Green Dot Refund not received

I purchased a Greendot card on July 5th, I tried to activate the card they told me that it has already been activated. I was given a case number to send my receipt and for a refund. I waited 10 days and didn't receive my refund I called back and was told that my case was closed because I didn't provide the documents. I was given another case number and I still have not received my refund!

Green Dot Walmart money card

On 8/16/2023 to 8/17/2023, there were unauthorized withdrawals made from our account. I contacted Walmart money card and filed a dispute claim on all the unauthorized charges. I printed out the statement of fraud, listing all the unauthorized charges. I also emailed a signed unauthorized fraud . These charges amounted to $328. I was issued a credit for $1.06 of those charges and was told the rest was under investigation. We received new cards for our account. On 8/03/2023 I received an email stating that we were issued a provisional credit for the outstanding amount. In the mean time, on 8/04/2023, a direct deposit was deposited on the new card. When I attempted to make a purchase, however, the payment would not go through. I called walmart money card three times on 8/04/2023 to discuss the issue. I was told it "was nort locked and to try it again", "to try it again later that day", and then " it was a technical issue and to try again tomorrow ". Today, 8/05/2923, I attempted to make a purchase and it was a card failure. I called the card company today and was told that it was a technical issue and that because it was the weekend, it would not be resolved until Monday. Our account show the money is in there but we are unable to access it.

Green Dot Green Dot bank

I needed to update my address and get a new card sent after my dispute had been resolved. Well I gave them the wrong address because I had just moved. They locked my account after answering the security question with the wrong address on file.

Greendot sent me an email on July 26th requesting that I resubmit my documents because they were ineligible.

On July 31st, August 1st and August 3rd. I re submitted my I.D. card to verify my identity.

They are saying that they have not received not one of my emails. I have talked to over 20 customer service representativs on the phone and over 20 on the chat in the app.

Everytime you have to resubmit your documents, you have to wait 2 days. I have been waiting over 2 weeks now and all I keep getting is the run around.

They need to verify my identity, unlock my account and send me a new debit card. This is out of control. Never on my lifer have I experienced something like this.

I go down to the bank with my I.D. and my account is unlocked. That easy.

This bank is absolutely ridiculous. They keep giving the run around and I don't know what to do.

Can someone please help me

Desired outcome: To please verify my Identity with the documents that I have properly turned in, unlock my account, and send me a new debit card.

Green Dot Prepaid card

On January 31,2023 I purchased a card from Safeway put 80.00 on it to pay a bill and when I tried to activate it I was told the card was defective I've tried many times and no got back to me then out of the blue I received an email saying it was taken care of , I've never received anything from green dot . So I'd like my money back plus the purchase fee . I have photos of the card and my receipt

Green Dot Green Dot debit card that Walmart sold as gift card for Father's Day

Account - Gary Grimco - The original card was purchased around June 13th and mailed to my father for Father's Day. Wal-Mart said they were not carrying the regular VISA gift cards and the Greendot debit card was the same thing - with no fees. They pointed out the wording on the packaging saying no fees. I was only putting $25 on the card (I have 2 fathers to buy for). By the time my father received the card in the mail and opened it on Fathers Day on June 18th, Greendot had removed $7.95 from the card as a fee. I called Greendot and explained what I had been sold through Wal-Mart. After 20 minutes on the phone customer service removed the fee and stated that there would never be another fee. I asked whether my father needed to spend right away and he said NO and he said he put a note on the account and there would be no more fees. Meanwhile my father received another card in the mail with a chip so he didn't know what to do with the cards. He is 87 years old. I arrived at my fathers house on July 30, 2023 and he said he hadn't used the cards. We took both cards with us shopping and tried to use them and neither would work. We came home and called customer service and through recordings we found out that the card had not been authenticated to use although they had removed $7.95 fee again. We are owed the $7.95 fee that we were assured would not be removed ever again. Your overseas customer service said they will not remove because they are allowed to apply it. Please credit the account so my father can use the entire gift card value that I purchased for him. Thank You.

Desired outcome: Apply the $7.95 fee that was removed from the account before the new card was authenticated to use.

