am a Gamestop Pro Reward member and have been for some time. My husband and my boys went to the Game Stop at the Garden City location tonight. They said when they got there that the employee was visiting with two people. My son had located the game that he wanted to get and the employee told the two people he was talking with that he was going to to back and get their console. When they came back they continued talking. My husband stated that they waited in line for at least 20 minutes without being acknowledged and they gave up and left. My boys are avid Xbox One players and we have given the Garden City location a lot of business so we are very disappointed in this service.

GameStop rotita return department

I am reporting this company since instead of filing a return for the two purchased items from Rotita Website, they remotely got into my computer, got access to my PayPal and Yahoo accounts and God knows what else and made unauthorized purchases !

GameStop Poor Customer Service

Gamestop decided to cancel my order without attempting to contact me. When I told them I didn't authorize this they told me I would have to place the order online again. The items are not available. They told me I was just out of luck. Very terrible customer experience. I attempted to contact Gamestop and they refused to address or fix the issue. I have contacted them a few different times and there has been no response.

GameStop cashier misgendered me!

I was trying to return a game and get a refund and the cashier refused to give me my money back. He kept on calling me sir when it's obvious that I'm not. Dude, really? Do you not own or have access to a mirror? You really should be ashamed of yourself for the display you put on for the whole world. Seriously, is this a goof or who knows, the world's most masterful troll? How you think you are going to prance around looking and dressing the way you were and expect respect and acceptance looking and acting the way you did. In actuality you just single handedly set back the transgender community by about 50 years. Are you really not aware that you have achieved instant immortality and a cultural meme the likes that have never been seen. But seriously, really, have you not taken not of your internet superstardom? Please honestly, just between us, this is a major goof right, just a beyond brilliant troll? GameStop discrimination

I was in the Idaho Falls Gamestop in the mail when a women immigrant hispanic with 3 teenage kids went to buy a game that was M. The lady looked about 40 or 50. The female employee told the lady that she could not get the game without a valid photo id. I have been to Gamestop 100 times and have never been asked for a photo Idea. I am not sure if she did this because she was a lady, a hispanic, and immigrant, or because she had kids but I was offended and embarrassed. I don't even know how the lady must have felt. It happened Jan 19 around noon.

This guy named ed is a complete jerk to me and my family everytime we come in. He abuses us and refuses to take any of our trades. And when he does he complains and trys to guilt us by saying we abuse the system. He is rude and just not a nice person. I missed out on a very good psvr deal because he wouldnt take my trade. Other stores will take the trades just fine. Not him.

GameStop xbox 1

I bought three for Xmas gifts, and one of them won't work. Took it back and was told that I need to pay v$50 more dollars for a warranty. All's. I want is for them to exchange it for another one. I paid 200 rack and bought 3 . either I get this taken care of as it's a gift to my gtandaughter, or I'm going to move to talk with better business burea and won't recommend anyone to you. I didn't waste that much for them not to be able to play it. You r choice

I purchased 3 Xbox ones and one v wouldn't work. Took it back and was told I needed to buy a $50 warranty package. I just wanted it replaced. I've already spent c well over 1000.00 at game stop and will not tolerate this service. Was a Christmas gift for my granddaughter and I v either want it replaced or my money back your choice before further action is taken.

