Not showing up on time or informing riders of delay
Complaint on Greyhound:
I, Felecia Rodgers, initially, left for Texas on December 18, 2021 which I purchased a round trip ticket, although I'm complaining since the bus was so late picking us up for return trip on January 8, 2022. They could have called or emailed us to let us know that there was going to be a delay with the bus being on time so that people like me (walking on a cane and sickly) wouldn't have to stand outside in the cold and in pain waiting for 4-5 hours, then have to wait another 4 hours once we were finally able to get inside of the building.
I don't have a lot of money, but the money that I do have, I have spent it with you in order to get back in forth to see family, doctors, and lawyer. I would like a refund back, even if it's only half...although I do want the full refund for the pain and suffering that I had to endure standing outside in the freezing code waiting on the bus driver to make it to Austin. Oh, and plus had to wait overnight in Dallas, once we finally made it, since our bus was so late which made us miss the next bus I was supposed to catch to my final destination.
That, unfortunately, left me not getting back to Louisiana until January 9th, 2022 and made me miss important things that I needed to take care of Saturday January 8th. This was only supposed to be a 9-hour trip which turned out to be over 24 hours.

Poor Customer Service & Refund
The incident occurred on Sunday January 16th, 2022 at the Stroudsburg Bus Station, in Stroudsburg PA. My confirmation # is [protected], for which I bought two bus tickets. The bus was supposed to arrive in Stroudsburg PA at 12:55pm and arrive in Philadelphia PA at 4:05pm. The bus never showed up and I was told by an employee at the bus station, that the bus driver completely bypassed the Stroudsburg bus station and no other buses would be available today. This completely left myself and my daughter stranded more than 200 miles away from home. I was also told, that there was nothing that Greyhound could do to help my situation, which is totally unacceptable
Desired outcome: I would like the fare of $73.98 for the two bus tickets that I paid for refunded. Also the extra $119.68 that I had to spend for myself and my daughter to finally get home.
Was told my 15 yr old grandson could travel with parental consent...
I talked to an agent and was told my 15 year old grandson could travel unaccompanied from Lewiston Idaho to Salem Oregon with written permission from parent. I purchased a non refundable ticket for $241 and when the parent took him to the bus station, the agent would not let him on the bus even with the parent's written permission. I ended up driving 13 hrs round trip to pick him up, and another 13 hrs RT to take him back home. I have called and been on hold 3 different times for almost an hour each time waiting to speak to customer service. I finally got through to a representative and they told me to go online and fill out a request for refund. I did that over 3 weeks ago and have not received any response. Horrible, horrible customer service.

Very mean & rude agent
I am at the Pittsburgh Greyhound station & I was just called stupid by one of the customer service agents I'm a combat veteran & I've NEVER been treated so badly in my life. I also asked to talk to his boss & he said he is the boss & screw me do I want a refund... He also said I was dumb because I didn't understand how my E ticket works. This man does not need to be working for Greyhound altogether. It's supposed to be a good trip for me & I have to get treated like this. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE..

Greyhound drivers
I have to go over the mountain frequently from Sacramento to Reno, NV for medical care. 90% of the time it is not announced overhead that they are leaving so you do not know your bus is leaving. I have missed a bus this way expecting it to be announced. They also load without the priority boarding first. It is very hard on me to be loaded near the last and not finding a seat up front and getting up from priority seating to find out what bus is leaving.
Desired outcome: That they start announcing Busses and load Priority first.

We have followed your instructions for everything required online and on the phone, those dates listed above the bus and driver no showed UO 2 different times after paying greyhound $241. In good consciences for a round trip from Burlington, WA to Olympia, WA I waited for at least 3 hours at directed place and time and the bus or driver never showed up, I finally bought and paid for a roundtrip ticket by train and their personal bus which took me comfortably from Mt Vernon, WA to Olympia, WA also the train cost $77.00 round trip and they were on time. I am on a limited income and had to borrow money from a friend to be able to finally make my tip to see my son, whom I hadn't seen in six months. I stand corrected, the bus was to pick me up in Mt. Canceled bus due to weather
I boarded the bus in wichita falls TX 12-29-21 5:00pm, the toilet on the bus hadn't been serviced in a while, and the smell was horrible throughout the bus. We stopped in Lubbock around 8:30pm, the station was closed, and passengers couldn't were forced to use the neglected toilet on the bus.
I arrived in Denver on 12-30-21 around 9:30am
The bus was supposed to leave going to Salt Lake City Utah around 12:00pm due to the weather the bus canceled, and I can understand and accept that, however the bathrooms at the Denver station are all closed due to the homeless problem in the area, also all the electric outlets have been turned off, also due to the local homeless problem. So as I see it, I'm being punished for the actions of the homeless people in the area, my question is does Greyhound run the station or the homeless?
And how does Greyhound feel about their customers?

