shop walmart
Tried to renew my vehicle license at HEB, as I have done for 15 years and clerk told me write the check out to HEB. Only after I had written the check and handed the clerk my driver's license did they inform me that if my driver's license did not scan they could not accept my check. I asked for the manager and the clerk told me to step aside. After serving 3 other customers the manager shows up and tells me shop Walmart. Which is excellent advice, I will. After the many years I have supported HEB, I will shop other stores. In fact I went to Texas' website and saved money by renewing online instead of renewing with HEB. Shop any store but HEB!
curbside
Hi!
My curbside order #2417954 had almost $30 missing upon delivery. I have had to hound the store for a resolution and after 2 weeks, the refund I was promised has not happened. I want to give HEB my business, but this is the 3rd time I have had issues with Curbside (something that I never happens with Kroger Clicklist or their delivery service). I am forced to use Kroger when I want my $ to stay in Texas and support a company that does so much for the community.
Everything from damaged produce to meat that was going to expire the next day (from one store) to a partially filled order and a big waste of my time trying to make it right with another HEB store. I was hoping the issues were store specific - but after trying 3 times with 2 different stores... I just can't continue to use this service.
I am also puzzled by the fact that a receipt is not provided (other than what is emailed - which to me is an order summary - NOT a reciept). Becuase of this I cannot submit my reciept to any of the rebate sites I use (like Ibotta).
Please fix - until I can rely on HEB to deliver the same curbside service as they do in stores I will have to use ClickList. Grocery store pick-up or delivery is the ONLY way I shop now and have been doing so for over a year.
BTW, the error with the shorted items really was an issue. My family and I were headed out in the RV to camp for 5 days at a location with no electricity or water. So when gallons of water and cases of beverages were not in the order (and we did not realize this till we arrived at our destination) it created a real problem for us.
Thanks,
Leah Dossey

animals in store
This will be the second time I write HEB. I am writing in regards to HEB on 7th Street, Austin Texas 78702. I go to HEB several times a week and more and more I see HEB staff doesn't care that dogs are coming in to the store. This is not a pet store this is a food store I've seen these dogs sniffing on the food and their owners don't do anything about it. It's frustrating to see that I have nothing against dogs because I've owned several before but this is not sanitary. They are not service dogs either because I've asked the owner but as far HEB they really need to set some kind of policies and making sure they keep up with them. I love this store because this is my Store but seeing this just discourages me from going to it.
Thank you

customer service desk
Sunday June 3rd 2018. That morning my wife went in to return a rented Bissell steam cleaner that we rented for 1 day. We used it and thoroughly cleaned out every piece. We have rented these many times before so we have never had an issue until this employee gave my wife a hard time. Our reciept was at home, but we have seen they keep records in a binder with their carbon copies. I have forgotten a reciept in the past and they easily looked me up and no issues. Everyone was happy. He told her you have to have it. No one has ever told us we had to have it to return it. On top of that he tells her it is dirty and we didnt clean it. He got an attitude with her saying next time... Well no worries as there wont be a next time. We will rent it somewhere else. Fine. But the way he acted was not appropriate. We didnt catch his name besides that he was working Sunday morning behind the service desk. Brown hair and younger. Maybe 18...19 or so. We own a business ourselves so we know it is important to not treat clients this way. Just hope he doesn't do this to others.
curbside service
On May 18th I went to pick up my curbside order from the HEB Pearland Parkway location. When I got home I noticed two of my items were missing which totaled about $16.00. I called the store and spoke with Aldo who apologized and said I would see a refund for the missing items on my debit card within 2-3 business days. It has now been a week and a half and I never received the refund.
h e b brand white bread
05/28/2018
I bought food for the rockets final basketball game. I was about to toast some more bread when I noticed (after eating rat urine and rat dropping in beaded in a loaf of h e b brand bread I became sick of my stomach.) what appeared to be a brown object (rye) in the white bread, after I could not pull it off, I went to get my glasses and notice it was a rat dropping and the bread discolored.
watermelon
This is the 3rd I've bought I past year inedible. Looked ripe and good, but white marbling throughout, and so pithy, it wasn't sliceable. If these aren't ripe, or are overripe, then you should not sell them especially at nearly $6 each. I would say that this one is less than 1/4 edible. Here are photos. I was going to place the good slices in the large container but it turned out that all of the containers are the bad stuff
pharmacy
Wife needed a special medication yesterday and it got called in and 5th ey said it would need to be transported in today but found out they forgot to put the order in till today and it won't be able to get in. This medicine is a life threatening need for my baby that will need to be born. Now we stuck with no medicine and a panicked wife. We were told it would be here today. I am sure if it was one your the HEB worker they would have got it done. Needless to say I am done with your store all together and will be a major advocate against your store. If anything happens this will be the last you will hear of me without representation.
careless & aggressive driver.
