HDFC seriously s*ks.
I was using citibank for last 5years and never faced any issues. Recently my ATM card magnetic strip was damaged because of the hard swipes on purchases and I reported the same to HDFC banker. Taking the request for the same, it is been 3weeks now and there is no response from HDFC side. I went again to the nearest branch and they asked me to go to the mother branch or call netbanking. The given number of netbanking which is suppose to work 24hours a day [protected] options 116 (as said by the banker) says " We work between 8am to 8pm, please call us back between this time". I'm all frustrated and bugged. I have no other options to change my bank as my company allows only HDFC accounts. My complain reference number from HDFC is EA0121587501.

Would like to seek your kind cooperation and support in resolving my below mentioned query.
As i have recently subscribed with the HDFC card and i have received this credit card around 23-24 dec'11.
My first usage of this card on 10 Jan’12 and I was expecting bill to be generate on 10 feb’12 and my due date will be 29 feb’12 as what their executive explained to me while offering the card “Every titanium card holder will enjoy 50 days credit period to clear his/her outstanding and billing cycle starts after your first purchase ”.
So, my question is why HDFC billed me on 15 jan’12 and assigned my due date on 4th feb 2012, lets say if I calculate from date of receiving of credit card still I am not enjoying the credit days of 50 till 4th feb’2012, couldn’t able to understand how they calculate the payment cycle.
However I have cleared my outstanding to avoid interest or late payment charges, apart from this what executives has told me that you have to bear one time annual charges of INR 500 every year which i have agreed but I don’t know for what reason they have levied membership charges of INR 60 on bill which we haven’t discussed and still I have cleared while making payment.
Same query has been escalated to the HDFC mangers still they haven’t come up with the solution even I have paid my dues., that shows how bank bluffs or cheat with the customer, I am thinking to file a legal case against them.

this is to notify you that my two accounts with h.d.f.c bank numbered [protected], c.i number [protected] and another salary account were been subjected to annual quarterly balance (A.Q.B) deduction even though the minimum balance at which the accounts were opened was maintained duly, that is 5000/- and 0(zero) balance respectively. Bank did not informed personally before or after they increased the minimum balance which was to be maintained to 10, 000/- and 5000/- for both the cases and charged my poor saving accounts for more than two years amounting 827.25*8+ 827.25= 7445.25, seven thousand four hundred and forty five and a quarter rupee in two years . please give justice fir the same.

delay hdfc two wheeler loan
HI,
I have applied for Two Wheeler Loan through Sri Sairam Motors (BTM) on 9th Jan 2012(Monday), and same day i paid 22760/-Rs
They said you will get bike within 7-8 days, 3days for loan approval + 4days
but verification process itself started on 14th Jan 2012(Saturday) .
On 17th Jan 2012 i received sms that verification process is completed,
On 19th Jan 2012 i received sms that my loan is approved with Loan A/c [protected],
then on 20th Jan 2012 i given 3 checks and signed on agreement.
but still (On 26th Jan 2012 ) Sri Sairam Motors guys are saying to wait for confirmation from Bank.
I just wanted to know why this much delay in process.
i don't know who is responsible for this delay HDFC Bank or Sri Sairam Motors,
but finally i am suffering from their process, because neither HDFC Bank nor Sri Sairam Motors is responsible money i have paid and their interest.

