I was wondering why Gyan's line was moving so slow. Once it got closer to my turn I saw why. Part of the cashier's job is to bag the groceries. The customers in front of me brought their own bags as did I. The bags were there for Gyan to use. Gyan rang up the groceries and pushed them behind himself and made no effort to bag the groceries as he went, causing the long backup in his lane. The customers in front of me were as appalled as I was to realize he had no intention of bagging the groceries. Gyan simply turned and gave them the total. Because he couldn't be bothered to do his job correctly the customers were forced to bag their own groceries causing the backup. Gyan ignored the situation made no attempt to correct it and moved on to the next customer where this same ridiculous behavior continued.
He is a terrible cashier. Gyan needs to repeat cashier training.
Lack of products
Rebel ice cream is key to KETO. Giant has the same 3 lousy flavors for 4 years now. All the enlightened products are awful. How do we get better choices? Have to go to Safeway and Sniders now. Your website wants more words so I will just typrfffffffffffffff fffffff ffffffff ffffff
Desired outcome: More flavors especially at giant in Aspen Hill. I have tried going to many other giants. All have the same crappy 3 flavors
The pharmacy customer service
I went to store #748 on date 02/19/22 At 3:10pm to the pharmacy to pick up my medication. The pharmacist I met was Imogene Wilson. Her customer service was very low, she wasn't treating me right, she had attitude, also never gave me my medicine on time. She told me to come back after 20 minuets. when I got there by time, she told me to my medicine was not ready so I had to returned back after another 20 minuets. She was making me to retune 3 or 4 times. Then she told me to come back on the next day without explaining the reason why she is not giving me the medicine. When I ask her questions she did not replied any thing and also when I go back on the next day, she same thing happened after she made me to return back 3 times, she told me to come back the next day with out explaining the reason. I was Giants customer since 2016 I am very disappointed by their customer service.

To whom it may concern, I am a driver for PGCPS and was on my way to pick up my student, on Wednesday morning at about 9am. Your driver who drove truck 8438 pulled up to do a delivery on 63rd Ave in Berwyn Heights. As I proceeded he saw me coming and completely ignored the fact that I was trying to get pass him, He had lots of room to pull along side the road in front of the customers house. Instead he deliberately angle his truck so I couldn’t get by. Went to the back of the truck got all the groceries he had to deliver, got out of the truck took it to the door, got back in his truck and pulled right up in from of the school bus and started blowing his horn. I suppose that was to try to intermediate me. After he saw me got on my radio to call transportation to call the police, he then decided to back up, give me the finger and pulled away.
Pharmacy
The Giant Pharmacy on E. 33rd street needs to hire more associates. They let the telephone ring for 13 minutes and then hung up without answering or they will pick up and hang up. My physician submitted my prescription on 12/9 to be filled on 12/17. On 12/21 I got an answer that it would be ready on that day. I was able to get an answer on 12/22 and was told it would be ready after 5. I've been waiting for another refill for almost 2 weeks. I transferred my prescriptions from Walmart for convenience and what I thought would be better service. With all the vaccines, telephone calls and prescription pick ups, there should be more than one associate at the front counter.
Desired outcome: Hire someone if only to answer the phone.
Pharmacy
Giant Food Pharmacy in Golden Ring, needs to be removed from the Covid vaccine program. They are hours behind, not actually trying to get things done, and keep rolling their eyes when anyone asked about time. I've been told this is normal for this place. I feel like I'm being held hostage because I need this booster for work, and I can't reschedule in time.
Desired outcome: Hire people who care about their jobs and other people.

I was getting ready to scan my purchases at self check out an employee (Black woman with glasses) walked over to me & started scanning my stuff. Asking why - she stated I had walked OUT a couple weeks ago without paying. She said she had seen it on a store video.
I WAS STUNNED. - Get store to show the video. She kept saying Have a nice day.? WTF? // The man behind cust serv, after hearing her story, said the same thing.
I complained to on duty Manager - same response. — I said show me the video & if I did - I'm more than happy to PAY. //
I also said once I remember scanning my groceries - going to my truck & relizing I had NOT paid for water on the bottom of the cart - I IMMEDIATELY went back into the store & paid for it. //
I said to on duty Manager I don't appreciate being called a THIEF when I am not. / She looked at me and said "Have a nice Day"