GameStop buying a game from gamestop online store

Wanted to order game online because i had a coupon that was for online only. Couldn't get it to work for over an hour. Finally called Customer Service, who was able to do for me with a little trouble of their own. Took my info and said 1 day to process and 4 to 7 shipping. That was 12-12-18.
I waited and waited checking tracking, no updates. Finally on 12-26-18, 2 full weeks later, i see tracking updated saying post office tried to deliver on 12-17-18. The address was insufficient and it was returned to sender.
Now im angry. When i ordered, the guy i spoke to repeated my address as i told him, and had it correct. Somebody entered it wrong, leaving out part. So i should have had 9 days earlier, and tbe game is in Texas on its way back or whatever.
So i call customer service. They say they're sending a new copy with fixed address. It will take ANOTHER 3-5 days.
I ask for some kind of compensation. Ive been a patron of my local Gamestop since they opened over 10 years ago. I've been a Pro member since start, and Elite Pro while that lasted. I have nearly 1 million points from purchases lifetime. I've spent thousands upon thousands of dollars here.
The girl i spoke with put me on hold to try and get approval to email me a coupon of some amount to use at my store. I was disconnected, so i call back and get someone else. I explain everything to her and she just outright says no compensation. I ask to speak to a supervisor. She wont let me and says even supervisor cant help me.
Now, after the customer I've been, and the fact that by the time i receive my game, i will have waited 17 to 19 days since ordering and 12 to 14 since i should have had it but the address was wrong, maybe longer with new years coming, and ALL OF THIS IS THE FAULT OF A GAMESTOP EMPLOYEE, NOT ME, i would think this company I've been incredibly loyal to could shoot me a $10 to $20 dollar freaking coupon in an email, that i can use at my local store.
That would be decent customer service.
I have defended this company, and bought here when it would have been cheaper to buy from Amazon. I spread great word of mouth and have for over a decade. Back even when it was EB Games or Babbages.

If you cant give me some sort of compensation, i will take my business elsewhere. I will never spend another dollar at Gamestop. I will spread bad word of mouth and convince people to stay away from Gamestop right up until your bankruptcy or buyout.
This is not how you treat customer s when you're losing millions every quarter.
Please fix this problem. I have never complained before, but this just really angered me. The game was Call of Duty 4.

GameStop playstation vr - charged an extra $100.00 at checkout

In the last few days I purchased a playstion vr from gamestop. On the box was a 3"x4" label that said $199.00.in the checkout it rang up at $299.00 I immediately questioned the amount and was told that it was the price while they were on sale but they are not on sale anymore.
Since this happened I have discovered target, best buy, and walmart all have the same unit priced at $199.00. Gamestop screwed me at xmas shame on them. I will be returning the unopened unused unit and getting my $ back, I strongly doubt I will ever shop there again. Also I took pictures of the box I will be complaining loudly everywhere. Shame on you gamestop! Now I have to waste several hours of my time to return this and go get another one.

GameStop digital copy purchased/clerk did not tell me digital could not be returned

I went to Gamestop in Goldsboro, NC Weds. 12-5-18. They did not have an actual copy of the two games I wanted. The clerk said they would be hard to find as they came out earlier this year. So I bought two digital with codes. Nothing was explained to me that these could not be returned. I spoke with my sister that evening and she told me my nephew would not be happy with just a code. He suffers with OCD, Tourettes. This means when things are not as he is used to, he gets very upset. I returned to Gamestop Thurs. 12-6-18 and was then informed that they were not refundable. I planned to get the actual games through Gamestop on-line. I am very upset. I have purchased 2 PS, 2 X Box, 3 DS, and a multitude of games, most, when available, are Gold or Ultimate Editions. I will no longer buy from Gamestop. I should have been informed of the conditions with digital code copies. I also felt as though the clerk was irritated with helping me.

GameStop online order

I placed an online order on Thanksgiving that I haven't received. Every time I have called, I have had to wait 1-4 hours to speak with a live person. I was lied to on the 29th and told that I would receive my order on the 30th. Then, I was told by a supervisor on the 2nd, that I would have my order by the 4th. UPS is not showing they have received my order...it has never left the warehouse. No one has attempted to resolve my issue. It's been 2 weeks and I still don't have my order, but they have my money.

I think they are scamming all black Friday deals. I also ordered and received confirmation. They never sent my item and now I received an email saying that either I cancelled it or my credit card did (which I verified, they did not) and they want me to reorder it...obviously no longer at the black Friday prices. I can't get anyone on the phone either...sounds like the FTC needs to get involved with the bait and switch activity going on.

