Ordered defy 13kg top loader
I ordered a defy 13kg washing machine from hifi online on the 29 th Aug 2020.. and to my surprise when I track my order today it's says refund pending and when I ask they tell me that they don't have stock and my money will be refunded after 7_10 working days.. I mean it took them a day to take my money now I am told this kind of rubbish.. and they have not been communicating with me at all and should have atleast had the decency to call me and let me know about stock issue.. I have been chatting to Rob and he doesn't seem to care much. I just want my R4900 to be refunded back by end of the week do that I order another machine somewhere else
I'm complaining about the service I got from your manager in carnival mall
Good evening
I would like to start by saying in not happy about the service I got at one of your branches, to be precise the one at carnival mall.
I made a laybye not knowing or advised that I need to inform the store when I need to take out my lay-bye.
Today I sent my husband to take my lay-bye, he was told that the fridge we bought was not in stock and we can take our money back.
I had to leave work early to go to shop and find out the problem as no one was willing to assist him.
When I got there I found steven who was very helpful the store manager was nowhere to be found. When came came back she was not helpful. Before she left she said she's busy with the discount and free delivery.
But when she came back she continued as if we were not there. As she left the store to do her personal shopping living a very frustrated customer. Instead of trying to help she disappeared. Left us hanging. And lied to our faces and said she went to fetch the money for us.
After the cashier ask another customer who was there to pay to give her r 500 to give us. For discount. She was all over the place. When she was called for another customer she shouted at the back and said i'm not coming I don't wanna deal with those people.
She was very rude, her customer service is very poor. This was not my first purchase from you. The way I was tread today by one of your staff i'm not happy and I don't i'm coming back. I don't know if that's how you treat your customers. After they spent so much money and treat them like dirt.

I bought an hp laptop online for my little sister on the 6th till today have not received it, what's worse the agents keep lying that the item is at the warehouse. My sister needed the laptop for her assignments, no one responds to emails and calls
No delivery on an online purchase
My friend has bought me a jbl endurance run eat phone, the item was purchased online on1st august 2020 and up to date there has been no communication about the delivery or the late delivery

Purchase of samsung 55' smart tv
Good day, I put down a r500 layby on a samsung 55' inch smart tv. Approximateky 1 month later, I returned to hifi corporation and paid the balance of the tv (r8 199) and bought other items and paid in full by credit card. I was promised that the tv was to be delivered the following week.
I was not updated on progress, a week later I called and was informed tv was coming from johannesburg. To my utter disbelief I was then informed that the version of the tv I ordered was discontinued and I would have to top up r3500.00 for the revised version. To me this is unethical. How do you advertise something that does not exist?
I will never buy another product from hifi corporation. Very unprofessional service and this experience has been shocking.
In the midst of covid19 I was advised to collect the refund from the shop. Seriously? I must collect over r8 000.00 and expose myself. Customer service does not exist in this shop and i've been treated with disdain and they have wasted my time.