I have spoken to HDFC customer care to Ms.Mythili vide Ref.no.[protected] dt.18/1/12 regarding foreclosure of HDFC credit card loan and as per the instructions given I have transffered funds through HDFC-BILL DESK from my SBI saving a/c for an amount of Rs.56, 117/- through net banking vide transaction ID: MSBI2674083535 dt.18/01/2012. I have also received a confirmation mail from the BILL DESK SUPPORT for the same. On 20/1/12 I have received a SMS on my mobile no.[protected] from HDFC stating that out of RS.56, 117/- only the current outstanding amount due for Rs.13, 342.66 have been credited to my CREDITCARD NO.[protected] and balance amount of Rs.42, 774.34 was returned due to excess payment. But till now the money is not credited back to my account and there is no proper response from HDFC regarding the issue. I have spoken to several customer care executives namely Ms.Dharani vide Ref. no.[protected] dt.21/1/12, Ms.Fathima vide Ref. no.[protected] dt.22/1/12, Mr. Eswaran - Manager on 22/1/12, Mr. Kranti on 23/1/12, Ms. Sangeetha vide Ref.no.[protected] and Mr.Rajeev vide Ref.no.[protected] dt.25/1/12 but of no use. I humbly request you to kindly take necessary action against HDFC and BILL DESK for not crediting back my money to my account which they have returned on 20/01/2012. I bought a two wheeler at Preethi Bajaj, Mallur, NH7 Trichy Main Road, Salem, who is a sub dealer of Bajaj vehicles, on 07-10-2012.
Mr. Senthil Kumar who had been a authorized financier of HDFC received all stipulated documents at the time of the vehicle having bought, for loan of Rs. 38400/-. He assured me that my loan formalities would be processed within 3 days of time.
I approached the financier Mr. Senthil kumar lot of times over phone and in person. But my approach stood vain. He gave me an evasive reply that there had been some problem in the Main branch of HDFC. I trusted him a lot. It has become more than 2 and half months of time. I tired of approaching the financier Mr. Senthil Kumar.
Finally I approached the HDFC bank, Salem where I got known that my application had not bee submitted to the bank for sanction of loan. I was shocked and i did not know why my application had not been submitted to the bank.
At last I came to know that Mr. Senthil Kumar, HDFC financier along with the Owner of Preethi Bajaj sub dealer, used my initial deposit of Rs. 17250/- for their own purpose. They did not make any necessary arrangement for sanction of my loan at the bank.
The financier deceived me a lot not submitted my application to the bank. I finally approached other the team leader Mr. Ilayaraja who logged in my application and processed. Again i submitted all of my necessary documents to the bank. After 3 months, at my own approach, my loan was sanctioned and my vehicle registered on 05-01-2012.
I submitted all the documents to the financier mr. Senthil Kumar at the time of the vehicle having bought. He did not submit anything to the bank. I need to have all the documents submitted to him.
I also request you kindly to initiate severe action on this financier at an early date to retain the name and fame of the HDFC Bank. And prevent other customer being victims. Kindly please hand make necessary steps to hand my documents at an early date from the financier (8 photographs, ration card xerox copy etc., ).

Nri's watch out, if you are going for housing loan with hdfc, please be careful. I sent them majority of important personal documents (which demands privacy) for home loan in bangalore (hdfc kasturba road branch) initially for approval. upon following up for around 1 month, I did not get any official update from them. I called their representatives several times and verbally assured me that my home loan is approved. but at the the end I found that my important documents were returned back to third party which I came to know after few days. I came to know from third party that my housing loan was rejected, something which was never communicated to me from bank. my concern is not about the getting home loan as there are plenty of option, but my concern is that my documents, including vital data, employment history, passport, pio and other papers, which demanded privacy and secrecy, was ridiculed by bank staff. my papers were handled from peon to sales staff to manager and other colleagues of sales office inside and outside bank. copy of those documents were returned back to third party (in my case builder's representative) who was not authorized to receive my submitted documents. this has happened due to the fact that the bank failed to give me approval for my loan even after one month (something which they promise 4 days) for which I complained to higher authorities of bank. upon knowing that the concerned bank in bangalore started playing with my documents, I also fear that my vital data would be misused by bank. I am warning every nri community to know before handing over important documents for home loan. you are probably not in safe hands. it was not that I was not eligble for loan, with given back ground and financial documents of mine I can command million dollar loan any where in world in a matter of few hours.
Nris know the reality of hdfc bank, if not in general but majority of their workforce is drawn from poorly qualified college students without proper training. their representatives have too much curiosity of your life and personal details. I have written to chairman of hdfc more than a week ago, but have not heard from him.
I must remind that better be watchful while dealing with hdfc, there is nothing called privacy or secrecy in this bank. you might even attract threat or risk to your life from someone outside bank who would have taken tips from your financial documents by stealing data with regards to your background and bank balance.
A blog regarding this incidence will be up and running very soon, which will highlight unethical, unprofessional behavior of HDFC staff and how they manage to manipulate their clients in want of business. This blog will have update on complete experience while banking with HDFC being an NRI regards to the lies, harassment and inefficient service I faced while seeking Home loan after my arrival in this country.
I faced same thing with HDFC Kasturba Road Branch Bangalore. HDFC sales manager/staff promised me to complete and finally he started missing from taking my phone calls. When I reported to higher ups, they issued similar statement that some documents were missing. They did not demand for any extra documents, as I supplied them most, but excuse was just home cooked.

