Horrible experience at HMS host Starbucks in Monmouth rest area! My wife, daughter and I stopped for coffee at Monmouth Travel Plaza on NJ Garden State Parkway. I assumed this was a great decision since Starbucks typically has good reputation for good coffee and service and we frequently stop at other Starbucks in our travels.
Our order was:
Grande coffee - tasted very bad. Not drinkable. At $4.76 I expected good coffee. The same size coffee at Dunkin Donuts is $1.98 and far better tasting.
Pumpkin Spice Latte - excessively over sweetened. My daughter orders this drink often at other Starbucks.
Iced coffee w/almond milk - asked for no sugar added. Sugar WAS added. My wife asked for a new one which the person made (filled 75% almond milk and 15% coffee with the rest ice) with an attitude and comments about how much she is overworked and needs help. Not my problem as a paying customer.
I would like a full refund of $12.45 at the very least for this unbelievably horrible experience.

We ordered 2 drinks and after we had already paid they said they didn't have any Whipped cream for the vanilla bean Frappuccino and didn't seem to care. Both our drinks were disgusting and we didn't drink them. I called the number on my receipt, the next day and was told I would be called in 48 hours. . It's been over a month... do you actually care about the product and service you give.. because it looks like you just want your 11 bucks for 2 crappy drinks... starbucks should be ashamed of the quality you serve, representING their name
famous nathans at walt whitman travel plaza
On Aug 26th...on our way to Florida from Massachusetts, we hungry travelers stopped at Walt Whitman plaza for a Nathan's hot dog. Store ID is 4NJNAT36.
It should have been a clue when no one else was getting their food from this restaurant. To make a long story short...I have never seen such a "who cares" attitude in my life. Order Taker, Cheyenne, had a blank look on her face...like no one was home! Our order was completely messed up...we got someone else's...unfortunately should have checked before we got back on the road.

Hot dogs did not even taste like Nathans (are they?) and we were charged $19.44 for crummy tasting hotdogs (not sure they are nathans), soggy and unsalted fries, and a medium...really small soda. We were so hungry we ate one hot dog between us and threw the rest away. My husband ranted for an hour as to how there is no more customer service anymore and that he's tired of working hard just to throw money away. One gentleman helping the order taker did nothing but talk...no gloves on anyone! Some one from the higher up needs to go there as a customer or better yet as an "undercover boss". I know this is fast food basically but come on! I want a refund or contact me so that I can get a gift card for Nathan's hot dogs.

Awful customer service and food. Fri mid-morning flying out and need some food. I go up to 370032 Ingrid and attempt to order a hamburger. Regular burger with lettuce and onion. I stated this three times as she seemed confused. Finally says she'll give me a shack burger the way I want. Of course it's a higher charge but whatever. Until I get the cheeseburger with tomatoes and sauce, none of which I wanted. Ended up throwing food away. Not any ounce of care shown.
tim hortons - charging more than what is advertise on calgary airport location screens
I work at Calgary airport and definitely go to tim - hortons more than 2 times a day, few months ago I took bagel combo and I realized that its not the prize which is advertise and when I asked them they just gave a plain answer its just the GST(sales tax 5%). Never notice after that again, today I took the combo again and the price which was advertise is $4.89 and when I asked how much I have to pay she said $5.26. It seems wrong to me so I calculated and it should be $5.13 with tax. So I asked her why its different and its a wrong price you are charging every time when someone is buying a combo. She doesn't have any answer and just to shut me up she added a discount and make it to $5.13. Whenever I go to timhortons I never pay by debit. Today after this incident I paid by my debit card so that I will have a prove.
Its just a fraud to advertise less and charge more to your customers.

