two accounts running for one item and im paying double which is a mistake
Since november 2016 ive been paying for one washing machine twice every month till to date and ive been to the shop in mbabane, no one has taken my issue into consideration, ive filled form s to claim al my money back, nothing has been done, even cancellation of that wrong account and im frustrated and affected negetively. i request that i get my money back and cancellation of the wrong account as soon as possible.

Hi on the 13th of May 2017 I took my dvd player in for repairs. 1st they didn't write on the job chart what was wrong. 2nd I waited more than a month still no feed back.3rd when I got to Hi fi corporation in BOKSBURG the dvd player was laying there from the 9th of June. And guess what it was still not fixed. So now I asked you where is your policy that says " IF WE CAN'T FIXED IT IN 21 DAYS WE WILL REPLACE IT OR REFUND YOU? Because your team at customer service are useless! !

We purchased this above mentioned TV online at HiFi Corporation's store in Springfield, Durban. Only to get a response a day later. After the money was taken, that they did not have stock.
We spent the day trying to get hold of them viay email and phone calls, no one at that branch answers.
A few minutes ago a woman named Charlotte answers and says that they are not sure when they will get stock?
I do not think this is legal.
I have seen various unanswered complaints ons Hellopeter.
Why are you as a consumer tricked into giving money to a company that does not provide the goods you pay for or any customer service?
I called today this morning trying to find out about my application which i did at Jabulani Mall and i spoke to a very rude gentleman by the name of Musa Vilakazi he didn't even hear why was i calling and what was my query he was so unprofessional to someone who is bringing business to Hi-Fi the call was done around 09:45 21/12/2017 i really wish quality assurance could listen to how customers are treated in their business.

Bought a electric stove this morning 20 May.l just after 10am. The purchase was subject to delivery same day. Their driver had been dispached already but i was promised that i would receive the stove as i cannot wait till Monday. Phoned your store around 4pm - on the 5th attempt the phone was answered. Desmond said that it would take another 40mins from that time for delivery. This time has some and gone. No delivery and no phone call. Disgusting service. This purchanse was subject to delivery today. I'm am furious!
I can't sit around waiting tomorrow and Monday there is no ine here. What are you going to do about this?!
repair services
I sent my TV in for repairs on 02 May 2016. Hifi Corp has not provided any feedback in relation to the repair almost a year later. Enquiries in the past 4 weeks have being fruitless with the same excuse as we were not here when the TV was brought in for repairs etc. Even the regional manager was not interested in providing any feedback.
On recent enquiry on 10/5/2017, it was confirmed that the TV is not in possession of hifi corp or its agents, so in other words they lost the TV.
It has not being almost a year and nothing from them.
All I want is my refund for the TV and amount paid as a quotation fee, all-in-all about R 10, 000.00.
To get hold of the Durban branch or head office via telephone is impossible.
All documentation for this has being provided to Terence from the Durban branch.
poor customer service
I purchased a Sansui 32 inch led t.v on the 23rd February 2017. I took it back to the store i bought it from on the 15 April 2017 due to the picture on the screen that was upside down. It was booked in for repairs exactly three weeks ago and I still have not received my t.v . I've been to the store a few times to follow up and iv'e been calling, to this day all they've been telling me is the technician is looking at the t.v . The service department don't communicate at all if I don't inquire and now it seem to me like they not bothered about helping me they have my money so I must just wait it's not their problem. They have my t.v almost as long as I had it at home so now I have paid for an item that I don't have in my possession because it is faulty. If it was any other store they would have swopped the item around no questions asked because it does not take a rocket scientist to see that it was a factory fault on my t.v
dstv hd single view decoder
I purchased a single view HD decoder form the Hi Fi corp store in Fourways crossing on the 28th April 2017. When I hooked it up at home (I didn't need an installer as it was a simple plug and play as I have a communal DStv outlet box in my apartment) I paid my subscription and was switched on by Multichoice only to find that every second channel had a problem with intermittant breakages in the sound. I called my body corporate who advised me to call an installer to come and check the connection to the dish. I was told that if it is a problem from the dish to the outlet box then the body corporate would carry the cost. However - if it was a problem from the outlet box to the decoder or with the decoder itself, I would have to pay the call out fee. The installer came and tested everything and informed me that the HDMi cable that came with the decoder was faulty. To prove this he plugged in the AV cable set and the sound was perfect on all channels but obviously not HD quality. I am now out of pocket for the call out fee and I now have to make my way to Hi Fi corp to change the HDMi cable. I called Hi FI corp Fourways (Ledin) who says he is not responsible for the call out fee. This is not fair.

Morning,
I went to HIFI Corp in Port Elizabeth yesterday in order to purchase a microwave, an ipod docking station and a television.
When I got to the till I was told that none of the card machines were working.
This was 45min prior to closing time. I did not have R13000 cash on me and was very disappointed to see the no care attitude of the cashier. Bar that - the sales staff should have informed me when taking the stuff that the card machines arent working. No one offered to keep the goods aside for me either.
So this morning I decide that I will re visit the store and give it a second go, so i draw cash, as the website says operating hours are from 08:00 - 17:00, only to drive the 20kms out of my way to find a closed store. The sign on the door says 09:00 - 18:00.
Come on guys, up your game and update your website - you lost R10 000 sale already.