Green Dot Locked Account

I just created an account on Green Dot about a month ago on Jun 21st and I immediately set it up at my job to use for receiving my deposits. Green Dot closed the account about 3 days ago and I already have deposit on the way expected to reflect by august 2nd. How do I go about unlocking the account before that day? I've tried chatting and calling the bank customer service but they've not been helpful at all

Green Dot Copy of a cleared check

I received a refund check from an investing company that used Green Dot bank. I deposited the check on February 2023 to my bank account and it bounced as fraudulent check. I reached out to Green Dot bank and stated the fact that the check was no good. The response was that the check is valid and was cleared and no checks will be reissued. I requested a copy of a cleared check in February 2023. As of July 28, 2023 and on-going phone calls and 5 different cased created by Green Dot , I still have not received a copy of a cleared check to see if it was my signature on the back of the check.

Super frustrated, since I never got my money and I have no proof in my hands showing that whoever cashed my check was not me. And 5 months of going back and forth I have no resolution.

Desired outcome: Green Dot sending me a copy of a cleared check.

Green Dot Moneypak card reload

I have tried for three days to set up my secure moneypak card will not accept my phone number or let me set up account. I purchased moneypakcard at Dollar General on 07-20-2023 at 13:01 I have tried to contact them through email three times no response. They say will respond in one day. I want a refund 180.00. I can see why they have such a low rating.

Green Dot Green dot debit card

The Green Dot Bank/Walmart card that I have tried to use gave me a place to transfer money to a debit card before I was able to open a bank account. I then transferred money $43574.10 from an account that I since close. The money was then supposed to get deposited into Centier Bank I had recently opened.

When I tried to access my account they told me it was locked and I needed to send them my ID.. I tried several times and there’s nothing wrong with the clarity.

Green Dot Blocking and not unlocking my card, over a hotel refund back to my card

It's been 3 weeks everything I have attempted to do, upload ID 2 times, talked to over 20 to 30 different representatives as well as 3 corporate calls. This is ridicules the flagged my hotel refund back to my card and now my bills are racking up I can't feed my children, this is beyond rediluculas. Please help! I cannot believe this!

Please call me to resolve this issue.

Desired outcome: *I want my card unblocked and compensation for the termoil and bills that have piled up over the 3 weeks*

Green Dot Unauthorized charges

I had some charges made to my green dot bank Account. They were unauthorized I did not make them. I disputed this matter with green dot and was supposed to get a provisional credit after 20 working days. This never happened. All they did was put me on hold for hours ,over and over again.Now they have denied my claim with no explanation whatsoever. Charges made were 2500 plus dollars and I've received nothing back from this bank.

Desired outcome: Refund my unauthorized charges.

Green Dot Blocked/closed card and account

My Army compensation has been sent to this place for over a year. I misplaced my card, followed the directions THEY give to get money without your card by sending it to another GreenDot customer. First they restrict my friends card but within minutes of sending in documents the restriction is lifted. Then they restrict MY card with available funds still on it. They tell me it takes 2 business days to verify and remove the block, restriction and I would be notified with an update. No update, and the site and the number on the back of the card says my account is closed. They insist it's not closed but permanently blocked with my money still on it. Still no updates or notifications from them and everytime I call, the issue is escalated and will take ANOTHER 2 business days to review. They have gone far enough to say my State and Federal IDs are not valid and unreadable. This is not the type of institution that I fought and my brothers and sisters in arms died for in this country. Fix the issue that you say is for the consumers safety and give us our money!

Desired outcome: Notifications of receipt of documents and where it is in the verification process and the release of my ARMY COMPENSATION FUNDS

Green Dot Debit card

My foster daughter is 15 years old. We purchased a visa card Green Dot from Walmart. She deposited 355.00 on card [protected] valid date 12/25 119 number on back. Green Dot Walmart Money Card

On 9 June 2023, I made a bank transfer from my Walmart Money Card account, Green Dot Bank, Routing Number [protected], for the amount of $201.00 and another transfer for $250.00 on 12 June 2023 from the same bank. Both transfers were to my Chime account from The Bancorp Bank, N.A., 6100 S Old Village Pl, Sioux Falls, SD 57108, Routing Number [protected]. As of today, 27 June 2023, both Chime and The Bancorp Bank claim they have not received the transfers, but Green Dot Bank claims they have. My Walmart account has had the money deducted from my account. The first transfer was on 16 June 2023 (verification code: V1V0N-FW84B) and the second transfer was on 20 June 2023 (verification code: V1Y8K-9RGJY). I called the Walmart Money Card customer service department this morning and they claimed that both transfers were completed successfully. I then called Chime customer service and they claimed that neither transfer was showing in their system.

Desired outcome: Full refund.

Green Dot Green dot bank closed my walmart debit card with money on it, and green dot bank owes me that money!