On 5/16/18 about 0645 driving East bound on highway 225 near Pasadena, Texas an HEB trailer #2417 with Texas plates 0100 898 was driving in a trucks prohibited lane and honking his horn and giving the finger to every car or truck trying to get around him. I also passes him & received the same treatment. Due to a wreck ahead on highway 225 traffic was moving slowly. This driver (white male) was video recording my truck and yelling obscenities & telling me passenger trucks are not allowed in that lane. He screamed I pay taxes in this town & I'll drive where the [censored] I want. I drive a company truck with a tracking device & can prove I did nothing to break the law. Once traffic cleared this driver speed up to 75+ miles per hour in a 65 zone & thus his trailer number and plate where all I could get. I am not real sure this is the type driver HEB wants on the roads.
This was on 5/16/18 between 0645 and 0700.
Your Churned in Texas ice cream is really inferior quality compared to the previous Creamy Creations flavors. We really liked and purchased two particular flavors over the past 20 years or so. Buttered Pecan and 1905 Vanilla were the preferred flavors.. The cartons and the contents are drastically changed and no longer taste like the original flavors.Texture and flavors were better than Blue Bell. Old and rancid pecans and lack of good vanilla have lessened the quality of the products. Regretfully, I will have to change to something else. Sincerely JIm McCarty Dripping Springs Texas
product
I want to know what you did tp the tortillas they look like the recipe has changed. When warmed up they get hard like crackers and taste terrible. It took me a long time to find the right tortillas to buy I am picky about many products. I will not buy tortillas at your store anymore until they fix or change whatever they did to these tortillas that were not broken.
P.S. tortillas are yellow not white and fluffy anymore
I have noticed that the receipe is different. I usually buy the HEB Taquitos style, but lately they are stuck together and rubbery. This is the second purchase with the same problem.
construction that can be damage customer property
I went to fill up gas for my car on 5/11/2018 at HEB gas station located on 3501 Clear lake city Blvd Houston TX 77059.
There are lot of concrete poles constructed around the pumps. After filled up gas, I moved my vehicle ahead with slight left turn. When I getting to vehicle i didn't see these poles.
My vehicle was seriously damage due to this concrete pole.I was informed to store manager in this regard, but his simple answer is that barriers are constructed to safe their pumps.
Concept is this HEB didn't concern about the damage that can happen to the customers vehicles.I didn't see that like of barriers in any other gas station.
heb employee
Just went to the Heb and a worker there was walking with gallons of tea and he drop them all over one fell on my side my back is starting to hurt because it of this, he just keep walking left all the tea on the floor he didn't care to ask me if I was ok or that he was sorry to drop the gallon of teas on my side and my foot, I have never been so so un happy or felt so disgusting in a store before he had no manner's so very rude! I hope someone does something about this employee.
improper handling of hazardous materials
Please review the procedures for disposal of bio-medical waste with your management team at Store 089 at 300 Main Street in Kerrville, Texas.
On May 12th at 5:15pm, a Front-End Assistant Manager picked up bloody gauze off the floor, passed the gauze over food items on the conveyor belt at a register lane. She handed the bloody gauze to an unsuspecting and unprotected cashier, asking her to throw it away. Based upon her reaction, the manager recognized the waste as blood soaked gauze when she first picked it up, but continued to handle the item in what must be a clear violation of HEB's policy for the proper disposal of hazardous material. The manager endangered herself and the cashier and potentially contaminated all food items on the conveyor belt.
overcharge
I was overcharged for the Brown Sugar Deli Ham I bought. I was charged for BRS Head Turkey Breast Oven Roasted at $10.69/lb.. I brought this to my cashier's attention but could not go back to the Deli as I was on my lunch break. I was overcharged $3.00/pound.
Please tell how this situation can be rectified.
I look forward to receiving a reply
concerning this situation.
Thanks,
Sue
You are not the only one. HEB trains its employees to overcharge or double the price of items. Recently, I noticed this, when I purchased a gift card for $25 and it was not activated. I went back to the store and they told me, I cannot do anything. I paid with a credit card and HEB treated me like I am the one who is at fault. Let's ban together and put this company out of business. God knows how much the company has stole from us.
cash register receipt
We shop at the HEB on Westheimer at Kirkwood in Houston. When my wife gets home with the groceries I always enter the receipt in my PC Accounting software and lately I have not been able to read the receipts. Today 5/10/2018 when she arrived from HEB and gave me the receipt it was totally unreadable. I am now returning all of the groceries to HEB and am going to let HEB figure out what exactly is on the receipt although they will not be able to. At least the bottom line total cost is readable so I can get a refund off of the receipt and let HEB do the restocking on their time, not mine. It is unbelievable that HEB employees are too lazy to change the register receipt ink but then that boils down to poor management.
curbside pickup/customer service
I attempted to make an HEB Curbside Pickup order on 05-07-2018 around 2:00PM, for a pickup time between 7:00PM to 7:30PM on this same day at the Copperas Cove store.
