H-E-B unethical behavior

The H. E. B in Pearland, Texas has trash for employees and the managers let them treat the customers like criminals. I was at the Business Center location and I was treated very unfair. To make a long story short, they need to train their employees in customer service skills a lot better than what they do because they are rude as hell! they was searching my bags and accused me of stealing black berries. Damn shame cause I don't even eat them. After a rude # store associate by the name of Derrick Winfield went rushing in and searching my bags like I stole something, he didn't find nothing. He did not even bother to say he was sorry for humiliating me in front of a host of customers. I called the store manager and he have not gotten back in touch with me. They claim they care about customers concerns, well I guess that's a damn lie! Where is that manager? I would rather go to a H - E-B location in the Houston, in the poorest of areas at least they have dignity and respect and I have never ever had a bad experience like I have had in the so called upscale part of Pearland. Mainly blacks work there and 90% of them are not trained properly when it comes to customer service. Please put all your employees in check!

H-E-B product and customer service

Having worked at HEB for ten years I know that Customer service and product quality is priority to the company. I frequently shop at the HEB plus on San Isidro Laredo Tx and am very disappointed with the fact that the produce and the service there lack the HEB spirit. The produce is not rotated in a regular basis, I have to really hand pick my produce, the quality is bad. After my shopping is complete and getting over the fact that I have to go some where else for my produce I get to the checkout lanes. Where the service is by far the worst I have ever experienced, I get better customer service at Walmart down the street! The cashiers are not polite there is no greating at the beginning of the order the cashier biggest concern is IPM's not my groceries once again the fair quality produce is now crushed and bruised. The baggers don't have the slightest idea of the proper way to bag I'll have cans with my meat, cleaning chemicals with my produce, etc. know I get to the manager who are there to give the employee and hand when something goes wrong but they themselves are running around a question mark on there face. I am very disappointed in this store HEB was a company that is always been about the customer service and product quality and this store has.

H-E-B food waste

. I recently listened to a podcast about food wastage and was very sad to hear the surplus amounts of food that is wasted at grocery stores.in America, we waste 75 billion pounds of food, yet we have millions of Americans who are food insecure. Upon completing the Podcast, I truly felt the need to contact my local grocery. I personally do not know what HEB does to decrease this waste but would love to be provided this information. If HEB is not currently tackling this huge problem, I have listed ways below and have also attached “The Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Food Donation Act” which just confirms that it is legal to donate items that would seemingly be “bad” to consumers.
• Donating to local food rescue programs (we don’t have one in San Antonio yet):

• Discounting food that isn’t at peak freshness would encourage people to buy older food that would otherwise be discarded.

H-E-B front end manager - stephanie

Yesterday evening 10/20/2016 - My youngest daughter and I are doing our biweekly grocery shopping. We usually go to the HEB on Potranco but at the time it was more convenient to go to the store at Valley Hi. As we are going to a register, I ask the staff member in the front end area about the pizza dinner deal which was being demonstrated earlier and we decided to purchase. The demo lady had already left so we picked up what was in the refrigerated case however there were only cheese pizzas. I asked Stephanie, the manager (I assuming since she was wearing a dark blue dress shirt and her name tag along with a walkie radio) if there were there flavors. I didn't get a chance to finish my question before she rudely interrupted and said "It's whatever is there!" When my daughter I told her what happened and said I wanted to know if there might be more in another part of the store and where that might be. My twelve old year quickly said "I bet there might be more in the Frozen Food section, let me go check quick." Sure enough my daughter found other flavors. She walked right in front of The lady. No acknowledgement. By this time another person is behind me in line. I have not unpacked my cart and the guy in front of me is just starting to unpack. The same manager asks the lady behind me if she wants to move to next open register. I still have not unpacked my cart. Another person walks up and she is asked the same. She completely ignored me and the fact that I am the next person in line. Rudest person. Worst experience ever at an HEB. I spent almost $300. I knew I should have gone somewhere else.