Three weeks ago Green Dot Bank closed my Walmart debit card, and it has funds on it! Those funds were placed there to help me with my medical support, as I have a lung disease. But, since Green Dot Bank closed my account, they have DENIED ME ACCESS TO MY MEDICAL SUPPORT!

Walmart told me to contact Green Dot Bank, but Green Dot Bank has said I need to contact Walmart as they are the ones where I got the debit card.

The problem is, the card with the money has the name LYNNE GRAHAM, and I asked Walmart if I could use this card even though the name is incorrect on the card: it should be CHERYL LYNNE GRAHAM. I was assured I could use this card without problems, then I got notice that it was CLOSED before I could use it!

When I asked about the closure, and getting my money, I was told to contact Green Dot Bank, as they were the ones who closed the account! Unfortunately, all my attempts with Green Dot Bank keep routing me back to Walmart!

SOMEONE NEEDS TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR RETURNING MY MONEY TO ME! I HAVE WAITED THREE WEEKS ALREADY, AND I NEED MY MEDICAL SUPPLIES!

Green Dot Bank transfer

Submitted a bank transfer request for $100 on 6/16, it cleared my bank on 6/20, and was still pending on Green Dot's side on 6/22. I tried their chat function and had no response for 30 minutes, then called their number from their site. I was on hold for nearly an hour and was advised that they do not allow transfers from any bank but Green Dot banks to Green Dot accounts and that I would need to contact my primary bank to "see if it went through" or "get a trace number". I told them I could get that for them during the call and was getting the number for them when they disconnected the call.

Absolutely horrible customer service and shady practices. At this time, the funds transferred are still not showing on the green dot account.

Desired outcome: Either the funds returned to my primary bank account or the funds made available in the Green Dot account.

Green Dot Checking and savings

I called greendot to discuss closing both mine and my deceased husband's account back on May 21, 2021. Was told to wait until May 24, 2021 for the accounts to close. I get an email stating the accounts have been closed and that is when I cut the card up and thought it was closed. I get an email from Decemeber 2022-January 2023 stating I need to make a payment to my account. My account balance is now -$16,352.

I wondered how that happened and asked for my bank statements to be sent to me.

Turns out this company fraudulently reopened my account without my knowledge and stole $277,213.39 from my account. That is what all the fraudulent activities that this company took from my account total up to. Debits, credits, differences from my calculations compared to theirs. Some of their calculations were really far off from mine. And also my savings was wiped out and that came from my deceased husband they took that also plus debits and credits from my savings and whatever negative balances I had/have on my account now and then.

This company doesn't really thoroughly investigate claims at all. They will get your claim and either deny it or take 5 days and tell you no error has occurred. I had to file a report with the ftc, the fbi, my own pa state attorney generals office and cfpb.

Shame that this company was involved in this fraudulent activity but I am seeking to have all my money back via a check, afterI receive the check, I want the account completely closed.

Green Dot $600 green dot blocked my account and they will not refund

Greendot permanently blocked my account unbenonced to me and are now saying that the only way to get my money is by refund check is to upload documents that I've sent 3 times one of which was done with their rep on the line confirming that they were legible and he didn't see a problem in my refund check being sent now again today for the 3rd time they say they are not sending it and won't send my money to me because these documents are not legible. What they've said over and over again. They keep taking money off my balance for maintenance fees. This has been going on for over a month. With no resolution they just keep saying the same thing

Green Dot Refund check

I received a refund check from Green Dot Corporation in the amount of $3395.44. I took the check to Walmart to get it cash and they wouldn't cash it because of the amount is over their limit. Same thing with Frys and Safeway. I took the check to a regular bank and because I don't have an account with them they will not cash it. I have a prepaid debit card and they will not cash it because their limit is $2500.00. I called Green Dot and inform them that I was having problems cashing the check. I asked them to cut me two checks in the amount of $1697.72 each. The agent told me unable to do that. He said they will send me a new check with the same amount. Makes no sense. I'll be in the same situation. I really need for them to send me out two new checks so I can get my money. I really don't see any problems with the request I'm asking them to do. I even offer them I'll pay for any type fees. Just deducted it from the balance they owe me.

Desired outcome: I want them to send me two checks in the amount of $1697.72 each and send the checks by Federal Express. I will pay for the fees to have it done. I really need that money ASAP. Thank you.....Jessie Johnson

I talked to someone earlier today and was asked to call the Corporation on Monday. So I will do that and hopefully I would get this solved.
