Green Dot Card Activation

My husband purchased this card as gift card, not knowing what it was. I did not want to register it and give them my social security number plus pay their fees, so I tried putting it in my grandsons name, since they cannot ask for one from someone under 18 (I found this online as a workaround). I was allowed to register it, then was told the card would be invalid and could not be changed. I contacted customer service and was told that once registered, it could not be changed. Basically they can just keep the money. I was given a number to call, but of course, it was having technical difficulties and high volume, so try again another time. This cannot be legal!

Green Dot Account closed

Closed my account, taking maintenance fee, closed my account, canceled my debit card, won't let me link another card or transfer to another bank! I have $4828.20 and I can't transfer to another bank account or can't take out the money!

Green Dot Account blocked

My Green Dot is blocked, I can't access to my account due to my account was blocked and it on further notice review and I will be so glad if green dot can help me resolve my account working Normal and working perfectly as fast as possible..
I'm requesting for repair of the account, return of the account and pay benefits coming in on 17/12/2020.

Green Dot Green dot won't return my money

My PUA benefits were direct deposited into a wrong account. I've tried for 2 months straight, to get them to return my benefits to PUA so that PUA can cut me a check. PUA is aware of the situation and has been waiting for 4 weeks to hear from Green Dot. It is a large sum of money which was a lump sum of my benefits because I had waited so long. Now my family suffers even more because of this refusal to return my benefits. Green Dot should not have accepted it in the first place, but in any event, this added delay for no reason at all is jeopardizing my family's health and well being. Please return these funds to PUA as it is not supposed to be allowed into that cardholders account.

You took 60.00 dollars off my card with out my purmistion now I can not get my drivers license back thanks to you guys stealing money from people my friends have had the same experience with the same of card it is from I want my money back or will report to law inforcment or to the IRS you can contacted me at [protected] or I will File a report with my sergeant

Green Dot Loading my paypal cash card

I went to be to load my PayPal card and the cashier grabbed 1 of the 2 yards that I had on the counter and started loading my 60.00 dollars. After talking a little more I realized he grabbed my closed PayPal credit card instead of the correct cashcard. When I asked him to correct it he said that he could not cancel and I would have to talk to customer service. Well it has been almost 4 months and after hours on the phone trying to get this resolved I have gotten no solid idea as to when or if I will ever get my refund. Most unprofessional people I ever dealt with

Green Dot Greendot and moneypak

Moneypak sent email saying my money was loaded on greendot card 4971 which is old card in closed account greendot said they couldnt have sent it there because its closed account well my money is not on the moneypak reload so were is it greendot sais its all moneypak u look up customer service number to moneypak its greendots customer service but my missing 194.05 is still not found

Green Dot They shut my card off in 2018 taxes and now they accepted my stimulus check in that account and cast it and now it's taking money

Hi my name is Clifford and GreenDot closed my account in 2018 for my taxes it's a due to fraudulent stuff cuz I lost it card and we ordered another one and used it as soon as I got the card they shut my account which I had about 600 to 800 bucks left and now they accepted my 2020 stimulus check in that account and cast it I don't know how they can do that but now I can't get my money or nothing like that and I want my money so you got 2300 + 262 $800 and now I want getting my feet wet wiped out because you know they've been taking money out for the $7.95 for the monthly fees I want my money f****** b******

SAME HERE BUD! I've contacted the IRS and was told they bwould be sending a paper check once it gets kicked back from greendot. TRy contacting the fraud hot line and tell them there holding your money with not account in your name!

Green Dot Steals money

Around 11 am I purchased 2 green dot moneypak cards for a total amount of $380. I spend around 3 hours trying to get into the account just to add the money to the account. Once I got into the account the cards were no longer valid! So I contacted customer service about it and uploaded pictures of screenshots and receipts. After no hep there I filed a fraud claim against the company itself. I received an email hours later saying that they completed the investigation and there were no money to be recovered!?!?! These crooks stole $380 dollars from me! I am a disabled vet! please stay away from this company!