GameStop customer service

I have had the worst possible experience with Gamestop Customer service. I placed an order during black Friday. The order was then canceled a week later without me being notified. I then was refused the promotional price when I called to re order since it was canceled. I've spent a total of 10 hours or more on hold trying to see why my order was canceled. I've also sent 2 emails with no response.
I ordered an Xbox one S Battlefiled 5 deluxe bundle for 229$ that came with a free 50$ gift card. I also ordered Red Dead Redemption 2 for 59$. My order number was [protected]. Afted countless hours on hold I was able to get approved to re order the same order I place that was canceled and recieve the bundle for 229$ but no gift card. I was ok with that but still furious I wasnt receiving the gift card. I spoke with a lady who was very nice. The only one I must add. She was able to send a review to her supervisor and I was finally approved to re order and get the Xbox at the 229$ for my troubles. She said to call back after I placed my order and they will be able to modify my order to ensure I got the promotional price. I spent 3 more hours on hold only to be told I cannot get the discount and nobody could explain why. The lady who approved it said all I had to provide was my billing phone number .it didnt work and I am very angry. If this doesnt get resolved I will no longer shop at gamestop as I have always shopped here for any gaming need for my son and I. This product was supposed to be here for my sons birthday and now he is upset because it didnt come. I'm very disappointed I understand your busy but something has to be done.

Good afternoon

My name is Malcolm Richardson. I own Beat That Guy Gaming (BTGG), the only traveling indoor/outdoor eSports/gaming company in Alabama. We are looking to get some information about sponsorship, affiliation, or support for our local gaming communities. BTGG has had great success in working with your stores in the past 2 1/2 years. It has been mutually beneficial for GameStop and BTGG (examples: Birmingham Bowl, Vulcan Birthday Bash, etc.). Store managers and associates in District 807 are very pleased with the stores' performance on the days we hold events. On these days, the stores see an increase in foot traffic as well as sales increase. It also gives the GameStop motto "Power to the Players" meaning.

We have been working together now for one year to make sure our performance is our best and with little to no compensation. Numbers don't lie, but 807's District Manager, Andy Harper, has not been honest with us. Mr. Harper has given BTGG verbal promises during this time of passing our information up to his supervisors to get BTGG into more stores. BTGG was also promised by Mr. Harper connections with outside entities so that we may begin invoicing people for our services when we do joint events with GameStop. We are a gaming company coming to our local stores, helping bring in business and boosting sales on release dates. We have done these events for free with the promise of future pay outside of GameStop. BTGG has recently been told by Mr. Harper that we are no longer allowed to work with the local stores. This severance is due to an event coming up at the University of Alabama where I asked for contact information to send an invoice to so that BTGG would receive payment. I was told by Mr. Harper that I was angry in asking for this information and that he never promised BTGG contacts for payment. BTGG asks that we are allowed to continue working with the stores. BTGG also asks, if contracted to help with an event, that we receive payment for said event.

We are not trying to bill GameStop for our services.

Went to the store trying to return 2 unopened games...while in there manager comes from the back and says I always return there and ask where I got it from take it back there cause it mess up there sales...so the lady employee start giving me problems and they state I can't do it at the store. GameStop ordering a digital copy and being told the console did not have one.

My son ordered a digital copy of Ones Justice for the Xbox One from Gamestop. After going to Gamestop to get the code the lady behind the counter informs us that the Xbox One did not come with a digital copy only PlayStation 4. I was a little confused since they sold him a digital copy for the Xbox One but being as he is 13 he was excited and wanted the game he took what they had. She gave him the physical copy but later he realized he didn't get the extra character he had paid for Endeavor. My question is why would you sell a person something then tell them you only have it for the opposite console. Now my son has an open game he can't return and probably a game that's worth less than what he paid for. I guess we can chalk this one up to a lesson learned. Do not order anything from GameStop! Also on a side note its funny I can go on in the Microsoft store and buy a digital copy for the Xbox One which is exactly what my son will do from now on. He hates GameStop now.