I purchased a roundtrip ticket from Detroit Michigan to Gadsden Alabama to get my belongings to move back to Detroit.September 3 2021-September 5 2021.I was on bus schedule #1156 from Chattanooga Tennessee heading to Louisville Kentucky.It was raining and the bus floor was wet from the rain.As we arrived in Louisville Kentucky, we were told to exit the bus so that the bus could go to the back of the terminal to have the water dried on the floor.We were told to leave our luggage on the bus.As I got out of my seat to exit the bus I was cut on both of my legs by something sharp on the cup holders and received 3 large cuts on both legs.As I walked to go inside of the bus terminal other passengers were pointing at my legs due to the blood running down my legs.I went to the front desk to get first aide supplies.I asked the front desk representative for assistance.She was eating White Castle hamburgers and told me there were no first aide supplies and gave me one small bandaid.My cuts were to large for one bandaid.I asked other Greyhound employees for help and one bus driver gave me a dirty napkin from his front pocket.I went to the restroom seeking paper towels with no success.I asked the front desk is my bus boarding and was told no by Kortney the front desk representative.She then apologized and told me that my bus #1156 did depart heading to Cincinnati Ohio.They gave me another ticket for a bus scheduled to depart for Cincinnati Ohio 45 minutes later.Kortney gave me the phone number to the Cincinnati Ohio bus terminal.I spoke with a female customer service representative who I told about my luggage.She asked me to describe my bags and promised to retrieve them from the bus.I called 3 times to confirm this and she promised that my luggage would be there upon my arrival.When I finally get to Cincinnati Ohio, the representative for Greyhound Lines that I spoke with I was told was not there by another employee and told she probably did not get my luggage.The employee who I spoke with I was told was not there.My luggage was taken and not lost.I was neglected.Greyhounds Lines insurance company said they won't compensate me for my stolen luggage but may compensate me for the cuts that I received on my legs on bus schedule #1156.Everthing that I had including clothes, 2 pounds of turquoise, large gold ore, movado watch, Jbl speaker, sports cards, credit/debit cards, birth certificate, social security card, collectibles, gold jewelry, my late grandmothers obituary, all of my vital and medical papers, camera, my gifts from my friend in the Philippines when I visited and more.I will contact the news media nationwide to address my experiences.I have photos, my bus tickets, and more.

Hello, i booked a trip on dec 11th departing from Atlanta, Georgia going to Cincinnati, Ohio for December 23 at 12;50 am however, i made a change of date to depart sooner to depart out on dec 22, 12;50 am confirmation #[protected] was cancelled. But could not retrieve my ticket, I call customer care, like it stated for me to do, if I had problems. So, i did... I was on hold for over 1 hour call volume high. {I get that holiday season busy} so i left out heading to bus terminal. Waited in line to be call up front to customer service clerk, showed her my departure itinerary on my phone. She says are you Susan wright" I said yes." she then asks if I was checking in a luggage, I said yes. I put on top of scale. Then she said my trip was cancelled, I say to her no its not... She then says I need to connect my bank, that my credit card did not go through, I said to her no, my credit card was charged, and showed her. She rudely says, I don't know what to tell you. So, I ask to speak to a supervisor, because ii need this problem resolved, to get on my bus. So, she left me standing there, and says next to the other customer. So, I waited patiently and ask her to call her supervisor. While I was waited a fight between two gentlemen had started. So now I am not a priority. {I get that so at this point, I never spoke to supervisor, and never loaded the bus. I was never explained on why my trip was cancelled, are never ask for my I.D to even try to help solve the problem. I left the bus station. Because of the confrontation and shooting that may had occur. I went outside to tried to get greyhound service, but still was on hold and no answer. I want my money refunded back. To me. It was a horrible experience! I hope you can understand my frustration. I was just trying to go home and visit my grandchildren.