After I purchased the bed online I noticed that there is a 7-14 day delivery window. Although I respect the requirements I contacted the call centre and left a online message. A rep called me back and after I explained to her that we are elderly and lost the bed and base due to to a electrical incident and that we are currently sleeping on the floor. She stated that the bed would be delivered on monday. I have left several online messages and mails but no feedback. Yesterday I called again and the lady confirmed that they are working on the matter. Problem is nobody responds to my requests and call are not always answered, service really poor
Poor customer service
I bought a bosch front-load washing machine on the 14th of july 2020 at hi fi cooperation in wonderpark. Unfortunately on the day of the delivery I lost the slip. On the 15th of july 2020 I went to the store to ask for my slip reprint then I was told that I should submit a bank statement as proof of purchase. Then I gave them all they need and the message I got was that it will be sent to my email. Now on the 5th of august 2020 I went again to the store to ask why didi I not receive the email they promised, then I got an excuse from the manager that they no longer print them at the store only head office can help me and that I was not supposed to loose the slip, then why is there a reprint option?. Now if a manager can say that to me where can I get help?
Cellphone bought online
I bought a cellphone online (Hisense U40)
Purchase was made on 24 July 2020.
The phone was delivered to me on 28 July 2020.
I tried to test the phone, but it simply would not switch on.
I sent an email to jdgroup, just a few minutes after receiving the phone. I got no reply.
I stay in Uitenhage (close to Port Elizabeth) so I phoned the Port Elizabeth branch of Hifi Corporation on 28 July 2020.
The lady that answered the phone told me that I could simply bring the phone to the shop (as long as I had the original packaging as well as all the paperwork). I asked her if I could then take another phone of greater value as I now do not trust Hisense, to which she answered that it would not be a problem.
On the 30th of July I phoned the Port Elizabeth branch again, as I needed to find out what time they closed. The lady that answered the phone this time, told me a whole other story.
I needed to speak to the manager. He has to obtain authorisation and book the phone in etc etc.
So I held the line to speak to him. With no success.
I phoned three different times.
Then I simply gave up and asked the lady that answered the phone who I should ask for when I come in. I was told to ask for Fezile.
I also sent an email to jdgroup on 30 July 2020, which I also had no reply. Three phonecalls was made to their customer care line aswell and I left my name and number on the voicemail, but I was never contacted.
We arrived at the Port Elizabeth store on 30 July 2020 and it was close to closing time (17h00) instead of 18h00 as stated on their website.
I got hold of Fezile. I was told that headoffice must give authorisastion for him to take the phone into stock, as it was an online purchase.
He took the phone. I received no paperwork from him to confirm that it was taken in.
I was told that headoffice only works untill four.
So I gave the phone with all the paperwork to Fezile.
He promised to phone me on Friday, 31 July 2020.
I received no phonecall.
Today is 03 August 2020.
I phoned Hifi Corp again. Three times. I tried to speak to Fezile. No answer.
I have no clue as to what is going on. Will I be refunded or can I take a more expensive phone.
Tomorrow it will be one week since the phone was delivered. Absolutely shocked that customer service is non existant at Hifi Corporation

Account that is closed a year back
I had an account with hifi corporation a while back but the account was paid off and closed February 2019
I sent through paid up letters etc but still on my itc it shows 6 month in arrears and is a negative listing, this is unacceptable as this is the second time it is on m report even though i have paid everything.
I get declined for any credit as this looks now that i am a bad payer but this issue is resolved a year ago already why does this account still shows active and open and in arrears on my itc
Damaged wall heater, nobody is interested in customer care.
I ordered on line a Goldair Wall Heater on the 17/7/2020 (order number [protected]). On the 23/7/2020 I followed up on this order as they had debited my card but heard nothing from them. It was eventually delivered on 27/7/2020. Firstly the box was old and damaged and taped up a number of times. When I opened it, there was no instruction book, the power cable was not tied up with a wire wrap, there were no rawl plugs and screws were missing (these items were included in the advert). The remote which was broken was not in a zip lock bag. This item was either a demo model or one that was damaged and returned and you have tried to fob it off onto me.
I have tried to get hold of somebody via emails, customer care center, to no avail. I have spoken to somebody on the chat line who gave so many promises and nothing has materialized. I would like a refund and not a replacement, if this is the service I am getting after purchase.
55inch smart tv
I have purchased 3 TVs from HIFI Corp during Black Friday of last year. I haven't installed when purchased but installed at the start of the Lockdown. Just to learn that the 55inch smart tv software is very problematic. In correcting this I attempted to use a smart box with it just to realise that the HDMI fitted unit is not working (as I replaced it with several cables). On the 15 June I took in the TV to HIFI Corp to register my complaint (faulty software and HDMI unit to be fixed). Just to be told due to the size of the TV they will sent out an SP. After waiting for more than 14 days I enquired at the branch of the SP just to be told that I need to return the TV as the SPs no longer do house calls which I responded positively and returned the unit. After approx. 7 days (a month after complaint was registered) I received the unit back without a positive result (unit still in the same condition of not operating properly). Same day I called the branch and was transferred to the Branch Manager, Mr Van Vuuren that firstly contest that the unit was booked with them as there is no paper work to confirm such and request that I return the unit back to them so that he can also assess. Upon which I reply that this is acceptable and stated that the following 2 options are been presented to HIFI: 1. Replace the Unit with a New Unit or 2. Cash Refund. I was then been told that they need to check the unit which I reply but I as a customer has afforded HIFI more than enough time to remedy the situation and by no means will I incur further cost of returning the unit. I then request that they collect the unit at their cost upon which they reply the cost of the courier will be for my cost. I then request that they put me in touch with the Regional or Area Manager of HIFI Corp, which they promise they will do. As at today 29 July 2020 I have not received a call.