My husband Michael Plenderleith has an account with HiFi Corporation Parkmeadows. He has bought two fridges, a dishwasher, two TV'S and he keeps getting phone calls from a JHB and a DBN number and when he answers the call no one talks to him. He also gets a call saying his account is in arrears but he has paid up to date. Also he has got a repair request number [protected] dated the 17th February 2017 for our dishwasher as it is still under quarantee and we are still waiting for it to be fixed. I phone the repairs department at Park Meadows to find out when it will be fixed but I get no answers. I am not blaming the staff I'm blaming the company that is going to be doing the repair as they haven't phoned me once to let me know what is going on. When I spoke to Dora who works in the Customer Care Services at your branch in Park Meadows they told her they are waiting for the outlet pipe to arrive as they have ordered it. We just want to let you k ow that wants the TV and fridge has been paid we will not be buying from HiFi Corp again. Just to let you know when Priscilla was there doing account purchases we didn't have any of these problems. Because of there being less staff employed it shouldn't be the customers problem. Please may someone get back to me to let me know what the outcome of this complaint is going to be.

Hy i bought the 39'' sinotec television on july 2016 at hifi corp at wonderpark at pretoria the service that i got the was a wow service however after 5 month the tv began to have a line in the middle of the screen.On the 4th of january 2017 i send the tv to the nearest hi fi corp at jabulani mall were i got worse service ever they told me that the person working on customer service was not there so i must leave my details then they will call me when she is around i was so disappointed with the service so i ddnt get no help.Then the next morning which was on the 5th i got a call from a lady called tshidi asking me to come to the store again wen i get there she said she booked the tv for repair they wil call me within 21 days was given a ref no [protected].However the days passed i went back the again on the 30th january i was again told that she is not on duty. She will call me.On the 18 of february2017 i went to the store again she was not there i asked for the manager when i explain my situation she was not paying attention on me she was busy with her daughter playing with a phone an said the person who booked in the tv will call me she cannot help me as its saturday she wont be able to get hold on sinotec help line really i fail to understand that is how hi fi corp operates .

I book for machine to be fix last year October and they took a month to fix it within a month same machine stop spinning, I called Carnival branch and they told me to bring slip again, I did that. As I speak since December my machine is not been fix and I don't know why I have to wait so long cause I bought this machine for purpose but I can't use it.
I am laying this complain to you before cz I have be waited so long for their service and it seems like you don't take me serious.

poor customer care and incomplete product
I bought a television set yesterday (17/12/16) and i suspect i was sold a tv that had been on desplay but was never made aware of that and than i get home i try to connect it and it missing 1 of the parts that connect to the legs and woes i stay 120km away from springfield HiFi Corp.
i have tryd to get hold of them for much of yesterday and today but it seem there was not much interested given to my incedent, i spent alot of money here and i do not expect such behavior from such a big company, really disapointed and engry at the same time.
My rights are bieng violated here with me is a tv im unable to use and on top of that i can not take the cost of driving there since it not my fault for this whole odeal.
The lady i spoke to yesteday just tald me to bring the tv back to them and when i speak of the cost it will corse for me she lacked interest and mind you me i kept on bieng transfered to customer care which never picked up and lot of airtime going to waste.
I than eventual spoke to Mr Johnson from customer care who assure me of speaking to the manager asap and when i called him today he had forgoten about my setuation and he said he will call me back as his bussy with a customer and they also rushing so they can go to their stuff party and even now im still waiting for his call.
I also went 1 exstra i emailed him and that to went unresponded to. alot of money was spent here but all i getting is a headech for my hard earned money.
1. This ruined my weekend.
2. I have had to use money interms of data and airtime trying to get hold of them.
3. Im am realy disapointed with this compony as it prioritises every other thing but it customers.