I got a reference of Mr. Shailesh currently posted with Munirka Branch of HDFC at Delhi. The executive took all the relevant documents from me for scantioning of a housing loan, looking at the papers he propmptly assured that desired loan amount would easily be disbursed. After that it was long since i heard from him on calling he would give an excuse that two more documents are required. Time and date was fixed for the remaining process. However the abovem named executive niether meeting also not taking my calls. On his assurance i went ahead made the booking of flat and also made initial payments. Now i have been left in middle of nowhere. I wonder how can get my problem addressed and stopping the abovenamed executive from duping other people and spoiling bank's reputation.
I totally agree with you. We are going through the same thing now. Its been more than 5 months and we have not yet received any update from HDFC about our home loan. The HDFC agent have told us several times that our documents are clear and you are eligible for the loan and we do not have any issues but the process takes some time. But its been 5 months now. Now they are asking us to send our bank statements and salary slips again(refused to provide reason for asking us these documents again and why they are taking so many months to pre-approve our loan). In addition to this, HDFC people ask us to forward our documents on their personal accounts since HDFC mailbox has some size limit and they will not receive the documents if it is above that. We were compelled to send documents to personal account. Since we were concerned about the security and lack of communication we submitted a complaint to higher authorities and were surprised to hear that they were OK with their agent using personal account for our documents.
BLACKMAILING, KIDNAPPING OR ANY SUCH CRIME CAN BE OUTCOME OF SUCH MISHANDLING OF PRIVATE DOCUMENTS, I TOO OBSERVED SAME IN INDIA, WHERE THERE IS NO RESPECT FOR PRIVACY OR SECRECY. GOVERNMENT MUST ENACT SUCH LAW, ELSE IT CAN BE LIFE THREATENING, IF SUCH INFORMATION IS SOLD TO SOMEONE BY BANK STAFF KNOWINGLY. ALL BANKS IN INDIA MUST BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING SECRECY TO THEIR CLIENT. I AM SURE PRIME MINISTER OR FINANCE MINISTER OF INDIA MUST BE AWARE OF SUCH PROTECTION TO CLIENTS MORE SPECIFICALLY FOREIGNERS OR NRIs.
I THINK MOST PRIVATE BANK LACKS TRAINING AS THERE IS NO PROFESSIONALISM TAUGHT, WHAT IS TAUGHT IS HOW TO GET MORE AND MORE BUSINESS. AND WITH REGARDS TO PUBLIC SECTOR BANKS, IT IS SAME BECAUSE THEIR STAFF ARE FROM VERY LOW BACKGROUND OR RESERVED CATEGORY. THEY HARDLY KNOW WHAT WORLD DEMANDS TODAY. THEY STILL WORK LIKE A STREET SHOP. IN MY EXPERIENCE ALL KIND OF BANKS IN INDIA ARE MORE OR LESS LIKE STREET HAWKERS. THERE IS NO ACCOUNTABILITY OR INTEGRITY IN THEIR PROFESSION. You should have submit your personal documents to bank counter of Home Loans rather to give documents to Direct Sales Agents or team staff with acknowledgement thereof from the bank signatories.
1. Once you will follow the above, your documents will always be in safe and private custody of bank.
2. Bank will not be responsible to return your documents submitted to them as you yourself agreed the same at the time of signing on the terms and conditions of application of loan.

Some representative named sanjay was calling me on my cell on 16th dec 2012 about my loan emi & unfortunately I forgot my mobile at my home desk so very obvious not being answered to that calls, in night same day when I camed at home, I got to see 70 misscalls & blackmailing sms on my cell, also not even this sanjay started calling to my friends number which I am completely unaware about that, next day I started receiving calls from my friends & reporting me that as got called from hdfc bank, which is completely annoying to me now, I dont know who is customer in this situtation, either me customer or sanjay, & got to know this is how hdfc serves their customer, I called it as pathetic service.
Next day morning 10:15am I answered sanjay's call & I asked a very simple question to him why did you text me which is seems to be blackmailing to me, not even this, infact sanjay was laughing at me when m asking this question & so simply I asked to sanjay, I can't talk to person like you any more, that really irritating me, let me talk to your senior, he is not responding at that moment for a minute, & later on I told him call me if you allow me to talk to your senior & then got call again in next 2 minutes & finally a long missbehaving conversation from sanjay, then I spoke to his senior person who's name is pratab from the same branch kandivali (mumbai) , pratab is gentle in talk & he understand the situtation & he aggred that what sanjay did is completely wrong, & pending emi is paid on same day 17th dec 2012 & before ending call pratab said we will take some action on sanjay for sure.
I dont know what action you & your team can take on him, but one thing is clear that I not happy to continue my account in hdfc any more (dont worry before closing this account i'll pay every single penny which I took from hdfc as loan) & not even this i'll not suggest to anyone to prefer hdfc bank for banking.
Because I dont know is their a tracking system to track such pathetic misbehaving executives like sanjay. & their are more chances to have such kind of uneducated & illitrate peoples working in your hdfc bank to serve worst costomer care experience.
If possible I would like to share this worst experience over web with everyone (i am ready to do seo to get listed in top list of hdfc search, so max. people will come to know about this. )

I have applied in HDFC bank for Loan through local agents (Pooja and Maria) in Delhi in August'11. Till that despite clear cut eligibility the loan has not passed. When ever enquired from agents there response was rediculous.
in Nov'11 beginning the application was resubmitted, but neither agent is responding nor bank persons are responding. My loan application no. given by agent is [protected] where as teh loan application no. given by bank person is [protected].
I do not know what HDFC bank is doing to deal for such agents?