The order did not go through upon my attempt to place it, as I received an error saying "OPPS SOMETHING WENT WRONG, PLEASE TRY AGAIN". The third time I tried again, it refreshed the screen and still gave the error. I checked with my bank and my $232.27 was put through three times, taking out $696.81 from my account and my family negative (-) over $300.
My family now had no money and my payday did not occur for another two weeks, so as you could imagine I was extremely upset.
I then contacted HEB Customer Service Center in San Antonio, TX and spoke to an employee who would only identify himself as "Daniel" and continued telling me the supervisors (one was named Irene) were not available to speak with me, after multiple request to speak with one. Daniel was professional on the phone initially, but became very rude because he was condescending and continued to repeat himself over and over again after I acknowledged what he said and told him this was not acceptable. Daniel wanted me to call my bank to have the funds released, which from experience as a 40 year old citizen, I have always had issues with doing and it is not every that easy.
I called the bank as requested and my bank (Extraco in Copperas Cove) advised the funds could NOT be released as they were Pre-Authorized. Nothing could be done but dispute the charges now since I received no product.
I then called back to the HEB San Antonio Call Center and requested to speak specifically with Daniel. I told him the funds were not releasable and he had to call your accounting office in order to confirm I was correct. Daniel then returned saying the funds should be able to be released in about 10 minutes.
I waited 20 minutes and called my Extraco back, just to be told the status of the charges did not change at all. I was still unable to get my family's money back.
Thanks to my bank, and no help of HEB, the bank credited me back the funds on the assumption that HEB was going to correct the issue later.
I was angered I could not speak to a supervisor and that HEB had no alternative plan in place for something like this to get the affected customer's grocery order to the store, and let them pay on site. I also lost my time slot and my wife, who is pregnant in her 3rd trimester and much more upset than I, never wants to use HEB Pick-up again. She has already blasted your company on multiple social media platforms.
HEB really put us through HELL today. Just wanted them to know, if there is anyone up there that cares.

h-e-b brand begging strips
I have bought these regularly for the past 2 years for my sweet little dog, it's the only treat she really likes. The last bag had a large piece of wood in it, with many tiny wood shavings at the bottom of the bag. Of course I didn't find this until the bag was about 3/4 used. I fed my poor dog wood shavings! Luckily she doesn't seem to be harmed by the product, but I will never by them again. So disappointing!
money services
On April 30, 2018 I went in to the Richmond HEB to process my rent payment. The service at the money Services counter was extremely poor! The cashier did not know how to process my e-money order which resulted in the store having to issue me a refund. During the refund process I was told it takes 24 hours for my funds to be placed back in my account due to the fact I paid with a debit card. Now I have received refunds via debit card that were refunded back to my card instantly however HEB is different I guess. Fast forward 24 hours later I had not received a refund. I go back to the Richmond location the cashier by the name of Cheryl proceeds to fabricate that she informed me it would take more than 24 hours for my money to refunded. When I expressed to her that she never informed me that a refund would take DAYS she immediately disregarded the conversation and turned me over to the manager. The manager comes out and doesn't even acknowledge my presence I had to approach her. She still could not give me an answer as to why my money had not been refunded. She goes to the back office for what seemed like forever and comes back insisting it was my fault for agreeing to have my money refunded on a my debit card instead of accepting cash. Both women attempted to double team me yelling and talking over me implying I did not know the difference between a debit and credit transaction. I paid with a debit card but the cashier refunded me as if it was a credit card transaction. I have a masters degree and I have made several purchases with a debit card that have been refunded immediately so I believe I know the difference between the two types of transactions. Both women were rude, hostile, and very disrespectful. It is going on day 3 and I still have not received a refund from HEB. The encounter felt racially motivated and I will NEVER return to ANY HEB location ever again. I will be filing a dispute to receive my funds that were totaled to $1000+ back.
heb diapers
I'm pregnant with my third baby and a single mother.and I'm annoyed that Heb doesn't provide bigger boxes of newborn and size 1 diapers. That's all I use and I can't. I don't want to spend extra money on the name brand when the Heb ones work better. Is there anyway y'all can make bigger boxes of those diapers. Would be greatly appreciate. When on a budget and works I would like to use and buy them
