faulty/broken fridge delivered
I purchased a fridge on the 26th of September 2019 from hificorp.co.za. It was delivered on the 1st of October 2019. I followed the instructions as per the instruction booklet. However the fridge compartment does not work at all. After lodging a complaint on the 2nd of October and again on the 3rd of October, no response had been given to me from Hifi Corporation. I had to throw out R5000 worth of groceries because of this.

Hi I placesd an order on the 26 of September order number [protected] and no one called to tell me what's causing the delay, I had to contact your customer care only to find out that the vehicle was high jacked and they placed a new order on the 40th, im telling them I won't be around next week to recieve the order and would like for it to be delivered before Friday and they telling me they can't guarantee that and I want my refund, they telling that I have to wait 7-10 working days for the refund, this is not the service I paid for

Good day hifi corp in willowbridge told me on friday that my tv is unrepairable and will give my money back. I spoke to brandon and he said I will get my kredit back on monday. So I went to store to choose my new tv because brandon said they have a sale. This monings on my way to hifi I called him to let him now im on my way. Firstly he was on leave and never said anything then the manager mariska who was very rude spoke to me and said that they are still repairing my tv. I could not understand because I was said to come choose a new tv and he had all my details. Mariska told me I was the wrong customer I am very upset and I will definetly take it further legarlly. Mariska at willowbridge hifi corp also told me even if I log a complaint nothing will happen so I would like to speak to someone higher than the call centre you have thank you

I don't even think it's a complaint anymore I am disappointed first time ordering online from you guys and I will never ever associate myself with you guys in any shape or form. Been given the run around for days now I've lost a client from your lack of delivery to me and that is unforgivable from me order #[protected]. My printer has been sitting with whomever has decided to keep it and no one has the professional stand to keep me abreast I have been calling and being told it's on its way for days now. If I was a big company this would have been sorted ages ago but cause my money is worth nothing to you guys I will wait. But never again that is a promise. Word of mouth will prevail in my circle.

I purchased a tv last november 2018.I paid R7000. It came with a 1 year warranty 9mnths into the warranty the tv starts freezing on the start up logo and i took it back to hifi corp. I was told it will be booked in for repair and sent out . 6 days later i called and tv was still at store only that evening it was picked up by repair guys. Next day i got a call tv is bk and at store . It was a saturday, exactly a week later of me bringing it in. I was told it was software problem. I took it home and 2 days later the exact same problem happened again. I called the store manager Jose and hes asked me with i like it changed for a new one and i said i will really appreciate that because it seems im gna keep having issuse with this tv . He told me will sort out with the necessary people and let me know when i can come fetch another tv . I was then called by hes female staff and she told me she needs my address to book a repair on tv . I told her i already spoke to Jose and hes agreed the tv should be exchanged. So i called him a hour later and hes said hes on the with the same guys concerning the tv exchange .. Again i was reassured that the tv will be exchanged . He said will call me bk when he was done . 2 hrs later he calls my wife and says they refused and he cant dp nothing after reassuring me twice it will be changed . I am very dissapointed with this and will never buy again at hifi corp. The repair guys are booked to cum to my home to sort tv again . I have bout 2 and half mnths to go on my warranty and what happens if the tv gos faulty again at 3 mnths with same problem?. R7000 down the toilet. I will make it then my duty to put hifi corp in our local papers about they services rendered . As well as facebook social media and tell practically everyone i know and advised them not to buy at hifi corp . Poor customer service.. Very disappointed customer .

I bought a laptop from hiFi Corp thohoyandou. It stopped working. Took it back in July an was told it will b taken in for repairs. It's now the 1st of September an the laptop is still at the shop. Every time I go to the shop I am told the the will send the laptop for repairs. Even today am still waiting. All I want is my money back. What poor service from such a big shop.

I'D [protected] Josua Venter. We had a pre approval through your company. We where dealing with carnival hifi Corp. However on submitting my work contract it was declined. Whoever was dealing with this clearly did not read the contract correctly. It is a permanent contract and not a temporary contract as was stated by the person dealing with this. They could of even called my company on [protected] to validate that I am in permanent contract. Kindly look into this as I would seriously like to purchase from your company.