H-E-B cosmetics

I just need to address the lady working in the McCreless Market HEB. This lady is so unprofessional and in friendly. Every time I go to cosmetic section this lady NEVER smiles or says Hello. I've never done anything to this lady. Every time I need help she doesn't even acknowledge me. When I go up to her to ask her something about cosmetics she just looks at me like I'm taking up her time!? She is selective with people she chooses to be nice to, that's not good customer service. I've had a problem with her bad service for over a year now and I finally decided to speak up cause it's not fair to me as a paying customer to have to bare this kind of treatment. Sylvia needs to be addressed. She is there to service US not yo do it when ever she only feels like it. Or who ever she chooses to help. She smiles and is pleasant when the manager comes around but that is just being fake! She needs to help ALL customers with a SMILE. If not she needs to work in the back of the store where she doesn't need to connect with ALL customers.
That's not a good customer friendly employees.

H-E-B cashier mistakes and false price

I am really tired to return their product put wrong price or say complain to correct their mistakes. Almost every time!
I sometimes doubt they do on purpose to us to buy expensive organic products. We don't want organic all the time.
Price looks confusing.
Good thing, employee are nice and friendly and I love their products.
Please do something! And try no to mistake so mush.

H-E-B pork rinds

Bought a bag of pork rinds salt and vinegar. When I got home to enjoy them the tasted plain. The didn't have the flavor of the salt and vinegar that I was hoping for. They were just regular pork rinds. I always buy this flavor when ever I go to heb, and was very disappointed when they were not to my expectation. Tried to send picture wouldn't let me.

H-E-B pharmacy at 9414 n. lamar austin tx

I called to get my prescription filled, first she tells me, I still have 3 days of medicine left, no I dont, I say she she yes you do I said no I don't you need to check again, she says hold on let me ask pharmicist, why is there someone that is not yet a pharmacist answer any questions, so she comes back to phone and said yes we can fill it, gives us 45 mins. I go there in 45 mins she said your insurance is only covering generic now, which is fine with me cause this medicine is costly, but she says they are out of stock, so she sends it to another heb at least 5 miles from my house, this one that's out of stock is less than a mile away... So I call the other pharmacy and she says your computer pay is going to be 211.00, what! Something is not right it's never that high, so as i'm about to transfer prescription to walmart I get a call back from heb saying that the first heb enter in the wrong type of medicine so when she put it in right corner pay went down substantially, but this whole time the first heb probably had my original medicine in stock so here I am driving everywhere else trying to get it... I'm switching to walmart after this one, these ppl at the 9414 n. Lamar blvd in austin texas need to learn some customers service skills, I understand this is a bad area and they have to deal with some rough types, but they have become jaded there... I'm sure this will not change a thing there so that's also why i'm going to find a corporate number and file a corporate complaint too...

H-E-B business ctr. women very unprofessional

I have been a customer with Heb all my life. I use to come when this speficic Heb first opened. Over the years it has turned into a very unprofessional place. Plz contact me I am fed up with this behavior unprofessional. If they can't hire someone with college credits. Don't hire because they don't know about customer policy.

So someone needs some cowidge to stack cans, push carts into the store, or run groceries over a scanner? And, heaven forbid, that's now a "profession?" I suppose the dude that drives the garbage truck is now, what? An "executive?" Talk about a screwed up English language.

BTW your pics are too fuzzy and too distant to make anything out on them.

Yesterday I dropped a prescription to get filled was told it would be ready the next day. I went through the drive thru only 1 lane open and I was the 7th car in line. It toom 23 mins to reach the window. Went to puck up prescription and it is not ready. It is 2pm. We went to the drive thru and again only 1 lane open and I already been in line for 17 mins.

H-E-B chicken leg quarters 10 lb bag.

Heb not doing quality control surveillance of hcf bagged chicken leg quarters. I bought two 10 lb bags of hcf chicken leg quarters last week. I make my own dog food because the stuff in commercial dog food is 90% industrial waste. When I opened the first bag, there was 1.5 pounds (24 fl oz of pink liquid in the bag with 8.5 lb of chicken. I would not advise human beings to eat that chicken. The processing procedures leave excess fat, along with backbone sections connected to the thighs. I challenge any quality control supervisor at heb to feed that stuff to their family, or even eat it themselves. I should have bought at walmart. I looked at their 10 lb bags at roughly the same price today, and found the wastewater appeared to be minimal. I understand "you get what you pay for", but industrial waste water should not be sold at $.58c per pound. By the way, I have the second bag in my freezer. I'm not finished with this yet. I am retired and have time on my hands, so I will continue to research the usda standards and practices. Hcf and/or heb needs to get it together.