took a trip to Tampa Fla on oct 19th I was on crutches at the time I boarded a bus in Brunswick Ga which had no baggage claims for i was told to rest assure my luggage would follow. The driver put my luggage underneath bus and i never saw it again. I changed buses in Orlando I was told by someone who was taking luggage off that bus that mine was already moved to the next bus but wasn't because it was never taken off the bus when i changed. that bus went on to Miami which everything was taken off bus in Miami which is where my luggage is at? Ive been treated very ugly on the phone i was told i couldnt receive liability/ insurance on my luggage and been told i should have not left my luggage i didnt leave nothing it mishandled with employees that work with greyhound. everything own is in them suitcases cause i was moving. all my important papers laptop tablet phone makeup shoes and clothes food and drinks suitcases were large but matching but one they were black with red pin stripe had handle that pulled out so you could pull it behind they were large and the one that did not match it was shiny black with stones in was also on wheels and could pull it behind. the suitcases has things i can identify or has something like mail marriage certificate that can tell they mine the mail hads my current address on mail . I have called so many times to the miami bus station but no one never answers always routing elsewhere,

I boarded the bus departed on time after the driver did a headcount at 1:05 pm. We stopped at a kwik trip truck stop in Tomah, WI at 3:50 pm for a 20 minute break. I came out of the store 29 seconds prior to the clock turning 4:11. The bus was gone. My seat indicated I was going to return. I was on the phone with Jefferson lines customer service wnd no one was able to do anything. Ultimately I paid a doorsash driver $280 to bring me home. ($60 cash and $200 cash app). Since arriving home my life has been a night more. My luggage containing all my medication still has not been picked up. I completed the baggage lost online form wnd my friend also did TWICE. The customer service line I spoke to assured me he would have his manager call me. I have left message after message wnd no one will call me back. I have three bags of luggage still sitting at the bus station in downtown Minneapolis. Since they are outsourced the information is limited. Upon trying to escalate the call I am hung up on each time. I want to be compensated for $330 which includes the bus ticket and the cost it took to come home. I have never experienced such difficulties with any company. I will be seeking legal services if this isn't resolved. My medication is with that luggage!

I went to McAlester to catch the bus going to Dallas . My error, I brought the wrong confirmation # ( right # [protected]) I thought the agent could pull up the right Confirmation # I had all the info, she said they could not give me the right number, because they can not pull up any info without the number . The last 4 years I have taken this bus to Dallas, because I am the President of the Race Track Chaplaincy of Texas, and today ( Sat. 20 Nov ) is our 2nd bi annual meeting. On 11/14/2021 I William Gary was on the Greyhound traveling from Chicago at 10:30 p.m to Memphis when we were hit from behind while parked in Effingham, Illinois. The vehicle that hit us was a Nissan with a Illinois plate #CZ70633. After getting to my destination I went to Forrest City Hospital because my lower back was in pain. The driver of the bus did not ask any of the passengers were they ok I received treatment and was given a prescription for pain meds that my insurance would not cover so I paid out of pocket. Mask requirement for vaccinated individuals
I don't understand why a person who is fully vaccinated still have to wear a stupid mask on the Greyhound bus. This is a violation of my rights and I'm asking Greyhound to change his policy too loud. Individuals it's not be required to wear a mask. What is a sense of a person getting vaccinated I still have to wear a mask but that should not be should only be that people are not vaccinated should I have to wear a mask. I know that Greyhound it is violating people's rights by mandating people to wear masks that are fully vaccinated.

The schedules on line are unclear. My family member wanted to travel from Pittsfield MA to Framingham MA and due to the lack of clarity booked from Pittsfield to Boston on a bus stopping in Framingham. We did live chat waited a long time for the agent who then told us we were not entering the information fast enough. Now I know you may have many complaints but do you think this is ok? Then she said we can ask for the bus to let her off in Framingham but he might not. I asked if we could adjust to a ticket where we can be sure she will be let off and we cannot. Then while I was tying the agent closed the chat on me. I opened another chat to obtain the agents ID 3607007. This could be fixed but the impression I have is that there is no interest here in helping your customers. Well this is the last time I will book on Greyhound I won't be a customer after this experience