Green Dot Visa debit

Card will not registered, for hundredth time and countless hours.
Keep getting red message"INPUT PROPER CARD INFORMATION"
or something like that. I should have it memorized by now.
Purchased card Nov 18 2020 at Walmart in Jonesboro Arkansas, Highland ave store.
Walmart and Visa both refuse by to even acknowledge any culpability in this highway robbery. this is making me sick. I could have used that money when I'm sleeping under the bridge tonight

You locked my account with over $900 balance I want you to help me unlock my account because I'm a widowed and I don't work since Covid-19 issues come up... Green Dot Green dot restricted my card with money on it

I had my card two day's and can't use it cause it has a restriction on it. My card has 98.00 on it I need my money. Sent a copy of drivers license and marriage licenses via email. I have done everything that was asked of me and still nothing. Can y'all please unblock my card are hell call [protected]. I am being patient i'm am doing my best not to take further actin but if I have to I will. Please resolve this. Cheryl dawn newland. Y'all wont even mail me a card to my address cause its a po box.

Green Dot Visa card

I bought Green Dot Visa to send to daughter, expecting to add to it later. I cannot find info anywhere about how to do that. I assume I can register in
name and mail the card to her. Calling the Green Dot phone number is useless, dealing only with registered cards, and my question is who do I register it to? Perhaps I can register it to her, then use PayPal to add funds to it. It would be great if they had a human to talk to. I do not know what to do!

Green Dot Reloadable prepaid visa

I just purchased, and I cannot even read my card. The ink was smeared and I have no way of getting it refunded! I called the number yet I was unable to speak with an actual person. The Walgreens I purchased this at also refused to refund my money. So I had to pay for something I was not even able to determine was going to work beforehand😑

They basically stole my money

Green Dot Holding my money and they say my id that I sent is fake! It's not!

I have a Green Dot card through Turbo and I've been having my unemployment payments sent there with no issues. Last week I received a larger then normal amount of payment from unemployment for back pay so it was deposited on a non-normal day and for a non-normal amount. They then placed a hold on my funds. I was told that I need to send in a copy of the front and back of my DL. I tried about 50 times to upload it on the website but it kept saying that it wasn't clear enough. I was then given an email address and case number to send my ID to. I did that and then was told they had the emails (8 of them) and that my funds would be released in 2 business days. Today I call to check the status and talked to 5 different people each giving me totally different information. I finally get through to a manager at the corp office in CA who tells me that they feel my DL images that I emailed are fake and that they wont release my funds until they get an ID they are happy with. END of story on their part. They won't do anything to help me. This is the only money that I have. My house payment was due 3 days ago so now I have a $50 late fee, my daughter needs diapers and I need food in the house. They don't care about that. Won't accept any other form of ID and won't release my funds. Please someone help me! I can't stop crying. I don't know what to do.
Case number [protected]. Deposit that caused this was deposited on 10/1/2020 and the hold was placed on 10/2/2020. They say the issue is that the deposit came in as "A.L. Turner" and not the normal "Angel L. Turner"
I'm not sure what photos/videos that I can attach as this has all be through phone conversations.

Green Dot My greendot account

Don't use Greendot bank. My card number was used to buy games or movies or something through amazon. 659. dollars was stolen. I was credited 159 dollars and green dot says that the dispute for 110 is not being GRANTED. The thief was Cash ap. under multiple names. Do NOT use Green dot at all! I have the printed pages of the original theft, and I mailed that to Green dot and never got my money back (received partial funds). This is unacceptable.

I'm unable to reach customer service by phone. No phone number works to reach a live person. I tried calling the phone number on the back of the card. Also looked up online their customer service number. But can't reach a live person. Does anybody have a phone number for me? I purchased a prepaid card and I'm having trouble with it.

Green Dot Money pak

Hello again, so far I have sent you the information you requested with pictures on July 3rd, July 28th and again on August 26, September 8 and now again on September 29. You keep saying you are unable to read the information, so I will spell it out for you together with pictures.

The green dot card was purchased on June 17th at the CVS Pharmacy on 3055 Broad River Road, Columbia, South Carolina 29210 as can be seen on the receipt. It shows the card was activated but never cashed in the amount of 300.00.

It specifically shows that I purchased the card for $306.95 and it was never cashed. I am requesting that you provide me #300.00 as your card was used to perpetuate a fraud and I am now out $300.00. Due to COVID I am struggling and it is the right thing to do.

I have sent them as attachments, I have scanned them in and they are large enough to read. I would appreciate it if you would send me a check in the amount of $300.00.

I am not submitting the receipt but have a copy as I do not want to put it on this board.