H-E-B unethical behaviour

August 6, 2016 i was trying to buy a blender in heb at this address 28550 us-290, cypress, tx 77433 but they did not have any, a kind worker showed me to a blender in another heb 24224 northwest freeway cypress tx 77429 and they had it reserved for me, i accepted and i went to go find it. when i get to the store they have it at customer service waiting for me the worker had it checked but the seal wasn't there, so we decided to check if anything was missing, and every thing was fine the worker was very kind hearten and said that we don't have to take it if we don't feel secure i said i will take it, so i bought it directly at customer service. i had the receipt in my hands, after that my husband decided to buy eye drops, so he kept the shopping cart with the blender and i go to the register to pay the medicine i walk to the door to the door to wait for my husband, he was coming to me, we walked to the exit door when we already crossed the door a worker was yelling at us in a rude way with another guy with him he asked me without presentation, my receipt and i say that we didn't steal anything i give it to him for confirmation and he says thank you. my husband says you should say sorry, but he turned his back on us and left. when i was in the parking lot i was really confuse for why he was so rude against me, so i returned to the store to the customer service and i returned the blender and i explained to customer service about my decision my husband asked for the name of the man who was yelling at us and he says his name is steve he gave me a number to complain about it, it is [protected] so he also says sorry to me and my husband, and steve should've said sorry to us he said, after that we left. i want to know why he decided to treat me bad, and i want to know why he really did that. that was not polite it is not even the store's policy.

H-E-B hair color

After shopping at this store since it opened I never felt so angry and mistreated after waiting in line at customer service for more than half hour then having a grumpy rep to try and return item... Ask for manager another 15 minutes wait and he was so mean and unfriendly name stan... Who just walked away from me with a devil smile I am in disabled electric cart...

He refused to give me district manager phone number and said to call monday to 800 number. Today is saturday I told stan I need help today and if he can't help me to give me district manager phone number and he refused and lied to me that he doesn't have it!
Like he is trying to pull something on me because I am disabled. And could no keep up with him as he walked away in electric chair
That is wrong rude and bad customer service, he made me feel so low

He lied to me twice when he said heb stands behind the products they sell - then refused to exchange hair color as he 'then' said only accept heb products and I should call the manufacturer monday? Today is saturday and I told him I need help today, like talking to deaf ears...? I said to him that he just lied to me - he said no - and repeated above that is when he walked away from me and I told him we are not done yet - he didn't care and looked at me with devil smile as he kept walking away from me.

He also said he doesn't take back used items - basically saying that I am trying to exchange this item on purpose - no I said many times the item did not work, that is why I am trying to exchange item for a different brand but same hair color... I told stan manager that if it worked I would not be here exchanging it!
It did not work, unless you are stealing from customers their money selling bad products, I paid for item from this store and if it did not work, you should be stand behind it and bbq exchange for similar product that may work.
Refusing as he is walking away...

After supporting this store since it opened many years back, I have never been treated this bad before thinking I may have spent tens of thousands of dollars with my family... This is my thanks for supporting this store!

Any item you are selling in your store, you need to stand behind it and if it does not work, exchange or refund item but not keep steal and be so greedy about an item that doesn't work!?!

Of course it would be open and 'used', as stan manager said I don't take back used items? If it doesn't work - how else does anyone know product doesn't work unless you try it!

Fheb is really wrong and worst customer service I have ever had by a large corporation

They could have easily exchanged it and sent it back to the manufacturer. Exchange item instead of fighting with lies. I feel really bad inside and taken advantage of...
Maybe my disability? Stan manager felt he could take advantage of me?

Please help I paid $13.98 plus tax for l'oreal paris superior preference mousse absolue
32 ounce hair color that didn't work!