We had a delay at LAX and I decided to get a Starbucks for my husband and myself by our gate at the airport. First of all, the cashier was very rude about my simple order (Venti chai latte and venti white chocolate mocha). I still smile bc I realize being in customer service can sometimes put a person in a bad mood and she may be having a bad day. Then the barista making the drinks very loudly drops her tin and screams [censored]. I look over at her, startled a little by the noise, and she just glares at me & continues using the dropped tin. Then she finally puts my chai latte up and calls out the name I gave (mind you, they were not busy yet). When I take it she questions the name I gave her and I (still politely) tell her "yes, this is one of the 2 drinks I had ordered". She rolls her eyes and starts on another drink. Then she puts up a venti mocha and calls out "Lei" and the name of the drink. Being that isn't me, I patiently wait, wondering if she meant to say venti WHITE CHOCOLATE mocha. After she makes a few more drinks I ask if that was supposed to be a white chocolate mocha, she very rudely tells me no, calls out the name and drink again, and goes back to her other order (they had just gotten a line of about 5 people). I then have to try to get her attention again & when I do tell her I was still waiting on my other drink order. She Very rudely says she doesn't have a ticket for that and accusingly asks if I have a receipt. Luckily for our trip, I had been keeping all of our receipts. As I hand her the receipt she stops and pulls out her phone where she proceeds to read a text she had just received, then hands me back my receipt and walks away. I stand there, not sure if she made my drink, is making my drink, or completely disregarding me. A couple minutes later she sets a venti cup on the counter, no sticker with the label of what it is or a name on it, and walks away. I have to yell out to her, still very nicely, considering, if this was my drink. She says "Ya." and continues what she's doing. I say "Awesome, thanks." & walk away fuming. I honestly had thought about sending in a complaint on just the rudeness of the very beginning of the situation but reconsidered bc I like to think it's better to write in positive feedback if possible. But this was completely ridiculous and I'm still just quite annoyed by the whole thing. And on top of it all, my coffee is watered down and terrible.

Waited in line to order a pike place and decaf coffee. Young girl behind counter informed me there was no decaf and when I asked for a pour over she wouldn't do a pour over for decaf. Said it would take her 10 minutes to do it! What! 10 minutes : seriously terrible service and rude with it, while making fancy foo foo drinks. Starbucks service is going downhill. Keep your gold card!

My husband and I went to Anthony's Fish Bar at Sea Tac Airport morning(5:40am) of 8/31 for breakfast. Hostess greeted us, we got drinks and ordered food. The wait for food was very long, and the table next to us arrived 20 min after us(yes, 20 min), but his food came at the same time as ours. There were also 3 tables near us that filled at the same time as us, but those patrons ate and left before we got our check.
Server super friendly and knowledgeable, but food runner?(person who delivers food)(female) was very slow and didn't walk around restaurant with any purpose. Very disappointed in service and timeliness.

Seattle Tap room at Seattle airport. Button pressing service in order to have the waiter come to your table. I thought he took quite a while to bring the menu but came back and took my order after that in reasonable time. The meal also came in reasonable time. H0wever my problem came when i wanted to pay the check. I pressed my buzzer but no response after 15 minutes i pressed it again, still no response. I asked a waitress for my check, she asked me who my waiter was but i hadn't seen him since he served my meal about an hour earlier. She told me to press my button, i told her I had done twice already. She just walked away, I have no idea if she was going to get my bill, find my waiter or what. My check arrived in about another 5 minutes and i left. I understand the system is to help people who may be in a hurry but on this occasion it just cased stress. As a visitor I find as a general rule in the US the Waiters are very attentive and you would not normally have to wait on a check and so I am not sure this service is adding anything.
I was also not impressed that I had to pay extra for my cheese and French fries with my meal. Everyone knows burgers come with French fries. I felt it was a very expensive burger for what it was. I will certainly not visit or encourage anyone to visit again

Hi I am from Erie Island derive plaza and have been mistreated every since telling the boss that I was pregnant . Ever since then she has been going out of her way to to purposely make my life more stressful . I would say there are so many employees complaining about her but due to our short staff problem we don't have anyone . She excpects you to bend over backwards for the company but will try and mess with you every chance she gets . I have worked with her for 3 years and nothing has changed . She is constantly found bad mouthing fellow employees and won't respect anyone's availability . I was extremely sick the other day and there was too mangagers here and the other girl I was suppose to work with called off and I was left in the store for 3 hours by myself without anyone checking in on me . We all are about done . I love my job but somethings gotta give .

I am an airport employee and visit Starbucks at everyday. This time while I was visiting your Starbucks location by the A/B check point at Las Vegas airport. The cashier who took my order was rude and had horrible customer service. The cashier was rushing me while I placed my order and even told me there was no blond roast coffee while I was watching another employee behind her make it, when I pointed out she repeated there was no slowly as if I had a hearing problem. Before I could even pay for my order she was calling the next person in line over and spitting out numbers for me to write down on the discount sheet.