We purchased a fridge/freezer online from HI FI Corp on Monday 19 August, and were informed that it would take 2-6 days for it to be delivered. It is now nine working days and the item has still not left the depo.
The item should have been despatched from Polokwane but we told that none were in stock and therefore it would be despatched from the HI FI Corp at Thavhani Mall in Thohoyandou. We have been contacting the manager and/or assistant manager at the HI FI Corp Thavhani every day this week, with promises from them to get back to us with a response, although this has never happened. We have had to contact them every time incurring cost from our side.
HI FI Corp Thavhani have informed us that our item is at their depo but it is the courier who is at fault for not collecting it; we have been told this every day so far, and that it will either be delivered later in the day or the next. This has been going on all week.
We are extremely unhappy with this service and the complete lack of acceptance of responsibility - blame is shifted from one person to another, whilst in the meantime, it is the customer who is having to sort out the mess, and chase up on staff incompetence.
Hisense 8kg washing machine
I bought the machine online on the 23 of August 2019 with order number [protected] for the amount of R499.00.00, Then on 26 the same product was on promotion for the amount of R4 299.00. I immediately call HIFI-CORP Customer care for advice. They advice me to reject the order and reorder the new one that is on promotion with order number [protected]. And i have sent email to customer care for cancellation of the first order, but no one assisted me.
Warehouse call me to confirm delivery of the new order which was schedule to be delivered on 29/08/2019, i immediately call HIFICORP to confirm if the new delivery is for the new order or not, the consultant confirm and the machine was delivered. Later i have receive email confirming the delivery which was confirming the order that was cancelled.
Please come and collect this machine and deliver the correct order and refund me money for the first order.

We received the order yesterday 27 August 2019 and connected the TV today but it seems like the screen is broken or faulty. Picture is attached. Not sure what is wrong but the screen only has coloured lines over it almost as if it fell? Is there anyway that we can have it replaced or repaired PLEASE as soon as possible. Damaged goods delivered and delays on replacing it
I have bought a 55" Sansui plasma TV online using your online store on the 15 August 2019, the tv was delivered on 21 August 2019 at about 5pm, when i switched it on i realised that it was damaged on the screen .The next day on the 22nd i called the customer call centre to notify them about the damaged TV. I was told to take it back to the nearest store which I did take it back to a store in South gate mall and all the documentation required.i was told they will call me once they got a go ahead from the headoffice authorising them to give me the new one.i tried calling them for an update from the week starting 26 August 2019 even today i am not winning.I am tired

On the 24th November 2016, I bought a fridge from Hi Fi Corp, They had some sort of grand opening and they only had 30 or 50 of these fridges for R2999, I paid cash cause it was extremely busy that day so I did not want to be sent back due to cards being offline.
My problem is my fridge decided to stop working and its 4 years warranty, I went to Hi Fi and I was told to bring the slip, I told them, my slip is faded so I emailed a photo of the model cause I was told they never had that fridge at that price, I took a photo of the faded slip and model of the fridge. To my surprise they found that it was really on promotion that time, the lady told me that she is gonna speak to her manager and see if they can track the slip, later I receive an email again asking me to bring the faded slip .
This is so unprofessional and inconvenience, Hi Fi failed to advise me as a customer to make a copy of the slip because they fade, I am sitting with a fridge that is not working but its still under warranty because someone is not willing to assist a paying customer. I am very disappointed with HI Fi Corp East London, I am a regular customer there I feel I have been treated unfair. If nobody is willing to assist I am willing to take it further, HI Sense needs to be involved also as well.

Last year the 16th of January 2018 I bought a sinotec fridge and this year around May 2019 it started tripping electricity and the workshop people came to fix it at my place and they failed and took it to sinotec workshop and they also failed fix it. I was called to come and take a new a fridge at hifi Corp at carnival mall. I went there on the 31st July 2019 and took a new defy fridge.On the 3rd of August 2019 the defy fridge was freezing on the upper part where it's not supposed to freeze even when the thermostat is adjusted at 1 and everything that was in the upper part was frozen.i reported the matter at Carnival Mall Brakapan on the 06th August 2019 and by thus date they haven't helped me.