H-E-B poor customer service

On july 8, 2016 I was quite disturbed with how the end of my transaction went. I went into the heb on wells branch pkwy in pflugerville, tx store # 07/236 to be exact. I shopped around with no problems. Once finished I went to check out. Jalik b was my cashier. He seem to be kinda new which was fine. He rung up my items, and after he was done I have him some coupons. He needed a little assistance with the coupons so he gave them to the bagger by the name of zariah that was helping him bag the groceries. As she took the coupons from malik, she just started to scan them. As she scanned them some of them didn't work so she proceeded to put them to the side without even asking me if I bought the item or not. I asked her which coupons were the ones that didn't go through. Knowing that some coupons can still be invalid even if you have the item sometimes you just have to key it in. So I asked her what items were the coupons for b/c u were scanning them so fast an didn't ask if I had it or not. So to me that was the first poor customer service experience already an were not even out the door yet. So after she finished helping jalik scan the coupons, she proceeded to go towards the bagging area to bag. Jalik asked if I has any bags, I told him I forgot them in my car an to just put the groceries in the basket an when I get to the car i'll fill the bags up. He said ok so I rolled the basket down to the bagging area for zariah the female helping bag to put the groceries in the basket. I had my 2yr old daughter with me also an I didn't want her out the basket b/c she likes to mess with stuff. But as I brought the basket down an handling the transaction my daughter was trying to put the items in the basket while zariah the bagger just stood there obnoxiously chewing her gum not putting anything in the basket as I asked. My daughter tried to put a juice carton in the basket and dropped it on the floor, it did spill everywhere. An all I heard the bagger say was she dropped the juice. I looked on the floor an seen that it was a big puddle. I was furious at my daughter when I shouldn't have been. Because if the bagger was doing her job putting my items in the basket my daughter who is once again only 2 wouldn't have been trying to put the groceries in the basket herself. As she still stood there she didn't even hesitate to get me another carton of juice an a little lunchable that fell with it. She just stood there. So as I was putting my items in the basket I told my sister who I also had with me to go grab another carton of juice and another lunchable. Zariah told a man by the name of travis that there was a spill needing cleaning. As I glanced at him I noticed he had a blue collar shirt on so I asked him if he was the manager. He said yes and proceeded to clean up the spill didn't ask if I needed anything or was there something wrong, seeing that I asked if he was the manager. As he proceeded to clean the spill. I told travis that zariah act like she didn't want to work. He ignored me. So as I stared at him waiting for a response feeling so disrespected that he treated me as though I was a brick wall, he then replied "what did I miss". I then told him again that the young lady act like she didn't want to work. After I told him that, she replied what am I doing. An I replied back what are you not doing your standing there not doing anything, she then replied i'm bagging, I told her no your are not u didn't bag mines and that's why the mess is on the floor. She then stated that I didn't have any bags. I told her that everything was going in my basket. She (zariah) then said ok whatever. As zariah "the bagger" is going back and forth with me "the customer" I stood there waiting for my sister to come back with the items and for the ccm travis to respond to my in store complaint. He proceeded cleaning the spill without a word to me as though I was never standing in front of him. I seen that travis shook his head and noticed zariah chuckle. Sadly that situation with one night manager and bagger didn't go well. So I waited till my sister came back with the two items that parish didn't feel the need to get. Once she got back I told her to go put the kids and groceries in the car an i'll be out in a sec. I went to go find another employee who seem to be a night manager by the name of enamencia. I told her the whole situation and informed her that i've worked for her before an she knew that I knew that things went suppose to be handled that way at all. She said that she would speak with the unit director when they came in an greatly apologized for the other employees and their lack of customer service. So I appreciate her feeling empathy for my situation. I still wanted to file a complaint because sometimes people say they are going to inform someone and never follow through with it. No customer or employee does not deserve to be treated this way by any employee or customer.

Next time, take your bags. Ignoring a rude customer to avoid a confrontation is what cashiers and baggers are trained to do. If the manager ignored you too, that says a lot. Especially if you have worked there before.