On Monday, October 4, 2021, about 10:53 A.M., I contacted the Giant Pharmacy automated call services @ [protected], store # 315 @ 7546 Annapolis Rd, Lanham, MD 20784 for prescription refills of three (3) medications. One of which was filled. The other two (2) delayed yet to be filled because it required authorization of my physician/also Dr. Elliott Aleskow @ 19th & L Street, NW, Washington DC authorization to be refilled. In which your automated services described and stated that my Dr. would be contacted. However since refill of the one (1) prescription, I've waited patiently until today, Friday, 10/8/2021 around 12:00 Noon to consult my physician's office directly to inquire why's there a delay or had the aforementioned Giant Pharmacy even bothered to contact my doctor, Dr. Aleskow for refills. According to Kim of Dr. Aleskow's office, she check status in their records/or files and no one, meaning aforesaid Giant Pharmacy had not faxed nor contact them for any refills. In other words, Kim stated no form were ever received requesting any refills of my medications by/from this Giant Pharmacy. This is a highly critical situation/medication needed for my High Blood Pressure. And, I would expect something of this critical nature would be handled most crucial by the Giant Pharmacy. However as of today, Friday, 10/8/2021 @ 235 PM still no word from the aforementioned Giant Pharmacy regarding supplemental refills of my 2 missing medications requiring refills by the Giant agency. I suspect they're either neglected to fill order or just plained ignored. And, since I've had numerous incidents concerning my lack of communication and also completions of my medications in the past, I do plan to take further action with the proper authority and medical association concerning this Giant Pharmacy.
I'm asking all of the appropriate @ the Giant Corporation to please take action and ensure that my 2 missing prescriptions 1)10mg Amlodipine/50mg Metoprolol are refilled by this Giant Pharmacy @ 7546 Annapolis Rd, Lanham, MD 20784 as promptly as possible. Thank you. Because just as I have informed my Doctor's office, Dr. Aleskow that I am almost depleted of such critical substance for the well-being of my health. Terrible front desk management.
I am an employee of store 366, and ever since we lost our previos manager and assistant manager, our department has been a nightmare. The new manager is lazy, petty and vengeful. He sits in the office, on his phone the entire time, checking his emails. When a cashier rings the bell, he never steps up until AFTER the second ring. We are over worked and under-staffed. At the front desk, he barely helps the associates working up there. The associate is ususally left alone to manage his customers and has to watch self-checkout, and answer when we ring. He also has no respect for the availability of students; he often schedule students when they are in class. He forces cashiers to stay longer than they can, and also punishes them by taking away practically all of their remaining hours, if they don't do as he pleases. Get rid of him. Mokbul is a terrible manager. He does no work, but likes to impose terrible and ridiculous rules on us. Just the other day, he told a new cashier that, checking out a family member (i. e husband, brother, mother) is prohibited. Never have I hear such a thing. He scolded another cashier for temporarely rolling up her sleeves when it was over 90° outside. This girl doesn't even drive, so she walks to work in black (which absorbes sunlight). You could see the frustration on her face. He is a terrible manage. I don't even know how he got this job, but anyway.

The illegal price of giant fugi 3lb bag of apples and I was humiliated and embarrassed by an assistant manager
For 2 months I complained and rightfully so that Giant in Nazareth, Pa was falsely charging the same price for their 3lb bag of Fugi apples as their 5lb bag of apples. The price rang up at the register as $4.99 for both the 3lb bag and the 5lb bag of Giant Fugi apples. Even though the 3lb bag of Giant Fugi apples had a price tag of $3.29 displayed. I complained to store management and corporate management and nothing was done! Plus, this assistant manager named Vince humiliated and embarrassed me in front of the produce workers and the price checker woman because he made fun of me knowing that I am handicapped and disabled and I receive food stamps.(I've been on Social Security Disability for 10 years.) I reported the complaint to corporate and received a very snippy and arrogant customer service agent who said I would be contacted by someone in regards to my complaint. That was a total lie. I was never contacted. As a result, I will never step foot in Giant again and I even pulled my prescriptions out of their pharmacy and went to another Pharmacy. Giant Foods treated me in an incompetent, unprofessional, nasty, I don't care kind of way and I was humiliated and embarrassed in front of the produce workers, the price checker, and the surrounding customers in the vicinity where I was disrespected, embarrassed, and humiliated by assistant manager Vince. Giant is a farce, a fraud, a liar, and a do nothing company in my opinion and I will never step foot in that particular store in Nazareth, Pa again. They've lost thousands of dollars a year of my grocery and pharmaceutical business. Giant doesn't care! Either do I. There are plenty other grocery stores and pharmacies around and they will now get my business.

The pharmacy told me ten minutes to wait to fill a RX and i had ice cream and steaks as well as other cold food . So i decided to wait the 10 minutes .
Well 30 minutes later still nothing .
I put all the melted food back and steaks . They finally got my wife's RX done .
I don't want to be told 10 minutes and wait 30 minutes . This is not the first time . They messed up my son's medicine giving him the wrong dosage of meds .

I am attempting to place many orders for groceries for a group of interns I am teaching a cooking class to. "Michaela" in customer service is telling me that I can ONLY place one order from Giant on my account at a time. This is absurd. I need 6 more grocery orders but can only place one. Do they not want the business? Ridiculous. I have not idea who I can reach locally.