Cross contamination food and drink
I asked for an ice coffee (Americano) the server placed the cup under machine to dispense shots of coffee. Then she when on to handle the dirty dishes in the sink behind her. Dalia went back to the drink (*Without washing her hands from the dirty dishes she was just handling*) and attempted to scooped the ice from the ice-maker into my cup.
I stopped her and asked her to please wash her hands before she handled my drink and the ice she was annoyed and asked the other server to finish the drink.
the other server was no better as she had just handled boxes of food items she was checking in.
My plane was boarding so I ended up not drinking the drink as I did not want to get sick
HMS please do better as this was NOT the FIRST TIME I experienced poor service at this location and actually from this server Dalia.

We stopped at the Indian Meadows service plaza in Indiana. We decided to eat dinner at the Burger King. The service was extremely slow with the staff not seeming to care that the line was long. When we finally got our food, the 2 whoppers were old and cold. We were very disappointed with our meal.

On 8/19 my husband and I ate at chili's too inside chicago's o'hare airport. The food was good, however, while drinking our beverages we noticed that the glasses were filthy. They had a soap [censor] type substance in them that you could smear with your finger or scrape it of with your fingernail. It was disgusting. I wish we would have noticed beforewet started drinking.

I'm sending this complaint in regards of getting over charged at starbucks location SEASTA14 by an employee by the name of Norma. This has been on going for 2 months now if not more, I order the same thing I have been for 9 years tall Iced coffee, vanilla, whole milk and no ice. All the starbucks baristas know my order and know me for coming in all the time not just for me but for my employees as well. I have also came to that location to get over 200.00 worth gift cards for my employees.
Norma has been spoken to by not just leads but managers as well to be specific Preston was the last one to speak with her in regards of her customer service and being rude. That same day Norma decided not to just over charge me by 1.00 but when I came back from meeting with the manager. As I walked up to the register to reorder Norma took her register out and walked away.
There are times where she speaks in her language talking mess (Norm is not aware I know what she's saying)calling me a witch ect.
Today there was a new barista named Irene (good customer service) on the register, Norma takes it upon herself to walk away from making drinks to tell Irene to charge for iced coffee with added Breve. This time I didn't go myself I sent my dispatch to go get coffee so I didn't get disrespected by Norma as mentioned above this is ongoing for 2 months. (btw I returned the coffee spoke to Lead got my refund)
What interesting in all this is that I always see her giving free drinks to her fellow filipinos and employees she likes and known for a while. When I come around I get charged extra for all kinds of things including milk in my iced coffee.
If everyone in every terminal charges me the same for my coffee why is it Norma has her own prices?
I know after reading this you may think this is personal (hey I do too) maybe on her behalf it is but on my behalf I just want to continue getting coffee from starbucks with out getting disrespected or treated unfairly. Whether it's the over charging or rolling the eyes or just plain ol disrespect.
I go to starbucks not just for the great coffee but the great customer service I have been receiving for 10 years as well.

This morning (08.17.17) I stopped at Sloatsburgh service area on I-87 in NY state to get a bacon, egg and cheese bagel from Dunkin Donuts, I have had bad experiences at this branch in the past and complained many years ago. This morning I arrived to find 3 people in line ahead of me and one woman serving who was leaning on the register rather than standing up, she seemed uninterested in the customers, there were quite a few staff around but not helping her. After standing in line for 15 minutes and watching her eventually deal with two men at the head of the line the lady customer in front of me got fed up with waiting and walked away, then the guy right in front of me got served, she then walked away leaving me standing at the counter to wait, she eventually returned and I ordered my bagel, she took my money and walked off after handing me a receipt. As I stood waiting for my order the guy who had stood in front of me was getting impatient and murmered ''Where's my coffee?"
She then returned with his food and he asked her again where his coffee was, she said 'You'll have to wait and walked away to prepare my bagel leaving him standing there speechless. I was then handed my food and he asked once again where his coffee was, I then left the site. 30 minutes in total to get a bagel is not acceptable.

Finally she came out to see what was taking him so long to get us our food and then decided to help...When I finally got my breakfast, it was still warm but soggy crossanwich...
I know it's a travel plaza and they don't care what quality of service they give but poor reputation for Burger King...