H-E-B customer service did not know proper procedure on how to do western union

I went to heb grocery store in san antonio on ww white road to trasfer money to my son who was on vacation in michigen and had problems and needed money, I filled out form and gave to lady at custamer service counter, was told to recieve money my son would need 2 forms of govorment issued id, so I called my son and he said he only had driver license and to just send money to friend who had driver license and pass port, told lady and she said to fill out another form and she would do transaction, so I filled out another form with my sons friends info to recieve money and waited in line again, then she told me that I already told her that I was going to send it to my son and I could not change the person that I was sending it to and that it was a federal law, but she had not even entered any info and had not taken money yet, she was very agressive and rude, so I asked to speak to manager, and he came out from back room, I told him the situation and he said there should be no problem and at the same time the other lady interrupted and told both of us it was a federal crime if she did transaction after I changed the person I was sending money to and I would have to go to another location to do transaction, I told her are you crazy that makes no sense, meanwhile the lady was just grinning, making rude comments and never once did she try to reason or resolve the issue, so I was starting to leave and she said loudly thank you have a nice day sarcasticly, so I turned around said what a b and threw western union form on ground, started walking out again and again she said thank you have a nice day, I got to my car and thought about it and relized I left my name, adress, phone numbers and email on the form I threw down, so went back in and asked her for form, she said she schreaded it, so I asked to speak to the manager again and she told me he was gone and that she was the manager, about a minute later the same guy walks out from the back, so I found another employee and asked to speak to the store manager, she came over and told her the situation, she went and talked to lady at counter, came back to me and signaled security guard with finger, she got real nasty and said nobody curses her employees and I was escorted out by security guard and was told by him that he was sapd and that if I ever came back to store or if he saw me in parking lot he would arrest me and charge me with numerous charges, and I was banned for life from entering that store or even if I drove thru parking lot I would be arrested and charged with numerous crimes. This happened on 4th of july at 2 pm in front of lot of people, I have never been so humiliated in my life, I went home and got my sons girlfrind to send money at store on goliad road and she had no problem. I called western union and talked to lady and explained situation, she told me that only 1 form of id and trasaction number are required to recieve money,, and also I can send money to whoever as long at trasaction has not been submitted,, I was lied to twice by lady at heb about sending money, or she was just ignorant on how to do western union transaction, either way she should of asked for help if she did not know what she was doing, either way she lied about manager not being there and I do not know if she has my personal information, she was very rude and errogant and seemed like not a very nice person. Me and my family will never shop at that store again. I did file complaint with western union. I just want to resolve this issue, heb needs to train custamer service employees on how to do wester union transactions, and do better back ground checks on there employees. She was being rude as soon as I got there I just did not notice until she kept finding excusses not to do my transaction,, thank you have a nice day

they finally got back with me a month later and basicly said they have right to refuse service to who ever they want.talked to ed cruise store gm.was very rude and unprofessional, offerd me 25$ gift card he said out of his pocket.i never went back to get.suported his rude employee and told me was my fault.

Do to lack of frozen food items and items being removed has been inconvenience when you are disabled single parent when other store carries the items you looking for I would rather shop where some where else I recommending to all not to shop at heb that including all my family which is 5, 600 people and all thier friends including the judge I highly recommend not shopping here.

I have gone to heb for all my life I just went today and a manger made a big fuss over coupons I never have trouble unless its trine that attend me this is not the first time last time trine refused to honor them the policy is if they scan u can take coupons she refused to take the coupons and I told her its 1 per coupon not visit that is when trine took the coupons

H-E-B coupon not honored / verbally abused and harassed / service refused

Manager/employee writes raincheck for item on the back of a yellow coupon because the item was out of stock and not available.

This situation is also an ongoing problem where items on sale are not available during the sale.

Date of harassment: 1/26/16

While attempting to purchase the item, the yellow coupon is refused, claiming it's expired, and that no employee had written the rain check information on the back of it.

After telling them they were mistaken, another manager in charge was called, who also refused to honor the coupon and let the item be purchased for the sale price.

This mic also proceeds to verbally attack me by repeatedly asking "why I always do this."

Assuming his question was in regards to the use of the yellow coupons, the response he's given was "there would be no problem if he would simply honor what another employee had written on the back of it."

Next he says the coupon is not what he's talking about, and proceeds to verbally attack and harass by complaining about the way one always enters the store at 12:30 am (when it closes at 1am).

At this point one also understands the issue at hand involves some kind of an ongoing grudge that this manager holds with his not wishing to assist customers because he wants to leave the store precisely at closing time.

An attempt is then made to purchase the 5 items that were sitting on the counter and had already been scanned, but both the manager and the employee named lee bowman refused to allow the purchase of them and insisted that I leave the store.

At approximately 8am (on tuesday 1/26/16)

A complaint was also filed with the store manager (named joe), but when an attempt was made to file a formal written complaint against these 2 men, he said only complaints by telephone are accepted.

When asked for the contact information of the regional manager (email address/phone no. Etc), was also told that kind of information was not made available.

Since this situation with items on the yellow cupons being out of stock or not available during the sale period is an ongoing problem that keeps resulting in verbal abuse and harassment like this, please do something to see that the items for sale are made available during the sale period.

Please also see that the employee and the mic who refused service and verbally abused and harassed your customer never do so again.