I have ordered the product online and cannot track it via the tracking, have tried to call but after a few seconds the phone goes dead, I also sent numerous e mail without any replies back. Where is my shaver and when are they going to deliver. They have until Friday 24 July to deliver the item and then I only have 48 hrs to send an email that I did not receive the item otherwise I lose my money, but if I cant get through to them now how will I get through to them later.

I've bought an ELLIES DUAL LNB from Hifi Corp online at the end of April 2020. My order never reached me and it's now 1 July 2020. I don't get any response from Hifi Corp let alone refund. I've been phoning, emailing and chat online with HIFI Corp staff since the beginning of May 2020 and up to now not one person has assisted me with this matter.
Refund and poor service
I hereby request my refund to be paid directly into account with immediate effect.
My cancellation was done last week and I did not receive any correspondence from your office.
I expect payment to be made today or I will proceed with taking legal action.
I further lodge a complaint against Glendel Blok, I requested to speak to the manager regarding my case and he put me on hold for over 20minutes, I tried several time to ask me why is he putting me on hold for such a long time but he ignored me.
I trust that my complaint will be dealt with swiftly and I await your urgent response.

I need my refund.. Hi.. I have purchased a TV online 1st week May.. I than later on requested a refund I was told to send an email to your finance department. I did send an email but no reply. I Then Went to one of your branches in kampton Park.. They communicated with the person who deals with online purchases.. Bt Stil no help. I contacted their customer service they told me they will file my request and get back to me.. Each and everyday I get a call from them askin if I got my TV I told them I requested a refund and thy say they will work on that.. They send me an email requesting my banking details so they can refund me but still I havnt received anything.. I have already mailed my banking details to 2 people already telling me that il get my money till 2day.. its almost 2 months now.. I am rEally not happy with Their service.. It is very poor.
Laptop refund
I'd like to file a complaint about acompany called hificorp. I made an online transaction on the 31 March 2020 for a laptop due to covid I was told I'll receive it on the 16 April. I asked them to cancel my order as I could not wait that long because I need that laptop for my school assignments. I waited a good 2 months for my refund until I was told on email by one of their workers Sphiwe Mdhluli that the type of card that I'm using doesn't allow refunds and therefore I should send them my banking details so they do a EFT that was on the 5th June on Saturday. She told me I'd get my refund sometime next week which was last week. No refund still nothing. I sent her an email she stopped responding to me. I contacted them here on Facebook to ask what exactly is happening right now I'm told that my order number is wrong while that's the order number I've been using ever since. I want to open a case. I don't have a laptop right now as we speak I used all my NSFAS money on this laptop. It's hard to do my assignments my test because I don't have more money to purchase another laptop. Weight scale
I've placed an order for a weighing scale and they said it will take 7-14 working days so now it's been 5 weeks since i've been waiting for my delivery and i've been trying to call their customer care number for several times and it always says they're always busy with another call. I request them to deliver it to me around this week or I want a refund
Online purchase not delivered
I ordered a bed online with HiFi Corporation on the 31st of May 2020 and was told it would be delivered within 3-7 business days. It's has been 2 and a half weeks with no word from them. Tracking the order it always just shows as received paid and no further progress. It's impossible to get through on their customer care line as they just don't answer and when you contact them on their online chat service they tell you to email them. Once you've emailed them they don't respond to the emails. At this I would like a refund and getting that is also problematic as they don't answer calls or respond to emails.
Still awaiting my 13 kg defy toploader
On 24 March 2020 I paid online for my 13kg Defy Toploader. I understand that during lockdown the item was not essential, but since level 4 restrictions was implemented I have been fighting with HiFi Corp to get an update on the status of my order. I emailed them on 12 May 2020 where I then requested a cancellation and refund, but to this date no one came back to me with a reply of any sort. I have also been engaging them via their live chat functionality, and every time I chat to a consultant I am told that they will get back to me with feedback and that they unfortunately cannot tell me when delivery will take place. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service that I have been receiving from them.
Bought washing machine and tv
The service of this store namely Hi Fi Cop in SA Northern Cape Kimberley is very poor. I've bought a washing machine and TV online at the store on the 16 May 2020. Was told by the cashier it will be delivered within 5days, yesterday the 27May my washing machine was delivered when I ask the courier guy what about my TV he said he was not told about that. I called the shop again they keep on telling me lies over and over again. I'm still waiting for my TV to be delivered.