I brought a 55inh sansui TV that a sales person told me that the tv was a smart TV and it will do what I want it to do that is run the dstv app and mirror cast from my phone when the tv doesnt do those things I paid R5700 I returned the tv back and still didn't receive my money due to there is no money in the shop in my understanding that is not my problem cause I paid for the tv and I expert my refund immediately I am not going to wait for days weeks or months I would like my money transferd to my account immediately my contact number is [protected]

I bought the TV online on the 29 June 2019 - order no: [protected], it was delivered to me on the 04 July 2019. Upon deliver, the item was not opened so no check was done by both the driver (whose responsibility it is to check that the item is delivered in good order) and the person who signed for it.
Due to the fact that HiFi Corporation is a reputable company and we could not connect the TV as we had not bought the DsTV decoder, no one bothered to open and actually check the package. The package was only opened on the 26 July when we finally bought the decoder and we found almost 60% of the screen cracked and the TV opened on the side.
I went to the nearest Hifi store on the 27 July 2019 to find out what the process is and they advised me to log the complaint with the "online people", I did under ref: [protected]. My TV was then taken in for assessments on the 31 July 2019.
On the 13 August 2019 I received a call that I should come and collect my TV as the supplier said the TV was broken due to negligence. It should be noted that the TV has never been used.
According to the Consumer Protection Act No 68 of 2008 I (the consumer) have a right to return faulty, damaged or poor quality goods within six months of the date of purchase. At this point both the supplier and HIFi Corporation cannot prove that the damage was caused by me (the consumer) and yet they have decided that they cannot replace or refund the item.
I have been taken from pillar to post with regards to the matter. If it cannot be resolved at this stage, I will take it further.

I puchased a washing machine on the 31st July 2019 and I have still not received it to date ( however the delivery is expected between 2-6 days). On the tracking log there seems has been no movement, I call the customer care EVERYDAY and I'm forever told that the despatch unit will call me. My experience with the online department has been extremely frustrating and very upsetting.

Till today (07/08/2019) I have not received my purchase and I keep receiving calls from HiFi Corp confirming my address. The online tracking option is not even up to date by the look of things because I cannot track my order at all! Such an inconvenience from HiFi Corp, online services seem to be something they cannot handle logistically. Please help, I NEED MY WASHING MACHINE!

I applied for finance online and was approved then got an SMS to go to my nearest dealer which is Centurion. On Saturday morning at around 09:20am I was already at the store to get everything done, I had my ID, Bank statement and Payslip. The whole process took the whole day, from that time to Around 13:30pm. I was tired and hungry. I was told that it will take about a day or 2 for me to get a call from the store to come collect. I never got the call not even today. I am even thinking of canceling the whole thing and going somewhere else. When I call the store myself to check, I am told to wait. Why is it that everything is taking so long?
warranty claim
1. My Hifi system was reported faulty 3 Months ago and taken from my house two months ago.
2. System inspection report was reported to be replaced by person that took my system.
3. Head office called me and confirmed the default system taken from my house.
4. Head office confirmed I will be refunded or will replace default system.
5. Rustenburg Hifi Corp confirmed that the system was discontinued and I must choose something else when paper work is received from head office.
5. Rustenburg confirmed the paper work received from head office to replace faulty product.
5. When I went to choose replacement item for same amount to replace on warranty claim on the 24.07.2019 the system was OFF LINE and I was refused on my items sellected.
6. When I went back on 25.07.2019 the system was still off line and I was again refused assistance to take my warranty claim items selected.
7. When I went back on the 26.07.2019 the store manager said they are still waiting for the technician and cannot help me.
I hereby just want to be helped so I can be granted to take my items chosen as replacement on the warranty claim as I am already waiting for 3 months with no complain.
Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I took my mother and father to hifi corp rustenburg yesterday as my mother applied for finance on your website and was approved, She had to take her id bank statements and payslip. she needs to buy a new washing machine. she is 70 years old and my father is 78 and has Alzheimer. From the moment we walked in to the store the service was non existent! your people was standing in a group chating to each other when i approached and asked for help they said they are off line and cant do anything, the more i asked to help us with choosing a washing machine and finding out what is in stock the more they laugh and pull up there shoulders. they were not bothered in the least to assist us in any way and just turn there backs to us and kept on chatting. we have to go back tomorrow to try again but with this type of service and your staff not interested in doing there work it is likely i will go to game or another store. the service is [censored] to be frank, the staff in that store should all be fired and replaced. i am a area manager my self and i have been in retail for 15 years and never have i been in a store were the staff laugh at the customer and turn there back to keep chatting to each other. what will you be doing about this and how will you be assisting my mother with her purchase ?