I recently went to Hifi Corp in Beacon Bay, and I have never seen a bunch of unmotivated employees as the people who were supposedly assisting me. Starting from the floor to the cashier who made us wait for 20 min while fiddling with her computer, our saving grace was when a white man joined the queue, she then sprang to attention. I was overcharged and when O spotted the error and brought it to their attention no one even bothered to apologise for the error. I dont even have words to describe the security guard at the door who clearly was in no mood to talk or to do his kob, he was simply sour and took more than 10 min to tick off the 3 items we had bought drom the store. I said to my husband, these must be the lowest paid employees in the province because no one has any passion for what they are doing. I'm sure I will not be going to that store anytime soon
hifi corp westgate complaints
Few years 12/2014 back I bought a brand new 50" hisense TV from Hifi Corp westgate, I have sent it three already for repair for same fault, the screen just goes blank dark. The TV will show its switched on however no display, now third time I took the it back for same issue I'm being told that their are suppose to repair three time while under warranty which doesn't make sense. As profession as they are claiming to be for the first two incidents they should've made sure on the second attempt that this doesn't happen but no.
Recently I found out that HiFi Corp westgate closed down after four weeks while my TV was still not sent out for repair only got a call last week the 08/06/2016 that they just fetched it from a different branch, Hifi Corp Westrand.
I'm not willing to take back a TV that was moved from one place to another it has gathered too much dust from movements. It will soon give me problems again and it will be out of its warranty. Its either I get my refund of R6999.99 or a same new TV set with its warranty starting as.
late/no delivery
We bought a Hisense water dispenser fridge at Hifi in Fourways 3 three weeks ago to date no delivery has been made. The sales guy that assisted was Logan. An EFT transfer was made to purchase the fridge because the banks were different the money was going to appear on Tuesday. We paid the delivery fee cash and waited for the delivery to be made Wednesday. The fridge we purchased was the last one. Before we left the store the fridge we had just bought was sold to another customer. We inquired from the Manager (Dhiren) about this he said no its not a big deal the delivery will be made. I took a half day at work in order to be home for the delivery on Wednesday which was scheduled for 16:30. At 16:00 I receive a call from Hifi saying they cant deliver fridge, and it was 30 minutes before the delivery. We have been calling them since and Monday I went to the shop, I spoke to Dhiren the manager who assured me that Wednesday we should have the fridge because stock was to come yesterday. I just called them and Dhiren is off and so is the sales person Logan. So I asked about scheduled deliveries, the lady tells me there are no deliveries for the day. The sales person she puts me to, tells me no stock arrived yesterday. In all of this no one bothered to call us. Mind the purchases was made three weeks ago. 3 long weeks of waiting. PLEASE ASSIST we cant wait any longer. I believe we have been patient enough with the store.

I have been paying my account timorously until the branch in Richards bay were offline and i could not make a payment on the specific day as i wanted - NO staff to assist me in the financial area. (26 June 2015).The month after they again did not have sufficient staff to handle the payment and they told me to go to Incredible connections to make the payment. Incredible connections also did not have staff. (25 July 2015) Out of frustration because i could not make a payment i phone the HQ and requested their direct banking details in order to make a EFT payment directly into their account. I only received the banking details at the end of August (another month later and i still could not make a payment). Since September 2015 i have been making payment to try and catch up with the account which is now in arrears because of HIFI corporations incompetence and lack of sufficient staff. I received another SMS from them saying that i am 6 months behind on my account and i am NOT. i have missed 3 payments and am busy catching up the backlog as agreed by telephone. i would appreciate if someone can phone me that actually knows the finance system and that can take the proof of payments i have been sending up and down, load it onto their system and restore my name as they have been harassing me with sms's and phone calls with regards non payment which is NOT the case. i can be contacted on: [protected] or [protected]@ubuhlehr.co.za

I would like to complain about the service I received from the Vodacom Consultant based at Hi Fi Corporation Richards Bay, she is incompetent and inefficient. She is rude and unwilling to perform her duty. She is always off sick and never at work. There is usually no one able to assist customers if she is off. Her name is Pauline Govender. She does not deserve her job, there are people out there who are desperate and willing to work for their salary. She is lazy and has a bad attitude.

On the 25th of November 2014, I dropped off my TV set (still on warranty). I got an SMS on the 3rd of Jan 2015 that they can't repair it and that i needed to collect it. I queried that decision and insisted that TV was still on warranty and that they should either fix it or give me another set. At that point, they re-booked it. On 31 Jan. I visited the branch as the 14 days they had told me were up. Again stories. I spoke to a Ricardo & insisted on seeing a manager to lay a complaint. I was told all the managers were not on duty. I requested a customer complaints/ service department. I was given a bogus number by Ricardo. on the 2nd of Jan, I called that number, the person on the other side refused to give me a ref number. She only took my number and said that an email with ref number will be sent to you immediately. Today more than 24 hours im still waiting for a call from Kolonade branch, which is not coming and also from the customer service. To date, I still do not have my TV back, Please dont buy anything from Hifi Corporations - they are running a big con. They are crooks and even use bogus numbers
poor service, illogical warranty policy
I purchased a blender at the HiFi branch at riverwalk mall in Gaborone last week. After using the blender once, it burned out and stopped working (I tried blending banana and yoghurt...nothing the product shouldn't be able to do!). When I purchased the product, I was told it would have a 1 year warranty. Today, I went back to the branch to report on the problem and return the blender. However, to my annoyance, the employees at the branch told me the warranty didn't apply in this case and they would only take the blender back if it still worked, which does not make sense at all (why would I want to return it, if it worked?). The woman talking to me became very rude when I asked for proper reasons for it.
Very poor service and very illogical warranty policy - first and last time I ever bought anything from HiFi corp. Stay away from this company!