I never expected that the Principal Nodal Officer of HDFC is so adamant for not to reveal the tele-recorded evidence between me and bank during Welcome Call for transparency.
Any Banking system should have some accountable system, which is flawless. Therefore Reserve Bank of India guidelines are existing.
If a Bank do not follow RBI guidelines then it is Pathetic. HDFC case is also like that.
It is pertinent to mention that HDFC had not promulgated their interest rate as guided by RBI vide their Master Circular RBI / 2008-09 / 261 ref DBOD.No.Leg.BC. 75 /09.07.005/2008-09 dated November 3, 2008.
I do have few more solid evidences against HDFC's flaw syatem and approach RBI, Media people at appropriate time to Show the real face of HDFC.
I am still in collecting sufficient evidences against HDFC for big bang and prove HDFC is FRAUD bank. So that many more citizens could be benefited.

Why are you so desperate for a loan from HDfc bank. Go to some other bank..such desperation for loan will make the bank think you are a bad credit.. HDfc bank is not obliged to give you a loan
hdfc bank online prepaid recharge
When trying to refill prepaid mobile the Transaction was Unsuccessful. Still Amount of Rs. 100 got deducted from my HDFC bank Account.

have not yet recieved loan insurance documents and policy
This is in regards to the Car Loan I have taken on my Account no. [protected], My Concern is regarding the Insurance I have taken on the loan (which was detailed to me by the agent),
First thing I have not been Intimated when and how long would it take to deliver the documents for the same by the Agent who processed my loan, There have been no details provided to me for that (Eg, Loan account no., Insurance plan etc). I was Told that I will be recieving the complete policy via Mail at my mailing address however there has been no calls or notification yet even after 3 months after the amount got deducted and the loan processed. Whenever I would call the agent "Ramji" he would only tell me to wait for his callback because there is some closing going on and there is a lot of work pressure and I should wait and send him the Cheque which I did several times (no.22565) which was drawn on my account no.[protected], after which I have been just told that procudures of getting the policy would happen automatically and now it has been 10 month and it has not happened, and now after several efforts of calling him, the agent has also stopped answering my call. This is not the kind of service one would expect from HDFC bank. I have been trying to reach the customer services for a long time and have been unable to get any information by the customer care executives.
I am not asking anything extra, all I am asking is documentations for what I have already paid, Please Understand someone wants to have his family members secured if something wrong happens, thats why we plan and invest so much money while we are alive, but just because of these problems we loose faith in Banks and even Insurances and policies, I only expect the bank to live upto to its reputation and give me what is rightfully mine, I am not asking for a reimbursement or any charity from the bank, just my policy details and documents, Request you to help me gain knowledge regarding the same and send my the documents for the policy.

rediculous service - customer care themsleves claim their executives have no knowledge

My file number for hdfc homeloan is [protected]... Its been a month since I have submitted docs... But no satisfactory answers rather false promises being done.. The customer care for hdfc ltd even more pathetic.. On our first call they told they will call back with the status.. But noone responded.. Second time I call they say the loan amt what bank agreed upon is less and u have to tell me if you agree on a lesser amt.. Such a big statement an hdfc cust care exe is making orally... When we communicated this to sales guy he said he will get it higher amount sanctioned... After sometime I again called hdfc cust care spoke to anjali dsouza, same response I got again nothing in writing.. And even she said that executives in order to meet their targets give false commitments they are not well educated and hardly graduates. They dont have much knowledge and misguiding me. Imagine a cust care saying such things about their own executives... Isnt'it ridiculous...

hidden charges and cheating
I have a credit card from HDFC bank, and I have the savings account in the same bank. This HDFC has some shi* called autopay wherein the outstanding due is supposed to get deducted from your linked bank account. No need to mention that I have registered for that!. Catch here is these ###s have given two options there "minimum amount due" (god knows what exactly it is!) and "total amount due"!. I opted for minimum amount due. One more thing nowhere HGFC has given explanation about difference between the two, may be they think that humans learn the difference through placenta in their mothers' womb!
I mailed them for the detailed information (:'HBL=[protected]' Clarity needed in statement) they gave some reference numbers ([protected], [protected])
No need to tell that the customer care service is absolute bullsh**
Please beware of yourself when you are opting for HDFC credit cards,
